This is Dubai, a city so magnificent and so futuristic, it is hard to believe that this city is only around 35 years old. In that time, this place has grown to become one of the most beautiful cities on the planet. And with that beauty comes a massive amount of things to do here in Dubai. All right, guys, before we hop in, I just want to mention, my name is Mac Candee, if you're new here, also known as World Nomac, and I'm currently traveling all around the world making videos about things to do, cost of living and travel guides that are going to help you guys have an amazing time when you're exploring some of these destinations. Anyways in today's video, twenty-five things to do here in Dubai. It covers so many things from being out in the desert, city, to testing out some delicious restaurants and so much more. I will say, five of the best things aren't even in this video. I have actually made a separate video that covers my five favorite things I did in Dubai. But before you click out of this video, you'll want to stay till the end on this one, because there are so many things in this video as well. And then make sure to check the link in the description below where you can find the five best things to do in Dubai. That'll give you 30 things in total that you guys can do when you're exploring the amazing city of Dubai. All right, so let's go ahead and hop right in. Number one on the list, let's start with the easy one. You're going to want to visit the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building on the planet. And first thing I want to tell you is there's two ways you can explore the Burj Khalifa. You can just go outside from basically anywhere in the city. You're going to be able to spot the Burj Khalifa because it stretches almost a half mile in the sky. So it is a stunning building that you will want to make sure you at least go and walk around. Now, if you really want to get some amazing views, you can actually pay to go up to the top of the Burj Khalifa. You're not at the very top floor, but you're pretty much at the top. And you can see for miles and miles and miles in distance and there you'll be able to have 360 degree views around the city. So you can look at old Dubai, you can look at the Dubai marina, all of the big landmarks you'll be able to see there. And so after the Burj Khalifa, funny enough, you're actually already in the next spot, which is visit the Dubai shopping mall. It's actually the largest shopping mall in the world. So they even have an app actually to navigate around the mall, because it's that big. I'm already lost and I've been in here like three times already in the last few days. Super cool. You have everything from an aquarium, you have every shop you could ever think of, from luxurious to specific to the UAE and so many more. So make sure you make a stop over here. You will for sure get lost in this place. So Dubai Mall app will be your best friend. Number three on the list, while you're at the Dubai Mall, you want to make your way over to Black Tap Burger. This is one of the most famous restaurants for burgers in Dubai. And I'm super excited to be here with my man, Yad Ventures. (What's up, guys?) Have you been here before, bro? I have, it's one of the best burgers. Make sure you come and get the truffle burger. Amazing. I'm thinking about the craft burger, the Greg Norman. It was so, so delicious. But I think what even stood out more to me was their milkshakes. Oh my God, guys, the food has arrived. Look at this thing, look at this thing. The browny blackout. You're seeing a little spoon popping right out of the side here, along with two brownies, ice cream, chocolate chips, so much goodness. But I will say I was in a bit of a food coma for the next couple of hours after that. Obviously, it's not authentic Middle Eastern food, but Dubai has a taste of everything. And as we go through this video, you'll hear a couple recommendations I have for you. One thing to remember here is that the Dubai Mall, you can't order any actual alcohol. All right, and so if you need a place to go for dinner, also at the Dubai mall, I wanted to point out this super cool spot that I enjoyed, and it's called the Tulum Restaurant. Well, it didn't take long to arrive back here in Tulum, but it's a different Tulum than you've probably seen in my other videos. As you can see, we are right next to the Burj Khalifa with the LCA squad. What's up, guys? The reason why I like this restaurant isn't just because the tacos gave me a taste of Tulum, the actual reason is that the views they give you, if you get a table out on the balcony, give you some of the most amazing views of the fountain show. So Tulum restaurant, delicious food, great views. And then moving on to our next thing to do is to come down to the fountain and with all the ladies here. How are we doing, ladies? (We are not wet yet) Going to be soon! Yeah, you've got to come down to the fountain at night every 30 minutes, they have these absolutely amazing fountain shows. You can pay 20 dirhams and come down on this platform. It's like a bouncy like a floating platform, I guess, and you get a front row seat. But just keep in mind, you might get soaked because the fountain shoots up and you never know exactly where it's going to be shooting all the water because each fountain show is different. They have different songs playing for each, which means you're going to have water shot in all different ways. But let's see what this fountain looks like. So moving on to our next thing, which