Well, nearly 40% of people across the United States, they are living with unhealthy air pollution. That is according to a new report out today from the American Lung Association. So researchers, they analyzed EPA data on air quality throughout the United States. The group listed extreme heat drought and wildfires among factors that have contributed to a rise in deadly air pollution. The American Lung Association gave us counties grades for ozone and two measures of particle pollution. Checking the immediate Atlanta Metro Cobb and Gwinnett counties, they were graded B for ozone while dekalb and Fulton, they scored ac no data was available for Clayton County in terms of particle pollution. Clayton Cobb and Fulton counties, they got an A grade and dekalb and Gwinnett counties were graded B.
