303 Graphene Nano Spray Coating vs Ceramic Coatings

what's going on everyone we're out in the shop today we're going to be testing some new products they're comparing it to a ceramic coating [Music] that's weird 303 has sent us their new graphene nano spray coating we're going to test this against some other ceramic spray coatings now graphene has been uh the newest player in the detailing product world and it's gotten a lot of controversy and drama in the social media world and rightfully so because the detailing product world has been innovating at lightning speed and there's been a lot of new products i mean ceramic coatings seems like they just came out not even 5-10 years ago and they got a lot of the same controversy that graphene is getting now and you've seen a lot of commercials we've all seen those commercials where they're lighting cars on fire and it just seems really gimmicky as seen on tv type of stuff but i don't want to just throw this product aside just because it has quote unquote buzz words attached to it i want to test it out i want to see what it's all about i want to put it some real world testing to it so we have this my this is my loaner car as you know my gti is in the shop let's have a moment of silence for my [Music] gti [Music] we're going to test it out on this lunar car that i have for probably the next three weeks to a month i just washed it and deconned it i clay barred it i didn't do any polishing to it i want to test all four of these products on the hood and the windshield and we'll do some tests and we'll see how they do want to help [Music] i'm prepping the surface by using mcguire's m122 surface prep which is going to remove anything that may interfere with proper adhesion of our test products all right we're going to jump right into it and we're going to unbox the 303 graphing spray here see what's inside here this launch edition special box this is sweet enhances gloss and paint clarity provides one year of protection superior protection and durability evacuates exterior surfaces that's the biggest one that i see that i haven't seen that before reduces surface temperature and reduces water spotting so that'll be a good test because because we have a we have a temperature gauge and we can take this outside and really see if it reduces the surface temperature that's crazy right there that's why we're testing this because they are saying this is beyond ceramic better in ceramic they're comparing it to a ceramic coating this has to be applied with a an applicator pad so we have an applicator pad here um this will be our graphing we'll keep the quadrants so this will be we'll keep them similar here so we'll apply the graphing to this part of the hood and this part of the windshield and i'll show you guys how to apply this it's very simple all these products are very simple easy to use okay application is really easy here we're going to spray it directly onto our you can see that it's black that's weird this is a 15 and a half ounce bottle of the 303 graphing spray that you can buy for 19.99 let it haze up let's do the windshield too you can kind of see it beating look at it sweating it's the same look of um like crystal serum light if we put crystal serum light coating on there it has that same kind of reaction where it sweats [Music] a little bit sticky it feels a you know i can definitely feel some grabbing on the towel but it's coming off really nice almost like a like a wax does when it when it cures after you have it on there so that comes off really nice no [Applause] streaking very smooth on the glass next up is car pro reload this is a silica spray sealant it does have more than five percent sio2 which is the active ingredient on in a ceramic coating carpro reload is an inorganic sealant a 500ml bottle is going to cost you 34.99 to apply it simply just shake the bottle and spray a couple sprays directly onto your microfiber spread it out evenly then flip the towel or get a new towel and wipe off the residue [Music] third product we're gonna use is by ultimate car care this is a new product that was sent to me by a friend that he's testing out and he's coming out with a new detailing line this is the first product in the detailing line this is a sprayable ceramic coating he's just raving over this and absolutely loves it so his enthusiasm and excitement has got me interested so i definitely want to try this out and we're going to test it against all these other sprayable ceramic coatings this sprayable ceramic coating is an 8 ounce bottle it's going to cost you 59.99 a bottle this coating is applied with a microfiber again spread it evenly and wait 30 to 40 seconds before removing this is a unique product and a little bit goes a very very long way you can see how all these products are so different when they go on this one is uh it's very clear almost oily it has a solvent smell to it i can definitely smell a solvent in it again all these products they're all super easy to use [Applause] by far the best smelling product is this tech 582 this is this has been my favorite product for the past several months we use this in the shop it's 17 um for this 16 ounce bottle so it is definitely the cheapest product of all four all three of these products are all for the products that we're trying out um this is super easy to use you know we got some experience behind this one this will be our fourth contender here on the top tech 582 comes in as the least expensive of all the products we're using here at one dollar and 12 cents an ounce here's the price breakdown comparison of all the products we're using here in this video [Music] all right my initial thoughts on the application of all these products they're all very easy to use you saw that when you're applying them