all right good morning its travel trailer Tuesday or even fifth whoa till Tuesday we thought we're looking at another grand design today this is gonna be the 295 RL it's a 2021 I wanted to point out some great features of this but check out our inventory right now a lot of people don't realize we still have a lot of reflections here fifth wheels a great opportunity right now to grab yourself a fifth we'll go through the specs on this the unloaded weight on this is eight thousand four hundred sixty or ninety six pounds the hitch weight on the front which would be in the bed of your truck 1391 and the gross vehicle weight is just under ten thousand pounds the length on this is 32 feet nine inches and the total height to the actual AC unit the highest point of this is 12 feet you have 52 gallons of fresh water 78 gallons of greywater and 39 gallons of the black tank and then you have the 15 inch rims on these this is actually 2021 scheme out with the Goodyear Tigers now so that's one of the benefits of this as we go through you're gonna see you got a nice big cargo pass-through area you got your battery disconnect in here so you can turn it off when you're not using the campus that way the battery doesn't drain and this is also heated compartment so you have a thicker doors on these they're heavier weight they have magnets on it to hold it up so no more clips and you actually have areas here where you can plug in stuff close the close the lid here the door and you can run the wires through for any or outlet you need like an ice maker or something else like that close this door here you see it slam latch doors and one key on this to open it a market so there's no more double latches on these ones your propane tank you have 130 pound tank on each side so you have two tanks and open these up and you you can use both of them at the same time you have a regulator in here that uh once one goes low it switches over to the other so you just keep an eye open I also purchase for mine pressure regulators I need so I can actually watch when the tanks get low so I know when when you switch them the awnings on this if you look you got to slide in the main area so you got space for awning space on this which is going to give you a lots of shade especially one of the sun's in direct rate above you you want to be able to have that shaded area on both sides of this as we go around this is a full laminate control process on these siding you have a fiberglass front cab with auto body paint and this is actually designed for max turn radius so while you're turning a pivot point here you're not going to hit the cab of your truck because of the way to design the cap is and then you also have turn point radius on the 1500 or the 150 series you have where it pivots off the actual pin box here so your it's not gonna if you have a short bed truck you don't need a slider for it as you go around again auto body paint less fading on the caps [Music] the new feature on 2021 is the auto level button is actually outside now you don't have to open the cargo door you can lift it off your truck here hit Auto level it levels it out and then when you're done camping all you do is hit hitchhike that's gonna retract everything back and put that tongue back right back to the same height as it was when you took it off the truck so you just back the truck right on you don't have to play with the the up and down button to get that and to be able to back up your truck without having to manipulate it uh that much at all go around here once you step down this is the other tank on the other side and one of the other upgrades on this is going to be the slippered control panel a little bit more in there but what this is is a command center where you take your phone and you download the app on your phone and you can actually turn your hit Auto level on this you can run your slides as you're walking around outside run all your slides out so it's a great feature so that you could set this camper up without even have to go outside and hit the manual buttons they are still inside you could still do it that way and you can also use this touch panel here too so you have three different ways you can operate your camper now instead of just having to run inside every single time when you go in the command are the control panels and here for winterizing if you'll see dry camping city water power fill tank just tells you how you can change these valves down here and use it if you're going to go dry camping so you're going to run out water out of your freshwater tank and use your water pump so it'll tell you how to do that if you're gonna winterize it it's real simple you don't have to pull panels out anymore get behind the hot water tank and move those out there all right there your grand water tank valves and your black tank valves are all inside they're insulated so they will never freeze when you're going when you're topping your tank so if it's cold weather you don't have to worry about trying to pull your valve and it's frozen because it got too cold while you're traveling so it's all insulated now in the underbelly where there is actually forced air down here you have a hot cold water here to where you can plug this hose in here and you get an up outside shower your hot water tank is this should be a six gallon propane and Electric it's got the direct injection on it so you don't have to come on air like