[Music] hey 1000k gang how is it going it's me your boy the wattles minecraft 1.17 already has a lot of really really cool looking blocks these blocks can be used in different ways to spice your builds up today build spices the game i've got 25 different 1.17 and build hack ideas for you hopefully once the game update drops you'll be able to take some of these ideas put them in your builds and make them look better if you enjoyed today's video or the ideas in it i would really appreciate it if you left a like and subscribed thousand k club the brand new dripply plant is really good looking like pretty much every single new texture it's clean it looks really really good now the drip lead plant of course looks like a plant but it also kind of in a way looks like a stool or a chair so that's exactly what i'm using it for here i've created a bar i put some drip leaf stools right next to it and boom there's tools now unfortunately there's no way to keep the drip leaf leaning down that would be really cool that would look really good but if you just place a couple drift fleet plants down it definitely gets the point across giant copper bars are two things uh definitely giant probably heavy to make things look a little bit more heavy place trap doors on either end of two copper bars just like this and then you have a weight if you wanted to you could remove the trapdoors completely and then you also have a weight but the weight is a little bit less heavy this trick will technically work with all trap doors but in my opinion acacia trap doors and jungle trap doors are definitely the best looking options here candles fit actually literally perfectly on top of end rods place an end rod down put a candle on top of it really any color but these colors are my favorite and then you have a really fancy candle stand or you can make another really cool looking candle stand one that will actually catch the candle wax for you with a copper bar then a candle this one is probably a little bit more realistic looking however that's definitely not the last time we'll see copper bars in today's video and candles aren't the only thing that copper bars hold really really well check this out i have a copper bar with a pot on top with a plant inside of it to create a fancy floor plant stand moss blocks are basically amazing now unfortunately this one might go away if this is actually a bug and it ends up getting patched but as of right now moss blocks can be placed on the ground and then saplings can be placed on top of them and then those saplings will never grow you can finally actually decorate with saplings maybe you're terraforming maybe you have like a garden something like that place moss blocks down next to grass and then boom you have this right here saplings that will never grow okay this one is really obvious i'm pretty sure every single youtuber said this as soon as mossy blocks were added into the game but mossy blocks moss layers grass even more grass like plants yup that's about the best looking field in the world for sure hands down ever well we haven't seen the lightning rod in a minute so i figured i would bring it back for this next one the lighting rod makes the perfect table stand as well so check this out i have a piece of orange carpet on top of a lightning rod next to two chairs table for sure now if orange carpet isn't exactly your thing you could use a copper slab it gets a little bit heavier looking maybe your chairs would need to be bigger but it could work or you could just use a different color carpet something like brown carpet might work really well or a trapdoor too you have tons of options here ponds are always nice ones are a really good way to spice up pretty much any area to make the pond even more spiced up drip leaf plants the small ones and the big ones for sure absolutely now if you wanted to you could get creative and put some on the outside of the pond with clay blocks but in my opinion the small drip leaf plants look a little bit better inside of the water maybe you could come in with a couple big drip leaf plants outside of the pond next to it and then definitely lily pads switch a couple blocks out bone meal under the ground to create seagrass and then this pond they will literally win an award one day okay this one might kind of blow your mind azalea bush they're cool looking of course great for terraforming also great for a table actually so check this out look at the azalea bush now the leaves imagine that as a green tablecloth and then the stem underneath of course that's the table legs that right there is about the best table that we have ever had in minecraft in literally it's 12 years of existence and and it works with the flowering one too it's like a flower pattern tablecloth fancy restaurant vibes right here look at it this is it's it's perfect there's nothing else i can say it's literally perfect in my chairs they've unfortunately aged maybe like copper chairs might fit this a little bit better clean brand new shiny copper look at that that's the best table in the world you can't change my mind moss blocks are great in the ground but they're also great on the ground as a fancy looking hedge maybe you're building a modern town or you just have like a neighborhood like in your server or something well place a couple of moss blocks on the ground outside of your bases and the best looking hedges way better than leaves in my opinion have been created look at that the vibes right here they're so peaceful okay so this next one might not end up looking as good once the update releases if the texture has changed but let's say no textures are changed everything says the same if that's the case look at this floor right here this is kind of crazy if you were thinking copper reminds you of something that's already in the game well purpur purper is probably what it's making you think of because look at this the textures the cut copper the burper they line up like literally perfectly so purple