is the Dubai Museum, it's right down the road actually from the Dubai Mall. But the problem is, is when I was there, it was not yet open. It was getting pretty close to opening up. So hopefully by the time you're watching this video, you'll be able to go and check out this magnificent place. Personally, I'm not a huge museum guy and there's nothing wrong with them. It's just something that's not always as interesting for me when I travel. But I can tell by the way they've designed this. I mean, it's Dubai. They always make everything the best of the best. So I bet it's going to be a pretty cool experience. I mean, just looking at the design of it from the outside already, it's impressive, even if it's not open yet, just to make a trip down there to see it. And so moving on to our next thing on the list, you're going to want to make your way a little bit further down in the sea over to Zabeel Park. It is near the Dubai frame. So these two things you can go into together. You can actually enter with your MetroCard. So you swipe in and it's about five AED. So just a couple of US dollars to get in. So let's go see this place. Really nice atmosphere to get some fresh air and get that feeling of some space, some areas to walk around without that city feel, even though, of course, you're still going to be surrounded by some magnificent architecture. And speaking of magnificent architecture, one of those pieces is the Dubai frame, which is right next to the borders of Zabeel Park. And it is so cool and it's such a unique thing. I think it's somewhere around like forty five floors tall and it's just a massive frame. And the idea behind it is it separates old Dubai and new Dubai. And so it's absolutely an iconic piece of Dubai that you'll want to see. You can actually go up to the top and the place is open till 9:00 p.m. So I'm hoping that I'll be able to go up to the top, check out the Dubai City skyline. As you can see on each side, that is the frame, I believe, on one of the sides is where you take the elevator up. One thing I want to mention, though guys, to get into this place, it's about 52 Dirham in order to enter. So it's 50 plus taxes and that gets you into this area. You can get some amazing photos here. That's what I've been doing for the last little bit, is just finding the best angle. We are going 38 floors up to get to the top where we're going to have beautiful views of the city. Hey, thanks a lot. Correction, guys. We're actually forty-eight floors up, which is about 150 meters. Where I'm about to step on, is this glass and when you walk over, it should be able to see straight down. So I can imagine during the daytime this has got to be crazy. Luckily, the glass is pretty strong, so it's pretty cool. A lot of people I guess don't even want to step on it because it freaks them out. I mean, it's crazy. You can look straight down and see the bottom. So next on the list, you'll want to make it over to the famous Dubai marina. This place is super impressive for a number of different reasons. But first of all, it was nothing. It was originally just a beach area and they transformed it into a two-mile long, amazingly designed Dubai marina, The Dubai Marina. And I will tell you that when you're just walking around this area, there's something about it that just makes it so enjoyable to stroll. It was an area that I went probably maybe once every other day just to kind of walk around in the evenings because this city was lit up so nicely in that area. There were boats cruising through and it's just overall has a very nice ambiance to it. And so I think you'll really enjoy it. Not to mention there are so many restaurants along the Dubai marina that you will be able to find limitless amounts of delicious food from all over the world. Another thing you'll want to do when you're here in Dubai is come down to the Marina Beach. Well, it says Marina Beach in Google Maps, but it's actually the Jumeirah area. Here you're going to be able to find another really nice area that kind of complements the Dubai marina, except this one's closer to the coast. You have the beach right next to it, you have a bunch of restaurants. There's a bunch of different areas to go shopping. And you have a super beautiful view of both the Ferris wheel right behind me. And then you have some beautiful city views right there. Aligned right along the coastline there and it's a very nice area to explore. You can also find clubs like Bla Bla, which are really good time. I went there a couple times and there's just a whole bunch of things you'll be able to do from shopping to eating to walking around, and you'll be very impressed with how they have it laid out. Moving on to our next place. It's called the Buried Ghost Village. All right, guys, the next thing on things to do here in Dubai is to take about a 45 minutes to an hour drive out here to the abandoned village. I'm here with Amanda over here, from Ireland and over here (What's up, Yeva) from Lithuania. And we're going to be checking out this area. Guys, it's a super cool spot. We have this village that's literally under water with sand. Pretty crazy if you ask me. And it's my first time kind of out here in the desert exploring. And so I'm finally understanding why you need all the covering, because the sand gets in every crevice of your body. But it's super cool. Definitely a place you want to come and check out when you're visiting Dubai. While you're over near, the Buried Ghost Village, you can take a short cruise over to the Love Lakes, and you'll