the pilot it does it itself and you can run it both electric and propane or one or the other so if you want fast recovery you could do it run both hot or electric and gas at the same time your vent for your heater is on this side your intake and exhaust and then you have your 50 amp service plug right here this is set up basically 50 amp service so you could put a second AC in the bedroom if you really wanted to it's all pre-wired up there you have an LED light for your drain area so if you're dumping your tanks at night you'll have a light there to illuminate so you can see what you're doing and then fully insulated slides both sides are going to be boxed in just like the framing on the walls you have a moisture barrier underneath where it's like a deck moisture barrier where it releases the moisture but won't allow anything in and you can actually walk on these slides so that's a great feature if you don't want to put slide topper awnings on it you go up there and you can sweep the pine needles and leaves off of it if you climb up on the roof and sweep it off you can actually walk on it while you do that refrigerator vents here your vent are your drain moisture drains right there always let this stay out if you if you let it go in then you're gonna get moisture buildup in your wall and you're gonna get a little bubbling and delamination underneath the fridge area so always let that stay out as we go around see these little holes here everything has a manual back up to this so you go underneath there's a manual backup they actually crank this slide in or use a like a drill gun with a socket head on it and you can manually bring the sense so if you lose power or something happens where you can't get this in just go there as it gets close then you put the extension through here and crank it in the rest of the way a lot of people don't know there's manual backups to everything your seals on these or they're gonna be long lasting on this and there's a seal inside to just want to always keep these nice and moist as a silicon spray that you can put on these to keep them moist but these slides are either all the way out or all the way in you can't run them halfway because they won't this kit will not seal on any slide won't seal up if you're only half way so you can see that there's an exterior seal on this and there's an interior seal for when it's pushed all the way out to those do go around you could see they have gutters on this so the AC is on right now so it's actually was camping with somebody last week and I heard them and say hey what's that water running off the roof well it's getting all the moisture out of your camper to AC will vent out that moisture and roast on the roof and none of the gutter and drips off so that's normal so if you're first-time buyers no that's normal while you're out camping I've backed up prep cameras are on these so this is a fury on package where you could buy fury on it plug it in there I say this all the time but the only way that works is when your running lights are on so your parking lights or your headlights on your truck will be what's powering that camera up there because it's pre wired to the lights to get the power you have a hitch back here where you can put in a bike rack secondary lights on it secondary trailer if you really wanted to do that way and then all the grand designs you'll notice have ladders already on them so you can get up to that roof access fully framed in back wall you're not going to see the flexing some of the older campers you'll see on the road they flex as it go down the road because it's not fully framed it's just a hung wall so that's one of the benefits of reflection how they build their campers was asked what are these here these are actually the weep holes so that if anything should build up underneath there that's a drain area where you can get the moisture out of there a lot of times when you're cleaning the inside your windows are sprained you'll see some of that dripping out in here you have TV hookups outside so you can hook a TV up here plug it in mount it on the wall if you are to or just put it on a stand out here or on a table and you can watch TV out here check out the LED lights on these they actually drop them a little bit farther so when you roll the awning in they could still see the LED lights so they don't get covered up and then over here I just wanted to demonstrate again these are your control arms for your awning when you push it up and down so you could pitch this away so you pitch it pitch it away from your your door or you can leave them up like that 30 pounds shocks on these so it will self dump you can see how it's just up and down so if you get a lot of water up there it'll it'll dump it after a while that way it doesn't rip away from your camper we'll put this one back up too so they don't remember because when you roll these awnings in you have to have these arms straight if they're bent you have a chance of actually been in one of these arms so I always make sure you put them back straight as you go roll them in this is a friction friction hinge door so you'll notice it's not going to slam on you at 30 mile an hour winds won't slam so that way no figures or anything gets pinched in there this has got a three year warranty structure warranty on this the roof is a new type of material it's a little bit thicker than the standard TPL ruffling that