5 More Time Slip Cases

last year our made a video about five alleged Tom slip cases from around the world the video was popular so today I'll take a look at five more very different cases [Music] our first case is taken from a story sent to me from youtube user han - of ER he contacted me back in January after watching my first Tom slip video now this sounds more like a ghost story but it could be interpreted as a time slip see what you think he had his experience in Austin gory in 1995 when he and a friend went to a watchmaker in the town to get his friends watch fixed he recalled that his friend whose name was Baylor was short on money and intended to sell his watch so needed to get it fixed the watchmakers shock was a small boutique next to a pet supply store called mini Zoo it was located here on Vasa far away on entering the shop they noticed in the old man is he at work behind a desk they approached him and asked how much it would cost to fix the watch the old watchmaker told them to return the next day when he would have more time to take a look at the watch and consider a price the two young men returned the next day to find a note attached to the shop window which said that there had been a death in the family and the shop was now closed for business later that day they were told by Bailey's girlfriend that the watchmaker they had spoken to the previous day had died five days earlier and that his shop had been closed ever since this was confirmed later by other people in the town it's not certain where this next story came from exactly but it seems to have first appeared on the Internet in 2014 20 years after it allegedly happened in fact all accounts of this case are almost identical with no additional information but it's a strange tale nonetheless the story goes that a young woman named Sue and her boyfriend Jim were driving to the home in Fallbrook California on Friday evening in late 1994 she said that they had been traveling along Mission Road a two-lane formal curved road that was usually busy especially on a Friday evening on this day the road was desolate with no other cars traveling in either direction sue who was driving recalls looking at the clock on the car's dashboard which read 624 p.m. at that moment she said that the cars accelerator pedal went stiff and all of the lights in the car turned off sue remembers feeling confused thinking that they had just run out of fuel but knowing that they had plenty in the tank they quickly turned off into a dirt track and stopped her boyfriend Jim asked her what happened but neither of them had an explanation she said that she felt strange as if she had just dozed off for a second and the atmosphere felt thick as if they were traveling through jello Jim jumped out of his seats ran around to the driver side and took the will while Sue jumped into the passenger side he restarted the car no problem and they continued onward it was then that sue noticed the clock on the dashboard again it read 636 p.m. a for 12 minutes have passed but she swears the entire incident was all over in less than two minutes if the story is true could it have been a slip in time that made the car malfunction momentarily or did Sue simply lose track of time this is probably the most well known story on the list in 1971 three cattle feed delivery men are the names of Karl Gordon and Mark drove their truck up an overgrown cattle pasture in Ponca City Oklahoma they were there to collect a cattle feeder from the farm which they were told by their employer was waiting for them next to a red barn they pulled up next to the pastures gate which was unlocked so they swung it open and again driving across that overgrown terrain to the farmhouse located across the field they noticed that the grass was tall and obviously hadn't been attended to in some time when they reached the barn they tried to load the cattle feeder onto the truck and it was too heavy even for all three of them to lift so after some contemplation they decided to leave report the problem to the boss and returned the next day the men were leaving they drove around the barn to see if they could see anyone around there was no one there but they noticed an old two-story white house on a hill the lights were off so assuming no one was home they carried on their way they returned the next day having been told by the cattle feed company that the feeder tank would be drained this time instead of driving through the overgrown pasture they decided to drive to the property via the old house on the hill but the house was no longer there there was no signs of demolition or even a pre-existing foundation it had apparently vanished drawing no logical conclusion the experience was seared into their memories and the men apparently didn't speak of the incident until 2012 this next story is frustratingly vague and more difficult to believe because of the lack of information available it was covered in time slips real stories of time travel by catherine fletcher and tells the story of a woman who sat on the porch of her farmhouse one day she was waiting for her husband to return after he'd left earlier that day to shop for supplies the story says that the woman looked up and saw her husband's wagon trundle up the road to the farms gate she then saw him leave the vehicle and opened the gate she paid no more attention and looked away when she looked back at the gate a few moments later it was closed and her husband and his wagon were nowhere to be seen confused she came to the conclusion that her husband must have forgotten something turned around and returned to town an hour passed and again she saw a wagon make its way up the road again she saw her husband leave the wagon opened the gate and continued up the pathway leading to the house when she asked him why he had turned around an hour ago he said that he hadn't and it was the first time he'd been home since leaving earlier that a could this woman have momentarily seen into the future now I think I saved the best hell for last the year was 1974 when a national airline seven to seven flights on approach to land at Miami International Airport received instructions from the control tower to divert the plane immediately to a secluded runway the pilots on board were confused as all was going well and they had experienced nothing out of the ordinary during the flight the panicked control tower instructor was pleading for the pilot to land the plane at a runway which was reserved for emergencies such as crash landings and hijackings the plane landed without incident and all the passengers were ushered off or airport security or the police and fire services assembled outside the aircraft no one was told what was going on and eventually the captain became impatient and demanded to know what the problem was after joining the captain the head of airport security explained that the plane had lost radar contact with the control tower for a full 10 minutes he went on to say that the plane hadn't merely lost contact he had this appeared completely from view the captain was then asked to check his watch and the clock in the planes cockpit the Miami Herald reported that an investigation into the incident showed that both the captain's watch and the clock in the cockpit read 9:20 a.m. not only this but every passenger who'd worn a watch also saw the time to be the same in actual fact the time was 9:30 a.m. as shown on the security guards watches and every other timepiece outside of the 7:00 to 7:00 the plane and everyone on board have lost 10 minutes now let's go back to when the plane was in the air the control tower had lost contact with the 727 immediately assuming that it had exploded in midair or crashed for 10 frantic minutes no one was able to find anything and the emergency services were sent out to the swamplands west of Miami where they were certain they would find a fallen plane the radar unit was said to be functioning normally and was still monitoring other flights in the area in fact some of the other planes in the area passed through the same airspace that the 727 had vanished from but then the plane suddenly reappeared in exactly the same position from which it had vanished which seemed impossible over the space of ten minutes the plane should have traveled a considerable distance from the point of view of the crew and all the passengers nothing was out of the ordinary and they hadn't experienced anything unusual the crew even said that they maintained communication with the tower throughout the entire ten minutes and if they had flown off course surely they would have noticed according to available information it seems that the plane simply did not exist for ten minutes at least not in our timeline the case of the national airline 727 if true has never been solved its internet history reeks of urban legend though as the dates of the incident vary some say it happened in 1969 some say 1971 but the 2013 book true time-travel stories by Richard Bullivant states that happened in 1974 as this book refers to a printed news report from the Miami Herald this is the year I went with although I could still be wrong the incident was also covered in Martin Kayden's Ghost of the air first published in 1991
