5 FREE Lo-Fi Plugins That Shouldn't Be Free!!

what's up it's your boy LJ today I'm going to be showing you five free Lo-Fi plugins that you should download right now I get this question a lot so without further Ado let's get right into it first plugin I'm super late on but it's Labs by Spitfire Labs but specifically three instruments inside of it that I think are great for Lo-Fi first one being the electric piano [Music] second one is the tape piano [Music] foreign is Moon guitar [Music] this is just an acoustic guitar with a few spicy effects on it a really cool thing about Spitfire audio besides it being free is there's all these different sounds to choose from pianos strings drums electric guitars all types of stuff in this all free I don't know how or why they do it but yeah definitely check it out and sorry for everybody who's been trying to put me on to this for ages hey I'm late all right I'm late next on the list is something super important to me when it comes to building low-fi beats and that is a solid base plugin I haven't even messed around with it too much because the default bass is perfect [Music] foreign that's the perfect base for Lo-Fi look no further you don't even need to buy a plug-in I'm probably just going to start using this from now on but yeah check out keybase you won't regret it next up we got this cute little Lo-Fi aesthetic plug-in Called Love five two [Music] this is free but technically it's just kind of like a light version of a full plug-in but there's still a lot of cool sounds a lot of cool things you can do with it for this I'm using a pad and in another instance I'm using the crystal Cascades for the little Melody [Music] there's a lot of different presets but overall look at it I mean I can't imagine a more beautiful thing Jesus [Music] so now you get some synths pads electric Keys bass now we need some effects real quick before we get into effects a word from our sponsor me my somewhat new vinyl Lo-Fi guy waves one and two it's two albums in one it has a super limited restock that's out now the link is in the description beautiful artwork by my guy Cody A banks based on the characters from our nft project one red disc one blue disc super high quality heavy weight I spared no expense so support your boy and get one of these while you still can because after this restock you can't get it anymore so act fast support your boy and let's get into these effects because they're great and they're free so it'll you can use the money you would have spent on plugins on the vinyl thanks I'm gonna be honest with you there are a ton of cassette vinyl just Lo-Fi effect plug-ins out there there's a ton of free ones there's a ton of paid ones but honestly origin by cymatics it's top tier and it's free um it pretty much has everything you need [Music] because it's not just vinyl it's not just cassette you got the different options you got real you got cassette real vinyl thank you [Music] chorus saturation movement [Music] high pass filter [Music] and not to mention you have a bunch of presets as well [Music] see honestly I was going through like a list of other ones to also add in this video but I'm like this one's good enough for every purpose you may have next up is a rather interesting plug-in it's called emergence honestly I'm kind of confused on what it does but all I know is once you put it on start messing with knobs you can get some cool Lo-Fi textures out of your Melodies and that's what I used on that guitar from Spitfire Labs I also have the built-in arpeggiator from uh Ableton don't sleep on your check your plugins honestly some of your built-in plugins in your Daw might be better than the plugins I'm showing you so don't sleep on them don't sleep on them now again it might be it's like some kind of granulator I I really don't know let's just start messing with things and you'll get the picture [Music] thank you I don't think you want that but you get the idea and if we threw origin on this Kickstart isn't free but this is something I definitely would use on something like this [Music] [Music] foreign those are a few really good free plugins for Lo-Fi also check out my website probbylj.com I do have some free sample packs up on there too anyway comment some other great free plugins below help out your homies help out me help out the community and I'll catch you guys in the next video peace
