22lr vs 22 magnum - How Many Milk Jugs???

hey everybody how you doing this is about to be a really fun video I've recently got my hands on a 22 Magnum rifle I've had hundreds and hundreds of requests to do videos on a 22 Magnum and have never shot one in my life but recently got my hands on one this video I'm super excited about today we're comparing 22lr hollow points verse 22 Magnum hollow points catching them and milk jugs and seeing how many milk jugs it takes to catch either one of these and just for this video series I went out and got some CCI ammo and some of you might be thinking all big deal Whoopie but if you know me well you know I'm super cheap and CCI has never even been in my vocabulary until today but here today we have the CCI mini mag hollow points and then also oops we have the CCI maxi Magdala points so you can see the difference in them there the Magnum isn't quite twice as long which you can see there definitely is a difference between the 22lr mini mag and the 22 Magnum maxi mag so that's what we're going to be doing it's either both the hollow point versions gonna shoot the 22 first then the 22 Magnum should be a whole lot of fun now that I've gotten into shooting 22 Magnum I absolutely love it I'm not gonna give up on my 22lr simply because the ammo is so much cheaper but let's get to shooting should be a whole lot of fun I don't know if the Magnum is gonna go further or what but from experience I do know that 22lr hollow points will expand but let's see what happens alright now here goes the 22lr the CCI mini mag hollow points let's go see what happened walking down to the jigs there's definitely a hole through the first one and into the center of the second one out the second and into the third and we're still in the center there and we have a hole in the back and a little hole in the front of the fourth one but that doesn't look like the bullet came out so I'm gonna pour out this purple third one and see if that bullets in there actually I'm gonna look in there first hmm don't see it looking in the top but let's pour it out over here and see if we can find the bullet hmm there's parts of a bullet in there there's some copper jacket in the third one did the bullet go into the fourth one it had to have either that or it disappeared somewhere well let's pour this one out well let's do the same thing and look down in there yeah the bullets in the fourth one I can see it through there see right there and a sinner at the bottom is the fourth one so let's pour this one out quick and get this bullet there is the CCI 22lr mini mag hollow-point expanded let's go shoot the 22 Magnum CCI maxime a hollow-point see what it does cost that 22lr mini mag and the fourth jug I have no idea what's gonna happen with the Magnum but we're about to find out here goes the 22 Magnum maxi mags same exact shot looks like it annihilated the first jug a little bit better there let's go see what happened walking up to it we had seven jugs and there's still one two three four five six seven there but the first jug is completely exploded then the second jug has a hole in the front there and look at that no hole out the back so let's look into the second jug and see if we can see that bullet there hmm this one still has quite a bit of milk floaties in it since that one's kind of foggy I can't see the bullet or not but when we look over at this third one there is not even a scratch on the front of that one so let's pour out this second one see what we can see here try my best not to lose the bullet if it's in there I'm pretty sure I can hear it in there so actually you know what let's look at the bottom of it yep there's a bullet right there in the corner so let's pour it out here and there it is so check that out there's the 22 Magnum CCI hollow-point same bullet weight of the 22lr but look at the expansion now let's put that side by side against the 22lr around look at their difference there so here's the top side of the bullet and there is the bottom side of the bullet those magnums are going almost twice as fast and you can see how much different devastation they have going that much faster thanks for watching the video today guys that one was a whole lot of fun how many of you guess that the 22 Magnum would go into more milk jugs I bet you most of you guys even though you don't want to admit it but pretty cool to see what happened to the 22lr it got stopped in for the 22 Magnum got stopped in only two water jugs but pretty cool comparing the 22lr versus a 22 Magnum in the exact same rounds thanks for watching the video guys don't forget to leave me comments down below ideas for future videos big shout out and a big thanks to the heavy metal guns and outdoors channel everybody go check them out and subscribe we'll catch you on the next one
