2022 Manga Collection 1000+ Volumes!

[Music] alrighty what's up guys welcome back to new video east coast manga it has been way too long i know with this particular video there's gonna be a lot of people who maybe this is their first time watching my channel or watching my collection video whatever whatever so i'm not going to get into the details of where i've been it's mostly just been i haven't had my bookcases as you can watch my last video before this one i didn't have any bookcases and it's basically been that same setup other than i've actually moved my stuff around a little bit i think since the last video but without getting too much into it i'm just gonna go straight into the collection um before i like to preface though in my collection videos that please don't judge your collection based off of my collection or however you want to phrase it a lot of the stuff like i would say probably 60 percent of my collection i managed to get for anywhere from a dollar to like four dollars of volume some of this stuff i've gotten extremely cheap like all my volumes are one piece i got for probably right around a dollar i was able to snag so many deals off a facebook marketplace comic stores just a bunch of local stuff and you can go way back i think this is my third year collecting now and honestly guys i'm just so happy because all of my manga if you haven't been uh keeping up to date with my channel all of my manga has been in storage for the last like i don't know since august maybe i've had one bookshelf now i have two billies and i have a target all my books are out it's looking fantastic i'm super super happy and last right before we get into the actual collection video i do have a write stuff affiliate link down below uh it is you guys have helped me so much with that all you have to do is guys use it like it starts to add up and man it i'm telling you right now it has helped so much in 2021 so without further ado let's get into the 2022 manga collection video all right so i'm going to show you guys a wide angle of what we're working with because i know some of you guys are probably curious because i did post my last video showing off my my place but i live in a studio so it's it's limited space but it's nice uh to get into this we have one billy two billy i think that's probably a ikea um i can't remember the name but it's it's smaller than a billy my my tv is actually on top of a bin that was holding my manga um it looks ghetto but don't worry about that that's gonna get replaced soon kind of couch area this is a little messy don't worry about that but and then this is a target bookshelf all right so coming over here um i have my closet my bed over here this fits pretty perfect so we have at the top some comics and stuff or graphic novels this is kind of trash the show is like a thousand times better i really couldn't even get into this it's it's just very different it's i don't know i didn't really find it that good mouse which has been in a lot of news and stuff as of recent when i'm making this video because some state i think banned it from their curriculum or whatever attacker titan anthology this is basically some random attack on titan stories that graphic novel art artists or comic authors or however you want to put it actually drew and made and i kind of put it into this book batman the killing joke i thought it was overrated it's not bad by any means but i just i expected more from the way people talked about it saga amazing this is if you don't own this i highly highly highly recommend you can get it in a like giant like all-in-one or you can get it in smaller versions this is a hardcover version but it is so good it's even if you don't like graphic novels if you like manga i guarantee you're gonna like this next you have all you need is kill good also kind of overrated i feel like every single person has in their collection and it's just kind of i don't know it's it's not bad i just remember maybe the ending not really being that good i don't know i haven't read this yet i can't mix things it doesn't really have a lot of text and then the walking dead i haven't read these yet but i got them for a really good deal a while ago and a common theme you're gonna see throughout this collection especially as of recent i haven't really read a lot of stuff recently because like i said it's been storage i wasn't gonna go through and pull things out just for the sake of reading it's it's really complicated unless you've kind of been in this situation before it might be hard to understand but just not having these things out in in front of you it makes me like less likely to to read unfortunately next we have berserk we'll start over here we have king of wolves this is really good this is from kataramira and bronson i'm not sure if that's how you pronounce it that is the mangaka for shoot i think it's for fist the north star i can't remember 100 but i'm pretty sure it's fizzled the north star this is a really good volume if you like intermura i'd highly recommend you get this it gives very berserk vibes this was written before berserk was written actually really good i i really like this one gigantomaxia honestly mid if you aren't a huge fan of guitar mirror if you're not like if you don't need to collect everything he's dropped then i probably wouldn't even recommend it to be honest it's really not not that good nothing special but berserk one through 15 and then i have some more in the back i'll show you guys this shelf is pretty much all double stack i'm gonna get risers at some point i think for this shelf definitely for the billies but we'll see if i'll be able to fit it on the shelf next we have eden it's an endless world uh some of these are still wrapped up just because i haven't actually started it yet still missing a couple volumes but i'm actually decent way through in terms of collecting so i've one through five and then i'm missing six and then uh eight through eleven i'm missing and then thirteen i believe this is the last volume so uh working my way on that next we have beck a mongolian choc's mongolian chop squad i've heard really good things about this i have one two and four and like i said once again guys a lot of this stuff i've gotten for incredible deals by bulk so you know i like to label myself more as a collector and obviously i'm a reader right you know i've read a ton of stuff in here maybe the way i talk about it doesn't seem like i've read a lot of it but a lot of stuff like i said i've kind of picked up by bulk and haven't gotten to yet but if it's in this collection it's what i want to read because i have a whole big old ben downstairs of stuff that i just decided i don't want and i'm probably going to sell so moving behind um i don't wanna do this i think there's just a couple volumes back here so moving behind here we have astra lost in space one through five that is complete that's a good story i'm not gonna say it's overrated because i i don't think it's overrated but it's i don't know it's good it's good and then i have uh berserk up to 35 i'm sorry those are out of order and i have 36 37 38 and 40. so i need 39 it seems like and then i'm not sure if there's after 40. i kind of picked those up there's some things that i don't have up to date because i kind of picked up volumes randomly when i could but it was during the time in the last like since august where i wasn't really reading much i was more so just picking them up because i needed i know i needed those volumes next we have gto a bunch of random vault and not random volumes but like i would say i have a decent bulk but i'm still missing some volumes like i don't have one and two so i couldn't even start this if i wanted to but i have not uh worked on any of these volumes in a while so i can definitely look around and see what i can pick up next i have