phenomenal man how you doing I'm doing great man I try to sound professional I'm doing phenomenal man how are you doing he's start he's starting already man I'm doing phenomenal I just talk to this guy about this and he's already doing it hey I'm just you're phenomenal yeah I'm phenomenal man I'm try so you went from Z to 30 trucks in one year Andrew yes sir do you have still 30 you still youve grown past that probably about to go past that this year okay and you are doing that through the Amazon AFP program Amazon Ms I do Amazon 24 tractors and I have uh my own tractors as well okay okay so you're doing your thing man how old are you I'm 28 28 years old got about 30 plus trucks you rocking with Amazon you got some other contracts you're doing so you're doing fairly well so let's get into your story man how did you get here man where you from I'm from Orlando Florida Orlando Florida you didn't know that did you I didn't know that I didn't know that Orlando how was it growing up in Orlando man it was same old same how you know people normally grow up um not knowing too much um been with a family that I had a mom and dad was together in the beginning but separated uh later on online too as well but pretty much how I got into this I was doing um what was it it was newspapers so we was doing newspapers as a family growing up delivering um newspaper routes yep okay so newspaper from books and stuff like that packaging them up putting itineraries in there too as well you know just started doing like a family business type of thing so what what what made y'all get into that business h I couldn't tell you I know your mom got to the business start it it's really my dad who started it okay and then um pretty much just followed suit you know my mom went with him started doing all these other stuff they had own businesses too as well or my my granddad had businesses so so so tell me so real quick so you had a newspaper route like just like what we all know a newspaper route as so you would have different houses that you guys deliver newspapers to how zip codes basically zip codes go down by ZIP codes uh we had like least 10 different zip codes that we had hit every morning um had to be punctual make sure we on time for certain things too as well things have to be out there before people breake up in the morning so usually like 2:00 in the morning 3:00 a.m. and you're a kid doing this yes sir you're going to school too at the same time same thing okay so you're getting up at 2:00 in the morning and helping your family deliver newspapers and then going to school yes sir every day every day did that affect your your your performance in school no cuz my mom was pretty on me about that you feel me but I mean you should have been on her it's like Mom I got to get some rest said M what's going on I mean damn you know what I'm saying hey man we real Hustlers I ain't going to lie facts facts okay so you you got started in business very early yes sir you had the entrepreneurial Spirit obviously so how old were how old were you doing this the newspaper six six years old yes sir six I think we was doing what was I in first grade first first grade how long did you do that for a couple years we do it probably three years or so um we pretty much came well known around the area uh because we came number one um we was pretty much doing a lot of things we got offered uh to as well to go to state to state to start opening up some more houses and stuff like that to start delivering more phone books and stuff like that okay okay all right so y'all delivering newspapers and phone books yes sir got it all right so you do that for three years as a family yes and then what happens why do you dissolve that what what happens to that business honestly I couldn't really remember you're still young yeah still young trying to figure things out trying to understand everything but it was hell of a time had fun uh Brothers falling off with CHS sisters that's fun hey when you a kid you just you know having a little fun running around dropping things off seeing who can be the fastest dropping these phone books off to each locations and stuff like that like game yeah basically like a real game but we didn't know we was really training to be entrepreneurs in the future honestly but okay got it so you're 10 years old now and the phone book business is G newspaper business is done what what what what's next now so pretty much mom always working now Dad is working now everything like that too as well so speeding online um years later online came up here as I said I was Orlando Florida born and raised but then I came up here what age were you when you moved here uh 14 14ish so got into Middle School schol where you go high school I was in Middle School transition from middle school to high school what high school you go to I went to Camden high Camden high yes sir must have been great going there huh yeah you know I I know a little something about it tell me about it what was it like it a little surreal place not really understanding like how people do things up here as well uh but uh some people was nice some people was good but you know you know how kids are you know teasing bullying all other stuff like that as well but did you get in trouble or were you a good kid some what what is that mean I'll tell you off camera okay you feel me got it got it so you had you had some issues in high school yeah all right so After High School uh but in high school became a uh athlete pretty much fully around um I was MVP all four years of my High School playing what sport uh football track and uh wrestling okay MVP of everything so you're athlete for real yeah I told you football what what what sport what track what what you do in track uh track uh shop putut shop I could I should have guessed that I wasn't going to say like the 40 yard dash or nothing like that all but it was some freaks that was really running 40 yards crazy and big and stock yeah yeah yeah kind of like um what's my guy name Zion Williamson kind of remind me of Zion a little bit you kind of got like that bu you know what I'm saying and you're athletic too all right got you so you you were athlete you did track and fi you did football what position you played football football D tackle U did O tackle to as well okay and what was other what um I did wrestling wrestling so that I was heavyweight champion my last year as well okay all right so School you did your thing man I told you uh MVP yeah yeah yeah you was a man all four years you was a man you got all the girls something like that I believe it all right so you graduate from high school was next for you uh pretty much College got a uh scholarship to University of Maine from there on trying to learn you know everything about life uh as a young man going into adulthood trying to figure out networking with new people understanding new people as well and studying my position a little bit more in detail as well learning The Playbook that was all over the place I didn't understand none of that right making sure that your compliance is on point is an integral part of any Trucking related business today I stopped by my friends over at Fleet Drive 360 to talk about what they're building to make sure that you can run a successful trucking company and it's everything from the minute you decide you want to hire somebody through maintaining all of your FMCSA compliance documents for ongoing Fleet or or owner operator truck uh business you've got a driver hiring and recruiting module where you'll create driver qualification files import digital documents you've got a drug and alcohol module where you can schedule pre-employment drug tests and manage an ongoing testing pool we've got an accident registry so you can keep your mandated accident logs and even schedule follow-up uh drug testing for post crash we You' got vehicle maintenance logs so you can not only maintain the compliance status of your vehicles but also upload your work orders and compliance related documents so you're audit ready when they come in we've got a document repository fancy words for digital cloud storage of any document that you want not just necessarily the compliance documents anything related to your business post crash videos performance evaluations and then finally you've got the dashboard and the dashboard is the most important part you can close your eyes and glance at our dashboard open them glance at the dashboard and immediately know whether or not you are complying or not both on a driver company and vehicle level it's One Stop Shop for all your compliance [Music] needs pretty much so you're playing ball in main is that D1 yeah D1 okay and same position tackle defensive tackle what about uh what was your uh major uh major business marketing okay okay got it so how'd that go did you graduate yes sir graduated my M my mom don't play all right so you got your your business and marketing degree you graduated with that sir okay got it and then I guess Sports was like you know once you graduated that was kind of done right so aspirations go to the league or anything like that so I was supposed to go to the league honestly but um what pretty much happened was I was in the running for it but I had double hip surgery at my junior year okay so that was came to a full circle around so I had to understand the new things about getting back healthy and stuff like that making sure I'm taking care of my body I felt like I got rushed too fast to get back into the game but you know me as an athlete I'm very competitive and then also I really want to make sure my team is pretty much taken care of at all times you know put myself in there in the I guess I'll say into the alliance Den I'm type of a I'm a vicious animal when this come to sport for competitive so yeah got it got it I right so um you graduate college yes sir and then what do you do then came home trying to figure out life after uh my surgeries um well I even say this I we even won our conference chance when I first came back um I'm not going to downplay that had to learn how to walk again had to learn how to run again both years uh for the year and a half and then went back to playing so from then on um they say I I can just do one one more year to see if I can go to NFL too as well some teams look at that at me so I said you know what let me go for it again I went ahead and try to do it again but one day I wasn't able to get up and walk oh really