fast the gt3 runners have been racing what's known as the SP 9 class here get to come barging through they won't have a problem with the driver at the front of the field unless they're not paying attention because he's well clear but when you get the goggles and cars coming through and they've really really got to look out for themselves so this third fourth and almost fifth position onto the for Moss ritsos and how they manage to do that even in the virtual world without halting their breath maybe they do because I can't do it and all that it is very very tough through there indeed TCR well that's a similar story Bruce as we've got in the 17th in Cayman class with the leader Carl Lee Hanson and we're by a couple of seconds in the Porsche GT for class well in the TCR class it's Jurgen Frank for symmetry RCTC are who leads from Marcos go back in second and then false entry 16 lead Kerr is in third position and those three Oh right just starting a new lap now and heading up towards the knowledge life and there's absolutely nothing between them all identical cars of course it's a second between them there's a five-second gap back to Dennis Neihardt then there's another gang of cars a couple of seconds back another three cards Oliver Ackerman Dom Atkinson jr. racing for Phoenix racing and Phillip Eckert so as you say one at the moment when you run too wide hit the curb get spat off the line you're suddenly in the next group back but that first three yoga Frank just hanging on great to watch again that point where you leave the gold free circuit you turn left at Langston series and we will run them through the course of season and hopefully we'll have the in the real world racing starting again in the next couple of months because this is a championship that series of the bride range of cars this weekend just the four classes it's the flying cars leading the field those are gt3 elsewhere in the world but sp9 here at the Nurburgring and really really great racing but hats off at the moment to the driver leading the race for William V sports Sammy macro goon nearly 17 and a half seconds clear of filly peg masterful drive at the front of the field I just wonder grace how much fellow egg space is made dictated by the fact that he's fighting off arms did caliphate or we saw him waving quite significantly on the tonic ahora last time around the BS competition pmw his last lap around were 753 and that was in itself nearly seven seconds of that 16 seconds that Sammy trogon has pulled out on the rest of the field and nobody else is near by the way as well and I think that's the fifth place Oliver Ackerman in the t3 motorsport car the 471 who's in there about maybe five or six Carlin's further back and he's drunk dragging the sixth place driver with him as well this is extraordinary still as the TCR fit oh no that's not that is one of the gt3 cars that's in there that could cause all kinds of trouble as they come through and that was me Dominic Baumann then in the team place hosting felt what a wond car the flat car yes it is picking his way through that battle which is for the lead rusik TCR that's the lead down to fifth position fifth at the moment with Thomas Asmussen having closed right in on the body of Lucas Lippert on that project TTI today a machine they are battling out on the circuit at the moment as they head up the hill on the early part of the lap booth blue plaques heading up to her glutes and then dropping down through the Fox Hall antastic fast run earn part of the black for the top of the rise and then we could balance the car through that exceedingly quick left-hander on the bricks just about where the change in tarmac knees try and grip the car in a straight line now got to try and keep off the curbs down through the foxhole really unsettles the car certainly Thomas Asmussen we sting assiduously aware down one gear for the first left hander prick down the second game for the first right-hander then keep it straight then down one more gear at the top of the hill at the top the forest section and then gently wind the power off again this is all about flowing to left-handers to come give up the first one and then the second one is the one you've got a nail you can use the hill to slow yourself down as you come up to this under the left-hander easy on the power of the top of right handed out who were almost half in almost like a short ship out out of this one and just get the power on squirt the power short shift balance the car for the left-right flick heading downhill and you pick up the speed very very quickly here right right right and then they down all the way through the blocks to the hairpin which is going to put a bank on it brick just before you turn in for the right-hander and then down through the gearbox again I like the short shift out of here you're heading downhill now watch to the right-hand side see where the rod joins in that's your breaking point there down through the gearbox across the changing surface you can use the hill here as well just lift off it's more real need to break that order big mistake big mistake they're ahead of us person and that was the opportunity was looking for as the as Mario went white washed buyer wasn't he was chasing it was Lucas Lippert in the project GTI state car he got caught out by a flat marker there not to hit the Audi that meant the spin let's see if he can keep going all over again but plenty of action between the four classes of car yeah and that's the onboard shot he hit the barriers that he might have just about got away with that you gloat sit behind apart from that one yeah I think that was lenok guys are going through in the broad diamond a racing 256 car so at least lost a couple of spots but I don't think he's doing any serious damage and they see or replay it for those of you watching online you've got the same look is wade in here is broadcast said this but it did look more to after lap just getting it slightly wrong possibly triggered by the driver in a car with less performance from a junior class like the TCR class cars a zoom screen and it was at a moment where that over-commitment became round and round just wasn't he just knew Asmussen was marginally quicker and simply took one risk too many but again it's the multiple variables that you have here on the nürburgring nordschleife ER and I thought it was captured absolutely beautifully by the wco replay and the fact we had an onboard one as well well that is that in fairness that is the that is the advantage of virtual racing we can go back and look at anything from any car pretty much any angle saw where we're not let we're not sort of struck out looking because we do almost always get a look grateful