gto 14 days in shonen are shown on whatever it is one thing got kind of a decent bulk but not all of it quite yet then i have blood blockade battlefront i know for some people this is uh kind of a grail series now i don't believe the manga is actually very good but i know the anime is very good a lot of people really like it and it is quite a hard manga to find i've kind of pieced this together i think two different places i don't really remember where i got it but if you guys remember in one of my hauls maybe you can leave it down in the comments but uh yeah super dope and then behind here we have some yes samu tezuka so we have actually gonna move these out of the way for you guys all right so like i said some of these like i haven't figured out the organization yet but we have dora we have ayeko ayako i don't remember this was not this was not good i haven't read this yet i haven't read these two yet but this this i did not really like next we have mw i believe it is and the book of human insects junjie ito is no longer human onward towards our noble deaths the description sounded really interesting but when i was reading it honestly i it was very slow and i couldn't really get into it that much i'm about halfway there i have some type of bookmark in there but i kind of dropped it next we have just some random gto uh gto the early years only one and then gto the early years volume 15. obviously need a lot more of that uh next we have a girl on the shore which if you guys know my channel you've heard me talk about many many times uh really the only reason i still have that and another volume you guys will see later uh is because i have a basically a full set of any osano all of his english works i believe i'm not missing anything you guys will see that in a minute but uh yeah next we have the next we have the daily lives of high school boys which i watched at least an episode of the anime and was really funny but i haven't gotten a chance to read that yet that's one of the more recent pickups next we have let's get this right we have google blot which i like recently got volume zero i've had volume one for a minute now like a while but i just recently got volume zero i heard it's kind of has similar themes to berserk but i'm not 100 sure on that because like i said i i haven't gotten a chance to read it because i just recently uh got volume 0 which you i guess need volume 0 to actually read before volume 1. and for some of you guys who don't know stuff like eden maybe even beck gto blood blockade like these are super rare volumes in series so that's why i'm kind of i don't have a full set yet but you know that's just for the people who are maybe new to manga collecting who are watching this next we have die dark from the same creator as door hedorah i only have volume one i think three volumes are out so far but next we have dora hedorah which i believe i'm about halfway through this is kind of an issue series because you can't i highly recommend i highly recommend not taking a break because if you take a break you're going to forget everything that happened like this this is kind of a complicated story there's a lot that's going on so i got like maybe somewhere around here and then took a break just like i really want to read something else this was good don't get me wrong but with a series with 23 volumes sometimes you want to take a break and just kind of split it up a little bit huge mistake uh because i could not remember a single thing that happened in the order it happened in like the details and stuff like that so i'm about to reread this totally fine though it's a really good story next we have ikagami which i have praised for a while now i'm not gonna say that like i'm the person who kind of uh got it in the limelight of a lot of manga tubers but i'm also gonna say that i did praise this for a while i did talk about it in so many videos and streams um so i'm happy that some more people have gotten to pick it up because it is a criminally underrated series the ending is kind of meh but it's not in my opinion it's not a series that is defined by the ending it's really defined by the individual stories in each volume so highly highly highly recommend the series and i i could go into like details for each of these series but i think the video would just be way too long like i'm i'm aiming for around an hour for this video and it would probably go way over that if i wanted to each series but i could definitely send you guys if anyone's interested i can tell you guys what video to check out where i talk about the series so next let's break these down oh there is my to your eternity i was looking for this and you guys will see why later okay that's not supposed to be there so next we have fire punch one through eight also i think is a underrated series although other people would argue with you that it's way too confusing and doesn't make a lot of sense and i'm not saying i disagree but i think that's kind of one of the things i really like about the series it's from the same creator as chainsaw man i i don't know how to describe it but it's really good uh next we have neura rise of the yokai clan volume one and seven just random volumes it's kind of a hard series to pick up but i really like volume one next we have what a wonderful world by asano this is all asano stuff i i have all of his stuff the one volume you guys will see a lot later and you guys have already seen girl on the shore i probably could fit this stuff in here but for some reason i it wasn't all together so i guess i kind of messed up on that so what a wonderful world either volume one or two were really hard to get for a lot of people luckily i was able to find it i'm not sure if they're still hard to get uh next we have downfall and which is kind of a more depressing manga but it's kind of either i hate it or love it volume i think solonen which is a lot of people's i feel like between that and goodnight poonpoon definitely a lot of people's favorite asano work and it's kind of also uh has a music element to it uh next we have good at pumping volumes one through seven i know a couple volumes or one one or two lines were hard to get for this series at one point they're out of stock but hopefully they're back in stock i'm not really sure on the market right now uh next we have data demons destruction which i apologize uh this is gonna trigger so many people um there's probably gonna be more stuff like this just because i literally built these bookshelves yesterday and put all of this stuff up yesterday uh as quick as i could but yeah but i'm missing volume two but you know working on that okay next shelf we have battle royale which if you know me and you've watched my videos for like a long time uh you'll know this has kind of been one of my uh issue series like i this is one of my favorite series it's maybe the first one i ever read in terms of manga i read it on scans because i didn't really know what physical manga was at the time but i'm missing volume 13 apparently i thought i had this complete but apparently i don't this is something i've kind of pieced together uh still need to like change some stuff as you can see volume one got i don't even know how to explain this but basically they they tried to de-yellow it or fix it or something so they chopped some off it's shorter i don't know i don't like it but it's whatever this is a hard series to find next we have helsing volumes uh one through ten i have i think it's a barnes noble exclusive volume one make japanese volume one or volume ten i'm not sure but i shall show you guys this is pretty cool uh oh yeah volume ten that's why i have it down there but yeah pretty pretty badass cover next we have kaiji okay kaiji really good but has some slow parts i'm not gonna lie to you i think volume two was maybe better than volume