oh welcome to Sydney we have just hopped across the ditch to Sydney for the next uh three or four days to check out all the best things to see and do and eat there's so much going on in the city so this first video is definitely going to be about four really cool things sort of the main things to see do and explore and around the CBD which you can probably tell we're in the CBD based on what's what's behind us but the next few days is going to be a lot of food bars restaurants um we're gonna go out to Bondi yeah uh check out the beaches out there and there's a few Coastal walks that we want to do as well in National Parks never been to the Blue Mountains the Blue Mountains it's so beautiful one of the best things we've ever done in their life oh we hit it here first but the first thing on our list is to conquer the Sydney Harbor Bridge we're going up [Music] we are about to climb the largest steel arch bridge on the planet it's Quite a feat it's quite it's quite a few stairs as well I could say speaking of feet even though we use like kilometers or meters but yeah over a thousand steps 134 meters up this is gonna be I love it when you can climb get on top of yeah like properly experience because I mean how many times hundreds of thousands of times in our lives have we seen the iconic photos or like images of the bridge or Opera House kind of like you and the fact that you can like get up onto it it's pretty exciting yeah so looking at the sign here there's three different climes that you can do there's the ultimate which takes three and a half hours as an even more steps it goes over the entire Bridge right the way up over the top to the other side we're doing The Insider which kind of goes along up through the sort of the middle Archway so to speak you get to go up to the summer and then come back down and then sort of back over on the other side cut it up ready to hit the bridge because I'm just putting some stuff away um and then we're gonna we're gonna go out you're gonna get your onesie how do I look perfect I know you're lying so those lockers are there because obviously you can't take anything on the bridge at all there's just obvious reason there's just a casual 200 000 cars passing underneath every day so that means phones cameras even loose jewelry all that kind of stuff has to go in those lockers before you get kitted up which that this is Jake this is he's a legend he was our guide uh unfortunately for us because we were filming a guide for Jetstar for their Winx Channel we've also done a video uh Queenstown in the past we had meteor access to film The Experience to to share with you guys as well um which was very weird for us because we had somebody following us filming us then once you're harnessed up you attach onto this guide rail and you're you're constantly in touch with that the whole way around and then within sort of seconds you are out walking under the bridge and then making your way up and it's just you feel so small it is honestly so freaking cool foreign [Laughter] facts while we're at the top this bridge was built by 1932 and it took eight years they started the bridge climb in 1998 since then there has been over 4 million people we're nice to think four million and two now this is the spot with the best views in Sydney 100 thank you that was awesome oh my gosh epic absolutely love that so now we've got the full the full photo package there we got the hats to prove that we did at the certificates to prove that we did it oh my gosh I feel like we're always buzzing after an experience like this I know I feel like I'm I'm like ammed up a little bit Yeah so the hats you would have seen that had the lanyard off but they're actually preset with the suits that you wear that actually so that I can stay attached and then obviously you get to keep them afterwards which is it's a cool idea good touch so that was a pretty extreme start as far as the four things go but you know what it's beer o'clock so to some of Australia Year's oldest cruise ships that's what I was gonna say uh so so it's actually with the European the settlers first came in 1788 but these days I think it's yeah those oldest pubs it's we kind of wandered through it to get to the entrance to the bridge climb there and it just looks it's a completely unique I don't quite know how to explain it yet until we get into it but I mean on the weekends they have markets and stuff it's kind of it feels like Cobblestone it does really feel European yeah yeah it won't be the place then the Lord Nelson hotel which is Australia's oldest continually licensed top I think I don't know there was there's some competition for who is actually the oldest pub in Australia but this one looks pretty old so we're going for it well there's their words apparently this is the oldest hotel not Pub but then this is Brewery we are in the right place we're in the right place so you could just see it looks the structure alone the architecture is very different in this region it's the world's oldest continually local what is it I don't know what it is look they've got a lot of ales apparently award-winning ales and there's there's there's good beers to be had of course the drinks are good but we did come for some food as well Apollo fries Pizza they brought the fries out way too early man we're so hungry and then we've got a fancy fancy mug so it's about that's 50 bucks worth of stuff so this is kind of an interesting part of the Rocks because the the area that we sort of instinctively thought about is where we walked past earlier which is some of the shots I showed before that looks a little bit more like the walking streets so once we've uh consumed this which at this rate won't be very long we'll go for a little bit of a walk see this is more what we were thinking when we saw earlier once you head back in this direction here look at this so it's just a walking street because that's where it's got a very different feel to it doesn't European town yeah so down in the series also we've got um circular key over the other side as well there's so many restaurants and stuff out that way but we kind of just wanted to do something a little bit different but um yeah it's a nice walk down around there and you can head up towards the opera house to get up towards the steps and everything but we have got a different plan for the third thing [Music] get into it foreign doesn't matter where you see the bridge from it's Epica stunning in every direction so we have driven over it now