40 GREAT Cars You Can Buy For Less Than $10k!!

ladies and gentlemen boys and girls it is time we are going to do the top 40 best sports cars that you can buy for less than ten thousand dollars some of most of these actually you can find for under five thousand dollars as well uh but I do want to say I'm not saying that all these cars are good like first cars for high schoolers I know a lot of you guys are high schoolers so I'm not saying these are all like great practical cars you should buy for high school they're just 40 sports cars that you could buy for under ten thousand dollars and the reason why I'm doing this is because you guys actually use Sons of Guns got me to 40 000 subscribers so in order to thank you for 40 000 subscribers we're gonna do 40 sports cards out of 10K isn't that crazy how that works guys that's why child but the the clips for these cars gonna be very short I'm gonna go running through them very quickly because we have 40 to go through so just bear with me here but let's get into it all right so coming in at the number 40 spot is going to be the Volvo 240 weird little Quincy dink there this car has a damn cult following so I know people are going to be mad at this number 40 but hear me out folks it only comes with a 2.3 liter inline 4 making 114 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive and now these are an insane platform for like drifting out of the gate like some cheap drift cars but if you want something with like true power it's not the best choice they are very reliable though and if you have a thing for grandmas then here you go number 39 is going to the Mazda RX8 a car that's kind of blowing up pun intended because they blow up recently and I don't know how I feel about it to be honest it comes with a pretty weird ass 1.3 liter two rotor rotary engine making a nice 212 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and now here's the thing these do look pretty cool I will give you that but the problem is they are very unreliable I know someone will say you just need to learn a bit more maintenance but that makes it unreliable I'm sorry to tell you like someone's gonna be like oh just takes a little bit more maintenance that's unreliable number 38 is going to the first hatchback of the list of all Volkswagen GTI mark IV one of my favorite front-wheel drive cars ever personally and I am usually not a fan of gtis at all but this one is just so good for its price they come with a 1.8 liter turbocharged inline form making 170 horsepower going to the front wheels and they are an amazing platform to build and all that but please be careful when picking one up because it seems like the owners have an IQ of like four since they're always so clapped out so just be careful if you do go pick one of them number 37 is going to the second generation Cadillac Escalade which yes I know is not technically a sports car but it's an Enthusiast car and it can be fun as all hell if you're smart Okay and it can be more fun than a sports car buddy they come with a 5.3 liter V8 making 285 horsepower and it was 4x4 of course and they're literally one of the most luxurious Vehicles you can buy under ten thousand dollars while being able to go anywhere you want and with anyone you want to it's just an absolute no-brainer for somebody that like needs a daily and live somewhere where it's you got a lot of back roads and stuff number 36 is going to the Scion tC second generation I just made a whole deep dive video on this car and they are kind of underrated in my opinion they are not fast so I want to make that very clear they only come with a Camry motor which is a 2.5 liter inline 4 making 180 horsepower and it was front wheel drive and this car is just incredibly good for the person who wants a daily driver but still wants to look cool don't try and turn this thing into like a race car because it's not gonna like that just daily it and be happy number 35 is going to the Lexus LS 400 which is kind of like the Scion tC in a way except it's much older and doesn't look that cool to a normal person huge Grandma Slayer though again it comes with a 4 liter V8 making 270 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive and that is impressive stuff but first off it was automatic only which is boring second it was heavy as hell which kind of sucks and third they look like a boring old sedan stock so it's definitely no race cars just an incredibly reliable 90s sedan number 34 now baby and we are going back to Germany for the first of many BMWs on this list the BMW 635 CSI e24 which pays me to put it all the way down here since they look absolutely incredible but it makes sense it comes with a 2.8 liter inline 6 making 282 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive and that is incredible for when this car was made but the problem is the one that you will find under 10 000 is going to need lots of love and probably be horribly unreliable next up at number 33 is the damn Honda CRX a cool little hatchback Honda that has the whole world in front of it for tuning which makes me so darn happy it comes with a pretty small 1.6 liter inline 4 making only 120 horsepower and it was front-wheel drive but now here's the thing Hondas are usually incredible but almost every single CRX has been modded now so it's kind of hard to find a clean example and buying somebody else's project is always a nightmare so it's a sketchy buy for sure but if you could find like a pretty much stock one for under 10 grand good choice number 32 is going to the Ford Focus ST though a car that gets so much love and I still to this day can't figure out why I don't know it comes with a 2-liter turbocharged inline 4 taking 252 horsepower and it was front wheel drive and sure that's pretty quick out of the gate but they are a hatchback so they're quite heavy and they don't have the best aerodynamics they do look pretty good though when you like slam them on the ground I'll give you that but in terms of like power potential not the best