one i don't remember volume three is out it's a super slow release series but uh it is i like it i need to get volume three i didn't even know it was out until yesterday when i was actually looking up some stuff i need to pick up then we have opus this is one of i i recommend the series to literally everybody it is a really really good series it is by satoshi kong um r.i.p to him unfortunately due to certain circumstances he was not able to actually finish this manga he got pretty far but there's like an insane cliffhanger at the end but i'm i'm telling you guys it's is really really good i highly recommend you pick this up it is all about breaking the fourth wall and honestly kind of kind of terrifying in a sense i i highly recommend picking this up though all right next i'm gonna break these down and show you guys what's behind so behind here we have i am a hero volumes one through eleven complete as you can see i'm about volume three and and then um i was kind of reading something else at a time next we have and so this is a zombie manga by the way this is uh i would say it's pretty good i think a lot of people really like it up until maybe omnibus like 9 to 11. i don't think the ending is great but i mean a lot of people don't like endings of manga in general so i don't know i think it's kind of up to your own discretion next we have future diary i've heard not great things about this series but uh i think i got it from a subscriber for really really cheap and the the story the way it sounds really interests me so it's been something i wanted to check out anyways i also was able to get that i don't know if that's complete or not we have the battle royale light novel i don't know what you want to call it but yeah so that's back there okay next on the bottom shelf we have all of blade of the immortal the omnibuses this is really really cool i think the deluxe editions also look very cool uh don't get me wrong i really like the spines on these they just they just look fantastic and i already had a bunch when they announced the deluxes so i decided to go this way but honestly if you don't have any of these i'd probably go to the deluxe route but yeah very cool series these are also like extremely heavy next we have prison school which uh if you guys know you know so i have volumes one through let's see yeah one through eleven but let me move some of these i mean i guess i can just kind of show you these are like like i said these are really heavy so i'd rather just not have to move all of them um but a bunch of prison school volumes behind there and then we have the death note black editions right there what you guys can see uh mixed reviews on death note from people i i read all of these it took forever there's so much text but it's really good it is really good and i don't mind the ending i don't mind the transition if you guys know what i'm talking about uh if you don't we'll read it and you will find out but a lot of people hate on the transition i don't mind it i thought it was actually really cool to be able to keep the story going but yeah next we have down here we have gans volume one and shaman king vol 1. those are kind of just down there to go down there they might move at some point i don't know if i'm keeping shaman king i didn't really i didn't really grow up on shaman king so like i'm gonna have to read that and actually decide whether to continue or to sell it so that is shelf one which we can fit a ton of stuff on super happy with that and that's just the target shelf so moving back over here let's see if i can find it might be on the other shelf but to your eternity i had volume two i think it's on the other shelf i could not find volume one i swore jake the pug uh actually stole my volume one but apparently he didn't so check the pog you're off the hook guys let me know any type of advice any type of recommendations for how i should like show this stuff what manga should be pushed to the front which should be pushed to the back i'm getting risers for these shelves and i'll adjust them as needed but uh yeah so let me know what you guys think should be in the front what should be in the back kind of a little more hidden away even though i should have riser so it'll be still shown but yeah so let's go up here this is my shonen shelf shonen slash viz shelf where it's mostly those series it might be a couple other ones you know kind of thrown in and then this one's a little more random in a sense but you guys will see up here we have i shield 21 this is complete all the way to 37. uh hopefully these are on the right order super super awesome to get absolute grail of mine and i was able to get it for a fantastic price can't remember her name off the top of my head but i know exactly who she is she's one of my followers who i bought this and or hedorah and some other stuff from and god i'm so grateful that she sold me this stuff for a good price next we have slam dunk i was able to get most of this off simon schuster i believe it's mostly yeah slam dunk behind this um you know let me move this let me move this stuff for you guys but here's a shot of the top shelf alrighty so coming back up here we have a lot of slam dunk but not all of slam dunk unfortunately still missing a couple of volumes i don't even know what volume is off the top my head looks like maybe 19 and something else but um yeah working on these kind of rare slash expensive out of prints or out of stock volumes unfortunately next we have black clover which oh my god don't look at that i am so sorry for that but i have up to volume 10 for this series um that is just horrendous and i will absolutely fix that i apologize once again keep in mind i got all of this stuff up including building both of these shelves yesterday so some of these may not be the perfect orders and stuff but next we have one punch man volumes one two six need to get more of these this is a very good series next we have bobo bo bobo volumes one and two ultimate muscle volume three and sandland volume actually no volume that's a one uh one shot so actually moving up i forgot we have these two things with my gone box set it is a italian release only i'll show you guys it it's it's very cool as you can see it's three volumes this manga actually has no words so you can pick up the italian version i personally do not recommend purchasing this from amazon eu or italy whatever i have gone through i think three of these now each has come extremely like damaged so that's a huge issue this one is even damaged this was just the less damaged one so it's cool but you know risk at your own reward and we have some actual books up here some we the lord of the rings plus the hobbits uh box set which is very very cool uh thank you to hvl for sending this over and then on the second shelf moving down we have its warbito demon slayer spy family one through five i think i'm almost update just need volume six a really really good series highly recommend getting into this i don't have any more of this probably gonna end up selling it if i want it i'll probably get the box set it's a war beetle is very very cool uh jake the pog actually talks a lot about it so if you're interested in that definitely check out his channel slash videos next we have kaiju number eight this is a really really good like new series that i highly recommend if you guys haven't picked up or haven't read definitely check it out even if if it's just on the show and jump app definitely definitely definitely check it out and then next we have chainsaw man volumes one through five seven and eight i'm just missing volume six and nine uh which i believe i can pick up pretty easily but also fantastic series this was the same author as i said that did uh fire punch next we have moriarty volumes one through four i don't know what's out for this series probably