2023 Honda Pilot Elite - owner review

this is my review on the 2023 Honda Pilot Elite purchased it Saturday in Jonesboro Arkansas she's a little dirty wasn't able to get a video until now foreign [Music] does have the option to open the trunk with the under kick well it does I just have to figure it out I haven't had time to play with everything it has it's been raining the last couple days and it's just been sitting in the garage it does have the under storage here for the little seat but none of that in there the middle seats second row you push this button up let me pull this cord I don't know how to do that yet there's a lot of room in the back this middle seat does come out I'll keep it in just to have the cup holder no pull this okay and back seats getting down I do wish I had the feature for a push button but it does not I think you can do it with one hand I'll try [Music] and format goes all the way for protection [Music] I'll probably keep mine down like this all the time I love the extra cup holders my 2011 pilot did not have any of that in the door panel so it's definitely a plus the ambient lighting all of this under here on the drivers and passenger lights up the door handle lights up and under here lights up as well it lights up under the dash area the beat light up and it has a little light up where those lights are so at night if you need to turn those lights on there's a little button there that you can find them easier like glove box [Music] um I do like it has these little foam pockets kiddos phone pocket has that pocket and there's like a little pocket up here and get something in it does have the rear controls back here this does not have ambient Lighting on it but the door handles do light up oh it has this feature like if you're doing groceries you can push this button once it realizes that you walk away the hatch will then shut I'm not sure that's okay [Music] the closes or opens with your foot [Music] the back of the pilot does look a lot better with little box here but much better than the generations before once again it does have the shoes raise your wind areas sorry it's cold if I'm sniffling okay Dash I have not played with the dash and features on that much yet so if there's anything y'all want me to answer just let me know um everything it does have a different what's up there lets you scroll through what you want to say on your hand a little thumbs so you can scroll through and change how you would like things to look your heads up display it does have the heads up display the brightness of your panel if you have a map going on your navigation it will kind of come up and tell you it won't show a picture of the map but it will um until like 10 miles to next turn and stuff like that but I mean the screen's right there so it's kind of shows you your tire pressure um you can also change let's see design that you want to look at you can do the round for your goes around let me see if I put a job I had it in bar mode and I believe the bar when you have the minimal round and minimal bar that just means once you get going on the road these little side um like right here go away thank you okay on your screen you go and reverse the camera comes on it does have the all over around your car I don't know the correct names for all this stuff but out of 2011 it didn't have old school stuff so I also have it set up once I hit Drive after reverse it brings up the camera for what's in front of you I do wish that the rear view mirror or the camera um it does not give that option it's just a regular Ruby mirror I don't even think for the price point it would have the camera mirror but it doesn't dreamline well let me get there sorry the Streamline look up the dash let me two clothes I got my stream on look of the dash I do um like how this is all smooth all the way across you do have this little pocket here which I love you put sunglasses stuff like that it's a lot smoother steering wheel is heated it does get very hot phone charger I like where it's located the rear controls Drive area push button everything it has a nice size console the cup holders are large that's nice and again I like that it has the cup holders and the door panels okay let's look at the camera the volume button I didn't know if I would like the style but actually um I drove it into town yesterday and I needed to turn the radio down kind of quick so it was nice to have a quick little adjustment there this is the home screen apps that it has available back button the display is a little smaller than what you would think you would get in today's car but I didn't have one before so I'm happy um it didn't bother me that much uh it's got the radio navigation um of course on our drive home I had my phone hooked up and my Google Maps was on there trip computer I haven't even actually looked at or played with any of this yet um the one thing I'm not happy about I cannot get my Honda link to work I was reading reviews on their app and I guess it was updated earlier this month and everyone's having problems with it so I cannot use the Honda link right now which is a sad but um I'll do that and then they just get back to your home click that so anyway that is my short little review I'm not a blogger or vlogger or anything like that so this is just mile overview of my pilot I'm happy with it I wanted a new pilot a few years after my 2011 but I did not like the design of the new ones they looked a little I don't know mini vanished to me so as soon as I found out they're redesigning them knew I wanted one I've loved the you know reliability of Honda so I was so excited when they finally came out with it but if you have any other questions I didn't get in this just post a comment and I'll try to answer them thanks I also forgot to show the feature of the panoramic roof did get rid of the foreign Entertainment System is the top part opens um section but you can open the entire partner this doesn't second part [Music]
