it never hurts to learn a strange little trivia about our world from a city in China that's the size of the United Kingdom to an undersea mountain chain that makes the Himalayas look like toys our world is overflowing with Wonder and awe inspiring discoveries with so much information earth rarely ever gets boring it's so ripe with things to learn it would likely take thousands upon thousands of lists just to scratch the surface I'm Michael Lewis 25 and I'm Tristan with less 25 and we'll take it slow and start with these 25 strange and interesting bits of trivia about our world hey guys 25 Cuba is the only Caribbean island with a railway that's pretty neat miss Brittany we're gonna learn things today guys we always learn things well this is gonna be a different journey than usual because we're gonna learn new things unless we've repeated some of these facts this is a list we wrote years ago just Oh No so if they've already read this one 20 for less than 1% of the caribbean climbing up there yeah just go out there and start jumping a little bit you'll be closest human to the moon cool 18 the mid-atlantic ridge is the longest mountain chain on earth Wow at 40,000 kilometers that's pretty long that 17 well did you know that the Andes formed the longest exposed mountain range at 4349 miles Oh exposed yeah 16 glaciers store between 70 and 80 percent of the world's fresh water oh yeah we shall get straws and just drink it nature's sounds refreshing even though I'm sure it's disgusting no no it can't be it's got to be delicious I taste weird especially ice that's just been floating around yeah but we're talking about glaciers as oh it might be pretty salty though you know pretty salty place fifteen ninety nine percent of those glaciers are in the Arctic and Antarctic well how do you not know the last fact but now you're gonna tell me this fact because I just knew about glaciers and if you think about it no they're probably fitting this they're also gonna they're not gonna be glaciers in the mid Pacific or Atlantic yeah of course it's gonna be the Arctic man okay don't don't say it like that don't don't say it like that how many glaciers have you seen me in the Atlantic I haven't seen any glacier ice 14 in 1811 and 1812 three earthquakes measuring around eight on the Richter scale plus the Mississippi River to flow backwards that's really cool I remember that yeah also you were watching you read it it's right there I'd like to see a river totally just change direction I mean me I bet it's terrifying but see he's 13 the seven largest countries in the world Russia Canada USA China Australia Brazil and Argentina take half of our planet's territory 12 the trans-siberian railway crosses exactly 3901 bridges Wow eleven Naru is the only state in the world that has no official capital Tristan we should go claim it no you're not there I can be I'm gonna go run and plant the flag we're great our head start 10 there are 17 active volcanoes in Japan Wow I should see them all you should if they're going to see 17 volcanoes in a week maybe yeah Dorman 9 several buildings in Manhattan have their own zip code including a one Penn Plaza neat yeah I like Manhattan I've never been fun Never Sleeps Abe Montpelier Vermont is the only u.s. state capitol where there is no McDonald's no Mickey B's 7 there are no rivers in Saudi Arabia didn't know it but it makes sense it makes sense but I thought about this earlier it's kind of sad about rivers not existing in Saudi Arabia quite often quite often no but I was just like oh no one can be like let's go play in the river I don't know it's just feeling something's missing it's a river but yeah how often do you think about this Mike not often not often I have a friend from Saudi Arabia and she could never planner it and you think about this sure where did she complain to you something no six oh yeah well Lebanon is the only state in the Middle East with no desert oh I don't have a friend from Lebanon we also don't have deserts in Florida if you're from what I'll make one we have a lot of sand boxes of it now I like sand Wow it's coarse rough in the irritating and that's all well it but gets many places oh I don't have a friend from Lebanon but if you want to be my friend from Lebanon here watching this tweet us five unlike most African nations Ethiopia has never been a European colony I've also never been a European colony there's a lot of place that you haven't been no I said I've also never been a European colony that's where the comedic factor comes into play room for France Italy and Chile have formally recognized the existence of UFOs neat it is pretty neat it is pretty mean I believe in aliens do you believe in aliens let us know in the comments below well okay no they have to exist whether yes but no there's believes that aliens do not exist there's no way were the only place no center can you be fairy three the largest city in the world based on surface area is Holland they are Inner Mongolia which is a hundred and two thousand square miles or two hundred and sixty three thousand nine hundred and fifty three kilometers squared square kilometers worked I just want to hit in the lower third later on pudding great yeah two Lesotho Vatican City and San Marino are the only countries completely surrounded by one other country a lot of things are neat on this list I want to say we have views from that again cool views North Korea we sure do sup Kim meet Wow another neat thing not planned one these Sargasso Sea is a region in