volume five or six maybe but also really really good uh series i've talked about before on my channel undead unluck i have not actually gotten the chance to read this this is one of the volumes that i picked up like i said during my essentially manga reading slash buying hiatus even though i still picked up a couple things so i still need to read this uh jiu-jitsu kaizen i am just random freaking volumes i don't know if volume 0 is still hard to get but i need to get more volumes that actually make sense for this this is it it's just it's a mess uh next i have quintessential quintuplets which kind of makes me mad because i picked up almost all of these before the box set was announced i think and i really would have just gone the box i wrote like they're selling it for like 30 dollars for i think maybe eight volumes six volume seven volume something like that so it could have gotten like this for way cheaper and also kodansha just like their spines are freaking terrible like this is just horrible and they're kind of like messed up a little bit um but whatever next we have fire force this is the not loot crate but oh this is the akibento version volume one looks really cool as you guys can see it's black and red where i think it's white and red on the normal version but yeah very cool next we have act age volumes one and two two was actually kind of easy to get they stole out of barnes and nobles when i purchased it volume one was not easy because by the time i got volume two volume one was already pulled as some of you guys know the uh mangaka did some or was accused of at least some really terrible things so yeah but i've heard really really good things about this and this is kind of the uh there's only two volumes that were released in english and this kind of goes on the aspect of like being a collector already so behind that shelf we have high q volumes one through six honestly might sell this i don't know like there's probably a box head or something coming out uh blue exorcist one through seven this also just kind of came in a bundle hall might sell this i don't know if i'm gonna get into this then one of my grail series which i don't know why this is in the back i just have it in the back right now but one of my grill series zach bell i've talked about this a lot and i have volumes one through 25 this is where it ended in english in uh japan it went up to i believe 32 volumes but this is kind of like an english sort of ending and i know volumes 23 24 and 25 were extremely hard to get i got lucky with these two um and then super super lucky with this one but if you guys are og viewers you know damn well um my journey with the series and how happy i am to have it complete also hypland is doing a collab um with some zach bell kind of merch and stuff like that so if you guys are familiar with high blend and uh their clothing and stuff like that super excited for that as well stock is definitely going to be going up with these next we have tomodachi x monster also kind of an underrated series not a lot of people talk about i know manga i know manga tubers have talked about it a little bit it's essentially pokemon but like on crack it's really really cool though i highly recommend it's super super super extremely violent so i would not recommend it towards for everyone uh next we have cubots which is i think basically like minecraft the manga also came from jake some of this stuff probably well not maybe some of this stuff right here but some of the stuff i've definitely gotten off people and i won't remember everyone but uh yeah so next we have mob cycle 100 volumes one and two apologize for that that's easy to fix one and two really could not get into the series probably gonna end up selling it but uh we'll kind of wait and see i'm gonna give it one more try all right so my next shelf we have hunter hunter which is in the front michael in the back i don't know i have volumes 1 through 36 i believe i have every single volume i think in my like last manga collection video i said that i had every single volume and i didn't realize i was missing volume 25 which at the time was expensive and uh was very unfortunate when i learned i was missing that uh but now volume 25 looks like i can get pretty easily so very happy about that gonna cop that on amazon yeah hunter hunter up to 36 it's not complete still ongoing but it's not really ongoing if you're familiar with hunter hunter uh so yeah hopefully togashi is able to continue that in the future next we have the problems neverland volumes one through eight in the front i have some more on the back i'll show you guys but really good series i need to finish it i have not finished it yet and it's been done for a while but yeah that's definitely in the works all right so behind hunter hunter we have the promised neverland what through 12 no i think there's like 18 volumes or something and we have real account which is a another very underrated manga no idea completely cannot understand how it is not anime or a live action this would actually now that i've watched squid games and stuff like that this would make for a incredible live action if they did it correctly so i really hope that's in the works at some point in the future next we have deadman wonderland volumes 1-13 the manga is actually finished the anime from what i understand never actually finished so if you watch the anime and it left a bad taste in your mouth that's probably why because they had like a super rushed crappy ending in the anime from what i hear but you guys can let me know down in the comments just to double check on that next we have rave master random volume i i don't even know why i have this up here i'm actually probably probably gonna take this out then we have reborn volume eight uh kentama volume one living stone volumes one through four i believe this is complete this is from the same author who did uh something else it's from the same author that did something else i don't remember what series you guys can hopefully remind me down in the comments next we have the fox and little tanuki i believe jake also got me that and then we have uh in another world with my smartphone i think it's kind of mid i don't remember being that good next we have what some people consider to be the goat of manga and maybe even anime we have one piece and like i mentioned earlier in this video i believe most of these volumes i got for a dollar or under i got these in my biggest haul ever i picked up out from one person on facebook marketplace i picked up 270 volumes for 180 dollars but so yeah we have one through 43. so in the back we have one piece up to volume up to volume 74. i don't know if you guys really need or like want to see the volumes behind but we got all the volumes behind really cool spines i also have if you guys can tell it's like the sport um the foil spines for these i actually sold my volume one box set oh that's just the design to look grip and kept the foil ones but i think the foil goes up to volume 23. so yeah i don't know it's just kind of cool and they uh they stopped doing it then behind these volume they do have a couple of volumes behind it here that aren't one piece so we have ray volumes one through three which is an older series kind of cool sounding i haven't gotten around to checking it out it's also from adv manga i believe that is which is a company that i don't believe exists anymore maybe it got bought out by another company or it just closed down but it was a publishing company and then next we have portis which is okay it's a horror manga um it's not bad it's similar to the ring but video game related and then undead messiah then on the next shelf down we have my uh my hero academia volumes so we have one through volume 20 i'm definitely not up to date so need some volume from here i also probably need to reread