already works pretty well as a tiled floor it's an interesting color for sure maybe in like a bathroom or some kind of themed build that would work really really well well in 1.17 thanks to cut copper you could make things even more interesting looking in my opinion the fully aged cut copper or the not aged cut copper looked the best here but technically any of them would work if you were doing this as a floor though i would highly recommend using one color of copper so all non-aged all aged all some stage in between whatever you want just wax your copper don't let the copper age and look all random this is already a really busy design and a bunch of different textures might kind of look weird it's honestly kind of crazy how perfectly these textures work together like look at it i i love it it's so cool these are like almost the same thing different shades of course on the clean copper you have the diagonal but on the weathered one it's kind of random like the perper that is so cool i i really hope these textures don't change very much but normal copper how could we use that well that would actually be really simple check this out normal copper blocks like solid ones like that one right there work really well in chandeliers now the vibes coming off of this thing are kind of steam funky but this wouldn't necessarily have to be in a steampunk build so i started with a lightning rod then i went chain chain lightning rod copper block acacia fences chains and lanterns hanging off of the thing at different heights which look really good that's a really simple chandelier that looks like like amazing so glow lichen was added in the glowiest snapshot the glow squid one glow lichen is actually kind of amazing next i'm going to show you a couple different ideas for glow liking but first up underwater decorating so glow lichen it's kind of like mossy looking under the water here i put a stone block put some glow like it on it the stone block looks a little bit more interesting it definitely looks like some kind of watery film is growing all over the place in here now uh on this small scale it doesn't really look the best admittedly but if you have like a giant river ocean lake something like that around your base and you put glow like it under the water on stone blocks of his cobblestone blocks it would look really really good and if it were to turn to nighttime you'd get a little bit of a glow too which could be cool but glow-liking it's really cool looking you can place them on any side of a block top bottom sides it all works it definitely doesn't only belong under the water it's so cool that you could maybe place it on the ground on top of concrete with stone slabs next to it to create basically the best looking modern sidewalk fancy ever look at this this is amazing glow-liking is such a big deal and i didn't even realize it in the first snapshot check this out so concrete my problem with it is it's so flat like compared to the other blocks in minecraft like logs or whatever you would be building with it's just so flat in playing but not anymore check this out so in this example specifically glow like and on top of the block sink it down into the ground and it's like i said a perfect roadway or sidewalk or something now you could do this with the concrete powder too but it definitely gets a whole lot more busy so for this one probably just hardened concrete i'm using light gray other colors would definitely work maybe you're building some sort of like fantasy building you want like yellow paths make a yellow concrete path put glow-like it on top of it that path isn't flat and if it becomes nighttime just like with the water one you're gonna get a little bit of a glow too the glow isn't much but it's nice and like i said glow-liking does not only go on the top of a block it goes on the walls too look at this right here maybe you're trying to use concrete in your build but it's just too flat well consider glow lichen now with the other colors it's gonna look a little bit different but with white light gray and black this actually pops and it looks really really well it probably blends in the most because of the tones with the light gray concrete but like i said it works on all of the other ones too glow like it is actually potentially a pretty decent way to break up a block that is usually almost too flat to work with speaking of other things that glow uh but not so much this time at least right here here we have the cave vine but the cave vine isn't in a cave it's actually in a tree to make the tree look way more interesting now these vines have actually grown i would recommend keeping these vines at different heights maybe you could stop them from growing with like string or something and maybe try and keep glowberries off of the vines but check this out vines hanging from the tree this looks so good and so realistic looking and if everything stays the same you can't climb them they're just kind of hanging here so it's not like something that you could walk into and accidentally jump and start climbing it's just entirely decorational now in my opinion this works amazingly on these giant oak trees but these aren't the only trees that this is going to work on this would work really well on jungle trees too but like i said maybe stop them from growing and definitely keep them at different heights if you keep the vines at different heights things will look a whole lot more realistic looking only problem here cave vines can't actually be placed on the bottom of leaves right now you're gonna need something else what else would work well actually the moss block blends in pretty much perfectly here so moss block all the way the only thing if you're going with the moss block you might want to put it like surrounded by leaves or something because from the side it does start to look a little bit more obvious but from the bottom you can't really see it too much so it kind of works out nicely well the lightning rod needs a little