hey I'm Jesse behind the camera as well and today we've got Sega and together we are top jaw shooting 48 hours in Dublin Dublin nope of Guinness may not like doing research we haven't this isn't like our normal 48 hour in guides we've had no planning and we've got no phones so if you live for comprehension guide although we're going to do our best with absolutely zero plan you're going to go from person to person recommendation to recommendation to build a truly organic and local guide to Dublin completely no tech need to knock that takeaway it's now it's time to get lost in Dublin we're staying at the Dean hotel booked because our Irish friend Jack told us that's where he booked so he booked it on the plane amazing this is a great little set up here if I want so much cheese midnight in the midnight I'll call my hair gobble gobble gobble back to sleep take our pick off door disturb [Music] Bruno so I've named that much more manly than Jesse can't help out my dad breather here is little less a place of its night we have a couple of meetin points we've got dinner at mr. X a hot day and they were Miller meeting Rob Dickinson axe pmax at seven o'clock we're back in nice night - no we don't have a phone so we just hope that he's gonna be there at 7 p.m. I'm excited as well well [Music] I think we're good just playback going this way mate sounds a bit very illuminated bus we've got less we've got back almost 20 but it's it's doing me a wrong Vmax and no way of telling you that it's in the lake so sipping on gili may that is as fresh as daisies told you it's like it's the bridge between food and beer yeah this is a bluff our Irish Cruiser proper Irish pub it's been for ages but you spear pop on that old man's puppet so about four years ago new people took it over the rebound the place and now it is a home for everyone and live music seven nights a week t-minus five minutes until we're meeting Robert P max how long did it take so much P max there's no ETA on a map right it doesn't tell you how long it takes to water thank you right just seven o'clock we're meeting Robert P max right now I think through there will ya this is the Museum of Irish literature judge bro Matt and then there's not its office bloated bouquet divorcing and they were all really left yeah I'm not Lydia look look look look look look look look look look skin really well we're here finally this makes a lot more sense we are 25 minutes late to meet Rob but he is not here but either way we don't have a phone so we're gonna pop up with a Guinness and if you guess he gets it [Music] all right everybody this is our pal Rob fellow filmmaker and now lives in Dublin so he's gonna be our tour guide for this evening which is Rob rule by be in there my RMP max well the guys who work said it was a good place to go so top quality top your content we're not here for the yoga or the veggie burgers we're here for flame guild guild we're not here for the yoga all the veggie meets thank you neat we're hip to yoga or the veggie burgers now we're in for some flame-grilled goodness at mr. going to sleep in these hotels will rigs up all this charge you stuff while you just sleep peacefully we just leave in the hotel but we saw the sunlight coming through from the floor above we thought you got there for coffee this is Sophie's or the top floor of the Dean hotel these sort of views mate it's pretty amazing you up here especially when the sun's out got an iPhone though so let's go in just sort of like enjoy life be present such a good time [Music] Oh Elsa stephen's green again we don't go right this time over this place at the cording you say gar ZAR girl and this hair 11 we did not make it there last night but we have heard the poor mighty fine Gillis which by the way is we've been delivered now no this is well it's the Irish milkman you say ready but I never really hear any response half isn't just no turn to we're spelling cafe it means open hands Arabic there and Kara here have been kind enough to give us brother Hubbard hog and lemon jelly but brother Hubbard seems to be the one takes a fancy yeah maybe the best you know [Music] it's been quite a lot of people that say oh you need to get a temple bar so much say they were like wow this bar must be really good turns out Temple Bar is like an area and we're just about five temple bars although that one over there is called the temple bar established in the mid 1800s that feels kind of original to me cracking facts about Dublin do you know any facts about Dublin no brother Hubbard Sarah recommended to us over in CAF now we're here a guy from Garret FitzGerald quit his office life like I've done with this and won't explore food when travelling spend a lot of time the Middle East and loves all the suits and bazaars out there and then found Middle Eastern food to be delicious yeah actually really quite healthy came back to Dublin opened up a little cafe in 2012 on Capitol Street cooking Irish food with the Middle Eastern influence and twist hurry up this is their full Irish breakfast but some black pudding we've got some maple syrup glazed bacon or some beans that look very middle-eastern this is beaut a ste is there Bubba betta a couple of poached eggs with some baba ghanoush crispy french toast softly inside rhubarb almonds a bit of honeycomb [Music] next up one that we've heard a lot about it's not come from a direct recommendation here but as soon as you mentioned to anybody that are going to Dublin they were like well you gotta get a Bunsen burner it's about getting off a midday I think it's Burger Time a Bunsen burner from brunch time to Burger Time we're here at Bunsen burger although it is now the afternoon so we can have a beer first Bunsen in Ireland is now eight I think mostly in Dublin one in Belfast and one in Barcelona it's a bit different Tom Gliss and the founder was get a bit bored with all these like toppings luluwa piling out burgers he wants to make a burger where it's just the burgers just to cut the meat it's all about the quality of the burger itself so much so that's this right here is their menu that no caramelized onions or anything is overpowering flavor you get from that which is brilliant base you don't have a look at that that hotel bar first just up here the Camden [Music] we're looking the magazine on the flight earlier to be honest I didn't really speak with every the workout but no Raven magazine into the Camden one the mezzanine level but that right there is the biggest indoor screen in Europe 7.2 meters of sport display this place has got more screens than I have mates five lamps great Dublin beer brewed here on site so legend has it the Grogan's little honesty we