yeah just woke up in the morning and couldn't move couldn't move I did a MMA I did I know you going to look at me crazy when I see this but I used to train constantly I used to do uh all practice rehab and then working out running in the gym and then I used to go to uh MMA after everything's done so I try to figure out like cuz that was my regimen already to a certain extent my junior year before I came in to do my senior year 2 as well so try to get back in the bandwagon to understand certain things about my body so what did you like over exert yourself or something like that really was crazy okay okay so uh FR I couldn't walk I said you know what this is not it I don't want to risk myself I don't risk my life to a certain extent I won't be able to walk again in life so hey I got to look forward to the future so I had to call my trainer let them know hey this won't be something I'm looking forward to continuing to as well and then I got uh DQ okay DQ is what disqualified yeah disqualified medical disqualified got you got you all right and how' that affect you emotionally you know you know you a kid you always grown up trying to dream right dream to do be in an NFL but then again hey this is what I do I get out here and get it regardless I'm a hustler so that's right all right so talk to me about that hustle man what you do next so then you going to look at me crazy again so I came home from school came home from school I got like five jobs okay at one time it was wild I ain't gonna lie I got in the job trying to figure things out back and forth back and forth trying to figure everything out they didn't know I was at another job I was doing another job okay what kind of jobs are you doing so I did uh Walgreens I did uh I think I seen you at Walgreens P I knew I knew this guy look familiar hey you love I was there packing them shells and stuff like that so then I got into uh dog food uh company too as well so packaging and stuff like that chewy or something like that it was like recy recycling bins you know how you see the recycle bins that you put uh things away in it how you go to like if you go around like businesses and facilities and stuff like that they got recycling bin you can put stuff in there yeah yeah so I had to uh get the cages and put the uh actually with cycle B with cycle was in there okay stack it every day and then I brought it back to the warehouse and then we get packaged down and then get sold overseas as well so you're doing that at night time I was doing it at night time all right so you're doing Walgreens during the day Walgreens night I was doing I was doing the uh Trucking in the uh it was a boss truck so it was she doing Trucking too driving for somebody else yeah okay somebody else so did the B TRS in the morning that was in the morning shift and then at night shift it was um the actual Walgreens packaging things up your hours was crazy you was running illegal like a mother yeah no 10 hours off for you buddy no 10 at all wow and was the other two jobs I did um what was it it was it UPS I did UPS got into that I saw like a seasonal type of thing yeah seasonal thing with that and then um it was I think it was one it was two more but I forgot what I was doing then because I quit the Walgreens one and then I went to those two um forgot no then I went to another boss Trucking Company too as well I worked with them that was DSP okay and then I did um it was one more the company I forgot though I got the tax return but you just like going balls to the wall like just working trying to figure where figure where I want to be and where I want to land at you know figuring out life a little bit more as an adult um but pretty much figuring everything out what I want to do you're 22 at this time 23 23 all right so trying to figure these things out trying to understand what I'm doing correctly what I'm doing wrong and stuff like that did I like this uh job do I see a career going forward to as well but I didn't like none of them gotcha so trying to lever things out then people started hitting me up about uh start telling me about Trucking okay but I was I still kept my job for the DSP as well learning about uh delivering from home to home for Amazon uh products too as well I should do uh big couches tables mics all this other type of stuff that we do right now okay so you're working for somebody who has a who's in the DSP program and you're one of the drivers yes okay and you saying people start telling you about Trucking who's people so people that you know we work with everybody talking about man they working about they they making this they Mak they watching truck and hustle they going crazy like we need we need to get out this truck we need to get our own thing going right so they're like Bab you understand they can make 3,000 from this and then one person told me to like yeah man my uh my cousins and stuff like that they making like 300 700,000 a year or something like that I said what the hell right but you know you're still with DSP explain what DSP is for people who may know so DSP is Del delivery service partner um it's another Amazon partnership that you do with boss trucks or you do with Vans as well um you can deliver they call SL which is uh big Commodities as well so like you got tables shares uh bikes any type of things like that as well they deliver in that and then you got um you got the advance where they do small packages that you get rich watches um I'll say like little you know tenuous items not too much big things just real small things that you can deliver anywhere books and stuff like that got it and how did someone get into DS to to be a DSP business owners are used to wearing many hats but accountant should not be one of them receipts payroll taxes $10.99 Insurance bookkeeping it's time to get your back office off your back you can consolidate your financial operations into one flat monthly plan that takes care of all of your accounting payroll and tax needs meet transpo CFO powered by vening a full-service CPA and business adviser helping companies Like Yours save time money and headaches hate math we love it and have been doing this since 197 the8 we manage your entire Financial operating system and provide you with a single point of contact saving you time and money so you can get out of the back office and back to [Music] business so um it's pretty much I'm going get them one way but I'm not going to get them other way so uh the one way that you can do you can apply online it is at delivery service partner I believe at amazon.com too as well so you can go in there and fly for that but it is a requirement that you would need um you need a good clean background to as well and then you need at least $30,000 in on asset liquidity got it got it and at this point you're not a DSP yourself you're working for a DSP yes okay got it continue the story so I started learning about DSP a little bit more trying to understand everything about it so um I already had a business already when I first came home um I had a couple houses too I I a tell you about that but I saved money up to uh buy some houses when I was u in college everybody kept spending a faster check for everything else buying shoes and stuff like that okay I'm like man I can get everything from the low and then buy some stuff from the auctions from from from my hometown so that's what I really did you were getting houses in Orlando no here oh here in Jersey okay got you okay so I had like at least two houses when I first came home out of college but it wasn't enough you know trying to fish forecloses like all the houses or like one fore closer and then another one just bought out right okay and were were you run them out yeah okay cool that's smart where were you living so I was living um with my mom and my brother you living at home and you rting out the house that you buying smart you feel me so I had some income Cent but then you know my mom brother got you doing nothing why you like you know what I'm saying I was like hey I'm making some money you but did at the same time I was like you know what yeah this is not enough I need to get out there uh you know trying to figure what I'm trying to do in life h all right cool so you you work in the DSP you got some houses rental properties on the side next step what happen so after that um pretty much trying to figure out how to be a DSP owner because I said you know what if they can do it I can do it to as well trying to learn about that ask them you know asking certain questions to the supervisors and stuff like that what can I get into this area and then I had a uh person that was in inside too as well he was the manager of the warehouse pretty much put me on game with everything everything I really need exactly to be uh actual Contender mhm he was letting me know everything and what were some of those things just to give you give us an idea uh pretty much the liquidity that he was telling me about also uh having a good background check and then uh credit making sure your credit is good too as well they want to see some things about uh if you able to pay things back having things correctly as well and then um how you present yourself how to talk your manual Wims and stuff like that just you know because you got to do uh separate interviews and stuff like that for it U I also applied for it got denied though but I was got very close I got to the last stage just so so I was very happy about that to cuz a lot of people don't make it that far either so like damn it's like 50,000 people I think I've applied and I got denied as well so you understand I'm asking I'm trying to figure out what I did wrong you know what I'm saying hey but yeah it's not it's not very many dsps do you know the numbers like the the statistics on how many dsps there are like especially like in this area I don't it's not it's not a beat number I forgot I know I know I know the number it's written down my note somewhere right so this is just for people like to know like this is a program that like if you get um selected it's it's kind of like a privilege you know what I mean because everybody doesn't get selected you have to go through a rigorous process probably takes about 6 months to a year to even get into and once you're in there you're kind of in and you know you have a great opportunity to kind of build yourself a business in a box right sure that's a good way to explain it yes sir okay good deal all right