[Music] hi welcome at abyss jet TV it's fat Pauly here and today we're going to talk about three long-haul biz jets that you can buy for less than ten million dollars yes you can buy a private jet that flies long distance for less than ten million dollars and today we're gonna focus on three aircraft the bombardier global express the Gulfstream g4 SP and the Falcon 900 E X so let's look at the first airplane we're gonna look at today is the blue bombardier global express an aircraft which today is called the globe or 6500 that's the new version she can buy for forty five million dollars but you can actually buy a global Express which is probably nineteen ninety nine twenty two thousand two thousand one vintage which you probably think oh that's an old airplane it's not an old airplane if it's been maintained well and kept well but you can buy one of these beautiful airplanes for around about eight to nine million dollars sometimes a little bit less depending on the opportunity that's out there but well you've got to be careful when you buy one of these older jets is make sure that it is 2020 compliant and if you haven't seen my video about a DSB click on the link here and you will find out all about that so let's look at the global Express it's a 6,000 mile aeroplane 6,000 nautical mile aeroplanes the difference in fuel burn between the new version and the older version is not really much we are talking about a difference of about a hundred and twelve dollars per hour in operating costs now of course there's a few other things which are going to cost you more if you're operating an older aircraft you know the maintenance and things like that but you know even if you're spending three to four hundred dollars an hour extra you know eight spending eight million compared to forty five million dollars is a big big difference now should you buy new or should you buy pre-owned that will really depend on your circumstance and the jurisdiction in which the airplane is going to be registered so that's the first airplane the second airplane we're going to look at is the Gulfstream g4 SP lots of those out there on the market lots of gold you can buy one of these airplanes for less than six million dollars okay this is an airplane that has less range than the global Express we are talking a range of about 4,200 nautical miles the new version or the newer version because they don't make them anymore he's a ghost yunji 450 now we're talking the gauche into the 500 and 600 then you want something they're making Gaussian g450 today you can buy for about 35 to 40 million dollars so again big saving if you're buying the old jet what's the difference in operating costs not much we're talking about 15 have gallons per hour difference in fuel burn obviously the new airplane has new technology so it's it's it burns less fuel and that's the main thing but then obviously if you're buying an older airplane the maintenance is gonna cost more because of the parts and things like that so always as I always say if you're gonna buy a pre-owned aircraft make sure you have a good engineer inspect the records of the airplane and also the airplane itself as well as looking to see what else is out there on the market but the other thing you may have a little bit of change with if you're buying an old aircraft is pilots usually like to fly the modern modern jets so just be careful with pilot selection when you're going to do that and if we buy an airplane that's too old you may struggle finding pilots that want to fly it because they're always looking for a gig on on a newer aircraft third airplane we're going to look at now is the Falcon 900 e.x built by dust so the dust oh aircraft the Falcons are well known for their short field takeoff and landing so this is where you would be looking at a Falcon compared to a Gaussian or a global Express the Falcon 900 DX today you can buy for around about seven to eight million dollars again watch out for the a DSB and you know all the 20/20 compliancy this is an airplane with 4,500 nautical mile range so it's a nice range there the newer version is called the Falcon 900 LX quite an improvement compared to the e X it's got two four thousand eight hundred mile range to another 300 miles because of the winglets the avionics different a lot more modern but you know the price tag is 44 million dollars so again we see quite a quite a big gap there now out of the three aircraft that I've just talked about which is the best one for you is it the global press is the goal Shuji 4sp or is it the Falcon 900 DX as I always say I don't like to compare aeroplanes and I'm not going to give you an answer because for you the answer will be the Falcon 900 X maybe or it could be the global Express it all depends on your needs and this is why it's important you need to have a conversation with a professional which can hone in and figure out and research what your business is all about what different that's nations you're going to be going to and be able to come up with the right aircraft type for you it's all about what you need not necessarily what you want and again an older private jet can work for you if you were thinking for example spending 1520 million on a jet where you could actually spend maybe a little bit less and buy an airplane that has a better range so this is another thing you may want to consider in your private jet purchase is spend less money to buy an older airplane that's got more range because the way you have to think of it and I always say don't think in a linear fashion you need to think in a circular fashion or think outside the box think laterally as Edward de Bono would say use the lateral thinking so if you have a private jet that's got more range okay you're going to be able to go to more places if you've got a jet for example that can land at high altitude short runways and fly long distance or whatever it all depends really on what you're gonna do so what you've got to think about is if I buy this jet where can I go in this jet direct which clients can I go and see direct without having to stop in between the things like that these are the questions you need to ask yourself yes how much it's going to cost you to buy how much it's gonna cost you to run are important questions but the most important question for you to ask yourself is where is this airplane gonna take me what capability extra capability is this aircraft available 24/7 going to give me is that's what it's all about the private jet is an innovation tool and you can't really measure it before you buy it you measure it after you've been operating the jet for about 12 to 18 months when you look down at the different trips that you've done and the deals that you've done as a result of using the private jet so that's the way to look at it so again global Express great airplane so the Gulfstream g4 Espie and so is the Falcon 900 e.x if you want a private consultation with me just ping me an email you my email address is below and we'll schedule a date and time and have a conversation and see where what I can do for you with my team so that's all from fat Pollock please check TV if you haven't subscribed please subscribe like this video comment below and I'll see you on the next one [Music] you
