hey everyone its Elizabeth here from primary pickles and I'm here to walk you through my 2020 2021 planner book this is from one-stop teacher shop on Teachers Pay Teachers I've been using her planners for the last three years now and I really liked them mostly because I can edit them I can print the pages that I want and leave the ones I don't and I can always add pages if I wanted to now last year last two years I've gotten it bound at Office Depot which was fine but I found that I'm always wanting to add things to it and I got this big one this year because I'm gonna add all of our standards reference grading papers in it this cover is when I made myself she does give you that option she has lots of really really cute covers but I decided to make my own because it's gonna match my classroom theme so she gives you the template and you can do that yourself so I just printed the cover page again for the inside and I laminated it so that I could use this busy day template for my daily tasks I'm using a Visa v marker on it just because dry erase smudges so easily the wet erase doesn't dry completely but it is much more durable than the dry erase and then I also have in my busy week laminated with my class list on the back so that way of my class list change changes I can always change the ABC order in here and then she includes a lot of really great pages kind of things you wouldn't think of but are handy to have especially for like a subfolder like student photos student birthdays these are just my meeting note pages field trip like a field trip tracking form to see if they've paid permission slip and their contact number a daily schedule where are they so if you have students who go to speech or ot or something you can write that down here transportation so how the students name how they get to school and how they leave school student passwords I printed out a few of these pages because we usually have a reading one and a math one again this would be really handy for your substitute binder just in case a kid pretends that they don't know their password my cats meowing in the background sorry about that parent contact information just in case you need it like at a meeting medical information an IEP overview again I have these all saved like you have them forever so I can print out more of these if I need to my fire-drill roster I printed up two of these because I want to have some four reading groups some for math groups um because I feel like that's always when fire drills happen is when you don't have your own class so our procedures fire drill tornado drill evacuation lockdown medical emergency or other again very handy for substitutes and then I guess more photos calendar so again I personalize this which is really a really nice thing because none of them were not afore the covers were really quite what I wanted this year they're all like beautiful and everything but they weren't what I wanted so these are just my calendar pages you can do a two page or a one page and they go all the way through the end of the year and I printed my like little dividers on cardstock so I could tell when the next section section is so these are my lesson plans something new I think its new this year is a curriculum map so I can write down like my main things that I need to cover each month so like August you know it might be doing short a words you know I could write it for all the different things and then there's also one that I could use for each unit and again I laminated this so I can just erase it as I need to and then the lesson plans again you can customize this so I have ela reading tier math social studies science and leader in me which is we our leader in school so I wanted to have a section for that so I could write down when we're doing those activities I'm just gonna skip all the way to the next thing and I printed all these double-sided which is really handy okay next I have my grades my goal is that to really write down my grades because I like having them with me and it just makes me kind of double check to make sure I have everything so I have second quarter first quarter fourth quarter and everything and then I have other pages so for example I printed out my standards for my school or for my state so I live in Kansas so these are the ela standards and I just went on the website and printed them out this was such a lifesaver this year because I could really I used it a lot like in PD's I just whipped it out and said oh here's you know if I'm looking for a text type and purpose standard I can look here and what I really liked is that ours included what the kindergarten standard looks like and what the second grade standard will look like so I teach first grade so this is our goal but if a kid hasn't met this then I'm going to start here and then I can work my way up and then I also did the same thing for math which again was really great this is more of like the calendar of how we go through the year but it has all the standards listed and that was really candy and then we also had bees I think I'm going to laminate these as well but these are just like small group planning pages my team rotates for a map and for reading I'm not sure what that will look like this year if we decide to do that but this is handy because I can kind of break it up by my little groups because I really try to individualize all that stuff and I printed out a ton of these so I'll probably go through them before I laminate them and that is my entire planner for the year like I said I got this big binder because I'm gonna be adding a lot of srg stuff and then if I wanted to add my staff handbook stuff or you know directories or whatever I can add that in here as well so I really like the flexibility of this planner because I always found that there was something else I wanted to add to it but like if you get a bound one it's hard to add things to it afterwards okay so I hope you like this I'll link her shop down below it was a really fair price I want to say it was like under $20 and you use it every single year so I don't have to pay $20 every year whatever the price is I bought it once and I used I use it every year I got this printed to Office Depot and I think the whole thing probably cost me 20 dollars a year to print and that's really only because I print a lot of things in color so that's it hope you guys enjoyed it and I'll talk to you soon bye
