.25 CENT DAY at this Thrift Store!

[Music] all right what you guys are seeing right now is quarter day at the saint joseph flea market meaning everything is one quarter [Music] let's see if we can't find some gold what is up internet retro here and we are at quarter day at the saint joe catholic flea market what is quarter day it's exactly what you probably think every single item is a quarter they do this like two to three times a year this huge sale where everything is a quarter it doesn't matter if it's a huge item or a small item one quarter uh last time i came here i got a sweet mario plush from the 80s you could tell it was from the 80s because he was super derpy looking he did not look anything like what mario looks like today but i picked that up i actually missed the last quarter day that they had and a buddy of mine came and he said he was one minute late to a huge cart of sega genesis games not only genesis games but a lot of them were sealed uh he was like they were right there in front of me and a guy had got to them before me so i'm not holding my breath that we're gonna find that today but that would be an amazing video if we found sealed sega genesis games that would be amazing but i'm about 30 minutes late they opened up at 8 o'clock hopefully they still have some cool stuff let's go check it out all right guys we are walking into the quarter flea market 25 cents an item that is crazy it does not matter if it is a lawnmower or a piece of candy it is a quarter uh is pretty nuts you guys tell me uh down below do you guys have anything like this in your area have you ever seen anything like this or is this just foreign it is pretty crazy i think this is the only one um in in my area that does this but uh tons of cups tons of clothes knickknacks toys and that is where we're going to start here are tubs and tubs of toys ranging from newer stuff to i have found stuff from you know 70s 80s within you know all these different tubs that they have so that is what i'm gonna do i'm gonna go through all these tubs right now of toys now i'm only gonna show you um the highlights of some of the stuff that we find because i think i genuinely go through this stuff for like you know 20 minutes but you know i cut it down to just a couple minutes for you guys just to show you the more notable items um that we find but um again just tons of little knickknacks and toys all within the stuff so let's see some of the stuff that we pick up here is a superman um any any of this kind of stuff i'm gonna get uh for my uh for my booth that i have at this convention that i go to every year and i keep talking about it but i'm about to get a booth also at a flea market so you know get a big tub of toys for a dollar that that brings in people into your booth and then in hopes that they buy more stuff so there's a little pokemon frisbee there's a sweet cd player from back in the day and i think there's a there's a robin right in the middle of the screen i don't think i end up picking him up but guys it's hard to not want to pick up every single thing when it is literally a quarter so i still had to be selective on what i got but um but yeah so here's a power rangers motorcycle that is from the 90s it is pretty beat up but i still pick that up because that's just it's just cool i don't see that kind of stuff around very much anymore uh again just going through stuff here is spider-man any kind of like marvel superhero stuff i'm gonna pick up because i can sell that um you know kids buy this stuff uh so fast guys holy crap i completely forgot about this power rangers watch the wrist communicator is for contact enough for five and jordan so that was one of the first things that i saw that uh really hit me with some nostalgia because i remember that watch i had as a kid and i completely forgot about it here's a goofy with a bowling ball not sure why i left him i believe here are oh guys remember these dinosaur pump toys somebody call me we were all tiny and the cave kids were giant they could make us move and then a strange voice said no every mcdonald's dollar 99 hamburger happy meal comes with one of six dynamotion power dinosaur toys like pearl and everybody's favorite baby i remember that toy so specifically and i loved the dinosaur show such a great show also right here guys this thing this thing i have not thought about since 1995. i remember having that weird mcdonald's toy back in the day and it just opens up and you look into it and i haven't thought about it in years and years and there it is uh here's the power rangers little morphin thing the power morpher buckle is used calling your ninja swords only now at mcdonald's you can get your own power ranger movie gear four to collect one with each happy meal you buy so that goes with the watch amazing had to pick that up uh you guys tell me what is your most memorable happy meal or burger king toy growing up that's the question of the video i remember specifically the mario line with a little koopa troopa and luigi on the cloud i loved uh the mario toys but you guys tell me what was your most memorable burger king or happy meal toy okay right here guys this is another one that i forgot about rufio who's the scurviest pilot of them all now there's mcdonald's hook happy meal with toys based on the new movie there's a mermaid that swims or a lost boy squirter one bath toy with each happy meal you buy it's just crazy to me that that is like still floating around you know 25 30 years later at a flea market so crazy so we picked that up here is a little plush waldo i loved some waldo back in the day and uh here is a delorean anything back to the future i am going to get so i couldn't tell if this was like an old piece or a new piece but uh really cool to pick that up and i i had to get it also right here is a little chucky toy all right post toy stuff i'm not really interested in a lot of this um there are some board games over there i'm gonna go check out here's a crocodile glass sometimes you can find some cool glasses in here i found an old mario glass at one point these are always kind of cool but they're newer but uh yeah i'm gonna keep looking for a little bit i'm gonna go inside and see what they have uh inside all right before i go inside i found two of the batman forever glasses these are really really cool i always think this is crazy they're made in france right there so these are a quarter uh two of the riddlers and then there is batman and another riddler so i mean for a dollar i've got to get all those here are all the knickknacks collectibles but at some point somebody wanted that oh he's cute and there's charlie brown so yeah just like the most random array of things you can think of i don't know anything about any of this stuff but here it all is man guys i have quite the bag of stuff so far thing is full let's keep going y'all this is a throwback yikes pencils yikes are the only pencils as unique as you yikes are pencils and erasers without raging shapes and colors that go straight to the