what is up what's going on everybody how you guys doing uh oh server closed of course right when we go live uh how's my back it's doing a little better than it was a couple days ago um i have a game plan for tonight so i'm gonna be i'm gonna be trying to like every 30 minutes or so uh standing up and then 30 minutes later sitting down so you guys try to i might be in a match or something we'll wait till the end of the match to do it but i'm going to try to do a lot of up and down to make sure it doesn't get tight but uh i was really good today i was able to to kind of use that up and down cadence to to be okay it's okay i mean it's not great it's not great but i'm not in any pain right now or anything so uh we're good we're good but thanks for asking uh basically what happened is i i sprained a ligament that is between my spine and my hip uh so i was like working out doing a lot of core twisting and stuff and uh and then i sat down for a work meeting and and then i went and i reached for something and it just kind of like sprained and when it sprained because it was attached to my hip the other side of my hip like pulled my hip like that so my hips are like totally crooked my body's like a like an s almost uh so it was pretty bad it was pretty bad um but i've been going to chiropractor they've been they've been pushing on it getting it back into place i've been i've been resting a lot of rest a lot of ice a lot of you know alternating ice and heat uh and today i went to the chiropractor again and it felt pretty good so i gave it a go and been sitting in my chair a little bit today been standing up a little bit today it's good uh it's it's better but it's definitely still a little tight so we'll see if it gets bad you know maybe i'll have to bounce out of the stream early but hopefully not but anyway yeah the going up and down it's been all right so far so i was able to get the hermitcraft episode done which was something i really wanted to do it's been 10 days uh one it was an episode i knew was gonna take me at least a week and then that happened and i was like oh i was crushed i wanted to get it done i was so close i know see that's what happens i turned 40 years old and i feel like a 40 year old all of a sudden no i just i i was over doing it maybe with the workouts i've been i've been a little bit out of sorts with my with my back for a while now and i really should have went and saw a chiropractor like in january probably but i was a little nervous because you know pandemic and whatnot so anyway now i didn't have much choice uh anyway let's say some thank you so we can get into the game we're gonna start off with skeld and then we're gonna get into the new map we just want to warm up with skel because it's been a couple weeks and oh they messed up oh my gosh it is getting late i think this is our last round but i am super excited we got a new hermitcraft coming out in the morning that i worked super super hard on where oh and thank you let's recap let's recap real quick so oh okay new map they worked seriously hard on it obviously what are our final thoughts on this new map after playing it for three hours four hours it's a beautiful map dude there's no question it's just i i struggle with these other maps that aren't scaled this one is just really tough for me you know it yeah there's definitely some very rough um tasks in there like like the uh maze breaker switch thing the breaker switch and the electrical was tough yeah i think the tasks are great i just don't like the map because it's just too big was awesome yeah i mean if we if we wanted we could i think those are the long tasks we could take that out and add more short tasks or a common task but that's just a thought for for next year i will say this if i could give some feedback to the developers the one and only thing i would change is that the hoverboard thing if it's not near you you should be able to call it back yeah agreed i think that defeats the i felt like they could have cut this map they could have cut this map in half and had two new man that would have been good it could have taken out the whole time thanks for your follow yeah the design is great it was weird that thank you of all the maps to not have an admin table they picked this one uh that's all the way in the top though is there one meeting room it's in a meeting room right that's the one you're talking about yeah there is it's got a button all the way up in the top like you can see where people are oh no there is there is one i don't know it's one of those yeah it's in the cockpit oh oh really okay yeah i take it back that's not a bad spot then okay it was just too big for ten people i hate that the lower right part of the map it is there's like only one way to get in there yeah that whole like the showers doesn't connect to the cargo bay that yeah seems weird to me like why'd they leave that open i'm also curious to if uh if the modded rolls would make that map even more interesting oh god oh my god i only imagine the amount of gesturing on that one yeah we had a few we had a few ad hoc gestures tonight so you know that was the thing tonight yeah yeah i i think it was designed for 15 people yeah you know yeah after that yeah yeah maybe that's really hard to catch people on location like [Laughter] on me again i love the new tasks i did love that that's fantastic they're great but i missed so many i heard i heard the uh safe one is really hard i never came across it it's it's not hard if you know how to do a combo lock you don't want to i got the safe one when i was an imposter as a fake desk so i didn't get to do it oh i hear you guys safe one three times and two times it was super easy the third time i went to do it it like every time i would go it would the other number was really close and it wouldn't trigger for me for whatever reason they would decide to undo what i did i'm like ugh the memory game one is brutal memory because i didn't even see that one i didn't see that either yeah i didn't have to do that one you have to yeah remember and walk across the gap which takes forever yeah oh i didn't get that one either diamond yeah there was so many tests i didn't get tonight so many tasks wow i think that hamburger one's pretty easy but a lot of you guys kept messing it up they made me use onions on my burger i did not like it yeah yeah i had a burger that was just lettuce and tomato what that's not a burger that's almost the same blt minus the b all right regardless it was it was it was still excited to finally play the airship map and i think a lot of the feedback that i've been seeing and that i think we felt tonight was for a 10 person team the map's a little big leans a little