call a pub serves the best get it to Dublin so hang on best give it in the world is served Dublin but the best Guinness said Dublin is a Grove is apparently Grogan's is an institution it has been here for decades two owners died yesterday this is a bit sad he was a complete legend who Thomas Smith not made-up name all the are that you see in the pub he allowed people he allowed artists just to pull it up and sell it if anyone bought one you never took a cart that money belongs to the artist stand upload tip to be the absolute best pilot units in Dublin you can park up here injury for hours or years like some of the clientele I know there's a lot of gray hair in here however it's a very welcoming very accommodating pub for everyone as long as you enjoy a nice crispy boy well jacket it's Taco Time yes general Tosta tacos so here what wouldn't you got a new pace around town to play from ulta pre-kill very new yeah Harper small plates real 2x3 hard good table though oh really we met Shane Shane is one of the owners here at masa his business partners are the guys that own Bunsen burger where went earlier which is amazing so they make all their tacos all their tortillas on site every day nice and fresh fried fish taco a black bean quesadilla our chicken tacos and our pork tacos big thanks to committer a bison burger for this recommendation takos away cotton boys get stuck into these kids right that's killer love that I could put one two three nine away loads just like shove Minh Shane games lesser places on our map and we know where to go to not matter where we go older now cool [Music] dr. alter and they were like no guys sorry like we're just forced and we're very full for a while so back at the old drawing board oh we're in Madden don't know why the eggs are mad no that's good disorientating flap your film is gets larry well i can't talk so there we go fried chicken irish hens 48 hours in t brine so like sitting in for 48 hours then in their buttermilk mixture then fry to create or they say is the best fried chicken you ever that's a bold statement obviously we've been eating a lot of food you've seen that and we're still gonna keep eating it is so crispy so tender yet not slimy one big sweet salty that was really up there with the best project I had last night where we were in mr. s we were chatting - Jenni Bernie and Dave Jenni and Bernie would like you you gotta go to sprezzatura and we've been on the waiting list for about an hour and 20 and we're still not hungry because you've just eaten chicken let's go away [Applause] duck and have hot pockets Duncan hands completely pulls apart as good we have my numero uno my favorite ever pasta parpadelle and fennel sausage ragu and so full so many other lovely manager is giving us here we have chocolate mousse will how much you love chocolate and this is popcorn panna cotta panna cotta Mayo popcorn then salted caramel sweet Pablo on top would you like that there is that layer thing yeah yeah you would this place is all about waste as little waste as possible one of the ways they do that serving everything in glass is all from these taps so there's Prosecco on tap beer on tap wine on tap and espresso martini on tap check it out [Music] [Applause] over there since stephen's green it seemed like a lot of dublin you keep going around this since stephen's green lot you've come just above the stephen's green to parry wig and cradles this is like a final stop tonight I guess Peru and para wig it's a cool bar kind of old-school pad slightly on the ground floor and then it's got two stories of plastic opulent gorgeous speakeasy cocktail bar lengthy menus and every single cocktails named after a song as sago works out after reading about 40 of them put the lime in the coconut please I feel like it thank you hot if I could eat as having trouble with a menu it made top to initiation you have to eat a lime on fire yeah really enjoying having no phones how good's it will I'm quite used to that as well we're gonna right giggling in the Torah in us but great all day small right where's the mirror way we are done do you and as a full day what time is it now half midnight it's we've gone from am dark midnight not a bad day not a bad day I think we hit it a little bit hard last night lot less Terry talking booze wise just kind of visual heists there was so much noise and that waters I've come from his bathroom I looked at my watch I was like look like it was nine ever slept then after a while realize it wasn't mine it was 3:00 a.m. and we'll was just chucking his absolute guts up and toilet he's had a pretty rough night I think I love talk to you Albert yeah I read get the bear you sometimes before we came out will did actually have been research Kent's quite quiet for me and we found a place a we will found a place that was kill up a branch called all these bunch homes kind of reminiscent what we know but all with Argentinian twist so we can refer to Alma's poached eggs with cherry pie large Gento and dulce de leche pancakes which look majestic as hell isn't the Choi Bona gent oh you got argentinian chorizo this is their helmets poached eggs really Argentinian avocado toast poached eggs with sauteed garlic mushrooms that a homemade Dolce de leche takes about six hours to make with almonds through mate that's one thing they love in Argentina that's dojin edge a big on it let's have to kill our traditional brunch food but with a complete argentinian twist that is heightening that flavor level to a whole new dimension all right home time like steak [Music] that's good fun wasn't it lads having no phones was great not having GPS or be able to looking me up a bit tough at times but generally having no social media meant for a lot more enjoyable and less stressful time running agreed we went from recommendation to recommendation who tries to do as much as we can in the time that we had no Dublin World you're thinking don't blame us blame the recommendations we got from person to person we absolutely loved it yeah [ __ ] world's little 3:00 a.m. sesh thank you very much everybody we've met on this trip that's made it as good as it's been they got Church nice Jana we met earlier and her sisters and dad Maria from last night Bruno with this dodgy directions Rob on the first day yeah big things that everybody's giving us free pints of Guinness on the way who has so much Guinness in the past 48 hours we're trying new formats this year we will keep doing these 48 hours in but we want some other ideas what some other she asked awesome treatments that we could get ourselves stuck into and trial on this channel so if you have an idea of what we should do please leave it in the
