all thank you for being here and um could you tell us a little bit about the pbv system the business system of course K releasing P into the market is much more than just new car launch so we have built a dedicated business system to provide customized solutions for each customer domain the KBB business is the Pinnacle of our customer Centric business approach as we have engaged customers from the very early planning stages we continue to listen to customers requirements and we replate their feedback into the development of our products and business models in fact one participant called it I b a groundbreaking process that has never been tried before I believe that such a deep engagement with real customers gives us a unique insight into creating pbbs that will maximize business efficiency and usage experiences so he has been working closely with customers in developing the products that we're seeing here at CS so can you tell us a little bit more about the hardware aspect well we already did an excellent job in introducing the pv5 as well as the pv7 and pv1 so I just like to add that KIA pvvs will deploy a dedicated skateboard based EV platform this platform will feature interchangeable upper bodies or what we call live modules existing LC businesses build Vehicles which are not designed for conversion from the production stage that can result in costly time consuming and non-friendly processes to remove attached parts from the completed Vehicles we at Kia have streamlined this complex process to further strengthen Hardware flexibility our easy SW technology allows us to satisfy customer requirements in various domains and respond to the most segmented needs with a fully dedicated platform and host of specialized Technologies KVs also differentiate themselves in terms of durability space utilization and operational functionality so for example you can quickly change from a home office to a camper or even a camp um or even you know different according to your lifestyle you can have different layout so with this High degree modularization what does that mean we plan to expand use cases from people moving and delivery to Urban Centric realtime delivery and ride sharing domains so could you also tell us P about the pbv manufacturing system well you know many of startups are attempting to make the transition to the new Mobility Paradigm but they still have difficulties bringing mass production to reality at K however earlier this year we began the construction of our pbv dedicated Wason Evo plant in Korea our initial PBB production capacity of 150,000 units per year in 2025 will grow gradually and globally to 300,000 units we plan to establish an Innovative highly automated production system that unifies the newly introduced cell method with the original conveyor system to allow flexible production and more customization options one of our Innovative PV manufactur Technologies is called Dynamic hybrid which is a worldless body structure assembly method that allows for horizontal and vertical expansion of cross members according to the varying needs of the customers some pretty impressive technology but now let's look at the other side of the key Ops the software side so when a vehicle is developed around the operating system we we can improve so many aspects of design and usability we can truly focus on the customer and constantly adapt to their needs so let us start with the in vehicle infotainment or ivi the ivi solution is designed to make daily life as smooth as possible it recognizes the user their purpose and operational needs in real time automatically loads the user's profile presets and preferences and provides useful and relevant contextual data yes Kim and K voice control ivi solution will provide access to the kvv App Market as well as third party developed apps installed apps are continuously updated Vota that means that our customers can enjoy the latest information and entertainment sorry content on the go and they can seamlessly access personal data supported services such as charging parking and payment and by connecting the IV system with business specific apps that were previously limited to to mobile devices both service convenience and information reliability can be improved through control and monitoring in other words you can enjoy a holistic user experience regardless of hardware for vors thank you next our Fleet Management solution or FMS it enables customers to seamlessly manage multiple ppvs the FMS solution supports small businesses in Mobility or Logistics by collecting all relevant data and providing actionable insights so that users can keep track of things like Sales inventory and deliveries the solution also mon monitors the inventory in the cabinets controls the temperature and reduces downtime by intelligently planning your roof based on how items are stacked in the cabinets it can also arrange a seamless transfer of a specific cabinet to another pvv for example the last mod deliveries with the pv1 likewise the FMS solution can display the context and condition of items in the frame for increased convenience and efficiency the scope of interior flexibility is also enhanced thanks to the ability to Monitor and update seating Rangers directly from the screen thank you very much Karim and in addition we can control we can use the vehicle data API to control and manage the best amount of data generated during PV operation in real time and connected with AI in the cloud to manage AG FS more efficiently also business insights such as predictive maintenance based on driving patterns and other vehical data help