so you start doing the research about the DSP and then you what so then after that then I started building up my own company I already had my own company because really for for my housing so I pretty much converted that into actual Transportation Company doing what um from from housing to Transportation no no what what kind of Transportation are you doing like what are you hauling so I didn't really know I just had like a general sense of so I put General Freight okay so anything would come across me I can maybe possibly do cuz I did all different types of freight I did recyclable then I did HomeGoods as well so I was trying to pretty much figure everything out but besides that started that and then start looking at on inde DED finding little short contracts as well um then I left them to actually start my actual career cuz I said you know what let me really now you're working as like a contractor for other companies other companies so you have like a you have a truck is a straight truck or a box truck trck so you have a box truck and like 26 box truck or something like that yeah all right liftgate no liftgate I had a liftgate um I then I had try to understand how you know insurance work it was two different types of insurance it was selective and then all the way around insurance and then I had to figure out about that too as well and then the brief gap of 22 days before you actually start for your ex insurance so had to understand those type of things and then understand um about uh tractor payments no truck payments about truck payments so uh pretty much the down payment had to put down to the rental company too I started out renting I didn't started out buying nothing okay um because where were you renting from I was runting from Ryder okay you got joke from Ryder what was your payment it was what uh what 350 for the tractor and then press miles like 20 cent okay yeah were you making money with that business model let me let me get to it oh I'mma break it down for you please I'm let you know what Happ let me slow down all right goad relax like what you say relax let me relax go ahead go ahead goad I'mma bring everything down for you so pretty much um getting everything into MX and then I did my first trip I did from uh Ohio to uh Chicago so my first week understanding I I didn't know no I didn't know nothing at all I just started doing YouTube University pretty much understanding about how um insurance payment Works how um how tractor payments Works how I can get certain discount and Deals and stuff like that but a lot of people didn't have that that sauce in that game but I learned a little bit sauce down the line I'm I'm I'm a really back in for you too so you understand that so I went for my first trip my first trip I mean I had to drive 635 miles strictly Through The Hil and snow so that's my first trip so me looking like damn I may not make it back home from this one cuz it's it's all these people passing me and these trucks passing me but it's look I can't see nothing in front of me so I finally get past everything I get over with my nerves get over with praying God to myself as well and then I finally made it to Chicago when I first made it to Chicago I got an accident yeah so this is your first trip first trip and this a CDL or nonl I didn't ask n NL box truck 20 uh 26 foot box truck nah and you go to Chicago and you get an accident on your first trip yes sir in the rented box truck from Ryder yes sir okay tell me about it so yeah I was backing up in the middle of the uh City you know how that is the windy city is kind of crazy uh especially for uh parking so try to park try to uh see where I was going you know my first this is actually one of my first time really driving a boss truck too so I'm trying to get used to it backing up but I backed up two different and really very narrow and I tried to tell the dude helped me out but he didn't really listen to me and then IIT hit his window I hit his uh uh yeah his window so that hit he got mad everything like that suspect course he he got mad how dare him St mad and everything like that so I was say hey man let me uh I'll take care of you and stuff like that blah blah blah uh but he got over it too as well so backed up to the dock dropped off the chocolate it was a little pack it was a little pallet we like 8,000 lounds but it was chocolate yeah I was like but at that too as well I'm learning about this stuff so I'm like hey man well it is what it is but my first week I was uh or NE $4,733 nice yeah that's it did she did it all right some people do worse than first week not that bad so $4,000 so I was dollar yeah okay gas um uh gas uh gas car uh I'll say overloaded didn't have nothing for the gas cards you paid them to do the load B No Cap I paid them to do everything I just drove I said man this is crazy right right but you know I didn't you know I didn't go home and tell my family I was like yeah man I'm good you but no yeah I was bad I was M I was mad I was like man it's okay it's whatever but I'mma figure it out I'm going keep it pushing don't quit keep uh keep it going honestly okay so that didn't diminish my mentality so before that then I came back home started doing all different type of trips um they had me over the road I did over the road probibly 3 4 weeks straight going back and forth and then s really understanding the game understand who company you was working for uh honestly I don't know you remember I really don't it's so long ago I really forgot like like I swear like you moved on to bigger and better things but I kept moving and shifting to other things and I try to understand how this works cuz I was like man these people not making me no money it was like a $150 a mile I was like I'm not making nothing got what am I doing so I switched over to another company I think it was like a another dispatching company what year is this now again where we at this is uh 2019 2019 okay so keep going yeah figuring everything out pretty much and then they would just I think it start with a t for the next dispatching company I went to but they start following me good loads $3 a mile $4 a mile to a certain extent so I start you know start going with them I started bringing home at least um I say 800 a week 900 a week we are here live at OTR Solutions HQ I'm here with my partner Jonathan man listen factoring is an integral part of the transportation industry why is factoring important absolutely RL in this economy and this Market cash flow is King cash flow is the key to growth if you have a young Trucking Company or if you've been in the industry for years and you want to take that business to the next level we're absolutely a company that can help so I hope you'll give us a call today let us know what we can do to help you out get the rest and roll with the best let's go right and you still you still this is your business now at this point right it's my business okay so you're working as a contractor for this other company like their Authority yeah under the authority their contract but you're working for them yes okay so pretty much understanding that too as well uh figuring out how I can maneuver how I can make more money to as well but then um I started doing so many lo I start making some real money then okay everything's turning I'm going over a road everything's looking right you're on the road on the truck now over the road over the road yeah yeah so um after that one of my guys called me back that I used to do some other BOS hook work for the one of the dsps and stuff like that so I said hey he said hey come back you know I need help s so I said huh should I come back home being local yeah let me come back home so for sure should I understanding certain things with the in uh indeed to as well trying to figure more things out so I started making a lot more money when I got home so and then that's when relay came out Amazon relay but over the road somebody signed me up for Amazon really I don't even know his name like he didn't really give me his name you say somebody like what like it was like a broker so I started making like a broker list while I was out there too like people that really can get me some good loads to as well so I was like start figuring things out so I said hey let make all this list but he he told me hey this is how you do this you can go there and do uh sign up for Amazon relay and they do espite freight for you and you go warehouse and Warehouse so you have to do all these other things you're doing right now so I start understanding that I said okay he signed me up for it and I came home home I start doing that too with uh some of the work I was doing before so then that's you know I start tessing my money I start making like 4,000 a week still one truck still one truck now some people think that to be with Amazon Rel you need three trucks no you don't you need one BS truck um you need the right Insurance to as well you got to have um AO liability uh I mean it's aggressive oh how you say that it's another insurance too as well that you need but uh pretty much all those insurance that you need fully to equip the truck and to make sure uh for anything with work compensation I also had to get a work I had to get a uh work compensation too as well yeah workers comp I had to add that in there as well figure those things out okay but got besides that then I started doing relay I started making um Amazon relay figuring out their system I started making like 3,000 a day depending on what work I was doing and then I was doing the other work too you were going to Warehouse to Warehouse with them Warehouse to Warehouse was that all you were doing or like different types of stuff like uh pretty much I he mixed I'm hear mixed things about Amazon relay I've heard good stuff I've heard bad stuff that's if you know how to use the system how do you use the system it's a lot of things I'll say I'm going give you uh two tibits yeah if you know a certain time and you start doing these loads at certain times every day right you know that's repetitive work that you got going on every day so you just go in there and put in a Load Board not your low board but uh post poster truck you go in there you posted certain miles every day at this certain time frame every day you'll get it every time and if you know that the rate that you was getting over time you'll get it you just got to know your routes you got to know what you do every day if you're not