3D printed Jet Kayak

hey what's up everybody i'm working on my homemade jet kayak um this side here is a 3d printed housing i designed a little water jet pump housing can't really say because it has this closed cell phone in it but this is a 7 000 watt uh brushless motor is what it's rated for this is a 210 amp speed controller then i have this wired in series to make approximately 29 volts give or take and got a little lithium 11 volt battery here um for this pump this pump basically sucks water at the bottom of the kayak goes through the pump the coil to keep the motor cool and then it spits out the side here as you see so i'm gonna go ahead and turn it on and see how well this uh jet kayak actually works so i gotta set it with wireless and then i got the low um receiver here and of course the transmitter so here we go turn this on there we go now it's on so now i'm going to give it a little throttle [Music] well yeah i think i'm gonna stop it for a minute [Music] hopefully this weekend if it doesn't rain then that'll be a part two of the uh the packing experience but there you go just kind of give you an idea of what kind of vote this is this is a d10 i bought this at a cabela's while back oh i thought it was crazy i spent almost 500 on it and i literally chopped the back of it to um to basically put the uh jet housing in and whatnot so there's the inside of it all right everybody have a good day and uh like i said this weekend hopefully i can pick a kayak out if it doesn't rain and really test it to see how fast it goes so alright there will be a part two have a good day