with Norbert doing that we but he brought down a Ford Granada 2.8 I a state car that had been the circuit intervention car at now where was it it wasn't the sample I think was solder that it had me know it might have been sample but he had that car and he was restoring it back to its former glory and somebody had turned up all the racking system in the was bit in the back for all the safety equipment bright orange it was absolutely beautiful that's the sort of blow up the Patrick case and he loves all that sort of stuff and he loves his history and he drives some very very nice classic and it's a vintage racing cars and enjoys it and why wouldn't it cause by analog cars up there absolutely so but the family has has the bug very badly I read that he was one of three C Mon brothers who came over and raced it raced in Germany race in Britain in Formula Ford you know that bug is deeply ingrained in their family's bloodstream which is good to hear he's always around with us at the mall as well and many other races through the Shepherd through the course of the year but so glad see he's still involved as we go virtual racing until we can get the real racing underway you know what John I think this would on us as well once we once we will continue watch real racing start quite a hit already yeah very true and you know that there has always been virtually racing and there will continue to be virtual racing what's interesting to me and the guys from online racing program they're going to structurae at the tour original sure which is every Thursday night on rs1 what about three full-time audio channels the grid you're sure limited at produce Thursday night eight o'clock on rs1 the guys were debating some of that and there was a very spirited and sensible debate about advertising tobacco advertising and liveries it's in racing as well on last week's show all available on the archive if you can't listen live on a Thursday and those guys 13 years the online racing Association have been going and they are still as far as I know the only online racing organization to be recognized by their national motor sports association became the UK is now called what sport UK so like the PR DC or the PRS CC tourer are recognized as a mortise more organizing pudding and the amount of detail that they're going to for their race events of their series and you've seen the kind of detail that took Brewster to the closet and these events as well in terms of the driver briefings the amount of technical briefing that goes on for all these teams and drivers at this this is not something that's together on a you know a wet Wednesday afternoon with five minutes going onto a chatroom and see it right let's start a race for two hours this is this is far beyond that seriously John I've been totally blown away I'm a newcomer to I racing and I watched a little bit a couple of a couple of weekends ago and get my eye in and again last weekend as it continues to sort of grow and grow and grow but the level of detail is absolutely astonishing and I think I mentioned this to you yesterday I remember long long ago worked back in my days and the editors chair at all to support when people started phoning up in the early 90s trying to build racing games and I you had no concept that it could get to where it is now and I think it's phenomenal in those days they were asking for a run you know what's the incline at Donington Park going out of the old hairpin and you take your happen blue but if you find a summer surveyors drawing you might have an idea but you've also got stories about how it's grown and grown and the level of accuracy is just extraordinary in track mapping well yeah and laser scanning is coming since then oh there was one but a few years now there was a project that we were going to do a TV documentary on to sure the amount of work before solid laser scanning the track and we were going to do it on the Nordschleife before you look and look and of course that's such a long track that it takes such a long time that we were going to get every layers of Skadden piece of equipment certainly in Europe there and do it in in chunks but all at the same time and try and do it all overnight because you don't want to close down you know the rest of the time there's Taurus labs or there's industry what's what automotive industry days of testing and you know period events going on on this track so you know the Nurburgring very cake doctor shut down their their method of getting incoming and it actually didn't it didn't happen in feed the form that we were going to do it but when you do Mele is a scanner a truck which is what I racing had gone for at Sebring for example that track was last gun in 2011 and that is accurate to plus or minus one filament anywhere around the track and that includes all the books pants yeah all right has the the trap involved with the few chilly witness since 2007 yes but the point is it was exact or exactly she could be frankly one millimeter either way so that's a nutter that's a maximum difference of two millimeters anywhere of a circuit then I'm going to say that that's exact I I can't tell the difference one or two million filiming is in terms of whether that footprints like it does or that kerb feels like it does and I'm there's nobody other than a dinner engineer that probably tell you that sort of detail so that is effectively spot-on and this is what we're talking about here and again I'm coming to this and watching I except we've got an audience here this weekend who probably would normally watch online racing but that's the level of accuracy that you're talking about are the car models in particular are very very accurate have been worked on to the point where an idol of cheering car teams will do basic setup actually pull out the trophy suburban events with a second after boozing because it is that close to reality it's an extraordinary thing this is simulation this isn't the game this is simulation and there's a big difference between the two and this battle for third position he's starting the hot lava game with me Kelly ensign in the BMW the white Range a blue car being closed in on by Marvin Deeks in fact those two uh swap places haven't they they have his face yeah so so that's against it's gone through because he was in fourth position frozen yeah he was born in a bit second faster and asked time around 1.3 seconds faster last time right he looked pretty tidy having broken his weight here again it didn't qualify exactly where he wanted to be volcanoes motorsport that car started in 10th some their rivals have taken on tires of their pit stop whereas the Jets in car number 35 will be doing that when it comes in for its second