paying attention to what you're doing and planning out your routes and that's when I start getting good with planning okay planning is very huge in transportation but start understanding about planning how to actually you know write everything out have everything planned out for myself for the full week and then that's how I kept maximizing what I was getting but with relay don't they they have a load board yeah they have a load board and so but you're not you're not using the load board like that I use the load board if some if I didn't get it that day I use the load board and then it's like it's another tidbit too as well it's like uh certain um hotpots so at night it's certain places that has certain certain warehouses that has abundance amount of routes if you know these actual locations and all you got do is actually sit out there some people sit out there some people yeah so you wait before the load hits the board you're sit out there just waiting for it to pop up now listen I told you I'm hustle I don't I don't play no gay when it come to this so okay if I had to sit outside or uh we just kept I kept pressing the uh refresh button over and over over again like I'll sit there watch a TV or something like that cuz I know a time it actually starts and majority of the time it starts like 900 p.m. 2 going for after that so pretty much figuring out that time and then maximize my my opportunity for that got it so you'd pick the warehouses that you like that you knew there was like loads coming out of that you liked and then you'd sit there and kind of just wait for it to happen and you're refreshing the system and when you see it pop up I'm on it I'm gone okay so that's how I I maximize my money like that every time so I never was without a route I can maximize three routes in one night I just got to you just got to know which routes you got to go to right now it can be a route that you know C some um mail services that's open right now now you can go go there and drop off and then you come back to the warehouse and do another one you feel me so I start knowing which ones was the Right male places to go to that was going to always be open in a certain amount of time right and then maximize that say Hey I got this this 350 this is going 30 miles okay another one 450 it's going this way it's going to be there it's going to be open at this certain time frame go there drop it off come back drop it off come back and drop it off yeah so I used to do like 1,500 2,000 a day how much flexibility did you have with like the rates that you would be able cuz they pretty much put the rate out there right yeah they pretty much put the rates out there but um since things got to go in high demand out at that certain time that's why I say hot spots to a certain extents you got to know where those places at so give me an idea of some hot spots here he wanted it they all I want all I don't want to Hur no people business where where are some of the hot spots at I I give you one I give you one I give you uh or three I mean you know wherever you want to stop but at least one at least one I get them AP eight AP eight is a real good spot that you can go for uh at night I ain't goingon to give you the real good one cuz I don't want nobody to come at me cuz you going to have people come here for real hey n you did the dir how you put the whole joint on YouTube though bro like for real like you gave up the plug on YouTube he a't he a li I I know how that really is too I know how much that b bread and butter for that that's so you said AP eight yeah Tren Trenton Tren Warehouse pretty much uh a popping still to this day still to this day like like Deontay Wilder say to this day you're in they still popping out in Tren yeah they still popping out in Tren I know the other place I know they still popping too as well but you know it's pretty much what you do how you strategize yourself how you playing as well so okay you got to understand your your actual system that you working with everybody has a system you just got to understand where you fit in at yeah yeah yeah all right so you say you're doing about what 3,000 a week you 3,000 a week making 12,000 a month and what are you what are you taking home what's your that's me taking home that's your net that's taking home that's everything that you that that's that's not bad I'm telling you I'm telling you R that's that's that's the bottom line that's that's the that's the net not the gross I'mma tell you uh and then kept doing that for a four year I made uh I told you Nega 4,733 3 $2 I gross about with 245,000 I think close to 250,000 my first year with one truck one truck it's not bad cuz I start understanding the system I start planning I start understanding what I supposed to be doing yeah so a lot of people don't do that a lot of people now were your were your peers were other people in the in the Reay relay Network having the same type of experience or were you hearing I don't know what everybody was heav but I knew what I was doing I'm just I'm just saying cuz I mean what you're hearing guys like struggling like yo man I kick and you like yeah man damn sucks for you all I know is when the Hustler was in there they was hustling they out there doing their thing everybody going in and out I mean you you catch people trying to fight for door listen it got that it got crazy people really was out here like hey man this they gave him this door to stop playing with me I was like they for real like damn bro for real take the door man it's okay you can no no no no I don't play that I don't play that no that's a man damn so they out there really scrapping for doors huh I done seen some things in my brothers see some things so wow wow it get serious very very serious so and then my scores is always on Top Notch too as well talk about that what's the scores my scores is 99 percentile every time every time and what do you have to do to stay in that 99% be consistent know how to be on time for certain things too as well and then I have my own little tricks and traits how to dispute some things too as well for Amazon so I start understanding more of the system internally um how I can get away with certain things too or not even get away just to have improving on their system what they messing up on to right right right that's a better way to say it yeah not get away not get yeah yeah for sure like you know they they may made made a mistake right like that's not what you think it is Amazon it's it's something different it's something else right now 100% please hold up right don't jump to conclusions no conclusions don't think my score we're going to provide you with uh uh IID say facts and data that's right and and that's the most important thing with relay right is keeping your score up and that they reward you by that score correct yeah and then they uh give you I believe before I was in I left that it was like a on time payment like you get uh it's like supercharg you get if you do a route and it's supercharg and your high percentage you'll get that payment that day gotcha I don't know a lot of people know that cuz they they scores not that high but if you get your scores in the top 99 percentile you you get you get a lot of routs that have super charge you the exact same day and they you out and that helps a lot too as they call it supercharged yeah okay got it okay cool cool cool all right so you do that for how long I did that for that year one year just one year one big year 250k and then it's time to go to another level what's next hey we about elevation so I had to elevate I had understand more of what I was doing I said hey man I want to grow I'm trying to goow on this side trying to grow on other sides too as well so let me figure out the ways I can grow cuz I just I stacked a lot of money up at that point in time so I said you know I can grow now I could do that and I can got enough to cover three more box trucks honestly so I'm okay but that's when I brought my little brother one and then my little brother helped with me I was teaching the system brought a couple of his friends on to as well trying to teach them the system how to work things out too as well so if I knew I had four box shs that's a meal so I said hey I can do that easily cuz now I know the game I might make more than that you're purchasing the box trucks uh no they're getting renting you're renting the box trucks still still but I had a inside code which a lot of people don't know it I don't know if I should even say this of course you could go ahead let's talk about it okay so it's wow okay talk to me but all right so it's like a a different code so if you like a partner with Amazon to a certain extent um those people for the DSP side had a specific code for right and then they'll just give it to the leasing leasing company for ryer and it was partner with wrer so I got my dude that was inside I was you know doing loads with them said hey let me use this s1z and so I can get a cheaper rate so then I got a cheaper rate on that and it was like 250 gotcha got you so you doing all right so I started cutting cost on a whole another level and then gas uh you know gas didn't go that high up that time so I was still killing it I was bringing a lot of money home okay okay got you so now you're rent so you're renting all the other trucks for you to bring your brother on everybody else so I brought uh one other boss truck on and then I try to see how they do by their Sal by me teaching them again because I don't want to go too much but at the same time that person didn't want to grow with me so I said okay well you're not trying to grow me I'm going go to relay I'm keep doing what I got to do over here right so build up with that start going crazy with that too as well we making a lot of money right there but then we still in the high 99 percentile we never dropped gotcha we probably dropped a little bit but then I got things back up you to recover you recover fast so how many guys did you grow to with with I only did two well you said you had four guys right I I had I had uh me and my brother but then it was another person that joined on to was three so all together it was three people but then we was trying to go to another four cuz I was trying to take me out of truck and they had some okay you know what I'm saying got so but I was getting so many I was getting rates I got so good I was getting lows for 10 miles for $300 because of your performance