on this list 31st is going to the world's most loved car right now but I personally think it's pretty overrated the Mazda Miata na which yes is still very slow people don't let Tick Tock fool you they come with a 1.8 liter inline four making only 135 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive and the problem is the fact that they usually like Hondas for example are light and can be tuned to like 500 horsepower well the Miata is light too but it can't be tuned that high it's an amazing little autocross weapon if that's your thing and you could swap the motor for sure but it's like with the stock motor not that much power potential barely breaking its way into the top 30 is the Ford Ranger my boy another very cult following type of car and for good reason they are reliable little over Landing monsters they come with a 4 liter V6 making 206 7 horsepower and it was 4x4 or rear wheel drive actually so this is a good Contender for a drift truck and I honestly have nothing bad to say about the Ford Ranger other than the fact that they are very small trucks I can't really do like big truck things but it's a mini truck what do you expect number 29 however is going to an incredibly like confusing car to be honest the Lexus is-250 which some people love and some people hate and to be honest I have no idea where I stand on them yet I haven't made up my mind either way though they come with a 2.5 liter V6 making only 204 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive you get to pick but you better pick the rear-wheel drive one and they are usually modded so horribly like I like the car don't get me wrong but the way people modify the is-250s makes me not like the car so much more number 28 though is a car that I do love but I'm scared of because people on the internet tell me that I should be scared of it it's the Toyota MR2 sw20 it's probably the most like confusing Toyota model to date and it comes with a 2.2 liter inline 4 making only 130 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive but the interesting part is it was also mid-engined which calls for a pretty bad combo when you go into corners and they call that snap oversteer which some people say you can manage and others say it's a death wish so just be careful if you do get one next stop at number 27 however is going to be the BMW Z3 which is massively underrated in just a better Miata in my personal opinion they come with a 3-liter inline 6 making 228 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and still incredibly lightweight like the Miata that we just talked about but this one had much more power and a much better engine to tune since it's a BMW and every BMW can make very good power for cheap I heard they do suck to drive though if you're like a tall gentleman so be wary of that but honestly I said it in Miata and it's not that bad now what the number 26 spot is going to be the Subaru Forester second generation which is kind of incredible for almost anybody out there except for people who want to look cool when driving their car it comes with a 2.4 liter flat 4 making only 165 horsepower and it was all-wheel drive the thing about it is it can literally do it all like even drifting is easy in this car since a rear wheel drive swap is so simple in a Subaru they also can go off-road wherever you want they have plenty of room for your friends they're very reliable as long as you don't turbo it it's a good car number 25 though is kind of the opposite of that it is the Porsche 944 which is the only Porsche on this list they are just so damn expensive all the time but either way this one comes with an incredible 3 liter inline 4 making a nice 211 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and these cars are kind of getting hyped up a lot recently and they deserve it some people don't like the looks of them but I personally do and they handle like an absolute dream since they are still a poor stick people always forget that yes it may be cheap but it still has Porsche engineering behind it number 24 is going to a borderline Supercar for its time the Jaguar XKR which is the Pinnacle of luxury and speed while looking good and being incredibly unreliable you have to love British cars it comes with a 4.2 liter V8 making 390 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive if that doesn't freaking seal the deal on one of these cars right now that I don't know what will they do look like a cat fat they got a catfish a catfish by the way I just wanted to point that out but that's not important it's fast number 23 is going to the Mitsubishi 3000 GT a car that you guys seem to love so much which is very cool to see because they're kind of slipped on but either way they're a very good car they come with a 3 liter V6 making 161 horsepower and it was front-wheel drive sadly but that's okay for people like you and me because it looks cool and that's all that matters to us right right that's why I tell myself whenever a car's front wheel drive anyway this thing has tons of futuristic ass technology on it and I think it's an amazing choice but just be careful when working on it I heard it's a nightmare thing number 21 however is going to a car with no luxury whatsoever the Mazda RX7 FC which stands for freaking cool yes sir this thing makes no sense why they're so expensive but for some reason I still want one so bad they come with a 1.3 liter two rotor rotary engine making only 160 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive and in case you don't know that rotary engine you know has a little thing called Apex seals that those Apex seals might go bye-bye then the engine might go kablooey and who doesn't love that it's a great car I need one just barely squeezing its sexy head into the number 20 spot is going to be the Lexus SC400 which I mean come ah man what did you expect this thing is one of my most favorite cars out there you knew it was going to be here all right it comes with a 4-liter V8 making 270 