be shocked to find out that this is a heart-shaped lake that is completely manmade. There's everything from like these massive goldfish that, what are they called, Koi? There's also a flamingo lake where there's lots of flamingos, different types of birds and a lot of swans and a lot of wildlife. That is, it's quite odd to see out here in the desert because I mean, we're literally like, what, an hour and a half away from Dubai? Forty five minutes from Dubai. And it's literally like a whole ecosystem that was imported here. So it's really cool. Definitely a place you guys will want to come and check out. I'll be honest though, the reality is you can only actually see the heart shaped if you have your drone up in the air, because when you're just looking directly at the lake, it looks stunning. But you really can't see the heart unless you have an aerial view. It's still worth going over there and checking it out because they have a really nice walking track around the lake. And then in the center of the lakes, you're able to go up to this platform, get some cool photos. Everything's designed in this love type of architecture, this love type of layout that they put into everything. So it's a really cool thing. Bring a girlfriend, bring a boyfriend, bring whoever you're going to think. It's beautiful, though, although I will say make sure you go on a date that's not too hot because it's out in the middle of the desert. While you're out in the desert, you can also do some horseback riding. Honestly, there are so many different things you can do in the desert. But if you like going for camel rides, horseback riding, you have those options available. You can do other things like hopping on dune buggies. You can do car cruises through the desert. There's really so many different options. But in this one, we did some horseback riding and it was a super cool experience. I am out here currently in the dunes, out here in the desert, just about forty five minutes outside of Dubai. I'm here at Happy Dunes. We have Lenca the traveling beauty queen here. She took us out here to come to a little horseback riding. We've got Yad Ventures the man here currently operating, the drone and we're here at Happy Dunes doing a little evening sunset cruise. You can come down here for about one hundred and fifty AED to do a little horseback riding and get these picturesque views you have always wanted when you're coming to Dubai. Now, heading back into Dubai, you can make your way over to old Dubai. I actually covered part of old Dubai in the other video I told you about my five best things to do. But inside old Dubai, you can actually find souqs. So they are basically Arab markets and there is a gold souq that you'll definitely want to check out. Here is the gold souq. So this is one of the most famous spots in old Dubai. They actually have gold everywhere that you can purchase here, right in the market. So there are literally shops and places everywhere. It is lit up with everything from spices, to gold to all different types of things in this area. So it is going to be a pretty cool experience. For a number of reasons if you want to buy some gold, if you just want to look at how cool all of these shops are just lit up in gold or if you want to see a three million dollar ring. What I'm about to show you is the largest gold ring in the world weighing 130 pounds. Look at this massive thing. You've got to be an absolute giant to be able to wear something like this. Got a precious little diamond on there, too. Yeah. So you're going to need to have pretty big pockets if you're coming to pick this thing up. It's such a nice person. Great to have. Appreciate it. (Thank you, sir.) (So nice to meet you here.) Nice to meet you, too. He sells some really cool things here. He just gave me this. It's almost like a natural version of Vicks Vapor Rub. Oh, yeah. And it totally clears up your sinuses. So super cool if you're coming to Dubai, definitely connect with him. I love the new guy. Let's go. Thank you, brother. (You are welcome.) So moving on to our next place, about 20 minutes or 30 minutes outside of Dubai's downtown, you can actually find a place called Global Village. And what Global Villages is it's a large, basically fair festival type place that is permanently stationed there. We are here in Global Village, as you can see with the squad here. And they're showing me around the global village, which is said to be the largest tourism and entertainment center in the world, where it combines 90 countries into one theme park style place. As you can see, I've got a fresh new style here. They're calling me Muham-Mac, as they say. Can you say Muham-Mac? Muham-Mac. (There you go.) (OK, now you have to say Yallah Habibi.) Yallah Habibi. (There you go.) Where I'm fitting in as a local. So I said, shukran after, I'm going to be walking around this place for the rest of the day with my new outfits. And whether you want to go to shops, whether you want to go get some cuisine from these different places, or you just want to experience what it's like in each one of these areas around Global Village. You'll, you'll really enjoy it. And if you also want to get into some roller coasters, some thrill rides, they have those waiting for you as well. Sabina is about to face her fears. What are your last words? I just hope I make it out alive. I'm sorry if I say bad words, I don't mean to. Never again! Moving on to our next thing on the list, if you want to wake up with a stunning view of the city skyline and being out