because of you just know because I knew what I was you knew you know what you're doing yeah I was having everything in the midst that I knew exactly what I know was supposed to be doing 10 miles 14 miles I was pretty good with their system what made you smarter than everybody else I you just paid attention paid a lot of attention study try to understand how things go understand the routes of everything too as well but by understanding that I said you know what let me really optimize on it cuz I used to make I remember I did um what 70 M for $1,000 but it just runs back and forth with like 250 each yeah yeah yeah so honestly I start getting so good I didn't even need to get up it got bad my little brother got mad like how you doing these certain like how you doing this I'm I'm dropping 100 miles from this this and that I was like I just know the system I I taught you it but you got to understand how to do it right so once I started teaching him he start understanding okay I can do this I can do that okay yeah but got it besides that after that I really start going a little that's when I got approached by Amazon okay so speaking to that so they start asking me questions like hey you always stand at 99 percenti how you doing these you know these certain things how you able to stay in in this this range group and can we offer you another um you know opportunity so I said you know what yeah let me look at the opportunity what you guys trying to offer me to as well and let me you know optimize on it so I understood what they trying to do it was AFP Amazon Freight partner so I understood what they was trying to do giving us you know tractors and stuff like that and pretty much you just got to formulate the whole system yourself so what's the difference between the Amazon Freight partner and then the uh the relay what you're doing now like what you were doing before like what was the main main difference dedicated routes really so pretty much dedicated routes on every day you get certain amount of routes and then uh you get to some some Amazon brand and tractors as well okay okay it's pretty much the difference so how do they start you out how do you how do you transition cuz obviously you took that opportunity and you decided to take it because what it just it just resonated with me as it's it's a good opportunity and then I can you know leverage that with other people too as well grow more and do a lot more things okay got it so you take the opportunity and what do you start with they give you one truck how how work started out with three tractors and then from three tractors I started growing up from that but uh pretty much I say I had to do with the three tractors and figure out my whole system I had to hire people I had to put my own money into that I already told you I had an excess amount of money already so I had enough money to had to full the capital was $440,000 starting out with so you got to have good credit $4,000 out this for AFP now AFP so now it goes from 30 with DSP to 40 with AFP yes okay so you got the 40 and then you had to have good credit and then you had to have um what's good credit 680 and above yeah pretty much a and above okay uh pretty much to make sure they know you're liable you able to do certain things too as well but then you go through like a u interview process to as well within it no matter what you got to go through your interview process even though they kind of reached out to you so to go through the process yeah so you got to what type of questions are they asking you in this process listen I don't know if I'm liable to say all these questions but but high level CU I know you there's like some ndas and stuff involved right but like like just the beening about your management skills like that kind of stuff yeah pretty much your background what you have done what's your resume looking like type thing you know those in that nature your skill sets your requirements that you have so they that's why they look out for you but we want to know a little bit more about you as well got it okay how long does the process take for you to go uh get into it didn't take me that long but because they reached out to me but for any other person it might take a year almost two years even just to get into that program too got it got it but for you it took what a couple months two months two months all right so you in there yeah now just for context you are the youngest person in the program in the country right is that funny yeah you li I I am the youngest person in the program and I am one of the fastest growing Partners as well one of the fastest growing Partners also yeah I grew the 24 attractors in six months okay all right so let's talk about that how did we how did we do that I understand the system okay I understand um hiring had to from the ground up I built everything up from the ground up so real quick the first three trucks how did you get those how did you did you finance those is that something that you get through Amazon through the program okay through the program but you're still financing and paying for them right no okay you're not paying for them not paying for them okay so how does that how does a business model work just give us a high level explanation of how the AFP program works so pretty much three tractors and then once you get the three tractors you got to figure out the whole system of everything though you got understand you keep saying system what does that mean so go deeper without going too deep y so what I'm trying to say is system is everything that you do you have a system to it everything you get up you brush it to you watch your face everything it's a system to it so it's process of how you do certain things that's why it's called a system so it's a it was a system how they what they built with inside like you said like a box of things that you have to get done and have you know processes set up for you to get you know um track to get a Tob uh drug test for drivers um I'll say uh finding yeah get the yard for the D drivers as well like the whole ecosystem of everything so you had to put all the moving pieces together for it can work as a full moving system okay so pretty much I did everything myself in the beginning uh they gave me the tractors I got the yard I got the G uh they I think yeah they gave me the gas cards too as well but easy pads too as well but everything else like the moving pieces of uh getting drug test getting Clearing House you know uh Insurance to as well mhm had to figure everything out now are you paying for all this yes okay so this is what comes out of your pocket this is why you need that liquidity yeah so they're going to give you the assets they're going to make sure you have the equipment to do it but in terms of the hiring and all the the the administrative stuff you have to pay for that yeah and you got to figure everything out too as well you got to figure it out so that's the biggest main thing when you say figure it out I mean they're saying I mean because this is kind of like basic stuff like you know getting drivers drug tested making sure you have Clearing House all that stuff they're not offering bring you any type of guidance on that no really you got understand how to do it okay you got they give you something that's why you that's why you that's why you are who you are they expect that from you they expect that just like anything in transportation they expect you to fall fix a problem fix have a solution you got be solution based in everything you doing in transportation right now so had to figure out everything from ground up okay Ground Zero so how much uh insurance is going to cause uh per truck what I kind of what kind of insurance do I want all the way around do I want selective for specific trucks too as well um but I started with Selective cuz there more tricks with that so okay so so let me ask you a question so did you have anybody that you look to for guidance and figuring this out or did you just kind of like I hopped into it honestly I hopped into it um some people helped me out family members helped me out too as well with certain things but like I hopped into this man I pretty much had to figure everything else out um ground running but there was some people I met along the way I even try to go look for more people CU other people that might be in the program can possibly help me so I start I got in a group chat with other AFP Partners so okay to figure out hey what am I doing wrong what I mean need to be getting done a little bit more faster and stuff like that did they help yeah I had I had one good dude that really helped me on understanding how get uh drug drug testing for the vendors and stuff like that and then also um get iPads for the tractors um uh get mobile phones for uh drivers as well yeah so basically connecting you with the right vendors like going through like higher right or something like that for drug did um I forgot what it's called it's been some minut N I think it was higher right probably high right one of the biggest ones yeah so yeah use them uh my insurance company was Transportation risk uh use them trying to figure out how I can maneuver so I come up with strategies with them too as well okay now what about in terms of like the loads like how are they allocated you have like a certain amount of loads that you run a week or how does it all depends on how many trucks you have so start now with the three what do they give you a around 28 28 runs yeah and those are like direct like like no it was 21 it was 21 80 n it can be it can be or they it was it was dropping hook but so no touch rate no touch rate we we do no touch that's beautiful thing yes sir yeah but um it can be a block like when you see um right now if you go into Amazon relay you'll see a full block that has all T of work it'll be like for a certain amount of time frame you may have one three four five six drops in that actual block so it's the same thing to as well there nothing really to much different it's just dedicated just specific for you and where are you going you're going Amazon and Amazon you be Amazon Amazon warehouse to warehouse warehouse to Warehouse so it's it's the same format yeah but it's just you got dedicated rosters you got to get handled got it got it okay cool so you start out with three how how' you find your guys the first guys you hired ooh oh indeed indeed robbed me bad man they robbed you rob me bad