one is going to be I think they're going to up that warranty I know it's 12 years I think it's going to go up a little bit higher I have to verify with our manufacturer the Artic insulation so that's one of the package that are coming standard with all the reflections fifth wheels and that's basically you're going to get the 35 KBT Ojai furnace you're going to get the thermal wrap frame subfloors heated and closed underbelly it's got circulating heat down there and then the heated like I told you before heated pass through 0 degree basically you can go to 0 degree extended season for enjoyment there is also on this one has tank heaters in it too so that you can really go to zero degrees because it's electric blankets you hit the heater button and it keeps them warm it goes up to a certain temperature and then kicks off so it doesn't boil your water or anything like that I had somebody asked me well how hot does it get I think it's around 4045 degrees when it cuts off so that way it doesn't get too hot you got your nice lightweight aluminum steps on this one easy in and out actually step lights underneath LED lights under there so you're at nighttime you could see your steps as you're going in and out and as we go in notice a couple things as you come in so you're coming in it's dark out that light above there is a motion sense leg so you leave that on one setting and it'll as you open the door and you come in it will trigger on and that way you could see where you're going and you can always come here or you can use your app to turn your lights on with that app now before you come in the camper you get your see them like controls here there's that tank heater I was talking about your water pump gas and electric water heater your awning out main awning awning number two's on the slide and then these are your side controls in and out here so you can see everything you can basically control here just like you control on your app or on your on that outside control panel underneath the belly your AC control heater controls right here this is a max air fan so if you hit that you'll see right here that's opening up I don't get it nice and cool in here get the heat out while you got UAC running all right I would open it up have the suck all the hot air out of it while the ec is cooling down low and then once you get down to temp you can close it it also is brain sensitive on it so if it starts raining out it will automatically shut that and I'll show you a demo here's it off and you'll see it'll just close all by itself a little high up there I can't reach it unless I'm on my tiptoes so you don't want to have to manually open and close it but you can again if you lose power you can't close it by powering you can actually manually close it - so there's backups to everything the slides the awnings have little boots on the end of them or you can actually crank those in - this is a great floor plan one of my favorites because it's a rear living so you got lots of living space back here you'll see you got a dinette with freestanding chairs you have this booth also but it also pulls out and opens up and you got a chest so you could store a lot of stuff there if you want I've seen people actually pull that over and use it as a footrest for the couch because the couch is a pullout bed so they use that as a footrest you have your Thomas Paine furniture here which is it's got heat it's got LED lights in it and a massage in it too so you can you can you know basically cold let's say it's a cool morning turn heat on you know the backs hurt and maybe for partying too much yeah get yourself a massage while you're relaxing the more you're tricking some coffee right there's a center console here too with where you can put all your remotes and then you usually pull down shades blackout shades so these will just pull down you got say that and then you can let go and it will won't fly up so it's easy control shades up these your pull up beds back here on this couch down the street net free real quick because with the free stand that does not turn into event so this is a secondary bed you have uninvited guests that have to stay over or my case my teenagers will come out every now and then so they got a bed here so that's how easy it is to set up and tear it down put back up but some people struggle at first trying to figure this out to push this down you push and let it pull backwards and then just dash it down I make it look easy because I have more to myself so any questions so far if you guys have any questions you can always you know comment later if you're watching this later when it's not a lot of fear but we'll do our best to answer all your questions you have overhead cabinets here lots of storage so if you do have those gas stick I keep my sleeping bags up there or if anybody stays over and extra blankets and stuff you can tell what's up there - all right big back windows which is great so this is why I love this floorplan is all the windows are in your campsite so if you look at all these big windows these are in your campsite so your fire pits out there your picnic table for most of campgrounds you go to that's a great feature having all these windows on this side and then on your neighbor side you don't see anything that they're doing over there and they don't see what you're doing - so there's no windows on that side that's a great feature I believe unless