2023 Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max Price Review | Cost Of Ownership | Features | Practicality | Facelift

Cherry just did something I haven't seen before they introduced a brand new facelifted Tigo 8 Pro Max model just after introducing an 8 Pro Max Model A few months ago and you know what I am not complaining in this review we'll take a look at its practicality I'll show you the new design upgrades on the new model we'll take it for a drive talk about its engine very impressive engine and as always we'll discuss this cost of ownership so ladies and gentlemen let us get started for a while my dear viewers you've asked me to review some cherry Vehicles well good news Cherry South Africa invited me to the official launch of this brand new Tigo 8 Pro Max model we were in kzn so shout out to all the locals in kzn and we'll kick off this review by talking about how it drives this top speed model comes with a 2 liter turbocharged petrol engine which produces a very impressive 187 kilowatts and 390 newton meters of torque to compare it with the car you all understand and a golf 8 GTI has 180 kilowatts and there is 70 newton meters of torque so this produces more power a more accurate comparison would be with the Tiguan R line but that only produces 162 kilowatts anyway the point is this thing is powerful it goes as you can see on your screen you have different driving modes including a spot mode so am I saying it's a rocket ship with popping sounds and all that stuff no while it may be quick Cherry's focus with this one was making it a premium luxurious SUV and they nailed it the suspension is comfortable even when you're driving out on the highway there is hardly any wind noise it is very well insulated and the best part is whenever you need to overtake or when you need that power you know 187 kilowatts is more than enough to get the job done in terms of safety let me quickly mention this you get nine airbags nine airbags I'll tell you more about the safety features a bit later first since this is a family SUV we'll start by talking about the boot space as you can see it has an electric tailgate with the third row seats folded you get 739 liters which is very decent space if you pull up the third row of seats then your boot space decreases to 117 liters I'm not sure if I'll get this car on test if I do I'll review it properly for you guys with suitcases and anything else I might find or even sit in that third row of seats but for now let's take a look at the normal back seats when it comes to space there's plenty of new room and leg room no one should have any issues there you've got two rear events you've got a USB and the USB type-c at the back but while we're here in the back seat just take a quick look at this beautiful brown leather seats this look good anyway you have a center armrest with a slot for two cup holders as well and on your seats you'll notice the word Tigo speaking of Tigo it's time to go get it Tigo to go ahead and talk about some of its features sorry about that guys sorry on the bright side I haven't made an iPhone 14 pro Max joke yet so I'm on the right track speaking of the right track we're on our way to 50 000 Subs so if you ever liked this video please like if you haven't subscribed Please Subscribe support local YouTube guys it's the right thing to do coming back to infotainment system you get a 24.6 inch double screen now that screen is split between two screens a 12.3 inch instrument display and a 12.3 inch touchscreen the touchscreen has Wireless Apple carplay and Android auto a lot of features a lot of functionality and you also get ambient lighting as you're seeing on your screen as you know big fan of ambient lighting great way to set the mood great way to be romantic while you're driving or parked anyway because this is a seven seater you might need some help maneuvering the car around don't stress you have a 360 degree view camera and it is very clear now before we talk about the light bar and the new Illuminating Cherry logo let's talk about the safety features you have front Collision warning you have autonomous emergency braking you have Lane departure warning traffic sign recognition blind spot detection and obviously you have adaptive cruise control now there are things in this review that I didn't show or take videos off but I'll mention them you get a panoramic sunroof you also get heated and ventilated front power seats and most importantly you have an 8-speaker Sony sound system because this is a voice over you can hear the nice pianos we are playing but we're listening to our gundam style there and all those other songs and the sound system is fairly decent I like it hopefully I'll get this car and be able to show you these things properly but I'll post a short video on Instagram of the sound system now I'd like to bring your attention to that brake light on top and the light bar so those are the new changes they've made to this new model that light bar looks a little familiar hmm maybe it's just me so from the front it's a bit difficult to notice the changes but from the back you won't miss this one you'll know this is the new model without even trying but speaking of the front the most obvious change that you'll see well at night maybe is that the illuminating Cherry logo it's one of those things that aren't even necessary but they look cool I approve of this message well done Cherry well done and Tigo you'll get to see that every time you open your door now let's talk fuel consumption the claim fuel consumption is 7.6 liters to the hundred now what would I get in the real world well I would have to test this car first and tell you but what I can tell you right now are the prices and the fact that Durban is beautiful I'm showing you this for a reason you see that Lighthouse over there it's gonna play a key role in a few seconds so this is what Cherry used to show us the prices what I even told you is that there's an entry-level Model A Tigo 8 Pro Model not Max Pro it starts at that price you're seeing on your screen right now 609 900 Rand and then the model we've been talking about now throughout this whole review comes in at wait for it wait for it okay this is taking a bit long should I edit this or just leave it out like this I don't know let's see what's happening yo I'm sorry 669 900 Rand that was a pretty epic price reveal well done Cherry well done so add 669 900 Rand your finance will come to 13 097 Rand over six years at 12 interest a full tank will cost you around 1 164 Rand and if you got an insurance premium of 2 300 Rand it would bring your total cost of ownership to 16 561 Rand but if there is one thing people always want to know when it comes to cars like Cherry is it reliable that is always the number one question well I don't know I don't own a cherry but what I can tell you is that it comes with a five-year 150 000 kilometer warranty which is very generous and if you are the first owner I'm sure you've heard about this one you get a 10-year 1 million kilometer engine warranty for your service plan you get get a seven year ninety thousand kilometer service plan so if you're buying into the brand at least you know you're backed up for those years if Pro Max just think about it it's about the size of a polo Apollo GTI it's got a panoramic sunroof all the nice features are standard it's got a nice exhaust is a spot hatchback Cherry I'm telling you