bit more attention so check this out lightning rod with a bell hanging from a block doesn't have to be copper could be anything and you have the perfect hanging thing for a bell instead of a chain lighting rod 37 more fancy so this one this one this one i was really excited with this one right here so admittedly the redstone is just kind of thrown together you could definitely do it better conceal things make it look a little bit more cool but check this vault door out look at this lightning rods are maybe the most useful thing ever for building in 1.17 check this out i have a couple sticky pistons back here with honey blocks and they're just retracting and pushing out retracting and the copper bars as the door to this bank ball i can't get it in here could definitely no way to get through that thing okay yeah maybe it's not the best for actually keeping things out you could probably mine through that pretty quickly but if you're in your single player world and you have like a treasure room you have to admit that would be a really cool looking door like with the bars and you could actually move them and then you could do them in other spots and in the other spots they're just like a window or something that's pretty cool so candles candles actually haven't gotten very much love in today's video i mean i showed them off at the beginning but they're really useful actually in this example i'm using them as different chemical vials this would definitely work best in an enchanting room but if you're building a more modern build maybe place these on the counter in like your kitchen you could use the red candles like ketchup yellow was mustard lime is maybe like a cleaning chemical like an insanely hazardous cleaning chemical like a cleaning chemical that should be nowhere near children like nowhere near pets like actually probably nowhere near the kitchen because it's most likely poison nice so when candles were first added i saw this idea like right away probably on twitter or something i'm always on twitter but candles dynamite tnt so they all work really really nicely together the candles that work the best in this setting definitely the red candles for separate sticks of tnt sitting around on the ground or you could use the red ones as wicks but in my opinion a white one probably looks the best as a wick if you wanted a tnt wick that has been burnt and matches the top of the block perfectly black candle or you could even go with the plain old candles too uncolored ones either way though tnt candles placed on the ground separate sticks of dynamite that's like amazing looking put some redstone dust on the ground around this place too in like a basement or something that would look really really good but that's not all the candles can be used for candles also make basically the perfect stem like ever check this pumpkin out with a brown candle on top that fits perfectly and like i said best stem ever frequency pickles same with melons green candle and then you could actually make your own plants too over here i have some sort of gigantic brown one with a brown candle on top cool looking over here a gigantically massive apple and then some kind of i guess green apple to a lime apple i don't know look at it though the candles with random blocks they instantly turn almost anything into some sort of gigantic plant maybe you set these up around your giant wheat field or just in your farm or something like that this could definitely make a farm look a little bit more realistic looking unfortunately in 1.17 rabbits will most likely not have a good time they won't like the update very much because rabbit hide becomes useful if you want to make bundles you're going to need a rabbit pen if you want a rabbit pen you're going to need rabbits and if you want those rabbits to be happy carrots for sure everybody knows rabbits love carrots and candles orange ones kind of look like carrots candles are also amazing for chandeliers so this one's a little bit more complex but if you break it down it's actually really simple so i started with the ceiling block that could be whatever then you could do either chains to have the chandelier hang farther or you could do two lightning rods they link up like perfectly then i came in with glass panes now really you could use any colored glass panes i think white ones look the best clear ones might look pretty good too i placed one in the center one coming off of every side candle on top of each end then i went down and basically skipped a layer then i created a square and did the same thing i placed glass panes coming off of all of the flat sides more candles and then on the bottom i put a couple more glass panes and boom gigantic fancy chandelier with candles now if you wanted to in some spots you could actually double up on the candles it starts to look a little bit weird but it could maybe work or you could do colored candles to match like a theme like a purple build or you could leave some candles like unlit maybe it's like an old broken chandelier finally we're gonna end on a really simple one today a fence probably spruce or dark oak maybe oak would work too with a couple flowering azalea leaves stacked on top make amazing looking flowering bushes or small trees but that one right there is actually our 25th idea and the end of the video those are 25 different build hack ideas if you liked this video you should definitely leave a like and if you're not subscribed well then you should definitely subscribe only like 40 of you are subscribed which is a tragedy so definitely subscribe if you liked this video good news there are probably going to be at least a couple more really cool 1.17 blocks and i actually had a lot of other build ideas too keep your eyes out for a sequel sometime in the future but for today that's gonna do it today big shout out to my patrons bruce renegade baby and bill geek thank you so much for the support thank you all for watching it's been me your boy boy goodbye