very simple no streaks on any of them i'm happy with the application of all these products the tech 582 was definitely the slickest feeling with the microfiber uh interested to see how big of a panel you can do with the graphene coating because that was a little different you saw how it hazed up and i wonder how far you can go especially in the sun all these products will sit on the vehicle for the next two weeks or so i'm going to do some interesting tests i want to do this product claims that it reduces the surface temperature so i'm really interested to see how that works we'll do some durability tests we'll spray some chemicals on there see which one holds up best to uh chemicals and uh and i'll give you my thoughts on all of them i'll probably rank them in the order that i like you know price is a big factor how much you get ease of application durability and uh and i'll tell you guys my thoughts see you in two weeks all right it's been one week and the dust is piling up on the loaner car you can see here it's pretty evenly spread out too i was really hoping one of these products would stand out and have less dusting than the others but it looks like we have a four-way tie here's another shot that i took of the condensation build-up on the windshield it rained a lot during the two weeks we are letting these products cure and this is what the coatings look like on the windshield when it's raining none of them compare to an actual glass coating but you can tell the beating is a little faster on the 303 and tech 582 panels all right it's been two weeks the car is dirty excited to test these products actually it's rained all last week so i used a lot of the wipers and i'm excited to see which products held up on the windshield otherwise we're going to watch this thing we're going to take it outside we're going to do a temperature test we're going to throw some chemicals at it we're going to see which one of these products is more durable which one holds up longer i'm excited let's get into it oh look at that already got results pretty flat already huh i haven't washed it yet you can see doing pretty well [Music] [Applause] [Music] all right it doesn't look like anything held up on the glass nothing they all lose there the 303 graphing coating is the winner after two weeks it looks the best reload and the other coating here that one looks a lot better too now that one looks almost like it's sheeting better doesn't it like you can see the water driplets there the water spots or the water droplets droplets droplets that one looks like it's almost sheeting let's get the hose graphing sheets nice oh look at it stuck there with the reload it just stuck we do have a little more angle with that top one obviously but all right let's uh tech 582. [Music] you can see how much slower it's cheating [Music] so let's do graphing versus the let's do the whole top area here yeah look at how much faster that graphene is tech 582 it's kind of disappointing to see tech 582 out of the game so early let's dry it and bring it outside i want to do a temperature test on the different because one of the things that 303 claims is that it will reduce the surface temperature on this hood and if it does that that's that's huge i mean even if it's by a few degrees [Music] [Music] we're on 108 on the graphene the tech 582 107 106. well eight same for the the x seal 105 106. six 109. six 107. nine 109 108 pretty much all the same not much of a difference there [Music] all right let's throw some chemicals at it this is the fun part [Music] all right we're going to throw a couple chemicals at the products and we're going to see which one holds up better we're going to start with the kind of least aggressive we're just gonna go with an all-purpose cleaner this is mixed 10 to one this is d101 all-purpose cleaner and uh find out which one holds up to the chemicals a little better see which one's a little more durable graphene held up reloads looking pretty flat already hex seal is looking flat already [Music] same with tech 582 [Music] i think it's pretty clear which uh which one's working better there let's do one more [Music] [Applause] let's throw some of that out huh [Music] you can see that it affected it for sure but it's still trying to sheet water it's still got a little bit of capabilities left in it where these other ones you can see they're all nothing's happening on those other ones but you can see here that one just opened up right there it's still trying to push water away repel that water we'll give it a minute on the top there you can see some tech 582 kind of trying to peek through i'd say we still got some product left there reload and the x seal are still pretty flat water's just sitting flat on it let's try some of this you want the same thing here graphing's trying to push that water away that's the tech 582 it's still pretty mostly flat let's see that just going from the top there just slowly sheeting off still [Music] [Applause] all right there it is i think the results speak for themselves the 303 graphing spray coating held up very good against our chemical test in the beginning when we first applied the product very easy to apply all of them were easy to apply this visibly had a deeper shinier gloss to it when we brought it outside so i think clearly it's a win a winner i think 303 has a great product here it's tested we definitely want to carry this on our site obviously it did better than some of the other sio2 based coatings that we carry on the site so i'm impressed 303 killer thanks for watching guys we got lots more videos that you can watch leave some comments below let me know what you think of it and then look out for that 303 graphing on car supplies warehouse website see you later [Music] [Applause] you
