hey everyone mandy lee here so it has been a while since i have given a tour of the tag trailer by noo camp so today i'm going to give you a quick tour and i'm going to point out some of the changes they've made in the 2023 year model all right we're gonna start off walking around the standard base model of the five wide tag because it does come five foot wide or six foot wide as some of you know this one has a lot of personal meaning to me my first tag ever was a 2015 tag and it's this classic vintage look with the stripes that really attracted me to it so i absolutely love that you still get the fenders and the trim color that matches the stripes you have the two doors one on each side so that you can access from both sides you don't have to crawl over one another coming around over here we've got our standard 30 amp plug so that if you are in a campground you can plug into shore power there is right above that a connection for cable in case you want to put your own tv in here and watch cable tv down below here you're going to see your outdoor shower which is totally awesome all you have to do is use a little pop-up tent and voila you've got yourself a little shower and here is all of your water connections to fill your tank or hook up the city connection moving on around back we have our outdoor kitchen this is really awesome so this is like the ultimate tailgating machine we've got our sink with a nice tall faucet right here underneath the sink we have plenty of storage the microwave does come standard however you can work with your dealer to have that removed and have a cabinet or you can use some handy work of your own to build something super awesome and custom right there now standard the tags are coming with this really awesome otterbox cooler it can actually be used as a backpack as well it's a lot larger than you might think when you open this up it's got just plenty of room down in there and you don't have to worry about it draining your battery or anything like that now in the standard model there is still plenty of room back here where the cooler is set so if you wanted to put your own 12-volt fridge in there there's definitely a place to do that now right above that refrigerator compartment in the corner there is plenty of outlets you've got 12-volt usb and 110 and finally there is a really spacious two burner stove right here with a self igniter on it so it's just super easy to use okay next we're going to take a look at my favorite version of this camper it's the boondock edition of the tag which is exactly what i always hoped my original tag always was and now everything is in there this is the six foot wide one so we're also going to get to see that difference between the five and six foot wide you'll also see this is in a color scheme that they call dark mode it's this dark gray with black which i also think is just super sleek looking with the boondock package what you're going to get is the really hearty boondock handle you're going to get the yakima rack on the roof and one of my favorite things brand new with the 2023 edition is the redesigned fender this fender goes all the way from the front to the back of the camper the front part will serve as either a step up into the camper or as a seat and the best thing ever because i'm pretty sure i'm the reason they did this they have made the fender sturdy enough to where you can actually stand on it now i definitely broke mine and then the fender goes all the way along the back which again you can stand on it so if you need to access whatever you put on the rack on the roof it just makes it super easy now you might notice this super obvious thing right here again another update to the 2023 models they have put the spare on the side of the camper i love this i think it doesn't ruin the way it looks but it's super easy to access you don't have to get up on top or down below um so i think that was just an ingenious idea all right moving around to the tongue again we still have our classic boondog platform which is really nice it allows for a lot of extra storage including right in front of that tongue box since the tire's not there anymore inside the diamond plate tongue box which by the way the diamond plate tongue box is standard on both the boondock and the regular edition this tongue box is plenty big to hold two propane tanks and extra room for other supplies that you might want to carry outside of your camper alright let's go to the back of the camper and check out the six wide kitchen this kitchen is pretty much the same as the five wide kitchen except it's a foot wider so you get one extra foot of counter space and an extra foot of storage as well you can see under here really huge storage still have that microwave and um again the otterbox right here same sink same stove just extra space now let's take a look on the inside of the tag okay first we're going to take a look around the inside of this camper now the boondock and the standard editions are the same on the inside this one however is the six foot wide versus the five foot wide the only difference is you get that one extra foot of width which is going to give you more bed space and extra storage for the cabinets because they're a little bit wider there isn't much that's changed in the last couple of years except for 2023 they did add two extra storage cubbies they're located up here in the each corner next there is plenty of light in here as i pointed out before there's three big windows one on each side plus the skylight window and you have these two little porthole windows in the doors and the best thing about these windows is that they have built-in shades and screens so if you want to block out the light they have this really dark shade and if you want to open the window but keep the bugs out there is a built-in screen as well the windows open all the way if you want a lot of airflow or alternatively there's a little notch built in so that you can lock the windows cracked open which if you've ever had condensation problems helps a ton with that now every tiny trailer camper's biggest worry is where am i going to put things so let's talk storage really quick at the foot of the bed there are two really large cabinets in the middle we've got another big cabinet right here it also has hookups if you want to put a tv in here above the head of the bed you're gonna have two really large cubbies for each person behind the head of the bed there is another panel with sliding doors that will allow for quite a bit more storage as well as a shelf to put stuff on and finally underneath each side of the bed there's a hinged panel that will pull up with plenty of storage under both sides of the bed there's also a net that can be used for many purposes but this only comes in the boondock edition we have a 5000 btu ac unit which i'll tell you in a minute will run off of the lithium batteries if we do that upgrade within this panel here in the corner is access to all of our fuses so if anything ever blows out it's really quick and easy to get to and then in the corner over here we have a 110 heater so if you're plugged into shore power you can be nice and toasty we still have the same beautiful wood trim here on the ceiling with the nice ambient lighting it just makes it feel so comfy in here on the wall right here on the passenger side they have combined the co and co2 detector so those are no longer just kind of stuck up on the ceiling up here closer to the head of the bed you can see they've moved the outlets from the wall down sitting into this recessed compartment which is really nice you've got usb 12 volt and 110 plugs you've got a cup holder on each side of the bed and of course this is where the fire extinguisher is going to go because you know safety third i mean first and each side of the camper does also have this reading light which will go blue for easier night vision and white um just for a nice little reading light there all right now let me tell you a few things that are kind of under the hood standard the tag is going to come with a flex solar panel mounted to the roof a lead acid battery but no inverter now they are offering a lithium upgrade package and that is going to come with two battleborn lithium batteries that are 100 amp hours each a 2000 watt inverter and the victron smart shunt which is a battery monitoring system which is going to allow you to install an app on your phone and always see the status of your battery now one of the best things about this package is that with that inverter you're going to be able to run all of your 110 outlets off of the batteries and you can also run the ac and the heater for short periods of time off of your batteries pretty cool and last i'm going to give you all of the nitty gritty details because they are rather important all of the versions are the same length 13 feet 7 inches the 5 wide's exterior width is actually about 6 foot 8 inches while the 6 wide is 7 foot 8 inches the height of the standard tag is going to be 75 inches the boondock edition is going to add about four inches so you're looking at 79 inches on all of the models you're going to have an 8 gallon fresh water tank the total weight of the 5 wide is 1 213 pounds the total weight of the six wide is 1 390 pounds and if you add the boondock edition to either one of those it's going to add about 200 pounds to the total weight we hope you all have enjoyed checking out the brand new 2023 new camp tag as always if you've
