welcome to Kurdistan this incredible historical region covers parts of Iraq Iran turkey Syria and Armenia it's also one of the best places to explore Iraqi culture and that's what we're doing in this documentary I'm taking you to erbil the biggest city in idaki Kurdistan we're exploring the local livestock market The Citadel Bazaar and even getting a Kurdish haircut and of course we're diving into the food kebabs bajilla kenafe baklava we're trying it all to show you what Iraqi Kurdistan is really like let's go to Edvard Kurdistan Iraq assalamualaikum guys I'm here in erbil Kurdistan of Iraq today I'm going to take you to explore the night market and you know we just got here we're on our way to the Citadel and we saw a livestock market and I had to stop they have ostriches they have chickens they have goats they have bunnies follow me let's walk through here okay we had no idea what's going to happen we got stuck in this traffic and we're like what is this look see our chickens you have hands so roosters this is amazing though look at this this is baby ostriches I've never seen them like this in my life obviously the ostrich is huge right incredible let's walk around here yeah there's never any chickens right all right let's go this way let's see what else we can find this is intense I'm excited we just got here we're flying out tonight but we're excited to be here right so we got turkeys and we have geese Swan right there right oh my God these are these are scary I don't put my hand near them let me see if we find anything else what else we got okay look at it there's a little goat right go right here we go right here stay ready to go you're gonna like around me it's like a baby Ram okay so we're basically all birds right it's a mix of birds that's it that's what we got here so the market extends like really really far out did you see people come here and they buy their chickens their geese this is all for restaurants for homes it's amazing look at this [Applause] beautiful my daughter would love this she would like touched them all day got a little birds here what we got they're different types of roosters here you got all babies whoa bro it's about to get intense are you ready for this all right so I'm seeing just like a bunch of like sesame seeds nuts uh lots of different spices so right here looks like more nuts and spices see what you got here look these are all seeds like for Birds right I mean Virgie all this this is all animal um food right incredible I don't even know what most of this is we see some seeds here right here seeds these are grains these are grains yeah I mean seeds and greens sorry bro I'm a little overwhelmed with the with the chaoticness and I'm also watching myself here not to run into anybody that's what you got so a mix of livestock spices grains and uh you know what else we got some nuts over there in the far back whoa whoa dude it doesn't doesn't end man tosses what do you think I think this is insane first few hours in uh an excitement actually have we seen a market this Lively this like a late no I don't think so and they just uh the driver just let us know that this ends by Sunset so we have like a few minutes left so let's go from India oh my God it's so funny so funny oh so right here we have Guinea now go man it's really intense bro there's a few hours it's like it's wild bro it's wild but it's modern at the same time it's amazing the great thing is everybody's super friendly they're just like hey what's up where are you from okay so here we go four more birds it's like this pigeons so I think we should go to the Citadel because it's getting late and we're starving we're hungry we're gonna have some street food tonight Kebab or Bill Kebab you see it's amazing that's what something I didn't mentioned earlier we came here for that literally they go to the bazaar to go shopping to eat the herbal uh kebab and I don't want to get hit by a taxi so I'm slowing down Louis it doesn't end oh whoa okay okay okay just look at that it's super sweet so fluffy nice and crispy yes I'm already tasting guys tiny bits oh yeah this is nutty oh my God how is this whole thing oh so good here one more little bite let's take it down it's like fluffy we said no more sugar on the street but it's the last name wow so milky right that's good but you know what that one's very unique I haven't had that creamy before this one is super nutty that's true but you know like the nuts on the side yeah what are we doing here gaining weight let's go wow that was intense let's go all right so we're in a bit of a traffic jam here trying to get to the Citadel we might miss Sunset but we're still going to get views we're gonna see the castle from the outside and um and then after that we're gonna go in right but this is awesome I mean lots of Life uh 1.5 million people here but it's a circular City so it's like a center and then everything goes around it and Roads that keep going around and around and around oh man like a Bazaar in the ripe is on the left they're selling uh everything from magazines newspapers CDs which I don't even know how they still exist um clothing look the car CD yeah all taxis in our Vietnam cities wow so naturally wow a little early the traffic jams insane right now let's go [Applause] I don't know if that was for me or what happened there but it's pretty amazing they're just like all over the place so we have more connected we have shoes basically like a mini Bazaar all out here look over here wow this is amazing so where's the where's the actual Bazaar that we're going to this is mother of the Citadel and this is the Sequoia and that is amazing look at that yeah oh wow it's like Big Ben small version what do you think bro what do I think I think this is insane this is beautiful so excited I mean I'm concerned that these are last night here but uh in the same time we're gonna make the most of it right well unfortunately they closed like an hour ago and they said we can't go up so very sad but it's okay we'll continue I mean still lots of action you know to cover here so you know it's okay let's go sorry really no I don't worry no problem okay so we're gonna go up to this Cafe and get some views for looking everybody wow and they have kebabs nice Taco Bob's here and this is the view look at this what a view we have the Moss we have like the clock tower we have the bazaar we have kebabs we have shisha this restaurant looks amazing everything is good we know we're going down we're gonna go eat some kebabs or Bill Style thank them right here good tasty yeah let's go all right so we're going to see how to make the kebabs you're going to be amazing Lots kebabs here got chicken we got lamb we got fat and you're the fire eight chicken wings we have chicken tikka we have onions we have tomatoes we have lamb we have what else uh kidney or liver I don't even know I think it's liver right yes that's right straight up okay bro it's so good so fresh right got some bread right yes you can let's make the mini sandwich so the river put some onions of course some some some Tomatoes yes I love this what about rubber right inside oh my gosh yes amazing wow so so like just like falls apart right it's not like stuff together and I got in some pickle now pickles organs right here lots of things coming more more things coming oh my gosh yogurt yes yogurt so what is that it's real good look at this look at that oh my gosh guys they just brought me the balls oh still super hot the balls through the balls of lamb she's like fat looks like fun can I try something it's literally like a spongy yeah he just took it off the grill right it's good right it like melts oh yeah that's different bars of the Lamb fat at the city it's you got to do here when you come we only had a half day I recommend definitely two days it would be way better of experience just going around experiencing this like to its full Glory right and guys I