man I had to put a lot of uh promotions out a lot of ads out you were finding anybody I was finding people but you know how they find people and then they have the people that don't make sense why you applied to this and they don't have a CDL right right they want to drive Uber or something like that right listen I said I'm not here you guys have trucks I thought you were LIF I thought you I said man why you keep paying for all those lead but I paid for that lead so I was like man I just wasted money yeah you feel me so over and over again I kept getting some people that was messed up I got some people that was not good at all but you know pretty much find tuning certain people then I start finding people that was coming from other APS coming to me okay and then uh then I had a good system a good a good amount of people good four or five core of people okay then I started like your first like kind of set group that kind of got things started for you and got things going for you yeah pretty much trying to understand that in in a sense trying to figure out who's going to be my right people and then just understanding people as well like it's a lot you can understand about people and then the things they'll do for you and the things that you won't do for you as well so I had to figure that out kind of fast what does that mean so it means like if they're trying to do a load or they not trying to do it way okay if they come for the they come and they apply for the job I mean they they come to work right you would think that so you would think they come in to do the job do the work but no they they'll sit here and say hey uh no I can't do this I'm I'm scared to do this I'm rising this I'm like well I just I explain this to you in the beginning I told you the specifics of what you have to do warehouse warehouse um even third parties that you got to handle to as well right and it's a very easy job I mean if you're just Dr bumping docks dropping a hook listen not touching no Freight are y'all got are y'all paying any money I'm different I'm different from most people I was doing delivering and dropping the warehouses I was going to all different you been there done that so to them I don't know what they was expecting I don't know what they were receiving from other companies special incentives or special you know things that they expecting from us but everything is not the same as other companies it's certain things guidelines you got to follow that's right so I was telling them the exact same thing hey this is what you came to do you got to do these certain things then they'll probably drop your truck there and leave you too as well so that's true that's not a good thing so that's not a good thing at all try to figure that out too as well how can get uh things situated with that have to go out there and go get a truck or pull things back or you know get somebody to go out there and it for me and you didn't you when you went moved into AFP you didn't drive no anymore right you left that with relay yes sir okay got it uh all right you start to scale you start growing right how how do you know when it's time to start adding more equipment on and how does that work with Amazon do you just reach out to them and say hey I'm ready for five six and seven eight n and 10 or they look much of your performance where you at what you doing and stuff like that uh so but pretty much and you as on you got to understand stand to as well for yourself how much money you're making how much money you're retaining mhm so you can go up on trucks and go up on more people and you got you got to pay for drug testers you got to pay for all these other and more insurance insurance is money for sure Insurance especially nowadays insurance is crazy yeah it I'm rosed up since the pandemic honestly yeah I believe about maybe like 15 18% higher it was that's oh my God yeah it's up there it's it's something that I never expected to go that high but it did so had to meet that challenge to as well uh pretty much having enough money in the back end to make sure I can supply for those actual tractors coming on I don't pay Dam 6,000 just even for a down deposit 7,000 8,000 for things to get back on your actual uh so I can grow for for what is that now to grow to add the trucks on to your actual policy so oh for the for insurance yeah for insurance but you know I was doing selective got you selective is completely different from all the way around talk about difference between those you okay I'm I'm get some more yeah yeah yeah we we we like the sauce so selective you can pick certain tractor that you want to add on for a specific insurance to as well it might be a little difference in money but um all the way around you can just add a truck on but it just be added on through the week or so of what you doing to as well so also it also depends on the driv you bring on board too your your premium can change off the driver that you added on which is the biggest and craziest suspense that you'll never expect a person that can come on to your company they can have um I'll say speeding they can have all these things to mess up in your actual and the actual NBR yeah and then when they come on it it can tend that your actual insurance insurance yeah so you got to make sure you hire right hire the right guys especially for that but understanding those two specific things cuz selective some you don't have to go up too much for your premium as well some things don't go up I don't think they go up cuz mine didn't go up at all okay so even though I had a couple people that that didn't fit our criteria for insurance M but some got pushed through cuz you know talk to him about this S1 so you come up some strategies and plans for that but yeah so selective and all the way around is completely different you can add on selective you can pick a certain truck that you want to add on and then all the way around you just put them in and you got it ending they'll charge you they actual added premium later on I know Progressive do that too and they really do people bad yeah yeah I've heard I've heard some stories um all right cool so you start to grow and you said basically you know when it's time to grow based on performance and just knowing what you can manage yeah um so but it you started growing pretty fast right I said you grew like 30 in a year so apparently it wasn't much for you to manage I mean it made you decide to bite bite off so much so fast which it did come back and bite me but I'll say Lear what do you mean what do you mean came back and bite me because I grew too fast okay and that's why I had to hold on myself right now that's why I spent this year really perfecting my actual system and my structure my foundation so just besides that I did um three trucks then I went to three trucks to seven trucks then within a month and some change and then after that I went to 10 trucks they ran that for at least two three more months after that and then after that they gave me 10 got you but that's because I was really low on numbers and I was really performing one of the top got you so 2 three s 10 and 20 they just like started D doubling doubling up when they hit me with the 10 oh my God yeah he's like whoa I said at one time a 10 piece listen that 10 piece woke me up yeah yeah that t like that 10 I had myself I was okay I got one worker I can I can work this out this is easy yeah get up do this every day I'm good 10 more though right I had to add more moving pieces more uh positions and you got get you got D you got to do all that now talk about the other side because I mean once you add on all those all that equipment they have routes that's going with that right so you have to also be on time and make sure you fulfill that obligation right fulfill everything so so that's that's not easy no not at all then you had to understand um how fast you can hire and then um how fast you can get people in and then ask in the system it may take two three weeks for one person just to get in so you had to plan ahead for that so I plan in the back end just for those certain people so I had so when she told me the person that was uh going to give me more trucks I actually planned ahead I said hey okay you know I got 10 extra people added on to the system so they'll be ready for the uh the transition and then they'll then come up with a certain time frame where everything started so when you got the 10 trucks when you you got in um mates this week you get this this week you get another one and then you get like by groups so I picking up threes and fours and fives you know they can increment to add more Yeah by week by week but it was in that same month so I had to plan that out I get all them charts then have people go in there train them get them in there boom knock everything out then come back do the same thing then they start become a regiment and then I start understanding how to train them a lot more detail so they can understand what they do in the system without me even being there and then my people that I had you know added in there then I start adding my uh my sister she came my assistant and then after that then I had my older brother as my safety manager Then I then my younger brother as my one of my lead dispatchers so I start teaching my family members how to get into the game how what positions that you I need you at that I believe that you the best fit for that position yeah and then U by going that then I start you know training everybody to do what they supposed to be doing but the biggest thing for me was letting them do their actual position like giving them free range say go ahead I trained you enough you should be able to do it and that's the biggest learning uh lesson I had to learn just letting my staff actually go ahead and do my actual job that I was doing before right not micro managing them and allowing them to just you know yeah make mistakes sometimes but learn you know those mistakes boy that was mistakes was real but um couldn't Wish For Nothing Better honestly what was the biggest what's I mean cuz we're talking about you know a lot of good things what were some of the challenges that happened especially like you said you grew you grew fast so like what were some things big Lessons Learned and growing so fast that if you could look back in hindsight you wouldn't have done you would do it differently I'll say the amount of contracts I start getting so fast after I grew