of three pit stops in this earth in this race and then yeah how they go but in terms of lap times up from the lead of the race Sammy material has done two stints have doubt just pitted either second or two into his pit stall whereas his rivals in third and fourth position be riding with them now haven't got yet level with the pits that's interesting he's come in a lap earlier that last time around he teach December 7 ended seven and now he's done actually done I has across the line yeah five mobster in that second stint and Alexander Voss right coming as well so now I wouldn't if that's just half distance it is pretty much isn't it it's it's halfway through the three hours so then he's now gonna hand over to a very handy I racing driver Dominic style with a rating of 7,000 and that's extremely handy indeed and he will take on the Williams eSport machine are also coming in from second place did we get the second place car yes we did Lauren Heinrich in and in and out so Florian Borden has gone through four RIS Union and will lead the race yeah he's in number 87 and I'm sure we'll be coming in next time around so his Audi at the front he's sharing with Marvin auto back maybe they're just gonna split this 50/50 in this three hour race I think that's exactly what's happening I also think what we saw was no tires for the first stop for the leading car because he knew he was already effectively doing a stint and just over 1/2 to 2/3 let's see so a bit new tires odd for the new drivers Florie important cause through there into the lead seven laps on the stint for Florian at the moment and he's been in the car since the start so it's six laps of his first int and on his seventh lap now would presume he'll come in at the end of this lap in the rear Seeley of SPD and the examined car were talking about the knitter as because Bruce has just mentioned Marvin after back who will do the second half of that risk Kristian crimes has gotten on board tremendously consistent and few mistakes we've seen big accidents but really you know we're looking at people at the very top of their game in the same world bought from the real world at the SIPP world we're not seeing people weaving around of the defender deposition expecting was doing earlier on but not the cars are tracking straight through the Arctic drop the racing lines exactly as you'd expect from people at the top of their game no indeed and I think that we're going to see first of all I'm massively deeply impressed by by the show that's been put on by a VCO for the digital n LS series I think I think it's phenomenal whatever the information we're getting is is good and it will be getting better and better as we advance through the season but I think what I sort of expected with these big-name racing drivers in among sim races will be the sim races of totally on top of their game we've seen that with a family matter token but what we're seeing is the gap between them and the regular professional racing drivers is going to come down by the round they will be very very busy they'll be working a seven day week because if they're being losing a second or two around the Nordschleife that they won't want to do that next time around and I think we see the gap between the Pro drivers you saw this in the States will close by the week by the month through the course of this season and I think it's very very interesting there's another slant on on the whole equation and I'm just really really grateful we got some simple it's my racing to watch while full metal racing three-car battle back here they'll make that a four-car battle back but there is another gt3 car coming up the back of that as they're heading through traffic at the moment and that's another Audi the number 87 car so stabbed back in the lead for Williams eSports then after back in second up to but rather getting into the British Union car 40 seconds is the gap back to effective second place competition BMW times during the way of the Williams eSport outi at the front of the field so where's Otto Packer to drop back in in that race union team car the 87th that's the question at 7th I would reckon right okay in the Audi class TCR category it is we down the field for that in that class still stayin legit who lead to full center a sixth even Ebert in second Yannick Brenner for Phoenix in third 11th position the 4 or 1 girls only by Nurburgring eSports curry Shriner and psyllium are taught in there OD did Celia driving at the moment in 11th position they've got a team or Scheider a lot further back in 12th and see who they're trying to chase down leonhart off force good area August or burg new further round there is a degree of two degree of difference of ability and experience here as you always get on the Nurburgring saw Grand Sport in seventh torsten Kratz in the triple 3 it's got Manuel viable in the 397 t RS all car and this is the Porsche category those two are battling positions to the Cayman gt4 cook class what a draft what a draft manna well got there and is that into the tea garden now gross he might even have a chance running to eff this stay out which I think they should do they're not you a quick stop yet he's gonna have a run into the first corner here and that was all down to the the drag the aerodynamic advantage she got down the Tonica who you know we've seen that before with the the Cayman class in Cup three because they're about half a dozen laps ago we had one gaining third position in the dragon he got it long there's only just past tossing her long before tiger and seemed to punish quite a big hole which is quite extraordinary for such neat cars or maybe the beach slight mistakes coming onto the onto the the long long straight back towards the pits but certainly these Caymans very very good to watch indeed and as that this that position chips yes it parts the freedom sevens gone through that is back well a viable in the RS or 397 now ahead the saw a great sports taunted Kratz driven triple three I have a suspicion but that one is not over yet and although we've got a three-hour rich probably around three hours at that six or seven minutes in since we had the green flag these guys will be dragging each other to have Donecker Hall and trying for an orbit ich coming to the line that is the way of these cup classes and I have had many a chuckle with Joanie Parma and Bruce Jones in the real-life version of the NL s organized by the VL ed where we clean well after the leaders have pulled their cars up depart fermier and then all of a sudden there's a cook for or a cook free we have W gaggle of cars which are four major positions some five six seven minutes now after effectively the race at the front of the field is well