[3] Baldur's Gate 3 [Roleplay - Tiefling Warlock] - Lae'zel, Goblins and the Druids of Emerald Grove

much to the surprise of balance many others survived the demise of the mind player ship including an elven cleric named shadow heart who we met before a bit tense and apprehensive she eventually came around and joined our party nor would she be alone as a suddenly appearing wizard named gael also made his presence known wanting to work together to find a cure for the tadpole floating around in our heads soon after we also ran into a mind player wounded and attempting to manipulate us its brief stay in the mortal plane was shortened by our boot a rogue named asterion wasn't too far from the ship and after a tense meeting agreed to join us further bolstering our numbers close by a dungeon was found populated by a bunch of would-be raiders they weren't much of a threat and we discovered the layer to be dedicated to jargon we had to meet a few of its well undead followers within a hidden room and inside a sarcophagus rose up some strange ghoul he spoke some cryptic words before leaving now it's time for our third chapter we've gotten so much done and sure we need to find a cure that's true but we probably also need to rest up a little bit we can go to camp and end the day i don't know how much time i have but off we go are you studying your own mirror image what a strange guy hey your back's on fire yeah he's still dual wielding torches i made him do that huh he's pretty vain about hellfire i want to burn my foes and i want to destroy them just in a fury of flame so over here i have a spell that's going to hurl three rays of fire each ray deals 2d6 fire damage and it has a range of 60 feet then over here i'm going to pick up arms of hadar 2d6 the chronic damage it's only a level 1 conjuration spell i like that i get 24 hit points and one pact of the chain i gained the service of a familiar perfect i'll take it and done now to put on my gear for everyone else i'll need to look at what they have oh i already have it on even better she's got her helmet i've got my staff it's very fancy too all right now over to her 21 hit points more spell slots too and many new spells prayer of healing two d8 plus three hit points healed up that's incredible silence whole person blindness level 3 for her trickery domain meaning that she now has mirror image 2. it's really good pass without trace plus 10 bonuses stealth checks very powerful aid more healing all right then lesser restoration she's able to remove one disease or condition not bad at all when it comes to what she has prepared i can change that later and i like what she has right now i think it'll be okay inflict wounds guiding bolts i don't use that spell too much let's grab another one a level 2 spell would be nice i could instead pick up a prayer of healing and grab more level 1 spells i've got options in life i do like that shield of faith quite a bit it makes me happy inflict wounds oh that's a good one anyway we are done here perfect we've got four levels to look at okay gel a level three wizard what are we gonna pick for you my friend level 20 you've got over here blur your body becomes blurred which means it'll be very hard to hit him darkness too all right i've got a lot of options on what i could pick up acid arrow 4d4 acid no thank you dark vision oh look at that you can read the thoughts of certain creatures around you you know what i think what i'm gonna do for him i'm going to have him focus on stopping my enemies web is actually very good i'm gonna take that for one for darkness no i want a different spell i think blindness could be fine let's grab instead hold person gets some dye over here look at that you get four dice which are d8s your battle master maneuvers are fueled by these dice and a die is expended when you use it you regain all of your expended dice when you finish a short or long rest and she also gets jump a spell she'll be able to jump very far no that's what i want then over here we have a few passives we've got menacing attack for post when a creature misses you with a melee attack expend one die to retaliate and deal one d8 plus two plus one d8 piercing damage it's really good too that's what i want you to do i want her to deal damage i can't really see her trying to heal people up so she's going to deal more damage we've got menacing attack spend a day to deal plus 1d8 slashing and possibly frighten the target pushing attack okay 1d8 slashing and push it back by 15 feet these are great yeah take that i don't want more spells i want more melee power that's what we need i'll take it wow now we can hurt people let's move yeah level three you begin to activate a few of your nice abilities let's have a look over here friends i'll try that hi let's be friends hells we can't just leave the kin i'll not gamble our lives our