because this was one of the first series i ended up buying and reading but i haven't read i haven't read it in a while probably at least a year or two then next we have my hero team up missions vol 1. this came in one of the box sets that a company not a box set but a box that a company sent me to review and i've actually heard really good things about this specific volume in terms of spin-offs it's actually a pretty decent spin-off from what i hear then we have mu muho bro i don't know how i pronounced this and roji um bsi i think it's kind of similar to case closed but maybe like uh ghosts and stuff yeah supernatural investigation so a bit different and the next we have uh hero man which stan lee collaborated in making which is uh very neat along with probably his most well known uh in terms of the manga world thing he worked on which is ultimo uh or ultimo sorry i don't know why i said it like that but uh yeah so i have volumes one two three four five eight nine and eleven i think eight nine and eleven or five eight nine and eleven uh came from cassie so kazzy thank you for sending me these um somebody can income volumes but that's fine it's kind of a hard to find uh series so i'll collect it as i go uh next we have the full metal alchemist hardcovers i only have three volumes i feel like most people in their collections if you do own this either you own like three volumes or you own like an entire set uh so i've had these for a while i just haven't picked them up again i need to pick them up on like a right stuff deal or something uh because they are a little bit expensive but they're really really nice quality then we have bleach uh one through 11 right here yeah this is all the volume it's kind of weird cause that's kind of similar to one piece that has like a in the middle uh and then i think behind it yeah so i mean behind it we have all the bleach volumes up to volume 58 it looks like all the volumes up to 58 yeah uh i don't know i guess i can kind of like pull some of these off and show you guys but i mean it's it's bleach volumes you know it's not anything kind of too crazy it's just the white volumes uh but yeah the rest of bleach is behind here as you can see i don't have any other series back there uh bleach is also coming out with the last season of the anime so i know some of you guys are definitely excited for that some of you guys are also kind of like me and i haven't read this but i've heard bad things about the ending or like the last uh arc so i'm curious if the anime if they're going to be adjusting it because they know people don't really like the last arc alright so i had to get on the floor for this one but uh next we have yu-gi-oh this is the omnibuses i'm missing a couple omnibuses but that's okay some are probably rare now but it is whatever i didn't want to spend a bunch of money at the time so we have volumes one all the way through twelve it looks like you know fifteen and then we have 19 20 21 which this one was really expensive at one point so i managed to grab that for retail and then we have i want to eat your pancreas and then we have i want to eat your pancreas this is a really good story i kind of like you kind of know what the concept is as soon as you start reading it or if you read the description but i will say the things that happen or a specific thing that happens uh is it came as a shock it was it was a nice little twist for a story where you thought you knew exactly what was going to happen either one or two routes and it took this third route that was unexpected next we have rec room the rose king volumes 1 all the way to 13 missing 12 apparently i didn't pick up 12 i thought i did but i've heard good things i've also heard mixed reviews from a couple people but i've heard mostly good things about this series it's kind of similar to game of thrones uh had some aspects that are similar um but yeah definitely plan on getting into this soon ojin which i am i've read all the way at 16. i need 17 though that's the last volume that came out semi-recently but i've just been slacking so i need to grab that this is one of my favorite series that i just i don't know i just really really enjoy it the covers are also the spines and covers are also pretty cool just the colors and stuff you don't really see um these bright colors sometimes but i always i always recommend ajin to anyone so uh if you haven't read it i definitely recommend checking it out even if you just check it out online i know some people are kind of turned off by the anime because of 3d um animations or whatever which looking back it actually doesn't seem that bad but uh whatever if you don't like that then check out the manga next we have growing lagoon volume one i don't remember how i got this but um kind of cool i got this because it is kind of hard to find it's also kind of a cool volume it's like it's set up like this i don't know if the manga is any good but i heard really good things about the anime and actually people chew i need volume three but that's it i've wanted two also kind of a hard manga to find but i've heard good things then we have girls last tour which i believe is kind of an underrated manga you don't really hear too much about and i volumes one and three of that so i'll move some of these out of the way but honestly this isn't really a great display spine series if you know what i mean but we have case closed all the way going through to volume 43. so this is all case closed back here some volumes are better than others some are a couple our library and i've been able to replace a couple of them but if you guys want to see something wild uh let's this is kind of insane to me let me show you guys sun bleaching so this is a prime example if you leave your manga directly in the sunlight for a long time this might even been left outside to be honest with you like crazy yellow this is the best example of sun bleaching that i could possibly find i don't know literally don't know if you can get any worse than that and then next we have down here uh we have some jojo so i'll start i'll go bottom from tops and some down here anyways uh we have jojo part one part two part three and some of part four i know part five is out i believe and then behind here we also have some more grails so we have trigon maximum volumes one through five i believe that's complete in the omni's a lot of people has hit me up for these i'm not selling these i'm not looking to trade them or anything um but a lot of people will still hit me up for those in kerasagi corps delivery service volumes one through four i actually if you guys watched my manga shopping video um i don't remember which one it was but you could see in the thumbnail if you look for it i got all these volumes for five dollars at a comic store absolutely insane that comic store doesn't do that anymore tick tock has ruined so many comic stores around me there's two or three people who have tick-tock accounts that are kind of popular and they've gone and uh done manga video manga shopping videos essentially the same things i've done on youtube but on tick tock those like get way more views so all those shops since the last time i've checked have been pretty much cleaned out and they don't do any more deals any more one dollar or five dollar manga deals so fortunately i was able to get these when i did but that is not the case anymore and then over here over here we have doubt volumes one and two we have judge one through six we have toyo games one and two i still need three and then randomly with school frozen time uh one or two over there these are from the same author these are kind of like saw but i really like both of these toyo game i've not read because i still need volume 3 but it's also kind of a um i believe kind of a game based uh darker not horror but kind of horror manga and then