4K | MIAMI FLORIDA Walking Tour - Brickell & Brickell Key | Aston Martin Residences

what's up everybody we're in downtown Miami and we're going to be walking all the way to Bickle key today is Sunday morning so you're going to have a lot of people out getting brunch so let's get started this is right on the corner of Southeast 1 Street and Southeast 3rd Avenue you have the Metro mover station directly ahead and there's a ton of outdoor dining options here too if you walk all the way down and you make a right it's going to bring you to East Flagler Street and you'll have the brand new Julia and Henry which is an indoor three level food CP this Starbucks was also just recently renovated too we're pretty much down this entire block you're just going to have restaurants and shops and outdoor dining now this big big build building right in front of us that looks all abandoned and ratty this is going to come down so this is going to be a complete tear down here on the corner of Southeast 3rd Avenue and in its place is going to be a brand new super tall tower it's going to be one Bayfront Plaza and it's going to have so many things in it it's going to be a multi-use building it's going to have office space and it's really going to be a critical part of the revitalization of downtown Miami and adjacent to this building that's going to come down is the 200 Southeast Financial Center that is the temporary headquarters of Citadel Securities as you know Citadel moved their corporate headquarters away from Chicago Illinois to here in Miami but that's only going to be temporary because they're building a super tall in brickl on brickl Avenue this is now the corner of Southeast Second Street this is the backside of the main hole Foods here and you could see a pretty cool view of the Miami Tower or the City National Bank building now you got to come down here at night because this building is always lit up in amazing amazing colors really complements the nickname Magic City very well but this is the on-ramp here that will take you over the bridge from downtown Miami to brickl and then in the distance you can see the Metro mover going around and that's by the Intercontinental Hotel at Bayfront Park and one more look at this building you can see it's all covered in graffiti this is going to come down and in a few years this place is going to look so much different you're going to have this gorgeous building one Bay Front Plaza which I believe is going to attract more people to live in downtown Miami particularly due to its walkability and shops if Miami really wants to make it kind of like New York City you need to have everything walkable you need to have young people moving here and they need to feel like they don't need a car to get around so the more infrastructure you build uh and the more you make it more walkable I think that's going to happen so if we continue all the way down Southeast thirdd Avenue we are going to run into the Epic Hotel and Residences and you also have the marina often times you'll see yachts and boats and things like that parked outside but here's the main entrance to the Whole Foods I always joke that this is the most expensive Whole Foods in the entire country this place is ridiculously expensive but it's really nice in there they have indoor dining in the back they have outdoor dining as well we'll wait for this light you'll probably see the Metro mover coming by because it just stopped at the Bayfront station or the Bayside Station and then you could see a little bit of the new Aston Martin residences which will take a look at here in a moment which is almost a complete sellout and soon to be ready for occupancy all right we have the light [Music] you could see all the car traffic going into the Epic Hotel and Residences on the corner of Southeast 4th Street if you make this left Gordon Ramsay's brand new restaurant just opened it's called Hell's Kitchen and every time I walk past it it's always packed always busy so you could only imagine how much more busy it's going to be once the eston Martin residences is open for occupancy as we wait for this light check this out across the street here it is the official asy Martin residences from the higher floors you could see all the way out to South Beach on a clear day complete sweeping views of downtown Miami Bickle and Bickle key and on the back you have that beautiful pool so we going to head up here by the JW Marriott hotel as well as the Wells Fargo Center and we are going to be walking over the bridge which is going to complete our transition from downtown Miami to Bickle which is the Main Financial District you're going to see the Bank of America tower and a lot of other financial institutions like truest and the like but this is the main roundabout at the JW Marriott if you're looking at move to Miami and you want to be in the main city right you want to be close to all the action you want to be close to your office you want to be close to all the shops and the restaurants but you want to go home at the end of the night and have complete privacy I would really suggest checking out Brickle Key okay and that's where we're going to walk to today you're going to see exactly what I'm talking about it's a private secluded Island away from downtown Miami and away from Brickle but you're all but a 5-minute walk to the action but you don't really have that much tourist activity there here's another view of the City National Bank building or the Miami Tower and we're right outside the Wells Fargo Center if you hear that dinging that means the bridge is about to go up it's probably making way for some type