25-06 at 1,000 yards!!!

[Music] hey everybody how you doing this is about to be a really fun video it's been a minute since i had my 25 on 6 out and today i'm hanging out with my buddy at alabama arsenal channel y'all go check out his channel and subscribe this was requested a lot you guys asked us to shoot to 25 out of 6 000 yards that's what we're gonna try to do here today way down over there we've got some silhouettes at a thousand yards but this is my ruger m77 hawkeye shout out to gun prime i bought this one from gun prime right now it's hard to find anything and found it at gun prime and the ammo i've got is this federal fusion um if you guys can see that this is 120 grain not typically what you'd use to go shoot a thousand rounds but out of this rifle that stuff has gotten the best group so yeah that's putting them in the same hole i'm gonna give her one more click and then call her done ruger hawkeye 2506 federal fusion and we have a right on scope on top rito in and yeah we're gonna flank some bullets slide this in at 100 yards and we're going straight to a thousand i think we can dial it in but let me show you my uh sheet here there's that scope we got this moa scope so based on my calculations for this round we're gonna need to dial it 29 moa so let's flink some bullets see if we can hit a thousand all right so uh he said it he don't think i can hit it on the first shot i don't either but maybe we'll get a miracle i got four left out of this box i'm gonna load four real quick and then my calculations say to dial 29 clicks moa so that's what we're gonna do and see where this bullet hits oh half the time i don't know what i'm doing um but i think i know what i'm doing here go all the way up to 29. there's all there's one that's 15. well hold on i went 14 the next one is zero so that's 15. okay so this scope got me to 15 plus nine that's not enough uh what is 15 plus nine that's 24. so then i need to hold over five right let me see what this scope's got yeah so the scopes i'm gonna have to hold over five moa inside the reticle we'll see how that works out ready all right scope all the way up and cranked and that's literally all this scope has in it too it's 5 moa in the reticle all right send this one and see where we're at all right i'm going to shoot with just four first just to make sure i'm not going over it here we go here we go [Applause] do you see it anywhere i heard it i heard it too but i didn't see it but here we go [Applause] what is that 25 odd six yeah the bullets might not move that plate that much i came off of the scope so that was that was holding 28. yeah so maybe maybe i did we'll hit it first shot we'll we'll check the footage but it it can't i came off the scope i'll do another hold there at a 28 same [Applause] hold okay that one was uh pretty far right how far foot in half two foot what about the up and down up and down was low but you would have hit wow low on target which you wouldn't hit so that hold is probably decent i'll just hold a hold a little just a little yeah that felt good it was in between the larger man target and the smaller man target almost perfectly okay i'm gonna hold you ready okay you came up but the uh you're you're still right like really right i'm gonna dial something that wind is uh kicking around a little bit down there i like this rifle though [Music] see the two kind of darker areas in between the two targets it looks like two bullets hit uh yeah i think so those are your hits okay give you an idea of judge distance is that like a whole moa you think it's probably more than that because it's a whole nil so it's like it would be like three moa that's why it's good if everybody has the same let me take a shot at two okay two right wait no i just doubt it the wrong way see wait no it's right so i need to dial it left yeah that's right all right see where this hits [Applause] i didn't see it [Applause] i thought i could stay on with this one but i can't [Applause] i don't know did you change up and down at all nope [Applause] okay okay i got you that was right below the target um if you came up just a little bit i was holding dead center so you were holding dead center yeah if you came up i don't know about foot [Music] quarter mil so i say if you came up about one i mean two mla would still be a hit but you need to come up based on that last shot i got a hold up because i already maxed out my scope all right here we go it was yeah i wasn't gonna say anything because uh i was thinking we could hear it but i didn't hear it i didn't hear it yet so that hit there again let me do that exact same hold i held uh another half moa so it was uh for the sake of my numbers as 28 and a half i'm going to write it down before i forget in 30 seconds [Applause] two in a row wow i got more bullets in here than my last year i'm holding dead center hold with 28 and a half i'm dialed for 2 moa windage that one flew off to the right hit right yeah that one flew off to the right hit right yeah all right i got one more in here you want to shoot this one but there you have it 25.6 got it dialed in at 100 yards at the house then brought it out here and pretty quick we got it on uh real close at a thousand and got a couple hits there but uh 25 out 620 grain cheapo federal hunting ammo and we got it decent enough groups to where we're getting hits at thousands i wouldn't take a shot on a deer with this that far uh but the the round will absolutely do it and if we had some sort of match ammo we we would be doing even better uh but as always
