be used for any daw from logic pro tools ableton fl anything else i can't think of but it can usually be used for everything but before we get into the video make sure you like comment and subscribe look you guys enough of all that let's get into this video our top five free vs team plug-ins and instruments for 2021. let's get it all right you guys let's get into it this right here is the top five free vst plug-ins and instruments you can use and for every plugin i use i will put the download link in the description so you guys can go to it as we go along the plugins are going to get better and better so the first one will start with the beat timer free download by curtis king it's a way to keep you guys productive you know what i mean all right so this is the speed timer it's very simple it's literally a stopwatch it's for people who want to time themselves i know i have this problem where i spend too long to be doing the same thing sometimes you want to just move through them so like you can literally use a timer put yourself in 20 20 minutes go down boom or you can do a countdown or you can switch it up as timer see how long it takes you to make a beat that's pretty dope um you reset it right here it's pretty easy pretty straightforward but you can use this for timer i use i'm gonna start using the four line i'm gonna do beat videos like made three beats in 10 minutes instead of going to a different screen and do a google timer the time will be right in here i'll just set it for um countdown mode 10 minutes and go ahead and go and i make some beats in 10 minutes another thing is every time you open open the logic and put this uh plugin on you can see day street um my streak is at zero because i don't think i made beats yesterday there's other things over here leaderboard you can go to the website and who got the best streak it's a guy that's a 101 wow 101 day streak so the dope thing they have prizes you can win if you go on the streak and it's a simple plug game but go download this because this is the utility kind of for your workspace and just making sure you're staying on task so the second thing we're going to go to is i don't know if i'm saying this wrong either but it's essential kicks all right i think it's cashmere essential kicks but i i doubt that's how you say it it is a dope plugin so i'm going to play the beat i have right now with no effects no essential kick on it so [Music] so what essential kick does is it lets you it's kind of like an overdrive or distortion it brings out your kicks way way more and this is how it looks like essential kicks it has certain knobs you can go buy i know i'm using a 808 and not a kick it can be used on 808 as well and even a bass even a bass that you you want to be real punchy all right so i'm gonna turn up the mid a little bit let's see how this sounds that's the mid frequency all right put some air on it all right let's see what trans does [Music] compression it's kind of compressing it out it sounds like i can turn down a little bit that's though let's see what pressure does [Music] wow pressure put a lot on it [Music] as you can see you guys can really customize your kick without a simple just overdrive or distortion and let's see what it sounds like before and after so this is with no uh essential kick on it [Music] with essential this is with it [Music] totally that one out for sure so the third plug-in is really dope it's called fresh air by slate digital the best way to me explain what fresh air is it's an exciter for your eq's pushes the mid and high eqs up to sound very good and very sparkly but like it doesn't make it sound harsh not only be used for your lead instruments or your lead lead sounds it could be used for your voice as well it's very good so let me show you how to use it so right now this is how it sounds there's nothing on it [Music] and i love things like this it's really simple it has two buttons mid air high air and a link button check this out so i'll play it one more time it's nothing on it i'm gonna plug the mid [Music] you hear the mid going up i'm gonna put up the highs now at a high sparkle [Music] without it this is without it without the fresh air with the fresh air [Music] it really brings out those highs it really does and you guys don't have to use it this high you can use it lower you can pretty much use it on everything to um you can hear the difference in something like this something that really has those hajj you hear the difference so no fresh air look how dull it sounds fresh air slate digital fresh air is a must-have definitely for your leads i'm not showing you guys this now but you can use it on vocals to sound great on vocals and higher range vocals or you want to bring out those highs and the vocal sounds beautiful so now this is for plug-in four now it's time to get to those vsts those instruments those vsts instruments all right i mean if you don't have any vsd's instrument you don't have to get on atmosphere right away you guys get some free stuff one of the top ones i would say to get is complete control by native instruments she has complete control by native instruments when you open up complete control it's going to look like this this is 100 free you got to go download it and use this 100 free you can literally just type see what instrument you want um i'm gonna say flutes because that's what i was using hit flute right here you could say what kind of flute you want i'm gonna put arie and i'm clicking down here [Music] i like the persian nay i'm gonna double click that it pops up right here and literally i i just copy and paste the flutes i had up here down here play with the attacking release to make it sound how i want to sound [Music] dry and wet [Music] make it more dry and i can also do like stuff like mallet so this is mallet's next just so i just to show you different things you can do from it the complete control is definitely a must i told you guys the more deeper we get this video the better the instruments are going to get complete control is a must all right you guys this is now the final and the last vst number five i know you guys noticed a little outfit change i noticed while editing some the audio is a little messed up so here i am to fix it but let's get into this last vst number five this vst instrument is really really dope it's called labs by spitfire audio so last by spitfire audio is actually incredible um they actually have real sounding instruments and on their website you can download which instruments you want you don't have to download everything you can pick and choose what you want the reason why i love labs is because everything sounds so real like electric piano let's see what this sounds like
