painted a car and changed her name she also hired private investigator Ossie Caban on January 30th 1985 as a head strange sounds over a two-way radio he'd given Cindy and went to her house finding the dolls lot he looked through the window and saw her lying on the floor with a knife stabbed through her hand bizarrely in hospital Cindy recalled been attacked by one person then in over interviews by 2re because of this authorities became skeptical of her story especially because she was reluctant to offer details on her alleged attackers as such Cindy told her father she would confront the perpetrator herself however on May 25th 1989 she disappeared the same day her car was found in a neighbor's parking lot with blood discovered on the driver's side door then two weeks later Cindy's body was found one prominent theory to explain her mysterious death is a she was harassed and eventually killed by herself or at least another personality though it might seem ludicrous it would explain much of the case a brief recording meanwhile taken from one of the phone calls sounds like a woman imitating a heavy male voice [Applause] on April 15th 1990 Ray Emery Fossum were heading out on that routine Sunday Drive near Coldwater Michigan when a speeding van suddenly accelerated past them around half an hour later they noticed the same van parked by an abandoned church and disturbingly saw that the driver was carrying a bloody she now obviously alarmed the couple drove on debating whether or not they should return to the scene yet before they could make a decision the van appeared behind them and aggressively brought their bumper for the next three miles finally read send off the highway whilst the van pulled off to the side of the road still despite this scary experience the couple remained curious and as the driver changed his license plates the pair drove back to the church there they looked around for signs of the bloody sheet and eventually they found it in a recently unearthed animal hole at this point Ray Emery called the police for the next couple of days the identity of the driver remained a mystery if our police concluded it was Dennis de PUE another body in the bloody she belonged to his wife Marilyn for 18 years the two had shared a violent marriage until that divorce was finalized in December 1999 however despite Marilyn changing the locks then he's routinely broke into their old house and on one occasion after an argument he pushed her down the stairs and proceeded to beat her then after the eldest of the couple's three children Jennifer had run through neighbors for help Dennis had shot Marilyn and believed in he was alone had attempted to bury her body by the church only to be observed by the far things still he remained on the run and for weeks had a ver to police concurrent to this a woman known only as Mary arrived at her home in Dallas Texas there she was met by her boyfriend Hank who told her he had to leave soon because his mother was sick and I said to make him some sandwiches for the trip Mary then sat down to watch the popular and 90s documentary series unsolved mysteries and was shocked to see the Hank was actually Dennis immediately she called her friend who in turn contacted authorities and gave them Dennis's license-plate number some time after state troopers spotted the number and attempted to pull the van over then his star fused to go without a fight and led police across a 15 mile high-speed chase until deputies eventually managed to shoot out his back tires still he wasn't finished and