I want to be very sociable and you can open this window up and talk time this has the jensen radio on this which is bluetooth DVD player CD player so you can pair your phone up to this play music you got a B zones here so you could play music inside or outside and that's how you can tell what's plain so right now inside and outside if I turn that off speaker B's up so outside is off right now so that's a DVD so you can play your movies on this big screen TV and it'll play like surround sound so you get all the theater sound to it while your wife movie cabinets here so you can actually put more stuff in here you see you got a pastor for wiring so you can put an HDMI wire up here I put I have a blu-ray player in mine so it's a great place to put it there's also a power outlet in there too so you don't have to run wires outside see that and then just this side could be like DVDs other things like that one thing I really like about this is I don't have this a - there's an actual drawer underneath the TV and then side drawers there psych department to do lots they tried to do everything they can to give you as much car storage capacity in here and then you get the electric fireplace this does kick out eat - so a lot of people don't realize it's not just decoration it pumps out a nice heat so if you got the chilly morning you don't want to run your furnace you just come here turn this on okay like we do my wife and I we sit in the chair had that on drinking our coffee and this will warm up this whole space here one thing you'll see on the floors there's no fence on the floors anywhere here so there's no extra cuts on the floor grand design uses a vent right underneath the cabinetry so if you look under the cabinet there you'll see this is a heat vent there there's actually another outlet underneath the counter there so less cups on the floor means less problems in the future for soft spots on your floor or debris getting inside your vents and everything else that's why they do that on this one pantry here kind of walk over here this has got a motion sensor light so when I open this up light goes on so you don't have to remember to turn the light on and be able to see what's in there you got your shelves all the way down so you got lots of pantry space here you can load this up I don't think I've ever filled it up yet since I've owned my camera doors here and you could tell these are wood it's not the cheap stuff they put nice materials in here for the fit and finish you look under though you can see that's the same floor underneath that's how they can warranty these floors for 10 years because they build the floors and then they put everything on top of it so there's no extra cuts in the floor your microwave here if this is going to be a nice big one a lot bigger than one I have pretty nice through theory on that spaces on cabinets on both sides of this outlet by the stove you get your flip back stove here so you got a that's as a backsplash and even this is not just paper this is actually close to tile looks more like a thick plastic on it so it's not going to peel a poet on you and then you go to the fridge which is propane electric so this is a a cube so a little bit bigger size propane electric if you want to look here so when you turn this on you'll see it's on auto so right now what it's doing its looking for propane and making sure that it's prep primed ready to go if while we're plugged in it's gonna run off the electric once I unplug it it's going to go back to gas so that's the great feature of being able to put in Auto so once you try as long as your propane is open you'll be able to run this off of propane keep the fridge cold if you have a couple hour trip on it these fridges will stay cold for a while they take a while to cool down but once they're cool you don't have to run it if you're only like an hour away you'll get to a campground and it'll still be nice and cold in there if you didn't use a propane then you got this extra counter over here so lots of counter space there's more USB ports under here another outlet outlet on both sides actually so you can put cure eggs here toasters whatever you want and those areas and then more cabinet space moving all that space LED lights above it to illuminate it and then you even have more drawers underneath so you got these ones here this one's got three drawers on them different spaces here under this one here is going to be your circuit breaker or fuse box so that's if anything should happen on this camper the electrical light if it's a 12-volt light it's going to be a fuse if it's like the microwave or TV or the fireplace that's gonna be a circuit breaker so those those well rip on while you're plugged in you know another outlet on this side of the island which is uh you get one on each side and then this is a propane co2 detector so if that ever goes off first thing you want to do is go outside turn your propane off and then come in open all the windows and I figure out what caused that to go off in the first place and then you get your stainless steel sinks deep sink here recess down so you got to pull down nozzles so you can spray off whatever you want to spray out and this is X more like a drainer so you can put your dishes on here so they don't have to drip on the on the side I don't know if you saw this but there's more storage on this side of the counter - so you got drawers three