and truly over and Johnny and Bruce having to pick themselves up again and find another Kia which their manfully to every stop gathering your bits of know paper pudding in the house you got to keep looking okay attention and then of course one of the biggest races of all is a to then sort many many classes to go up to their podium ceremony at the end of the day it's a potato you're a little bit ran out but that's been certain people who work the podium so everything have to really really be on their toes it heard a lot of people who are there a lot of them just for the crack and in the junior classes and you know maybe not used by professional drivers to understand when they are required at the podium so it really is a herding fish combination Tom Valentini in the sim RC team at closing up on the back of this battle for fourth and fifth between team whose can belt and just in there as well this is the again this is another Porsche or Porsche GT for battle and they're having a cracking battle at the moment I'm top gaming by my days Lukas Miller 369 car right in that as well watch that mustard colored car coming in behind them because that is the next car back I'm pretty certain yeah it is it's the same RC t a carbon Tom Valentini driven 376 so this now Bruce is fourth fifth and sixth and their rocky big Lukas Muller and Tom Valentini and they are all battling for position 3 or 1/3 69 and 376 fourth fifth and sixth position in the Cayman gt4 class if they stay like this they'll be joined by Manuel Bible as well a handful of seconds back because they're certainly slowing each other down but very very tidy driving I've been really impressed particularly with the Cup three class that's the Porsche 718 Caymans and again some great onboard footage looking backwards again if you've never seen a race in the nürburgring Nordschleife oh why not but this is a really really good advertisement for just how hard these drivers have to work and again you mentioned it time and time again John one little slip-up and it can really cost you half a lap or even laps over trying to gain an odd second here or there so easy to slip but I must say this rage people have been very very impressive indeed is this your first experience of watching suppressing it at this level great first well at the last couple of weekend's I've hadn't looked see but I must say this has impressed me deeply and I think a lot of it also is simply just that the majesty of the nürburgring nordschleife er and the sheer level of vert accuracy of the backdrops I mean all they haven't got it's a the crowd should have around the full circuit for the Nurburgring 24 hours that'll take a little longer to to color in in the background and therefore the atmosphere that rises later in the year but I think they've done it an astonishing job so yes first real full taste and certainly when you commentate on it you get far more wrapped in it and if you're just simply the circuit you might see it actually if you look carefully on the Grand Prix circuit you might just see a little bit of marbles on the outside of the ideal racing line on the Nordschleife er it tends to be there's so many different lines are there to touch there at that but in the GT 4 category and that was a little gentlemen's excuse me they're coming through if you don't mind in that battle that we've been watching and it was Tom Valentini in the sim RC machine wasn't it him went through I thought was rocky feeling behind it yet battle just a frag rocky bacon moolah yeah it's you know that grasses rather kind if it obviously hasn't been raining overnight you were talking about the track conditions it's gone up two degrees it was 23 degrees at the start the race so just after the start it's now 25 air temperature 18 degrees little gusts of wind nothing too much but it certainly would have been a bit windy in the cockpit there the car up moving sideways off the track onto the grass but fortunately not kissing the barriers and for under a rock you Vic fourth to fifth but he's still ahead of Tom Valentini great little battle for 56 in the Cup three class as you can see still fighting as they come down the straight but you look so a cubic might lose another position Valentini and the yellow nose Porsche tucked in behind for sim RCD carbon will he get up to fifth place by the end of the lap so the little distance to go it's a straight but as you can see we kinks on it and the car and falls play is Lucas Muller doing what he needs to do to try and break the toes yeah he hasn't managed to do it and right if it's got a really good run in the blue and white on the Milstein breach you don't even really turn the wheel there you just look to the inside and you ice drive you through it now coming up to take art and super lay it on the bricks here it's quite steep the uphill and you use that to slow you down and through they call that left right left and Pitt's so forth at fifth and sixth come into the pits there so that's Valentina in the Bluenose car and ragga Vick in the yellow car rather and Valentino now instace thought they've both gone past the straight up four tires as well for the three award so that was an easy one to see so tires going on that three or one and already Maximilian Fritz listed against the team hosting quelled machine so it will be Maximilian who takes the next stint there okay I've just been keeping an eye on a car that's worked its way up the order down in 13th at one point Alex araña took over the 186 outie that start on the outside of the front row for for Marla Racing team up to third now Alex Arana took that over from Augustine canopy no but that took tires at its first pit stop didn't at the second where most of its rival did the reverse and that was a very short second stint there for canopy nor all right I think that was only a two lap stint yes it was that was only a two lap stink and an Iran has been in that car now for five laps with a best lap time of 7 minutes 50.1 that's not messing about for Alex no unfortunately for him there to cart drivers in front Dominic's dive in the Williams e-sports outie and the BS competition BMW with Lauren Heinrich last time around with doing in seven minute 49 s they are marginally faster but certainly for modern racing team it's been a good stint for Mirana and he didn't just have to do the lap times he had to do the overtaking as well and really did a very very good job as we've seen it's a hard track even though it's 25 and a bit kilometers around it's a hard track to find a passing place but if a battle starting to build up at the head of the class that we've been watching recently by the way the 301 and the 376 basic belt machine out ahead as it was just a little