we've walked over it now we've driven over it and we are about to go on to Luna Park if you don't know what Luna Park is it's basically an amusement park with 18 different rides nine of them are new I'm going to stick with the ones such as the ferris wheel and the bumper cars so the only thing that I've maybe semi worried about was was a pub lunch with a pint before coming to a theme park a bad idea still absolutely stay tuned foreign [Music] [Applause] yeah and everything is so bright and colorful and adventurous and you see like the theming is all 1930s kind of inspired [Applause] so for your first ride you Dipper which is like I think that's what this place is known for I've never been on a roller coaster in my life have you not I didn't know that no I managed to avoid it every single time for some reason your time's run out there's the entrance we're gonna go in need a good toilet okay whether you're interested in the big rides or not something that is awesome about this place that we had no idea is that you can actually just walk in you can walk in walk around get food watch people on the rides and explore and do all of that without needing to pay to get in it's only when you want to come onto the rides that they check the wristbands and then you kind of get involved which I can't think of anywhere else there's station space is so petrified I can't think of anywhere else that that has that kind of thing going on so there's a lot of parents obviously running around their kids are big enough to go on the rides but they just get to kick back [Music] [Music] foreign it's so short though isn't it you know [Music] wow [Music] I wasn't babe [Music] I had a heart attack okay overall it was fun but they were there was a moment there where I had to tell myself Stacey just breathe literally like the second we took off I was like oh get me out of here I can't do it I can't do it I can't do it I can't do it and then we started going up and then I was like I'm trapped on it and then afterwards I think mostly I'm just proud of myself yeah I'm proud of you too bro that was really really cool so it's not just the ones out the front there and the big Depot there's a whole section kind of almost out the back a little bit look at all of these that's wild that one those are intense when it spins and flipped at the same time thank you hey this this looks a little bit slower babe finally this is more messy oh you wanted to start with us and build into a day I can finally breathe not to be fair I'm so glad get them lovely thank you appreciate it so is that it we're done that's it I think that's a wrap that's enough roller coasters for one lifetime they were fun though it was really fun I really love that it's crazy I walked in thinking like oh this is a cute place for kids and families and stuff but it's awesome if you're a big kid as well I was thinking right from the start I'm gonna get you on a roller coaster oh you had a plan yes I feel like I succeeded yeah we're checking out but there's one more thing to show we're going on a cruise a harbor cruise 90 minute harbor cruise with lunch so we're just packing up the car and then we're going to Darling Harbor which we haven't actually checked out and I don't even know if I've I've ever been here if I have either that'll be cool that's so big it's huge I'm actually shocked at how big it is there are I think three four different levels we just went up one flight of stairs into the dining room so apparently it takes up to 700 people I don't think I realized quite I mean we saw it from when it went when the ship went in under the hover bridge and I knew it was going to be big but then you get in here honestly it feels like a small intimate kind of like cruise ship scene cruising again yeah so we get so we're doing the uh the top Tech lunch which means we got uh there's three options for an entree three options for a main obviously there's drinks that you can get we've got some bread here and then uh yeah then we're gonna go for a little bit of a cruise [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] you get to go under the Harbor Bridge not once but twice so that's sort of a one one pass through wow this fish was seeing it from under here that's one pass through now we're going to go down have some food have a drink and then we uh cruise around the harbor for a bit long and then I think we pass back through and go back to the same place that we kicked off from but it's just so awesome doing something with this and you see it from you just get that different perspective like we walked around down there we were up on that bridge we we walked around down there in circular key and now you can see it from a different angle I love this stuff but I love boat things like I I kind of get re-energized after working on them for a few years I just really really love getting out of the water so when I see something like this I I take the chance to do it entrees have arrived I'm not gonna lie I don't have a sneaky bite already so I know it's really good see you there so we both got the ravioli I think it's filled with pumpkin there's a tomato sauce some spinach and some Parmesan as well I've got bread rolls and different Mains we ordered barramundi we both got the same again and a glass of Rose because why not good so you can see as well there's people getting on and off often because they do they do a high tea can you read what else it was it was a high tea there's a few different levels there's upper level there's a lower level as well and depending on champagne Seafood lunch so I think it depends what you book and then you can come along and much like I suppose like a big cruise ship that people often have overlapping holidays it's like overlapping overlapping meals or we could do just down the mall breakfast lunch champagne be on here all day that food was super delicious but we thought we'd have one last chance to come up here and it's raining it's sideways laughs weird oh man it's getting bad it's getting bad the weather is so um they're so changeable so quick oh still fun even and like what an adventure moving in the rain so one last oh look out the screen is so wet so one last question to wrap up which of the four ways of things to do what would you pick we loved all of them this has been an absolutely epic couple of days exploring yeah awesome Masters a few more to come though a few more videos oh you've got to watch the Blue Mountains Vlog It's gotta be a goodie [Music] thank you [Music]