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and this is pretty much a good looking sportier LS400 for the same price so it's a no-brainer to pick one up it's incredibly reliable good looking rear-wheel drive beauty of a machine number 19 however is going to the Nissan 300ZX z32 which is arguably one of the most beautiful JDM car to ever exist period so I love it for that but sadly that's about where it stops the car comes with a 3 liter V6 making only 222 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive but the interior is massively outdated the engine bay is a nightmare to work on but not that reliable and all the ones that you're going to buy nowadays are in pissport condition if you do want to tackle one of these have fun and please let me ride in it when it's done because I don't want to tackle it myself number 18 is going to another Japanese car because we're just on a roll here it is a Subaru WRX Hawkeye which is good for sure but has some flaws as well that makes it very sketchy it comes with a 2.5 liter turbocharged flat 4 making 225 horsepower and it was all-wheel drive and it's Subi's all-wheel drive so you know it's very good the huge problem though is these things are unreliable and since so many people buy these and beat them up it's so sketchy buying one everybody that buys a freaking WRX is like oh you know what I want to do up the Boost and it just blows it up number 17 is going to the wonderful Nissan 240SX S14 yes you can still find an S14 under ten thousand dollars and yes it is still an amazing deal my friend don't sleep on it they come with a very small 2.4 liter inline four that only makes 144 horsepower but who cares man look how cool it is and it's rear wheel drive so you can drift it and people will think you're cool if you don't want to drift it though don't buy this there are literally only good drift cars they're not worth the money in anything else besides scripting number 16 we are finally breaking out of the JDM world for a second to talk about the Ford F250 Super Duty I'm not a huge truck guy but from what I can tell this is the best bargain deal for like a diesel full-size truck it comes with a six liter turbo diesel V8 making a nice 325 horsepower and it was 4x4 but remember this is a truck so 324 325 my bad horsepower is nothing really they are not fast but they are an incredible tool the only thing I see is I see a lot of people like saying they need to be bulletproofed which does not sound like a good thing at all number 15 is going to this sexy ass underrated ass Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX 2G my friend this thing is just so good for literally anyone buddy and everybody uh but everybody just overlooks it for no reason they came with a two liter turbocharged inline four making 210 horsepower and it was all-wheel drive and in case you were wondering if that motor is any good I don't know you tell me do you think the EVO motor was good well it's the same damn thing so yeah it's really good buddy number 14 is going to the Mazda Mazda Speed 3 yes you have to say it that way it's one of the best hatchbacks out there in my opinion and I'm not a hatchback fan at all but I do love this one a lot it comes with a 2.3 liter turbocharged inline four making 263 horsepower and it was front-wheel drive and that's pretty damn good horsepower for a hatchback my friend but the cool thing is they only came in manual so you can rip this thing around and people are going to know that you were a car guy also the engine is pretty good for making power too if you want to modify it number 13 is going to the Lexus IS300 which is kind of like ridiculously overpriced right now but we don't need to talk about that they are still a very good choice just not as good as they used to be when you could buy a manual IS300 under 5K do you remember those days freaking was amazing anyway they came with a three liter inline six making 225 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and that motor is a naturally aspirated 2JZ so you know you're gonna make some big Power my boy but it's not as much as a turbocharged 2JZ can handle so don't get too excited it can handle like around 600 horsepower which is still good number 12 is going to the gosh darn BMW 330ci E46 which in my opinion is one of the best budget-friendly sports cars out there for under five thousand dollars under ten thousand dollars though they just kind of barely miss out of the top 10 spot they're just incredible though they came with a 3 liter inline six making 225 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive these things are literally better than the E36 in every way possible and they cost right around the same it is a no-brainer to buy one right now but everybody's all like oh we should buy d36 buying E46 barely missing out of the top 10 spot at the number 11 spot is going to be the Hyundai Genesis Coupe we all know how much I love this car on this channel and it just keeps getting better man they're just growing on me they come with a 2-liter turbocharged inline four making 290 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and they look good have a good interior pretty reliable handle well and our rear wheel drive but sadly get ready for the bad news they kind of suck at making power it's hard to build a Genesis Coupe to make any real power which is sad alright so now we're into the top 10 and the way we are doing this is each one of these cars in the top 10 is the best in their certain class so there's one for everybody and number 10 is the Jeep Wrangler TJ which is the best for over Landing or off-road guys uh it comes with a 4-liter inline 6 making 170 horsepower and it was 4x4 but obviously the power doesn't matter if you're going for an off-road build they just go wherever you want them to go and you can't be beat for it also they have tons of aftermarket support one of the most in the world to be honest number nine is going to be literally any street bike which is the best for the people who literally just want to go