to the 24 trucks with Amazon then I started getting more own my own contracts as well okay so leveraging what I was doing with Amazon to other people as well bringing up you know more proposals understand how to write a proposal understand what uh other customers are looking forward to as well but by me doing cuz I got I had a I had like two more contracts worth five M each so I was like how do I want to grow how I want to do this and how the operation is going to look and who I want to bring over there so those moving pieces was very critical for me to grow and I understand even the staff that I had even the employees even the drivers that I was bringing over they was probably not a good fit for this they probably a good fit for Amazon side but it probably wasn't a good fit for colado Poland Springs any other clients that we had at that point in time or male work too as well so I had to figure out how I can Implement them and how I can train in the best way possible so they'll be good out there on the road and how can they be more safe out there too as well got it so did you um you so with Amazon they you're you're power only right you're you're using pullinger trailers yes did you do you have any trailers or you own or I got two you got two okay so most of the contracts that you have you're just pulling other people's trailers yeah pulling other people but then uh the contract I had received I was getting their trailers too I was getting their trailers but it was basically under my own company as well so pretty much understanding um getting those trailers on under us but then I start building more Partnerships too as well with these other contracts uh people had brought certain contracts to me and they knew I can scale up to as well and then I had the people to as well to shift over okay got it when you started working outside of the Amazon system did that open your eyes to anything else like just because you had been in this system for so long man like talk to me about that so you know pretty much as you said Amazon com in within the Box they got certain things to set for you to as well and then they help work with you too as well they not just there just be there they help you and get accompany with their system so me building my own system for that and then building more people into there until I understand if they're a good fit for you that was the biggest learning piece for me and then understanding um gas the real gas real easy pths how much that you know goes into account for eff say fuel you can't you can't be in trucking and say gas say gas fuel I can tell you young and trucker gas it's fuel man it's fuel fuel cards you know I was trying to understand those certain things but and then uh pretty much putting everything to percent I start working by percentages so understanding that where those you know expenses goes to the to uh for the operation piece and then understanding cost efficiency on that big a big level yeah it really can you speak to that a little bit deeper like how do you manage your money like in terms of like do you pay yourself how do you think about growing your business like what's your methodology around that so me uh personally I don't want toay myself in the beginning I really want to make sure my whole compan is is have enough cash flow coming in that it can replenish anything any uh tractor breakdowns any uh fuel fluid fluids that need to be attractors too as well so I I stepped away and then let it you know Fu itself now with Amazon are you paying for all repairs and maintenance and stuff like that how does that work I don't know if I can go into that okay got you but but pretty much understanding how to put into that and then understanding the math to place for certain things for that so so pretty much understanding how the operation piece works okay but um what was the second so I was just trying to understand what point did you start paying yourself and how do you manage your money growing your business my first contract we did like a um we did a military work okay so we was pulling containers where'd you find that so with a partnership with another family friend too as well so through that understood how to that's when I really started leveling up and trying to understand how to uh put more expenses to that but I got the contract with them we did like five tractors with that and then we was pulling from back and forth and we made a good amount of money for that too as well okay was that an ongoing contract or that something it it was a little short but it was three four five months something like that like a FEMA or something like that FEMA so like a little FEMA but that FEMA pain crazy okay got it so got it got it okay so all right so now just for context so people understand where we at you have have 30 something trucks um you're mostly Amazon for the most part but you do are Diversified a little bit in like some other kind you say you do mail as well yeah how'd you get in the mail the partnership partnership after we did the little short FEMA Dan they offered us more Mail work to as well okay so that was going to more 10 more tractors as well so you like doing Mail work what I'm just asking I mean cuz you know mail is interesting like you know it's very old school yeah I used to run I I had had some guys who ran mail um so I I have staff an agency um so you know one of our contracts was a male contract so we send drivers we don't have trucks but we have drivers that are going to work for these you know um mail contracts um so I'm very familiar with how the mail operating system works I know it's a lot of waiting sometimes um they're very you know um you know like it's the same way like if it's it's it's late it's a big deal right like mail has to be on time um and but they're not always on time right and then like you know a lot of a lot of red tape in dealing with male contracts so that's why I'm asking true it was pretty good for us too as well but the biggest thing was there the person I was partnering with didn't understand where you running out of uh uh uh Philly I was at Philly l Road n pulling out a red line no not red line but I did couple Phillies and I did uh New York too as well and I did okay Long Island yeah okay I did that page I think is where they're at yeah and I did a couple uh marylands too as well okay yeah yeah couple couple marlands too as well back and forth but uh the person I was partnering with uh whoever the contract was through they was not good with operations they pretty much did a whole 360 and then went went against their word on certain things too as well so that was another bullet I had to bite understand um it's good for you to work directly with the actual customer yeah cuz you didn't have the mail contract you were just working work sub forward so basically understanding that so understanding that how I can get sub Le or strictly stly to the ACT client and understand that too as well but you just all the way run around but pretty much understanding where I can get in and then develop more uh relationships with those people too okay okay got it all right cool so um you're 28 years old right you said yeah 28 years old um you are you know in charge of a lot of people all right you have how many how many employees Now 60 Now 60 employees and that's how many drivers uh I drive 50 50 drivers and then 10 like admin and other like dispatch and so forth your family and all that what's the biggest lesson you've learned man in in in these you know short four or five years of doing doing Trucking man in in this industry the biggest lesson I learned learn to be patient don't rush yourself too much too fast understand um the people that you put in place um how to train those people and make sure they understand like that the bigger picture what you trying to achieve painting your painting the goal for everybody to understand what's the projections yeah what's your big picture my big picture uh to get to 100 tractors why uh as I said I know I say this a lot though but I want to be one of the number one track trucking companies in the world I know 100 is not up there I know still very small it's still small relative to what they say I mean you like under 200 is like a small trucking company right so once you get into like I they say 250 and above is like a mega carrier you considered and then like you have as like a th plus that's like the big boys right um but 100 is nothing to sneeze at now it's not nothing to sneeze at you know that's that's a lot of trucks but I'm just under I'm trying to understand why is it that you want a lot of trucks cuz the money is not always in the trucks it's not no it's not right so why do you want 100 trucks but is it vanity it's do you want to like be like I got TR back of me we come in strong we come in strong hey it's something like that but just to say I was able to to make it to a 100 and then I know I been talking to a lot of people that make 100 Millions uh billionaires and stuff like that yeah man it's just a lot more that goes in with a thousand Trunks and I learned the operation pieces for that and I don't really want no work from that but I say 100 is enough for me to say man I did it I came into the market and I did what I supposed to do and I made it if I go more than 100 I go 200 300 500 yeah I'm okay with it I'll take the I'll take the risk and I but at minimum the floor is 100 yeah do you put like a dollar amount on every truck like every truck brings me this amount of money I'll say yeah okay right now I do but before I didn't got it got it have you made a million yet you've made a million huh have you made a million dollars yet what you talking about have you made a million dollars yet I just told you I had two contracts for five each you didn't tell me that I told it was did he say he said two five million a piece the other two the other two that I was talking about besides uhid Amazon you did say five I don't think you said five you said you had two contracts but you didn't say five I had I had two other contracts that was worth that that was worth five a piece all right so it's safe to say that you've made I did you've done done 10 plus you've done eight figures plus gross I can't I can't say sure than I can only say what I can say I understand lra Noto much you know you got people out here yeah yeah no listen I I totally understand these are the big dogs we're talking about and I know that you know I I