wheel off the grass on the grass there for the hosting veldt driver maxi freaks right behind him now Marcel Fassbender force MRCA a carbon that's in the just at the side of that car and commanding lead but it is coming down they time plateau for sixth and seven in that the Porsche Cup cut the Greek and then beaut looking for a way past burnt as a bell and this is the great car in sixth position in class that's Bernstein well the project gt9 stopped they hate with the red markings autograph him put behind at the 211 and he's right behind us almost a little bit of book drafting and you really can't do that here has to be very precise flat out through the left's and rights don't take too much of the curbs don't forget the green that green and silver Porter is the one went off and once he got the awful up got a sear bridge very very sensible driving him did the hard work and got the overlap of burnt Siple deep Z bolts to excuse me for the project GT I'd start a driver Heath did a fabulous job of being aware of what was going on around him he was neat and tidy but ever since about 30 seconds ago I said he's driving really well he started to get looser and looser you could see he just couldn't get the car to turn in where he wanted and that is why him Bert who the Dutchman had that fantastic run up the hill and made it work but again as you pointed out the fact that both people gave him a bit of space and he's now trying to fight back but certainly pinball has it has a better car under him or he's driving it in a better manner at this point in the race we're into the final hour into the fine air already how did that happen absolutely right at Grace Jones have John Heinz Hopf let's give you a run through what's going on this battles all over at the moment let's start in TCR which we have seen for a little while but still decent really sync going in there only TCR to a DRS three LMS is that Steven Ebert 43 motorsport for quickly kfp who is leading but also some pit stop he's only done one stop that there that you're Kim planache who the full scent racing 485 car which was racing he's down in fourth position it's the first TCF carton who've done two stops so that means Ebert Martin ashes for Schubert racing a shipment motorsport in seconds before 28 and Yannick Brenner in third the Phoenix Racing team sport they're still also picked off first of Dominic's dive he's still leading for Williams eSports but chain Rico has painted she ain't no because because Heinrich was just come in exactly exactly so that's the last pit stop for Heinrich that V last pit stop done first I always think that that's not if you're not leading I always think that's a good thing to do get it done get into the rhythm towards the end of the race brace yeah remove the variable I think you just make it as small as possible but I tell you small as possible is the gap between first and second in the cup three class Marcus deck now hand it hanging on just a tiny amount syndra set says he's been closed before but he's half a car length down those two Caymans going almost nose-to-tail through the carousel and looking as though this time set says don't forget he got at the right outside the road because the next left-hander comes up so quickly and the carpet doesn't help you from halfway through there now plunging down hit the blood chin itself can use the paved area on the eggs it looks to me so the 303 in second place well we've seen syndra sets a screen here before he clean here for a couple of laps now so that's the better part of 20 minutes he's been staring at the back of the 399 with the EMSA sticker right in the middle of the rear bumper Islands mistake why both of them there then both did very well indeed to hold their cars on the circuit is Porsche cooked to car one of the 911s coming up behind and though this could put the cat amongst the pigeons and that might be an opportunity to get a bit of a draft big time in second place here's that battle Welton Horst and BS competition the PS car just out at the pitch bump and horse come to the end of their stint yeah Lauren Heinrich tried to fight sister BMW but so Christian Khurana is trying to do his everything 0-3 and his windscreen is 1502 he's clearly second overall but he owes our submit stop as does the race leading Williams just went across the line how deep that was went across the line he would have still feeling like yeah entirely so so get on with it the circuit christian cron is nosy will be coming in this time around he has 17 laps on the board so does the car behind but Lauren Heinrich has served that third pit stop fierce competition so should be good for seconds offal I don't forget he was catching the race leader as well well it's counting down it's just over talking her 37 minutes to go in this race I don't think what time but what if you Bruce exactly what Lauren Heinrich doesn't want because he pitted early and he's trying to make up time now having said that Christian trotters did that cars fastest lap the race last time around a 52 for which was three tenths quicker than the leader but I think there's more time in the Heinrich car and I think he's beam must be failing he's being held up at the Mormons he will get the opportunity I think to go after the leader I reckon the leader around the least he could go another couple of laps what there might be gambling on here at Williams eSport is counting back from the end as the leader at this it going nor tires at the end remember they did a seven and then I think I said it wasn't five did nine it was seven and five well they could do they're on five at the moment so we know that can do at least another couple of laps for the leader and then just do a splash and stand still for fewer seconds at less time and possibly not putting new set of tires on to run to the end Bruce I think that's the East for Williams East water strategy here and they've been helped by valve and horse really slowing up and Rick at the BS competition gun they are lon I'm Ricky's best lap time seven minutes forty nine point one seconds his last one seven it's fifty two point four so you're talking two point three three point three seconds slower but don't forget these further into the stint on those tires they didn't change tires at their pit stop and oh this they're going to be hoping praying horse BMW with Christian Conyers comes into the pits this time around they wanted out of the way it's now the car up ahead is this going to be an opportunity for one to fumble I want to go on past Conyers right to the edge of the circuit I think I might be the get speed car one of the gets paid cars but they're closing in on at the moment actually but dare to take all this damage on that