2JZ Swapped A90 Supra gets TESTED on the Dyno // DYNO EVERYTHING (NEW SHOW ALERT!)

uh there's a 2jz in there does it shoot fireballs yes yes it does dino everything welcome to dino everything this show is all about dynoing cars simple cars stupid cars race cars round cars anything that can spin these dinos we're gonna put it on there that's right so we're taking a car we're putting it on this dyno they get three runs to get the best power number we can get we're gonna take guesses price is right rules power is right power's right right you guess over you lose guess the closest to the power you win so it's like this versus that but with a dyno sometimes one car sometimes many here's our first episode [Music] welcome to dino everything we have a really special car we have an a90 supra the one that everybody asked for and didn't get let's bring in the owner uh you got pasadena hi what'd you bring i brought the 2020 supra the a90 it's got minor modifications done to it nothing too crazy minor mods minor ones what would you say is your uh biggest mod on this thing well there's a 2jz in there the way it's supposed to be it's a crazy world we live in where you say my major mod in a super it's a 2jz exactly the world is on its ass i mean let's just dive straight into that can we look at yeah absolutely yeah minor stock i swear lies oh lies i mean this looks pretty good in here i'm not gonna lie there's a lot of room the motor sits pretty far back in there so it helps with the handling obviously it's nice i feel like the biggest question is is it hard to put this in this car putting the motor in the car took like a day it it's almost made for it it really is made for it it looks so good having an inline six in this car and having it stood straight up instead of leaned over yeah and i mean billy instead of plastic everything looks beautiful and it's just the motor that belongs in here i agree truly truly so it's a built 2j you said factory displacement yeah 3.0 3.0 fully built ahead it's fully built with five angle valve job i have gsc 278 cams and important polish and then the bottom end is just rods pistons and we're running a 7605 turbo 420 g transmission which is the e46 m3 get rag oh okay really not the super get right no i don't know oh cool bmw e46 okay but surprisingly the gear ratios are perfect with the diff we're running an e92 m3 rear diff this is my third diff we've been blowing the rest is that because of how much power this thing yes you want to tell us how much power you think it makes well it made about 900 wheel on a 62 millimeter turbo we we just changed this turbo last night and we just street tuned it so we don't know how much power it's going to make you're like free dino sessions yeah exactly it could make it could make 800 it could make who knows depending on what boost level we're at if maybe like 900 or something i don't i'm not sure well it can definitely make more what kind of boosts are you running it's out around maybe almost two bars okay so that's a healthy amount of this two-bar is a good amount he's not here to play i do know the highest horsepower mark five chassis right now is 10 50. so you're here to break i don't know i'm just saying i mean you said 900 brake chassis records i'm just saying saying one 900 around 20 we're around 30. yeah we'll see 85 i'm guessing only eighty-five only eighty-five five no effects [Music] can we talk about the tasteful little color hits it's not a factory gray is it no we we wrapped it in ardo gray okay the theme for the car was to make it look like an updated mark iv you hit all the vibes you got the front mount showing that's super important you got carbon fiber accents you got meisters which are you know top fives yeah and then we did a custom single exit diffuser just to kind of match with the single exit supra style tilt single exhaust all right let's get this thing strapped up [Music] [Music] [Music] i think we break a world record today i'm gonna go 1060. i'm gonna say 1085. i'm gonna price is right him 1100. 720. how many wait wait wait wait wait how many pounds of boost two bars almost two maybe more i don't know let me dial that down 650. disrespect i have a lot of confidence in these guys these guys didn't come to mess around let's say 1100 would have dino before on the old turbo 860. oh and what size was that turbo compared to this 62 mil in the 7876 strong 950. can i take mine back no [Music] dude i'm going to take mine back you can't information see that was a premature he's been he sounds like he's been with a lady and was like this never happens i swear to god that never happens yes where are we at 5 45 5 45 5 4 5. first pull everything i had something like that let me finish my sentence i said first of all the price is wrong all right we got a quick mulligan on this one so now we're gonna redo all the stuff get the right numbers on the dyno dino in the right gear and uh hopefully we're closer to that number because that sounded like the spiciest 500 i heard in my life [Music] looking real good [Music] [Music] man [Music] um out the bottom [Music] quick recap we hit 9 17. these guys swapped into turbo till 2 in the morning last night these are the first polls this car has done with the new turbo set up it hit 917. that's a respectable number extremely but we're at a point right now where really it's ultimately your decision as to whether you want to turn up the wig guys 2j guys know we're on stock main caps we have billet main caps but in order to put those on you got to hone the block and do all that stuff my best friend here the genius tuner he's afraid to turn it up because if it blows it could blow we're rolling the dice and i i kind of want to do it and i kind of know so okay okay i'm a gambler yeah big time but i don't know i wanted to but i don't have the time to redo the motor right now so okay then i can't do it all right all right so that's our number 917 and we'll have you guys back we'll have this thing on this versus that this is a beautiful