dudes going down here and the big space under there where you can put your trash can I think that's everything on this side there's also storage underneath these seats - so that's good for napkins placemats and stuff like that any questions fight today that's either means I'm doing a good job or I'm confusing you here's a LED light on the steps great nightlight so you can see when you're coming in and out so you got to get up in the night you're you know a guest has to go to the bathroom they can actually see the steps as they're coming through LED lights up here and then this bathroom yeah get this off as a pocket door so you can close this door or open it and it's not in the hallway so it's not blocking traffic as you have the bathroom open here so you can leave this open this is great for store for traveling is that way the door doesn't come flying out baton banging all over the place while you're traveling yeah this is one thing I miss in ours is I don't have counter space with our sink so now you got the counter space with your sink medicine cabinet and then you have Motors and everything here for storage that's another vent you can see like I said that's the heat vent there so that's another way to get heating in the bathroom they didn't kind of hold on the floor in the main area and then now you have a vent up here for the AC so it's blowing nice and cold here this is a manual vent here open this up turn the fan on and this will help get the moisture out while you're taking showers and stuff there's another motion light in here you can leave that on it will turn on and off as you come in and out of the bathroom and then the shower here skylight above it and then you have your hand nozzle showerhead so that way take a shower still be able to spray yourself off you've got porcelain toilets on these so these are going to be a little bit better for keeping the stink out when you're using your toilet and then another cabinet right behind it so lots of space tall hanger they leave the toilet paper holder if you want to put it over here or get a pedestal or something else for that go in the bedroom all right I'm going to start off with the AC there's no second AC in this one but you can see the AC circuit is wired up there for it to drop in AC so if you feel like that's not keeping a cool up here you can put a second AC in it so it's all pre-wired that's why it's a 50 amp service so you have that option you can run this camper off a 30 amp most campgrounds are 30 there's a lot of them are starting to chance transfer over 250 amps but you can run this on 30 amp no problem you won't kick anything out on it you got a queen-size bed walk area on both sides and then cabinets above so you got these cabinets cabinets over there little cabinets underneath the nightstands they give you a nice space for the nightstands and the little lights up below it you turn them on and off so if you want if you want to stay up and read a book you can do that and the other one to turn their light off and then there's more storage over here this also has a motional light in it too so you can nice big space to hang up close and then underneath is another couple drawers three drawers here here's all the two vents to help keep this room nice and cool so you have that there and then that there's a floor vent here to keep all the heat in it one thing I don't talk about which I need to a little bit more is this has got an emergency exit on this so that's what this is so you would take that and shove it out pull the screen off and then you can climb out of the window you get a nice big window on that side too so this is a nice and bright in here when it's laid out with night shades over you pull these down again I love that feature now and then there's this it slide packet over to you on this side so that's everything on this one I'm going to put it back in trouble mode so we don't accidentally leave it like that storage underneath the bed - I forgot to point that out it's got shocks on it so it's easy up it's actually a little bit harder to put down that is to pull it up so outlets USB ports - I forgot about that there's outlets on both sides of the bed and then USB ports in the middle there so you can put phone chargers and stuff with a little lip there where you can actually put the phone above you if you wanted to I think that's everything on this one again we'll go back up the main area real quick get a good shot of office for a living again one more time show you how much space is in here [Music] that's why so I left the vents open on this so you close this up and then what that does is helps to get more air through the whole camper so like us share this video please with all your friends if anybody's looking please call us six nine or seven one six six nine four zero one eight eight ask from one of the Outfitters here we'd be happy to help you out find that perfect camper for you go right ahead how long is this and GVWR so this is uh let me pull up the exact here so this is 32 feet nine inches for this floorplan and the GP WR is nine thousand nine hundred ninety five so just under ten thousand the dry weight is eight thousand four hundred ninety six so eighty five hundred pounds all right all right well you guys have a great day let us know what we can do we'd be happy to help you out here it's the factories have fired back up so we're actually doing very well or sawn