car it that he made a slight mistake that Robyn's pants and profiting ever since then has been Chris Lauren Heinrich and looked very easy in the end but Kronos hasn't quite backed out of it yet now he's gonna have to who's on the wrong side of the track but again it just showed how strong a toe you can get up through joshing at her and very very good from Lauren Heinrich but don't forget he's the quicker driver at this stage in the race and will that BMW from the white bread a blue on David's door no he's not so it made it even more important that overtaking maneuver was preceded by Lauren Heinrich absolutely see what the gap is down to the race leader don't forget before the pit stops but of course at the moment 1/16 but the car leading Dominic dive in the williams esports audi has got a pit stop to serve until there won't be new tires going on if there are it'd be disaster no they had the last time but he's going to need almost all of that advantage because Heinrich yes he's lost time behind Christian promise he's now in front of corners in the white red and blue BMW so Heinrich should be able to stretch away but I think those last two laps were very very expensive boarding it wasn't a bad lap by Heinrich nah that was out love which was 843 including the pit stop poor Crimea's did a 752 and the leader did a 750 so effectively Heinrich did it 752 as well because he was tucked up the rear wing of that the other pmw for pretty much all of that laughs and I wonder if any chance has just disappeared the Williams eSports team seems to have played the strategy beautifully I wouldn't expect Dominic's dive to be taking tires he's on lap six over a stint that will probably come to an end at the end of this warm when he's completed a lot seven rather he sees odd now he's completed six lat and I'd expected the same coming and then just have it what are we talking about four laughed - to the end of the race yeah they had fresh tires last time around in the pits for Williams eSports on their Audi that 109 car so I doubt that happened this time around and I think he should come out with about a 20-second advantage over Lauren Heinrich because Heinrich could have had a chance to cut into it but you got stuck behind Christian Conyers there did very well to get past but I think that was an absolutely key moment who William e-sports and the driver in the virtual he's the crackpot with Kevin bulb in the board in the Phoenix racing car but he's already done six laps we haven't seen anybody do more than seven in one of the SP night cars yet but I was suggesting the second but still has an eye on the podium top six meter by kevin volt for Phoenix racing and their team car with Dan long rich behind the wheel of the 14 and 5 respectively that's your top six at the moment what what an interesting race and the strategy I've got to see it for the Williams team when Sammy money came in after just five laps in the middle of the race I wouldn't if they've got that right Bruce they have not just got it right they've got it very right indeed well by the time he came in after the end of that shortened second stint they already had such a comfortable advantage over over 22nd that was something none of the other teams got to enjoy through the course this race they were sitting on a very very useful cushion and also as Dominic's dive is on their books as one of their eSports drivers they know exactly what he can do it's not like there's a great big performance drop-off so it wasn't a great mystery in that and they just had the ability to call the race as they wanted to but the spade work was done by the the Finn who started sanding Matty token and they had the luxury of sending Dominic's tie back to finish the job he's being cautious here around the final that no need to take risk what what was it 101 minutes 14 seconds the advantage over Lauren Heinrich BMW but at three homes in here I know you don't like me saying that but that's all he's got it in the track map what really needs to be driven out through Berg Berg down through the gearbox rules the car through they're not even using the exit curves now Sammy Maddox rogon's start at this car and Dominic's bringing it home he'll know he's got a lead he does not have to take any chances at all here and what he needs to do now with half a lap completed is just stay out of trouble still enough sunshine to cast shadows and it's just 22 degrees on the track it's barely changed from the start of the race went up a little bit in the middle hour then strop back again a degree Celsius for the air temperature as Dominic comes to the right-hander at the bottom of the run to the carousel the question that he will be asking his team and he will be in competition he'll be wanting to know how the track looks ahead he's got a little bit of traffic ahead of him but not too much does he now can start to pick he's way through some of the other classes Bruce Jones we've seen a three-hour racing at which relatively accurately very accurately indeed has mirrored the three hour competitions that were used to see three and four hour competitions it's green world with a sheet by a team and it's down to just three seconds between first and second that it score simracing still in second position but now it's not syndra set such as his teammate Carl Yan Sandy's left it very late but he's hunting down Marcus deck let's see where they sit at the end of the race which is coming up very soon because as we can see looking at the main screen the race leader is getting towards heat three course the way around the final lap 23rd and final lap at Dominick's tide stroking home one minute 13 seconds the good but still battles as I said being fought in the two in the three junior classes most notably in the Cup three girls miles kook RSL underscore studio I've really enjoyed this fascinating broadcast even took you for my one walk of the deer by the RSL audio player it was star for Williams eSports wins round 2 of the NL SCH powered v AC or and even some donuts at the end of the wrist that stick some final thoughts from brace jods enjoyable way to spend three hours I really really admire not only the way this virtual racing has been developed and the accuracy of the cars the images but also the way they were raced really clean thoroughly thoroughly enjoyable and Real Racing has gone away for a while and I think it's a very very good standard and I think it obviously continues alongside when the racing continues again Marcus Dec just coming through to win the stint the 399 car has come through to take that category of the Robert clot and Asha racing but win the Porsche 911 cook class and barring any issues on the final lap it will be full send