on the water, this one might be for you. Oh, and I should probably mention some great exercise. Make your way down to the Palm Island, as you can see behind me. I've gotten pretty lucky today with a sunrise that is heavenly. You see those skyscrapers in the background. Unreal. This is like what I came for in Dubai. But anyways, guys, I'm heading over to Riva beach. I'm going to caption that in case it's wrong. And we're going to do a little stand up paddleboarding right here at sunrise. So like, it's going to be crazy. I'm super, super excited. I'll see you guys once we get over there and show you what this place looks like. And you can actually go cruise out and see a beautiful sunrise. You guys want to introduce yourself, names and where you're from. My name is Tarek. I'm the founder of CH.E. And this is my business. I sell this equipment on my website. I'm Szabina, you know me, hopefully. But if not yet Szabina Trufys on Instagram and YouTube. So, guys, we grabbed these beautiful paddleboards to catch sunrise here in the morning at Riva Beach for about seventy-five dirhams. That's roughly twenty-two US dollars to go out here for an hour and explore this beautiful coastline here in Dubai. You can also do it during midday or in the evenings as well. But doing it at sunrise, you get an amazing view of the place before the busy-ness of Dubai wakes up. So speaking of the Palm Island, you can actually then after you get some paddleboarding in, make your way over to explore more of the Palm Island. Yes, that's right. The famous manmade island. Let me first off tell you some crazy, crazy facts about this place. So this manmade island took six years to build and cost a total of 12 billion dollars. So they spent 12 billion dollars to build this before putting any sort of buildings or anything on it. And so each structure on its own cost even more money to build. So the super cool part about it is you can actually see Palm Island from space. We're going to be exploring it at somewhere around three square miles, in area you can actually take the dedicated metro that's only specifically for the Palm Island and you can cruise it up over to an area called The Pointe. So this is the iconic Pointe. We're actually at the very tip right in front of the massive Atlantis resort, which is actually the first resort that was ever built on Palm Jumeirah Island. So it's a really cool spot to come and hang out. And last but not least, you have a lot of different options for food to eat there. Just got over here to the Classic Rock coffee shop right over here at The Pointe, I had heard a recommendation from one of my good friends, Szabina, that the coffee and the food down here at The Pointe was amazing. So I'm super excited to try it out. I got some recommendations from the guy here. And as always, if you know me pretty well. Also, a freshly baked chocolate cookie with vanilla ice cream on it as well as an iced latte. So that's going to be delicious. The presentation here looks amazing. The food. Oh, my God, I'm getting so hungry. Just looking at it right now. The nice part is you have some nice ambiance right out here where you can see the Atlantis Palm right there. Obviously, since you're here on The Pointe, you're going to pay more like tourist prices. It's not going to be one of your inexpensive local coffee shops. So for me to get those three items I mentioned, it'll cost me roughly one hundred and ten AED. So I want to say that's like thirty-ish dollars or so. Thirty-five dollars. But you're getting views, you're getting very high quality food. So definitely a place you want to come check out. Had some nice delicious breakfast that morning and some delicious coffee with beautiful views. So it's a really nice way to wake up in the morning and experience it. Next on the list, which happens to also be on the Palm Island, is to make a visit over to the Atlantis Hotel, one of the most famous hotels probably in all of Dubai. So the first thing I want to tell you about here over at the Atlantis Resort is you'll want to make your way over to the Atlantis Aquarium. I was deciding if I wanted to go scuba diving or snorkeling or just simply walk through. And basically, it's 20 minutes for snorkeling if you want to go, and it costs roughly eighty-five dollars. And then if you want to go scuba diving, it's for about 30 minutes and it only happens twice per day and it'll cost you around four hundred dollars. For me, that's the same cost as it is to get certified. So I didn't want to, I figured I'll just spend one hundred and ten AED, which is about thirty bucks, to go and explore the aquarium. Here you're going to have over twenty-thousand species of marine animals. After you've had some time exploring some of the marine life over there in the Atlantis Aquarium, you'll want to make your way over to the Atlantis Waterpark. So it is a massive water park with so many water slides. I'm super excited for this. All right we're starting off strong. I just asked the guy. I was like, what is the best water slide you have in the whole park? My heart's pounding right now. Pretty hard one for running up the stairs, but two, because this water slide goes straight down. So it's called Poseidon's revenge. And you hop right up in that thing and drop. Let's go. Wooooh! That was insane. First waterslide was a success, but my heart still pounding, I haven't been on a water slide like that probably since I was a kid where it literally just drops you straight. So it was it was quite the thrill. I have switched back over