bit more towards imposters to win and uh but i don't know i mean if we look at the stats for tonight maybe maybe it didn't maybe we were a bit even it was just it felt a lot harder to be strategic about you know the only way we're going to win is if we actually saw somebody uh you know vent or kill somebody or whatever but um the new tasks the new tasks are super cool uh yeah this is the first chance i get to actually talk to you guys we've been we've been in game with everybody so i haven't really been able to talk to you guys tonight much if you're just tuning in wondering what's going on i two days ago it was wednesday wednesday morning i got up i worked out as usual 6am i've been working out at 6am almost every day of the week it was a heavy core every core workout on one that i hadn't done before where it was a lot of twisting of the core um i have a tonal so it's it's basically like pulley system and it was a lot of like twisting and pulling to the side and that activated some i guess back muscles that i hadn't really activated in a long time and they tightened up on me after the workout i didn't stretch i worked out i had to go straight to a work meeting before i had a chance to like properly stretch which i typically do after a workout i'll spend 15 minutes at least stretching everything out after a workout and so i didn't have a chance to stretch so the muscles kind of tightened up on me i went to a work meeting they wanted the our webcams on and i mean this is kind of the funny part of the story they wanted our webcams on so i took one of my webcams i put it in a in a spot in my office uh that was facing not all my production stuff so because my work doesn't know that i do the youtube stuff so i didn't really want them seeing my green screen and my key lights and my go xlr and all that stuff uh so i had to basically sit in this like weird awkward like i'm over i'm leaning over my desk in order for the camera to see me centered i was sitting kind of weird awkwardly for the 30 minutes after this workout which tightened everything up in my back when the meeting got over and uh i i left i went to just grab something and it was literally just like a turn in reach and i reached and i twisted and something just kind of like snapped i i didn't like hear a snap but i felt it you know and it was like pain radiated down my leg and what that was was actually spraying this tendon in that's connected to my spine to my hip and that tendon basically sprained and because of that sprain it got weak other tendons on the other side made up for it and pulled and so my spine basically or my my hips basically like went whoop and i just my whole body kind of like went like a like an s shape so it's almost like if i'm standing looking in a mirror it looks like i have like kind of one leg longer than another because my hips are like uneven and yeah yeah it didn't feel great the wednesday when i did it i i couldn't like stand up straight uh i was like walking around the house hunched over you know like i needed a cane and it was it was pretty bad so i spent the day on the couch and then the next day i i got to a chiropractor barely uh thanks to 800 milligrams of ibuprofen i was able to get to a chiropractor and they were like yep you're in bad shape uh we are going to be best friends basically the chiropractor was like you're going to be seeing me a lot in the next four to six weeks so uh anyway i've i went in they they kind of like pushed my hip back into place and they're like look it's a sprain sprains take four to six weeks uh best you know we just need to take care of it make sure you're not doing anything to to make it worse and ice you know i was i was doing heating mostly but he said ice mostly ice and then rotate some heat on it so i've been doing that last couple days went in again today every day is getting a little bit better today i finally was able to sit at my desk and stand uh you saw me during the stream hopefully if you've been here the whole time kind of like doing a sit and stand thing i'm going after the stream i'm going to go ice it for 15 minutes 15 minutes off and then heat for 15 minutes and then i'll probably go to sleep uh but it's yeah it's it's all right you know it happens uh it the thing that sucks the most about it is i've been working out every day and finally feeling like working out has um just helped with my overall mood you know there's a lot of like mental health things that the the working out has helped with and so not being able to do that the last couple days has sucked and laying on the couch just trying to heal is not something i'm good at i'm maybe a workaholic so i hated that i really hated sitting on the like laying on the couch and not getting anything done productively but you got to take care of your body first right so anyway cairo isn't scientifically proven it can damage your back hope you get better yeah i mean i the so far it's helped uh so far it's helped so i i you know they are a doctor i'm hoping they're doing the best thing for me but impulsive workaholic i would have never guessed yeah no it's been rough it's been rough i've i almost tweeted a few times like i can't stand this being on the couch not getting stuff done [Laughter] so anyway uh i should be fine you know it's getting better day to day and i'm doing everything they're saying to do i'm stretching i'm you know walking i'm icing i'm resting you know maybe tonight's as much as sitting as we did could have been bad but yeah it's pretty common he did say it's pretty common so the good news is i think i had an issue before this happened and i was ignoring it so this is going to force me to kind of address it so anyway we should be good so i won't be playing rocket league tonight i'm sorry i you know usually we wrap the night up with some rocket league and but i think i really do should go focus on taking care of my back because i want to be able to continue to to be you know to be good to to not have to worry about this and to be able to continue making content and stuff i don't want to be i don't want to hurt myself in a way that i'm not going to be able to produce videos or be at my desk and do stuff for for longer than the last couple days so anyway it was fun it was fun i was glad i was able to do this tonight so anyway thanks for hanging out guys uh we should find somebody to raid i don't know if anybody's still streaming thanks for hanging out and listening to my my story um okay who should we raid tonight i'm open for suggestions i mean obviously i i have i have people on my list that i could raid brody's having cat time what does that even mean brody's still going is he going to be up for a while donut king is