to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency so lastly are EV charging Solutions they're cleverly optimized they do so by taking into consideration battery charge levels roots and schedules as well as breaks and me and Meal Time the system provides optimal charging scheduling and charging station guidance that's right and in addition we aim to realize a total Energy Solution based on Advanced charging infrastructure such as v2x this makes it possible to use existing high aim to be the sustainable Mobility Solutions Meanwhile we're also continuing to discover new creative opportunities pairing KFVS with robotics or Advanced Air Mobility or a we're enhancing automated we're advancing this philosophy and investing in the future is by providing stem education opportunities for young students across the country today we're announcing a new chapter in our partnership with 10-time Olympic medal winning swimmer and proud stem Advocate Katie leeki and introducing a new program we've developed with Discovery Education it's called innovators for impact and we're confident it will inspire young students to pursue further education in science technology engineering and math through an exciting virtual journey to Japan to explore how Panasonic is promoting more sustainable living thank you mean in line with a vision for a brighter future for people on our planet we are putting forward number of sustainability and circular economy initiatives one of these an exciting in alternative to Conventional plastic manufacturing called kinar while plastic make a more than lifestyle possible they are well-known pollutant kinar is more sustainable substitute made from up to 85% cell fiber are recyclable and biodegradable material kinary comes from renewable resources including ca coffee grinds and even byproducts without kinary many of these materials would simply be thrown away this is already a huge step up from traditional Plastics but Engineers are hard at work developing Kary into a 100% biodegradable material including its binding Regents canari is a perfect example of our circular economy business model we hope it will set an example for what can be done with Drive Ingenuity and a few simple natural ingredients canari is already being applied in the real world in fact canari is one of the materials that we use to create the structures in our booth at this year's show uh then there's a bioc CO2 technology Humanity must reduce carbon dioxide emitting activities in manufacturing and power generation in the meantime we must MI co2's impact one way is to use carbon for good Panasonic is working on a method of utilizing carbon dioxide as a resource to promote growth in farm crops this bio transformation technology is a process that turns carbon dioxide in the air into a wicked that can be used to accelerate crop growth bio2 TCH soles two problems at once it can feed those in need with better crop shield and effectively utilize CO2 we expect our bio CO2 Tech to increase crop field by 40% or more it's also essential in hum carbon neutrality quest to make more efficient use of the energy we produce even more energy comes from Renewables much of it is lost before it can be utilized this is where Panasonic dams comes into play We developing distributed energy resource management or dams technology to reduce the energy loss and increase efficiency our load of flexibility in the home system manage the household appliances understand the energy builds and help users save energy it work together with time of use rate system like those being trial in California to improve grid balance our Dam system also optimizes EV charging and discharging with a regional energy supply and demand helping smooth the transition to EVS this feature is in trial in the US our cyber security monitoring will also Pro detect Power Systems detecting attacks and helping avoid disastrous power outages canari bio2 and our derms technology are just some of the exciting developments that are contributing to the Panasonic Greener impact vision for a Greener Society we unveiled the Panasonic green impact Vision in 202 to here at CES this Vision seeks to make an impact of 300 100 million tons in reduced CO2 emissions through our business by 2050 today we can proudly report on the recent result of this Vision we have brought 31 of our factories and sites to Caron neutral operations we have reduced our own emissions to the tune of 9.39 million tons and have achieved 30 7 million tons of avoided emission as of March 2023 what do we mean by avoided emissions it's the amount of emissions that we have helped reduce for our customers and Society through our services and products this year we've deployed a variety of Innovations Technologies and digital solutions to achieve 37 million tons these include EV batteries air to water rication energy saving Goods heat exchange ventilation and more some of these Innovations are on display at our booth please come by and have a look the concept of avoided emission is one we are very fascinated about and we have gone to Great length to spread the world with advocate for avoided Mission throughout 2022 and 2023 at the G7 Hiroshima Summit last year avoided the mission was specified and the G7 Hiroshima leaders communicate acknowledging its importance in addition to our own avoided emission goals our hope is to expand the scope of global avoided Mission by inspiring others through our advocacy for our part aim to achieve 93 million tons of avoided emissions by 2030 we consider this a great start but the work does not end until the ultimate goal of carbon