a school frozen in time is interesting i i read volume one um i've also read all of these but not these not these two like i said uh school frozen time red wine one needle read volume two just got it semi recently and it had a nice little twist at the end also once again some of you guys may be thinking oh why isn't he going into detail or explaining like exactly what these series are about once again i think it would take way too long and also sometimes i like getting a recommendation and kind of going into a series more blind than knowing a bunch about it because i can always kind of look up a description myself but i would rather like i said i personally i like to hear recommendations and you know kind of hear people talk about how much they like it but not really give away like the story and stuff like that um so that's how i'm going about it so next we have the drifting classroom one of my favorite series i'd say probably top five really really enjoyed it super dark super messed up and this is by kazumez i mean just really really good so highly recommend that if you're looking for a darker story and not like janji ito where it's more so the artwork that is creepy and our aspect this is more a story that is that is creepy and just totally messed up then we have a raised volumes one through five love the animes is one of my favorite animes ever so i had to get the manga next we have vagabond one through three i know this series people are scalping the out of it in the later later volumes so we'll see i'm in no rush to pick this up i'll pick it up as i go some of these volumes i like to go to cheaper out and not have to pay retail because they are kind of expensive retail anyways villain saga need to get more volumes one through four probably gonna try to get them through like a right stuff bundle or something but really really good series next we have message to adolf volumes one and two this is complete super super super underrated series in terms of people actually reading the goddamn thing i know a lot of manga collectors have picked it up or whatever because it was expensive it came back in stock might be out of stock now actually i don't know but it was super expensive back in the day because it was super out of print and even the people who picked it up picked it up put it on the shelves and didn't read the goddamn thing so um i know the prom g is reading it now i've i've told him for a while now that he needs to just actually pick it up and complete it because by the end of volume one you're like whoa what just happened i need to read volume two and volume two i mean both volumes are bangers but volume two is really really good and it's just like there's just so many cool aspects to it i mean you're you're kind of seeing uh world war ii and hitler and that kind of stuff from uh three different perspectives and one of them is from a japanese perspective which i have never like you don't you're not really taught anything about that in school so it's just it's very cool i don't know how to explain it but it's a uh samotech manga it's definitely my favorite from what he's written and i've read next we have moving up we have boca rato hours volumes 1 through 11. if you are able to get your hands on volume 3 i highly recommend reading this and honestly volume 3 is out of print i i don't recommend paying like a ton of money for it so if if you need to read it through another way you know i'm not going to tell you to read it you know illegally or whatever but if you if you you know do want to go that route you know i i just recommend you read it however you can there's also an anime which you can watch but it is really just a crazy insane manga very like in your feels kind of super sad moments a lot of action it's just really really fantastic next we have blue flag volumes one through eight missing seven yeah i think it's just seven i'm missing and i almost have that complete so hopefully i can get that done soon these volumes are freaking always out of stock so we'll see about that next we have blue period which is a painting manga i did not think would be into but i actually really am into uh volumes one through three there might be more volumes out i'm not sure uh next we have zom 100 this is actually this is kind of my shelf except for this where there's some ongoing stuff that i just wanted out in front of me so i could stay up to date next we have zom 100 which is a really great like comedy zombie manga uh it is actually funny i actually really do enjoy this manga so i recommend checking out volume one if you're interested boys run the riot this is a different manga it is really really good i if you're into like streetwear and in fashion stuff like that which i know a lot of people have gotten into the manga community after the street wear and sneaker community because i've talked to so many of you guys and then we've talked about so much stuff outside of manga so if you're into that i highly recommend checking this out this is very very cool uh next we have b stars volumes one through eleven with beast complex uh volume one which i don't know if there's any more volumes out for this probably there probably are but i think this is like a prequel to b stars really really fantastic series i highly recommend everyone to get into the series i know some people will say oh you know they're they're afraid to get into it um for being judged or whatever because furries but like it's not it's not like that so i definitely recommend you check it out then we have dog ningen volumes one and two so this is volume two this is the original volume one which now you cannot purchase uh with this title it's this title so i'm very happy to have picked up the original title when i did then we have hills paradise need to get more of this and sweat and soap need to get more on this i've actually been kind of hesitant to read this because i didn't really know if i'd like it but i've heard so many people say amazing things about the series so definitely have to check this out this is getting an anime i don't know if this is but this is definitely an anime that i think should be out semi soon also these are only single stacks so i actually have some more room if i wanted to double stack and do risers so it's nice knowing i have room to put more manga up although like i said some of the stuff i'm probably gonna sell just a couple things in the shelf but whatever next we have my shuzo oshimi shelf so we have happiness volumes one through ten kind of a really really good vampire-esque manga kind of similar to tokyo ghoul in some aspects but i personally i enjoyed this manga so much i choose oshimi i've been saying this for a long time is one of my favorite mangakas i've read everything on here just so good you just pick up one volume and you're absolutely hooked and then you have to binge the series so really fantastic inside mari is i need to get volume eight release kind of slow because it's dempa but uh i believe it's wrapping up soon if it's not already wrapped up a really really cool series as well then we have the flowers of evil probably his most well known outside the blood blood on the tracks his definitely as well most well-known complete series really really good i highly recommend this if you're looking for a dark psychological manga next we have avant-garde yumiko this is actually a self-prince because this was not announced to be released in english and this was kind of sent over to me we'll just call it a gift so it was pretty cool but now this is actually getting an english release which is awesome so i'll be able to pick that up and 100 support obviously oshimi as i've done with all these other volumes so i there's also there's three volumes or three series that oshimi has released in english that have not picked up yet it's all been recent two were comic-con