know that there's only you know you can't say everything so I get it that's why I'm being careful with my questions I don't want to ask trust me I'm I'm protecting you make sure I don't ask too much yeah you supposed to be you supposed to be my mentor you but but I do want to make sure that we get the questions that you can answer out you know what I'm saying so about um all right um what's next for you man man honestly getting to know more people making more connections and then um keep growing honestly yeah then keep growing on that um I already told you got other businesses but yeah what other business I so you know I got you got the restaurant let's give them a shout out you got um Steven Soul Ste you can find that where at um Spruce Street Cy New Jersey okay what else you got going on and then I got a nonprofit too as well uh my nonprofit help uh disabled and homeless men back into society transforming their lives to as well what's that called uh it's called cast c for change what made you want to do that my grandma okay always helping people you know giving back to the community too as well and then um you know I just want to carry her Legacy on too as well about that cuz everybody in the in the hood pretty much know about her too I like that thank you that's dope and what else what else we got um got another Trucking Company too and you have another Trucking Company you got two trucking companies yeah I can't have that together so do we got to like come back and do another show about the other Trucking Company hold up hold up I want talk too much about that but you feel me it's okay more stuff on that one that's to come and then a brokerage company too that's coming soon so it's it's a lot more things to come trying to build more trying to understand more about Transportation industry the market um you know get well well known about this yeah for sure man I mean I think one thing that you'll learn is that you know you in a a business where you're running a pretty sophisticated operation in terms there's a lot of people who wish that they were in your shoes and had your opportunity but there's still like a lot to learn true right want me to tell you what's about to happen at Amazon talk to me I'm about to do a uh it's like I'm about to present at the Our National Conference okay cuz I got a um a new service that I'm providing for a dispatching service and I got an app coming out soon okay so let's going to is this going to be an app that's going to be available to the public or is it something going to be for like Amazon now listen people most likely it's going to be for Amazon beginning just for you and [Laughter] Jeff hey this app just for me and Jeff you know me and Jeff for right now but you know it's going to be coming out soon it's going to be transcending the Transportation uh industry right now dispatch app it's more than that okay it's it's all the way around app but it's it's going to do a lot more things digitizing Freight Technologies what everybody else is doing what we got going on I really don't want to get it out cuz it's so vicious it's so crazy like they even they want they want me to talk about it so okay me so you're going to be presenting so you in front all the partners so you nervous you told Amazon about your I I ain't tell them about my app I'm telling about my services you know who Amazon is I know have you read the stories about the way they move listen listen listen play I I don't they see something that's going to make some money boy they going to super right up listen that's why you don't tell too much that's why you tell a little bit but you about to give a a presentation on it bro yeah but n not a full presentation I'm just going to streamline give ideas yeah give my ideas of what I'm thinking about to a certain exent but it's not going to be something that they can get they I'm patent it to is it something you have in development already yeah it's already is it done can I can I check it out hold up can I get some access I I can show you the next episode I don't want it out out yet okay so what what let me just answer this question what problem are you solving a lot of people problems what's that what's the problem cuz I got a lot of problems too but I would say the most problems that with Transportation with is uh getting everything done with AI backend information uh data information reports you know everything that you don't see transparency into your company that you need when you first starting out you don't know nothing you just get into this and just ah what if you had something that provides you data of what where you need to be fishing so what you mean so as a as a person who's starting a company starting having you can be starting and you can even have a full Fleet of a whole company you can have 100 trucks okay wouldn't matter okay I guess we'll talk off camera CU you ain't really telling me nothing I can't really tell you this cuz I know how you got you giving me like the going just going to do this n we we'll talk later about it you'll tell me it's yeah tell me say about that that was vicious though I'm not going to lie to you yeah it's going to it's going to T like right now I'm number one in my area right now but yeah I know you didn't know that either but you be surprised what I know man oh you know that I I a know that oh but I know now you know now but yeah right now number one in my area right now but you but there only like two people in the area you do know that right nah it's more it's like number one and he's number one of two you you don't know all of them but uh I'm just mess it's a couple it's a lot of people here though it's just I'll say not everybody want to be known to a certain exate on the love yeah can you get me an AFP program in I've I've sent the email I'm still waiting for them to to holler back I can say something I can put a little word in because I I I've had a few people put words in for me and it hasn't worked so maybe your word cuz I'm I'm doing a presentation maybe your word might help a little bit it might it might help when I do my presentation though and provide services that I want to provide I think I can add some value to the AFP program I know you can you got there a lot of value right here that You' been putting out that's what I'm saying I'm trying to get down with you Amazon you keep on rejecting me I what does this man have that I don't have I don't get it I I ain't saying this too much got SCE I tell you I got a lot more stuff in me right now there in uh information data and understanding how to Pivot a lot of different ways so yeah honestly that app gonna be crazy man oh I I hope so man I'm I'm telling you that's where it anybody listening right now get in the tech bro get in the tech get in the software as a service that is where this industry is going if you're not thinking about tech and thinking about way to ways to solve problems and only thinking about trucks you're you're definitely just missing out because this is we're becoming a digital world and we need to solve some problems problems and and yeah that's that's the way to go it's all about tech so I like that you're thinking like that oh already and it's on what my third year in this yeah you ain't playing man you Ain wasting no time 28 years old third year you done scaled up with Amazon you're doing your thing brother I congratulate you and salute you man I don't did a [Laughter] lot he's like man I'm I'm doing all right yeah I'm okay man I feel hey family taking good everybody happy uh close friends is good too as well everybody working with me and we growing we getting better team is getting better I'm glad I I'm glad I can have work with my family every day honestly that's right now that's a blessing man that's a blessing doing his work man God is really doing his work right now you can provide opportunities for people that's super dope you know you know I got 60 people in my back I got to make sure I take care of no matter what so that's a that's the most important thing bro you keep the people first and they going to always take care of you you know so that's the most important thing um all right bro let's wrap it up uh you you watch the show so you know we got to do our final thought sir and then let everybody know where they can connect with you so first of all final well first of all where can they find you uh you can got Instagram Facebook you got juw 3p worldwide that is my company um my Instagram ju3 worldwide started on the program I was Nega 7,572 too so I started out negative in each department boss truck and and the um tractors track each other so don't let when you first get in stop you from you know achieving your maximiz goal like understand there going to some be pitfalls there going to be all different types of obstacles in front of you you just got to have the mental mindset to surpass all of this cuz if I didn't if I stopped at that one box if I stopped at that first time I got an accident if I stopped at that 7,000 in my bank bank account at that first time now this will be here I want to have C employees I want to be able to bless my family like I'm blessing with them and growing with them as well day by day so don't let anything hold you back have the mental fortitude to keep pushing through life yeah that's what makes you that's what that's what makes you different than everybody else right yes that mental fortitude and that mindset I told you I had double hip surgery right I couldn't even imagine having double hip surgery hey man they broke my leg and put it back together shave my bones for it boom boom broke both of my legs I had to learn to walk two times that's wild you know how much mental you to come back from that you know people don't come I couldn't imagine bro I couldn't imagine I I you a bad man yeah I told you I'm I'm vicious animal you different yeah you different my man Drew is different yo listen man this has been dope how what time we at like two hours no hour and a half I feel like we've been talking forever hour 16 hour 20 hour 20 okay cool cool i' been I've been giving game I don't want to go too much nah nah you've been definitely giving G I mean if if this something else that you forgot to say by all means you know drop it if it's something you want to leave the audience with n i I can't I can't say that either cuz my team don't want me to say too much about more stuff you feel me so I can't say too much listen I'm I'm