to the main camera, and the water park was so much fun. Even in the only two and a half hours that I got to explore this place, went down like five or six water slides and checked out the park. So I had a lot of fun with such a fun way to spend the evening here. So now I might cruise back over to where the The Pointe is and see what's going on there. I think there's like a fountain show and maybe a few more things. But this time I'm going to go to a different side of The Point that I showed you earlier. You're going to go over by The Pointe fountain. And I'm in the cab, there is really only one way to get over to The Pointe fountain. It is by driving so you take an Uber, you can take a Careem, you can take a normal taxi. And hail one because right now the tramway or the metro that goes along the palm, it doesn't have The Pointe station finished. So at some point you will be able to take the metro from Atlantis over to The Pointe. So I'm going to go check out The Pointe fountain now as the next thing to do. So I'll see you guys once we get over there. All right. So exploring a little bit more of The Pointe, and it is really nice that night. This seems like a great spot to go with a couple of friends, grab a nice little dinner here and enjoy the ambiance of the evening. I keep saying ambiance because I feel like The Pointe was made for that. You have just a very beautiful atmosphere right here. And I believe based on looking in the water right here, that's where the fountains are. And the same as the fountain at the Burj Khalifa it goes off every 30 minutes, similar to the Dubai fountain but it's a bit more colorful. And you have the Atlantis in the background. I would say if you're only going to go to one fountain show, I did like the Dubai fountain show much better than I like The Pointe. But The Pointe was still beautiful. If you have the time, I would still recommend going to both of them. And our last thing that I'll share with you on the Palm Island is you can actually go to some cool lounges while you're on the Palm Island, a super exotic and unique one that I really enjoyed. And I thought it was amazing. My buddy Adrian and I, we made our way over there. As our next thing to do here in Dubai, Adrian, (101 lounge, got one of the best scenes in Dubai. So it's going to be really cool to check out and test) right here on the Palm (right on the palm) so superexcited, (Not enough people to get in here, you know, it's pretty swanky.) Exactly. Pretty exclusive. As you can see, the surrounding, pretty legendary place. We've got the golf court escort bringing us over, Adrian style. (You know how it is.) (You got a good helicopter straight to one of the best restaurants in the world.) Exactly. Unfortunately, I don't have too much footage from inside of here because they asked me to not use my camera. So we're lean on that. But I'll tell you, if you're looking for a really cool lounge, you want to bring a date over there, it's definitely going to impress them because the views are beautiful, the drinks are delicious, and it's got a very nice ambiance to it. And next on the list is you can make your way over to the Park Hyatt Hotel. Here you're going to get a taste of Greece but in Dubai. At the Park Hyatt Hotel, you're going to have some super cool areas, picturesque to both get photos, some amazing restaurants there. Sitting right on the water. And you're also going to have a super cool beach club where it has an infinity pool looking out right over to the water. So you can either stay here for a few nights or you can do a day trip and you can pay for like a day pass into the lounge. You can go get some food there. I just went for the day and had an amazing time, but I can imagine staying there must be amazing. And next on the list is going to the area called DIFC. It is a picturesque spot if you're looking to see some beautiful architecture like you'll see all over Dubai and some photographic spots. If you take a look right behind me, look at this building right there. And you have a beautiful opening. So it's a great spot to get some super picturesque views of this area. So that's actually the financial district of Dubai. If I were you, I would recommend going sometime around sunset because you can see some super cool reflections of the sun basically lighting up all of these buildings among the skyline. And it's, it's beautiful, the architecture it's just yeah, it makes me very impressed with humans that they can put something like this together. Everything is just designed so perfectly in this area, actually in all Dubai. But in this area, I really enjoyed it. While you're in the DIFC area, you want to make your way over to our last thing to do. And that's the Grand Mosque. I really enjoyed checking out the Grand Mosque because it gives you that taste of culture right in the middle of the modern architecture. It is stunning for this mosque to be sitting right in between all of these buildings. And you can hear prayer calls sometimes. And it's a very, very picturesque spot. So guys that wraps up this list of twenty-five things to do. I really hope you have found it helpful. There are so, so, so many things to do in Dubai. I had a list of 50 things to do and I was only able to get through 30 of them in the month that I was in Dubai. But that said, I guarantee you, if you check out these things that I just recommended to you, plus you check out my other video, which is the five best things to do in Dubai, you are going to have the time of your life in this amazing city.