racing with an 18-second lead at the moment but who should come through and your king is running nicely it's Robert clots for Ashland racing in the 227 when he's got a bit of trap to himself at the moment in the black Porsche as he comes through he'll be finishing in a couple or three minutes just looking at the top of the timing screen to see who's come through and been confirmed 23 laps completed the s competition finished a minute and 12 behind the leaders took three seconds out the leader on the last lap but really didn't have the pace today maybe didn't quite get the strategy right either they took a chance on their last stop we came in a little bit earlier Arana Alex Arana and kering a good run for Marla Racing team to get them on the podium just five seconds ahead of Jack Sedgwick HTP win would play the strategic game as well but Jack with a tiny mistake a couple of laps from the end would he have been able to hold on even without that I'm not sure so that's your top four still here tickets that's the one on dying Lina Dominic's dive continues to burn out the taste can't get told off from you team chief of course put all the revving the engine or anything still waiting for Asha racing to come through he's just taking things very easy at the moment he's about halfway round the lap I'm also picking an eye on the TCR category as well the glory sound of a flat six of Robert clots and Asha racing who will take the Porsche Cup class ring time full scent racing congratulations to them they're a little bit further round the lap at the 485 black and bright green and the rs3 TCR will win in that plastered look very competitive early on we did have that line gross of five Howdy's which got brought the knot but I think there must have been something there that happened towards the end of the race because we lost a couple of us that those frontrunners what we did I mean it what was clear was that full sound racing had the best balanced driver line-up started by Dean Leger then Europe in France brought it home that got them clear by 18 seconds at the end of the race but certainly the rest are very closely matched but I think they suffered when the SP nine cars came through that broke them up with a few little bit wide and in the final stint the race we saw I saw in the background of shots quite a few for the TCR cars trying a bit of lawn mowing at the side of the circuit so that bones have helped them too much indeed but four full same rating the 485 car really really good race to victory for them we're going to try and get a word with one or both of the winning drivers from Williams in sports at the top of the championship mid-week motorsport next week we will get at least one of them for our vc or victory circle interview that will play in the midweek motorsport on Wednesday I'm going to try and get comp from a stop at the moment they might've logged out and have other things to do we want to see these last class winners home I'll be the Audi that comes home but first of all and as I see it that was shaping up to be a cracking run just got about a couple of minutes on this lap for the Audi and from once the TCR car with pretty much the place to himself and this is a glorious feeling in some respects he knows there'll be no faster cars coming around to pass him now his team will have told them that week so can't afford to drop it it's got to get this car home at the end of the race [Music] he'll come home ahead of the Martin a came in second place just checking to see if they're on the same lap I think they are and dot XE eSports will be in third place and there were yes all on the same lap so there is still a bit of pressure for the leader there and the full scent bracing OD and with one of the 911 come two cars coming around behind you need to just let that car go no sense in fighting there we have seen strange things happen on final laps before yeah beautiful out of the throttle and Lex T faster poor should go through very smart driving from your Kim yeah and the car that the car that just passed it to 71 that's the t3 motorsport car isn't fighting physicians so neither of those drivers needed to take a had the key man through and there's the 22 27th the Asha Racing car Robert Klotz brings that home ahead of thee sim RC Cup in second place and those were the only two cars on the lead lap there samar sea-cook car coming through just a few seconds behind asha racing it are on the side of there and the 2 to 7 then wins that class for the Porsche cars let's take a quick look at the final results and remind you of what happened at the sharp end of things with Williams eSport winning by over a minute at the end from PS competition they saw BMW with me MW meet in the Audi bred smaller in third position HTP the first of the mercedes-benz Jack Sedgwick trying to hold on the third position in the end after some nice strategy and then a bevy of Audis from Phoenix Reyes Union and the second Phoenix car before the Mercedes and the other champs coming through at the end of the top 10 outside the top ten not it not necessarily easy runs for all of these they are class positions by the way not necessarily over all positions there were some problems further down the field for some of the SP nine cars as far as the classes are concerned we waited to see all of them come through as well and the leading Porsche coming through in 11th position overall by just fifteen seconds at the end Missy marcy and then the sim racing Academy with Mario he remember running on he's on for the haul of that race at least that was what the timing said proton racing were up there at one stage but couldn't make the podium ahead of h2 performance in the top six made up by rev-match a sports the Cayman gt4 class well that was a good battle as well wasn't it we had three and four of those cars tracking each other around the circuit and eventually in cup three that was won by simracing channel black Marcus dick pulling out to or when there was a change at the end the second core racing team lost second position Carly Hanson gets ahead of syndra shatzer so the two Koko's switching round on the last lap and have odd hop gaming there on the fourth place just off the poor teen and the TCR results we have already given you just to confirm that's the TCR that was a great win from the 485 machine let's see if we can have a chat with some of the guys from the front of the field Alex Arana are you are you able to hear or see a user was moved to your turn great to have you here Alex good run for you and a rich that you will you were pleased with could you have done anything different you will move strong at the end there yeah we are not happy about the race because your pace was