as fast as possible and do not care about the car itself and do not care about safety they just want to go fast these bikes are all different but for under ten thousand dollars you can get a 1000 cc motorcycle that makes around 150 to 200 horsepower which will give you a top speed that is so ridiculous that you're going to be scared to freaking ride the thing I have to say though since most of you guys are around my age or younger please be careful alright everybody watching this video cares about you so please be careful if you buy one number eight is going to the Volkswagen GTI Mark 6 which is in my opinion the best Hatchback for less than ten thousand dollars right now and that's saying something because I usually don't like the uh Volkswagens I still don't actually really like Volkswagens that much but this one is a good deal for under 10k it comes with a 2-liter turbocharged in line four making 208 horsepower and it was front-wheel drive and the one thing I will say is for the price they aren't fast at all but modifying them can make them much much faster and they are just a great great daily driver to have number seven is going to the Infiniti G37 not didn't plan that Coupe which is the best in my opinion for the guy who just wants to look like they're successful I'm not going to judge you man we all like to fake it till we make it a little bit so this is for you they come with a 3.7 liter V6 making 330 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive and that motor is the same that's actually found in the 370Z but this car is much much cheaper so it's honestly such a bargain right now be careful again though when buying one because people do like to beat these things up a lot number six is going to the Honda Accord Coupe 8th generation station which is just an incredibly underrated car by the way but these cars are the best for the people who need a daily driver but still want to look cool they come with a 3.5 liter V6 making 268 horsepower and it was front-wheel drive and they have that wonderful Honda reliability behind them but in a body that looks very sporty while still having decent room that's like just a amazing daily driver if you need more space for like different people buy the eighth gen sedan number five yes we are into the top five already I know time flies right anyways it's a damn Ford Mustang GT s197 which is the best for drag racing in my opinion if you just want something to go fast in a straight line this is a great option but there's one more on this list that's honestly equally as good we'll get into that later though this car comes with a 5 liter V8 making a nice 412 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and that 5-0 is incredible for making some decent power doesn't quite beat the ls yet but it's very very close and everything else about the car is incredible too number four however is going to the Acura RSX Type S which is in my opinion the the best track weapon that you could buy right now under 10k people sleep on the little RSX all the damn time and they pay the price for it all right the car comes with a 2-liter inline four making 201 horsepower and it was front-wheel drive and that engine is actually a k-series Honda motor which is notorious for making just incredible power they also handle like a dream it was once the fastest front-wheel drive car around the track ever actually so have a ball on the track with your budget Honda build third place though is a little bit biased I will happily admit it but it's the Nissan 350Z which is my car so you know it's a good car and it's the best for Drifters and since most of the community loves drifting about now that's a pretty good title to have it comes with a 3.5 liter V6 making 306 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and literally out of the gate they are ready to slide since they have a limited slip differential their rear wheel drive plenty of power manual transmission perfect cartilage to slide but there are also tons of drift mods available for you if you get bored also the PQ is a very good motor don't let people lie to you second place however is going to the Chevy Corvette C5 which is the other car that Rivals the Mustang in terms of drag racing but I actually picked this for the best street car which is very important since all of us build street cars nowadays let's be honest uh this car comes with a 5.7 liter V8 making 350 horsepower and it was rear-wheel drive and that engine is an LS engine Sun so you know you can get tons of more horsepower out of it reliably and they look incredible in my opinion and most importantly they can handle like a dream too which is necessary if you're driving a street car obviously it's also very good for gas mileage for a V8 to be honest first place though we have finally made it to the top of the list and yes your eyes don't deceive you it is the BMW 335i e9x generation which in my personal unbiased opinion is the best all-around sports car for less than ten thousand dollars as of 2022 they are just very good in almost everything they do okay they come with a 3 liter twin turbocharged inline six making 300 horsepower and it was rear wheel drive or all-wheel drive and they called that engine the n54 which in case you don't know kind of makes a stupid amount of power if you swap the two turbos out for one gargantuan one on top of having a very good engine to build they are luxurious as hell they have a decent amount of room a very good drift car they can be a daily if you don't modify it too much and go with the all-wheel drive one they handle very well and have tons of aftermarket support while looking very good as well the only thing that they can't do is like go off-road and not burn oil and For Those About to comment the n54 is so unreliable though it is uh when you modify it but I know someone who owned one that didn't modify it at all and it lasted like 180 000 miles and then they sold it so they could be reliable as hell but ladies and gentlemen that is finally the