of yacht or boat coming by all right so here it is this is the bridge that will take you into Brickle you can see the Bank of America tower in the distance looks like we're going to have to wait a minute because the bridge is about to go up maybe we'll see any something cool coming over as we wait for the bridge to go up we'll take a look off to the left that's going to be the Riverwalk and you have all restaurants with both indoor and outdoor dining overlooking the river it's really an unbelievable place [Music] [Music] all right so if you remember the entrance to the Epic Hotel and Residences this is the main walkway in the marina you can see those outdoor dining venues here so particularly at sunset this is beautiful you could Overlook all of the Yachts that are docked at the Marina and the Beautiful Beautiful River overlooking Brickle and Brickle Key and here we have the bridge going up if you look all the way in the distance there's going to be elevated train tracks that is the Metro Rail so here in Miami we have the Metro mover we have bright line which will take you all the way up to Fort Lauderdale and all the way over to Orlando Florida um but you also have the uh Metro Rail Metro mover and bright line [Music] but the views from up here are really spectacular [Music] see all the way out to where the main cruise lines go like Royal Caribbean and the like you can see just how much pedestrian traffic though this backlogs up [Music] all right the draw bridge is coming down now these big towers directly in front of us this is the W Hotel and Tower as well as the icon Brickle W Hotel is really really nice and it sits just as you come over the bridge from downtown Miami to [Music] [Music] Brickle for [Music] [Music] okay we are off [Music] [Music] [Music] no it's uh [Music] [Music] and this is another view of the eston Martin residences from the Brickle side back up you can only imagine how insane those pen houses are at the top there's going to be three or two distinct doors right here off to the left you're going to have the door for the residences and you're going to have the door for the hotel I'd highly recommend the W if you are staying and you need to work either near downtown Miami or brickl it's going to be right here on Southeast Fifth Street and the main Brickle Avenue give you one more look looking back I mean the architectural design of the ason Martin residences unbelievable design and there's a few more coming up I'd like to bring your attention to so you're going to have the Mercedes-Benz residences going up right here in brickl and Siran is going to be running sales on that but if you venture up to Sunny Isles Beach Florida you also have the uh Bentley design Tower and you have uh the Porsche Design Tower so it seems like every Auto OEM is going to have their own Tower who knows maybe we'll even have a Tesla design Tower hopefully in the future who knows just on the left here you're going to have Mary Brickle Park we going to head all the way down and we're going to take that walking bridge over to Brickle Key and we'll do a lap around the entire Island which is a secluded Island away from Bickle and downtown Miami there's only one way to get there and it's over the bridge this is the First Presbyterian Church stunning architecture on it hopefully this stays there forever I like the futuristic design of a lot of these towers going up but it's also important I believe to keep the original architectural Integrity intact just off to our left you have Bank of America Tower and then right after that you have trist [Music] and on the corner of Southeast 8th Street as well as 7th Street this is going to be the development site for one Brickle City Center so one Brickle City Center is going to be connected to the main Bickle City Center it's going to be office it's just going to be amazing so there's so many new new real estate developments going up and this is going to be the main construction site so right on the corner of Bickle Avenue Southeast 7th Street and Southeast 8th Street this building's coming down this entire lot is going to be vacant and they are going to build the super tall of one brickwall city center I'd highly highly advise you Google some of the renderings because the renderings are stunning I mean talk about amazing views that you're going to have you know just another one of these Class A office towers that are going to go up that are going to bring so much economic activity to Miami and Bickle all right we are going to make a left on Southeast Street and walk over the bridge to Brickle Key however if you were to make a right that would take you directly into the main Brickle where they call it the mini Manhattan if you will and you can walk around the Bickle City Center you'll see the SLS design towers and you'll also see marry Brickle Village that's where a lot of The Nightlife is I'd say the main nightlife in brickl is just down there we'll have to do a walking tour another day of that but if you want to get there and you're just coming over the bridge from downtown Miami and if you're on Brickle Avenue just come to South East 8th Street and continue to make this right and it's going to run you directly into the brand new Brickle City Center which is an indoor/outdoor mall and you'll see those two beautiful SLS Lux Towers this is 801 Brickle this actually just sold I forget how much it sold for but it was an ungodly amount now just before we hit this bridge it's going to be Bickle Bay Drive and Bickle Bay Drive if you go all the way down that's where it's going to be the development site of citadel's new office tower So currently