hey everyone in today's video i'm going to be listing five beautiful beaches on lake tahoe's east shore [Music] what is up guys for those of you who don't know me i'm gabriella i am an outdoor photographer currently living in beautiful lake tahoe i make videos on mostly lake tahoe and the surrounding area so if that's something you're interested in go ahead and hit that subscribe button as mentioned in today's video i'm gonna be listing five beautiful beaches along lake tahoe's east shore and you can enjoy these spots any time of year not just the summer actually right now as i'm filming this it's march and off season is one of my favorite times to enjoy these beaches all of these beaches are located along route 28 and i'm going to be listing them from north to south so with that let's just get straight into the video here are five beautiful beaches along lake tahoe's east shore [Music] number one is hidden beach hidden beach is located on route 28 about one mile south of incline village this beautiful beach features crystal clear water and rocky alcoves all framed by the surrounding mountains you can access this beach along the east shore bike path which also connects to sand harbor number two is sand harbor about two miles south of hidden beach is sand harbor sand harbor features sandy beaches beautiful turquoise colored water and a well-maintained boardwalk this is one of the busiest beaches in lake tahoe during the summer months but you can avoid the crowds by visiting in the off season if you do visit during the summer keep in mind that parking can fill up by 10 a.m especially on the weekends due to its prime location on the east shore this is a great spot to rent a paddle board or a kayak and paddle out to bonsai rock number three is bonsai rock bonsai rock is about one mile south of sand harbor to reach bonsai rock and the surrounding area you can either hike down from the road or as mentioned you can kayak or paddle board from sand harbor aside from bonsai rock itself there are plenty of big boulders to lay out on as well as a small beach area number four is chimney beach a little south of bonsai rock is chimney beach the beach gets its name from a standalone chimney that used to be part of an old cabin the chimney is now all that remains aside from the cool chimney this tucked away beach has crystal clear water and amazing views of the east shore to get here it's just a short hike down from the secret harbor parking lot on route 28. number five is secret cove it's hard to pick but secret cove might be my favorite spot on this list the water is so pristine and turquoise you have to see it to believe it this spot has also become very popular on summer weekends but it's still possible to have it to yourself when visiting during the week or off season you can access secret cove from the secret harbor parking lot or directly from route 28 all right so those were five beautiful beaches on lake tahoe's east shore i really hope you guys enjoyed this video if it was helpful please give it a like or subscribe and as always let me know your thoughts or your questions in the comments so thank you so much for watching guys and i will see you in the next one