exclusives which i want to pick up hopefully for a decent price if anyone's selling those let me know and then one was just a non like just a regular series release uh just one volume so i'll be able to pick that up pretty easy but on the tracks i think volume eight comes out soon if it's not already out um just crazy crazy series it's super super dark i think it's probably better than flowers with the flowers of evil but it's also still kind of ongoing i don't know if it's complete in japanese yet some of the flowers of evil almost complete in these singles so we have omnibuses and we have the singles i was able to get a fantastic deal for these so i just figured i'd pick them up because they are kind of rare and some something to go for a lot of money i'm missing volume two but that's okay that's only volume missing in volume 10 this is the one that is like incredibly expensive or at least was at the time and it's still definitely kind of expensive uh then we have sunda bay i believe that they pronounce it volumes one and three if you know anything about this series it's very very edgy but it also has a very dark aspect to it at least it seems like it it's going to be almost kind of fits in that chuzzo shaming realm but yeah i was just able to find volume one and i don't remember where i found volume one but i think volume three i'm pretty sure i know where i found it and i got it for good pricing both of those i got good prices but then moving up i'm actually i'll go top shelf and then back down on the shelf so we have 20th century boys volumes 1 through 22 missing the most expensive volume 17 and 19. i managed to pick these all up from a uh store those volumes probably got scalped so unfortunately i don't have those maybe sometime in the future i'll be able to pick those up and then i need 21st century boys volume one and two i might get the omnibus because those are also very expensive could be like 100 each but this is all from urasawa so this is erasable then we have monster which is probably his most well-known work it is fantastic it is very close to a masterpiece if not a masterpiece in my opinion just so good the antagonist is fantastic so highly recommend checking out monster if you have not already then we have acidora which is one of his newer series that's coming out in english i think i'm a volume or two short but i have one and two um and then we have master keaton which is not actually like fully his i think he just helped out with the series but i volume one and then katsu lou this is not actually urasawa this is matsumoto this is i just kind of stuck this up here because it fit then we have pluto which is which is urasawa but i think it's also uh tezuka it's kind of a play on astro boy yeah it's i've heard really good things i'm missing some volumes though i have one two i need three and then like nine or something like that but yeah still kind of working on that then i have another grail series at least in my opinion that i was able to pick up one through fourteen of real and i think volume two and three are both very expensive at least three is and i was able to find those for an amazing price and kind of piece it together volume 15 is coming out hopefully they're printing some more volumes because volume 15 actually volume 15 is out right now you can purchase it he's actually working on real instead of vagabond right now so hopefully he can wrap this up and actually finish the series next we have possibly the heaviest volumes in existence which are gundam the mobile suit gundam the origin i have a bunch of volumes but not all of them as you can see but some of the most beautiful artwork and spines in all of manga but i i kind of hold myself to only purchasing these if i can get them for a deal which is under retail or significantly under retail so all of these i've gone under retail kind of working my way through just because they are expensive like it's like 30 retail next we have phoenix which a subscriber slash instagram follower sent me for i honestly i don't even remember what i paid i think one of these were like just kind of thrown in and i paid like maybe retail for the other he gave me an absolutely amazing deal he sent me some other stuff too he sent me the back future diary and some other stuff which absolutely hooked it up i mean just incredible person uh next we have soul leveling the light novels volume one through three amazing series highly recommend you read the light novels um the graphic novels are still good or the webtoon i'm not exactly sure what it is my mom want i think it's mama um but amazing series next we have mushishi volume one this is all i have i might get more in the future if i can get it for a good deal but this is like one of the most expensive series you can buy then we have the gods live which a lot of people have really really good i think it's really well known in the manga tube kind of universe but uh still i highly recommend you check this out if you are new to manga very easy read really really good then we have this series right here on my desk this is the last usano series that i needed to show you guys but uh yeah with this one that makes i believe everything he has released in english i have then going to this last shelf over here uh i might probably need to move this out of the way so give me a second all right so top of the shelf we have lone wolf and cub and i apologize my phone is actually dying right now it's on four percent so i'm hoping we can make it through this shelf uh but we'll see we have lone wolfen cub all the way through 28 um 28 probably in the back yeah and then i have like some volumes of samurai executioner and pat the assassin which i'm not sure if i'm keeping um back there it's like i don't have full sets of those just kind of a sorted series but all by the same mangaka and then i have lone wolf a cup all right so my phone kinda i think either got too low or i ran out of space but it's fine i am back and we're gonna finish off this shelf so next um so we left off with lone wolf and cub up to 28 i know the ending volumes are kind of expensive and then random volumes of samurai and pathy sasson which i might sell just because i don't have them complete and i don't know if it's if it's even worth kind of hunting them down then we have main abyss which i might move over to the other shelf i'm not sure yet one through nine that's complete not complete but upstate with the official anthology volume one i have my opinions on this work i'm still collecting it because i like the story and stuff like that although i do think there are some significant issues that revolve around the mangaka and what he throws in at random points so the series is definitely not for everyone but i have a whole video dedicated on that which um actually is kind of beneficial that youtube got rid of the dislike button or stopped showing it because that video probably has the most dislikes out of any video i've ever made although i think it has still more likes but definitely there's a huge fan base that are dedicated to this next we have cells at work black i'm probably not going to keep this jeffy dragons one which i've heard good things on golden comoy i've heard mixed reviews and then to your eternity volume two this is where my volume two is so i have to get volume one over here uh rent a girlfriend one through four probably gonna sell this i just hear things don't really like happen as the series moves on it's just super super slow which is going to drive me nuts uh next grand blue dreaming volume one need to get some more of this really funny series landed illustrious volume one i don't know if i can get into this it's very confusing to me um i just i don't know but next we have bacano volume one definitely series i want to get more of this is the light novel and then we have the