3" LIFT KIT. 2020 CHEVY SILVERADO

so recently i purchased a 2020 silverado and i couldn't find online the largest tire that you can run on the factory 22s so today we're going to make a quick video and take some measurements of my wheel tire lift combo i'm not going to be able to hold the tape measure and the camera so let's go get some help hey are you familiar right now oh no yes yes what are you doing today well let me go change and talk about it i really was filming we're gonna go and look at some wheel size tire size is this better that's better for you to [Music] be oh this is we're waiting on the garage door now we can go in case you couldn't hear that hey what's the weight rating on that ladder i'm calling osha i got feelings [Music] so probably can hear that what b five miles from the air force base so we get to hear them flying death machines come over here which normally i love it but when i'm trying to film something it's kind of you know anyway so anyway so the tire i went with is the terra grappler g2s a 285 55 22 which if you look that conversion up measures 34.2 inches diameter however once you mount it and you get the weight of the truck the actual road measurement is i don't know if you can focus in on that but it's about 33 and three-eighths and uh my level is off just a smidge but you get the general idea that when you look at these tires up and you're trying to judge your overall height keep in mind that it will you know compress with the weight of the truck so the other look i was going for was a flush look to slightly aggressive didn't want to go too crazy if i went too too much wider i would get into some control arm rubbing issues with my factory wheel without using spacers i didn't really want to use spacers so the 285 55 22s is 11.2 inches wide i think i could have gotten away with 295 55 22s and that would have been exactly the look i was going for but uh as you can see sitting flush i'm tucked just a little bit so with the level flush off the fender uh the wheels tucked in about a quarter to 3 8 inside the fender wheel so i really think the 295s would have been would have been perfect if it would have missed my control arm i'll show you my control arm spacing with this wheel all right for this control arm spacing it's going to be hard to really get a good picture but i'm going to try a good video but i'm gonna try let's see i don't know if this is how well this is picking up but i cannot get a finger between control arm and the wheel hopefully this is showing up on camera control arm is part of the super lift suspension kit the one other modification that a lot of people ask me about that are chevy enthusiasts who realize that the high countries do not come with color match grills they only come in chrome way too much chrome i thought in the high countries is uh the only option you get so what i did i can't think of the product right off the top of my head i'm sure i have a can left in the garage i'll cut to that now that's that's all it is it really came out really good i did take the grill off of the truck to paint it i sell the truck or want to change colors or for whatever reason want to go back chrome i'll just uh it peels off you