the tallest residential building in Miami is just off to the right it's called the Panorama Tower however it is soon to be dethroned my friends because the waldolf aoria residen is that is going to be going up in downtown Miami adjacent to the ca Center that's going to be the tallest Residential Building south of New York City again it's the waldof Historia Towers I would also advise to check out some of the renderings online because it is insane but currently the tallest one is right here it is directly centered in the screen and again that is the Panorama Tower if you want to come here for yourself come to Southeast East 8th Street in Bickle Bay Drive and just make a right I'll lead you right to it so here we are folks we are now about to walk across the bridge that is going to complete our transition from Brickle to Brickle Key now the views are going to be unbelievable it's going to be absolutely unbelievable these views and again as we talked about earlier if you're looking to live down here and you want to be close to the action you know you want to be in walking distance to your office you want to be in walking distance to the shopping centers a Brickle City Center but you want to come home at night and have everything be super quiet peaceful and tranquil Brickle Key that's your place you'll see the main sign here there's only one bridge in and out and at night you've got to come here and walk around the walking path SL running path and it'll take you around the entire Island you have some of the best views of Brickle and the building directly in front of us is the Mandarin Oriental which is a luxury hotel chain [Music] you can see how blue and beautiful the water is and if you look close you can even see some fish swimming [Music] around and this is the w and icon [Music] Brickle often times if you're lucky you'll be able to see sea turtles swimming around here too [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and then you have the Aston Martin residences [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] now if you think the view is beautiful and gorgeous right now it's Indescribable at night it really really is uh with all of the lights from the Icon Brickle the W Hotel and the ason Martin residences reflecting off of the water it's an unbelievable experience that you have to come and see for yourself uh the video will not do it justice and if we turn around you'll see the Panorama Tower very obviously sticking out the tallest residential building in Miami for [Music] [Music] [Music] take one more look at this perfectly centered view of the EST Martin [Music] [Music] residences for [Music] all right we've officially made it we are now officially on the island of Brickle [Music] Key again you have the Mandarin Oriental to the right they're also going to be building brand new residences here too that are going to be Mandarin Oriental branded now if you're from New York they have the Mandarin Oriental branded residences on Fifth Avenue and the Mandarin Oriental Hotel is in the Deutsche Bank Towers uh right at Columbus Circle in New York that building it's interesting it was formerly known as uh the AOL Time Warner Center and Deutsche Bank one of the last standing bulge bracket investment banks on the physical Street of Wall Street uh they vacated their office at 60 wall and now they've taken over the entire Time Warner Center anyway beautiful landscaping here around the mandaron Oriental and I want you to notice how quiet it is here um when we were walking over the bridge from downtown Miami to brickl there was a lot of noise a lot of Street tra traffic here you're not going to get that at all particularly at night so again if you're looking for a place quiet maybe you have kids uh this is the perfect neighborhood for you if you want to be in close proximity to the office the party scene while still having that peace and quiet and if you have a condo here you get to take advantage of this walkway it's great for walking your dogs taking your kids for a lap around or just kind of finding some peace after your hectic day don't say don't say that just just point it at me where the sky Ence [Music] water is so [Music] clean you can see all the way to the you can see all the way to the bottom here the water is so clean B [Music] [Music] for [Music] [Music] for fore foreign spe sh [Music] [Music] for for [Music] [Music] [Music] this is the back side of the W Hotel and icon Brickle you have this beautiful River Walk with restaurants and outdoor dining [Music] [Music] spee speech [Music] for speech speech spee for [Music] [Music] [Music] now this this walking path goes around the entire Island I mean this place is honestly just like a Utopia that's really the only way I could explain it everything is so perfect uh the Landscaping is manicured to a tea it's extremely safe and everything is so clean spe for e [Music] what's not wrong with [Music] V for [Music] the [Music] [Music] [Music] I don't get me okay we'll head back to the main bridge now what green it was just a little too windy as we crossed there but here you can get some perspective of some of the condos that are here foreign spee for e [Music] it's beagle here's another look at some of the condos here now just imagine being out on those balconies and looking at the views of downtown Miami you really need to Envision this at night I mean at night time it's really something else fore spee speech extends all the way down here too now check out the outdoor patio and dining overlooking all of brickl and downtown Miami really just an astonishing astonishing View for I went to high school the kids