summit of the gods which i picked up in florida i haven't read yet but i just kind of picked this up in florida because it looked kind of cool then i plan to test volumes one and two by the same author who does vinland saga honestly i think it's kind of i'm not gonna say it's mid but i think it's severely overrated then we have shortcuts kind of just a collection of short stories i believe then we have kakiguri volume 10. i want to get more of this series i really liked season one of the anime then we have soul leveling the graphic novel honestly mostly just pick this up to support but i probably won't be picking up anymore because i like the light light novel better then i have classroom of the elite volume one and two the light novel as well as mpd psycho vol 1 which i would like to get more of then and i think i mentioned this but this this shelf is super super random and i need to organize way better and i have banana fish down here volumes 1 through 19 missing a couple that were are hard to find but it's only like maybe one or two volumes uh definitely interested in getting into the series once i have those volumes uh so i'm gonna have to check on that and see if those are available next we have some attack on titan random volume so we have no regrets of only one i got all these dumb cheap probably five dollars or less attack on titan no regrets attack on titan lost girls volume two i don't know if i have volume one and then i have uh three attack on titan light novels so i'm not sure how these are but just kind of some extra stuff to add on attack on titan which i love i love that series uh then we prophecy volume one through three i am halfway through volume one i got these from base empire i remember that then i got gunsmith cats another volume i got for five dollars that i believe goes for a lot more and that's onto this one uh one punch man in japanese and then bakamanigaturi volume one i think that's how you pronounce that and this is the manga version and then behind here i'll kind of show you guys a little bit but we have attack on titan uh volumes the singles going all the way to volume 34 which i actually have two copies of it's the barnes and nobles i don't know i forget why i have two copies but i think i'm missing volume 33 actually but i have read the whole series and i've completed it um and i honestly don't think the ending is as bad as people say i think uh it's i don't know i think it's kind of dumb what how how mad people get over it and i am kind of getting in a weird position right now to get low to show you guys this but we have next shelf we have lupin the third a bunch of volumes for this which to be honest i might sell just because they're they're releasing the hard covers and i didn't know the hard covers were coming out when i got these but i got these for a great deal i think i also got these from kazzy and then then we have drifters volumes one through six i'm missing volume four unfortunately and then drifted volume one in japanese and i have old boy volume one through eight this is complete uh i have ace attorney uh two different series from ace attorney the original one and then kind of like a sub a sub story i believe so one through five and then one through four that is complete very kind of unique manga because it's not really in a lot of people's collections but last time i saw it was going for a decent penny on uh ebay and then children receive only one and two got these for super cheap barefoot gen which i find to be pretty interesting but i need to get more of die word gelder don't know if i'm keeping that got that for i believe also really cheap not to check that out and i will make my decision uh then uzumaki that's my only john jito work outside of no longer human and then down here on this last shelf we have blam uh volumes one oh god i'm i am so sorry for that but we have volumes uh two through ten oh hold on let me clean this up for you guys all right so that's a little better we have two through ten except we're missing volumes one and four that's kind of my issue then we have noise which i think is a prequel to blam and is quite expensive last time i saw i was going for like 100 on ebay and it's in really good condition it's just got some yellowing on top then we have biomega volumes one through four which i believe is also in the same universe as blam they have tokyo ghoul one through fourteen i don't have the box set but i shot the singles and then with the box set for dragon ball which are all inside of here and the box set for naruto which are all inside of here so that is going to be it for my first half of 2022 manga collection video uh as we move forward in this year i'm definitely gonna be picking up more stuff getting rid of other stuff that i don't really need or don't really want to read like i mentioned i already have a bit of stuff that you guys didn't even of showing off some of the stores and honestly updating you on like how bad some of these stores are not not in the sense of like it's a bad store but just how badly cleaned out they have gotten or just some of the prices on some of these stores as well as doing reading logs now that i actually feel comfortable and like want like motivated to read again well it's just regular hauls and obviously a maybe a reorganization video at some point kind of just showing you guys how i um ain't gonna move some stuff around which once again i'm looking for any type of suggestions of what you guys think should be in the front and in the back because you know i i go for two two different things one the series i like and the series that i think really should be displayed as well as kind of aesthetics in like that last shelf is not hitting it for aesthetics uh but these two shelves i think are pretty good i can obviously move these things around not you know no problem at all you know some things will look better or whatever then that shelf over there honestly i don't think is too bad but this is definitely a way cleaner setup and if you guys have been rocking with me for the last what year or two now i don't even remember how long we've been on youtube i kind of miss my anniversary dates unfortunately but uh yeah i mean just you know incredible um you know i i can't tell you guys how much content i'm gonna be making and i don't like making promises like that but i really don't see any reason why i can't upload things like reading hauls uh not restart reading logs um you know shopping videos and kind of showing you guys like what uh the actual comic stores and stuff are looking like i'm not sure if i'll be picking up as much stuff because really i'm not looking to like spend a ton of money on manga right now that's not really the goal but i do have a like 100 writes off right stuff gift card and i do have a amazon gift card i do plan to pick up some things on so if you guys are collection reviews obviously i have not really you know i haven't reviewed collections in a while it feels like it's been forever and i know you know at this time a lot of people's collections have either grown or they've gotten more specific to people's tastes so i would love for people to you know when i make the announcement to drop their collections down and be able to re you know review those on stream but don't don't do that now because i don't want to i don't want it to get lost i will make an announcement via discord it'll all be sent through discord when i want to get that set up yeah honestly i've just missed making content and unfortunately i just wasn't able to i didn't fee it didn't feel right to make any content when all my manga was in boxes like i wasn't going to buy more manga just to put in bins and stuff so honestly it was kind of a i don't know just a very kind of unfortunately negative time in terms of like manga and youtube and stuff i'll tell you guys too