core cuz you can't look sharp with doll pencils sorry dad legs can't work miracles they write like other pencils but they make you go yikes this is basically like uh the boys version of lisa frank wild and crazy school supplies all right last stop before we go inside uh board games puzzles that looks like a super old operation trivia adventures okay i'm not seeing anything that i need or want to pick up no like 90s board games always looking for 90s board games oh that's cool old school hungry hungry hippos are like a miniature version or something oh hello teletubbies [Music] oh they just channel surfing man okay i don't see i don't see much out here but uh let's pay for all this stuff a quarter each and then um we'll go inside see if they have anything inside the regular store i don't know how much this is about to be i mean there's a lot of stuff in here 20 i'm gonna guess 25 bucks one two three [Music] four five [Music] six 36 37 38 39. hey wow perfect i saw that twenty-one [Music] all right i always start off by hanging the left and looking at all the toys that is horrifying it's like one of those uh beanie baby protectors now i don't know what toys are gonna be over here since they have all the toys outside here's a og waterfall waterfall tommy toy ring toss game 10 bucks it's pretty steep and there's no stopper not for me but i have found some pretty good toys through here sometimes i think last time i was here i actually found some uh zelda twilight princess books and some goosebumps books it looks pretty light today what is up with all these fans man these things are so loud all right let's go to the electronics so this is the flea market that i come to for the 50 cent uh remote i have found bose remote sony remotes i flipped a bose remote one time from here for like 48 bucks got it for 50 cents here's some sony cd players five disc cd changer that was hot stuff back in the day okay nothing for electronics now let's go to dvds games vhs i'm gonna pick up these just since they're a quarter maybe sell them all together for maybe 12 bucks or so but it's only a dollar since they are all a quarter today i love quarter day i actually think i'm gonna pick up these uh paw patrol dvds for my kid he loves paw patrol [Music] all right about to go check out got some more good stuff for a quarter we're gonna have to go through all this stuff and get back to the house because it's just too hard to show everything right now but sweet day at the quarter flea market i usually have perfect change for you so it makes it easier [Music] thank you so much all right guys huge haul this is full and this is full we spent 13 total and got all of this stuff i can't even show you all of it in the car because there's no room so let's go back to the game room and go through all of it all right guys this is all the stuff we picked up for 13 got all this stuff over here the media for three dollars a quarter each and then all the toys were a quarter each as well ten dollars flat uh with the glasses so 13 all in there's nothing too insane in here but you know this is the stuff that gets people in to my booth or gets people into my booth at the convention you know you see a dollar toys a box of dollar toys that's bringing in kids it's bringing in adults and then hopefully they get in and start buying other things so let's go through all the stuff that we got we got jurassic park three on vhs for a quarter i guess i'm not gonna say that because everything was a quarter the lost world um this is not the lenticular one i actually don't see that one very often always on the lookout for it uh star wars trilogy special edition all of this was a quarter so she didn't charge me you know three uh for three separate vhs deploying dynamite i actually don't have this so i thought i picked that up for a quarter got these for my son and then this is pretty cool t2 ultimate edition judgement day uh yeah great great to have in the collection uh and then never ending story one and two so i love both of those not a big fan of the third one and then four four muppets movies muppets from space muppets take manhattan the great muppet caper and then the muppet movie so over here are those batman glasses i looked up on ebay like just this one just the batman one sells for like 10 to 12. the riddler ones sell for about eight so you know you're looking at what is that right there 24 say say 34 to 36 dollars just in those glasses maybe 30 on the low end so awesome to pick those up anytime i see those i will pick those up it took me forever to finally find those and now i feel like i find them every time i go to flea markets let's look at some of these figures i don't know this clear guy you guys tell me if i if i don't know any of these guys i want to know who they are um so who is this if i can get close enough most of these are like burger king and mcdonald's toys so here so there's him superman shrek what else what's in here that's kind of noteworthy this is kind of cool but when i looked at it further it looks like it's missing something over here looks like i had a cover but you know again i can sell that for a couple bucks so let's see this is this was kind of cool a little wind-up chucky and then this is actually a pokemon pokemon puzzle that has not been opened okay what is are these i mean it looks like funko pop is this a funko pop situation or is it it looks like it is a burger king thing i don't know it looks looks cheap i'll say that here's a boba fett figure it's kind of cool some star wars pieces uh who is this i did not know who this was you know i thought that was a pretty cool little guy this was a cool find if it wasn't all beaten up looks like it doesn't even have the um handlebars but whatever it's fine got three of the pump toys and look they're working so i got three of those got a dunkin butterfly yo-yo who was a yo-yoer back in the day i was more of a yo mega man but that was pretty cool to pick up and then i got that from my son because again paw patrol this this one hit me really hard the rufio mcdonald's little water toy some superhero figures this one too this one hit me super hard the power ranger stuff knocked me out man i love it i love whenever i see this stuff that you know i mean this is what i do i love nostalgia i love you know all this stuff that i collect in the game room but then i still continue to find stuff that i completely forgot about i i forgot about these i had them as a kid and now i have them again so i'm probably gonna keep i'll probably keep these and then throw that in the dollar men but these are really cool it's got extra little medallions in there hacky sack for a quarter a couple back to the future items so i don't know what this is from it it does look somewhat old maybe 90s and then this is old marty mcfly on his hoverboard 1991. so that was cool to pick up i actually already have that but cool to see and then there's an alf but guys that is all the stuff that we picked up for 13 bucks most of it will get sold but again just cool