really good and to fight for the win but from the beginning we got cut on the start we lose two places and from that the race was so much complicated for us we got from them a child show from rhinology district our and from that it was a difficult race because we lacked some top speed on and in the end we we reach the podium we honest we are not really happy and you know it's racing sometimes what was the what was the strategy was a stint and a half on the time it's all the time or did you change ties at each stop no we didn't change styles in the first stop because we think that it was better for the strategy traffic wise but we got damage on that the scene and the race was almost over or at least they fight for the win for us so okay you're not going to be happy Alex put getting third back at the end there Jack made a little mistake you were able to to to seize on that sort of place after the problem earlier almost not as best as you could have hoped for yeah and that was the rest of what we coul achieve after the problems so not really a shot but you know when you have pace to fight for the win is no dance and you sit back yes absolutely mullah racing team a Christine canopy no and Alex those GTS coming up on you what's the key from will drive cars around the Nurburgring you're the slowest of the classes you've got excellent battles because effectively it's an all-out e-class anywhere what's the key just keeping your nose clean and being there for your partner so that they can take it on in the second half of the race definitely keeping the nose clean is very useful their side of this race s you probably saw was a lot of the front three of us would be saving lots of fuel because the fuel time on these cars is really slow so I jumped about four seconds and stopped just by saving a bit of fuel at the start and didn't lose any track position that's a one big key of driving there TCR in general and win very good you got to be happy with that are you doing the full end I was on two and in the car in the lead was no fresh tires in the end so he's tried to hunt him down and I knew with the damage we had that he was gonna fly by me on the straight come that last lap anyway so I let him go into the carousel and hopefully I just hope that he could catch the leader and then maybe have a go at him but yeah that never happened so it was gonna be p3 anyway in the end there with our car was but yeah just racing you gave us some fantastic entertainment when you were right in behind the leader a Marcus for simracing Channel black I think you must have followed him about an inch off his bumper it seems for about three laps do you must know every single decal on the part of the car things go name is a sticker right in the middle of the rear bumper and all it's done that you must be sick of the sight of that white and it managed to pass it though so it was good but yeah it's it's actually so similar to the battle I had there in real and mine last year and yeah it's just crazy racing to be able to have that much fun it's so good best to you and the rest to Cheney coming back a couple of weeks time definitely all right man have a good one thanks for the side so he couldn't go as quick assist on the straights so we kind of like to go there in the end to try and catch up to the leader but it was just too far away obviously it's a single manufacturer single car class with all the Porsches in there Minh to ask this earlier on actually is it open setting so you're all on the same setup now we're on they're different setups it so we're allowed to do whatever we want with their car so yeah and did you feel that the car was good for you today did you have I mean it looked like the guy say we're out in front had a really good pair syndra give them a run for their money in the middle part of his stint but just couldn't make one of the passes stick um I think I think the car was the quickest today at least have not had a lot of driving on this track so he did a great job with it limited testing he had done I think he dropped us back a little bit but the car itself was amazing to go fast well we've enjoyed it you gave us some great entertainment in in the GT for the kid GT for category thanks very much for being with us and hopefully we'll be talking to you again and the next one in a couple of weeks time yeah thank you guys so we phasers move to your channel the guys our last one season has moved out of your channel worse second in TCR in the port to it Martin he's still with us yeah hey Martin good sit good to have you perfect had a really good partner in the the the Audi TT our classes it as it is with all the rs3 they're the the guys at the head of the field didn't have it all the wrong way at one stage I think there was five cars lying astern that was a fantastic battle did you enjoy it yeah it was a good battle I mean in the beginning we were not there we kind of mess of quality so we were driving kind of in the back and after that we try to maintain the pace and we yeah we catched up to the to the whole group and that some stuff happened I don't know I think some crashes happened and we moved up nicely into the field with a good last inch for me it all started when the ladies were coming through and I'm not even sure what happened but we lost a couple and things got spread out a little bit what was the tire strategy for the TCR do you have to change all the tires at every at every stop what can you managed to get a couple of stints out of them we actually only do front on the whole race so we drive with the rear for the complete race we only did the one set of rear tires to two tires on the front every time and then filling up and then we go again well it's Martin Haven a good friend of ours and sometimes speak particularly on the Nurburgring always says and he's no it's all about tearing cars he says the rear tires on a front-wheel drive turn encourages there to stop the exhaust from scraping on the ground yeah I think it's a bit more than that actually just the four classes in the NL s power 5 AC or this year you are the slowest of the classes does that make the concentration levels even higher because you've got some of the quickly classes coming through from about halfway through the race yeah it's it's it's a challenge we always make sure we have a good supporter I hadn't and yeah gives a lot of information far beyond me who exchanged a lot of information during the race especially when the TT fries are coming in its history differences hi so does some strategy management reviewing the race and that's that's cool makes it interesting that's what I like about this one would cost at least well done and hopefully go one better in the next one
