2019 NYC Travel Vlog - Shooting photos around New York City

what is up everyone it's kelly one and i'm in nyc staying at the moxie in downtown [Music] [Applause] [Music] um i'm here for the week thanksgiving week maybe go to the macy's day parade and uh right now i'm just getting finished and getting ready i'm about to head out in the city and see what i can find and this is oh this is the hotel it's a cool room but it's a tiny room and there's the power there's no closets it's bathroom which is nice with little art peephole into the other room but here's the closet it's just a bunch of hangers on a wall anyways i'm gonna head out in the city get some food and um see some [Music] [Applause] [Music] peace [Applause] [Music] so um right now i'm in downtown new york walking around seasonal lights up it's looking damn pretty more seasonal lights i was out here last night real pretty but pretty bitter cold at least it's not snowing right now and i can enjoy some sunshine and a little warmth by wednesday it's supposed to snow so we'll see what happens i just love new york so much to see so much to look at people watching architecture it's visual assault on the eyes in the sights sounds and smells not always great but it's still an awesome city walk over to one world trade center 911 memorial um my friend janine just meet me up in a little bit so i'm gonna have to head back to the hotel to meet up with her but i'm staying only a couple blocks from one went to trade center so i thought i'd pop over here my friend damian also gets here on sunday he'll join me for the rest of the trip so as you all know there are pools in place where the towers used to be this is one of the them shoots up on 911 and it's also another pool over there where the other tower used to be and then around it we have the names lost new towers so quick short story here she is wandering through h m [Music] yeah what is this this is h m and uh italy up top i don't know it's like a minnie mouse westfield mini mall you wanna go inside sure right yeah we can go wherever there's another floor down see and then you get to one little trade center am i going to teach you yeah yeah we're right there basically yeah see now we're entering the oculus oh is it those things yeah you not been to the oculus i literally work that's it i told you i i could take you around new york that you haven't seen yeah well we'll go there so you can see oh nice that's what you think you're gonna like it it's gonna be pretty but it's not as cool as oh i see what you're saying yeah the christmas stuff does ruin it yes it really does this is the primo view up here where you can just see all of it minus christmas decorations yeah so we are at the oculus and this is her first time here i know she's lived here for a little while now all i do is work yeah so i'm going to show her things she hasn't seen cool huh [Music] i'm gonna show her the new york she should know now we are headed to fulton's center fulton street station which is uh highly photographed wow the a c d j z r w one two three four five yeah so this is the fulton street station highly photographed area yeah they have a donut place here isn't it right now you know what so we're in times square and uh i'm gonna stop filming because i'm actually gonna try and enjoy a little bit of this it's uh sunday morning i'm here with nikki from london uh we met last night the hotel then we're hanging out and we're going to go walk the brooklyn bridge waiting for the train hopefully it should be here any minute nikki is here for a job interview and she's moving here brush your fingers she gets the job we're gonna catch this train high street [Music] i don't know if you can hear me it's windy rainy and noisy but it's super foggy also which is cool and uh so we're gonna walk across the bridge and deal with [Applause] but it still works [Music] we are on the brooklyn bridge it is [Music] so we have that yeah like i don't get the special margaritas like i like a margarita they're so good naturally yeah they are so we are on the manhattan bridge right now it is still raining still still foggy but we're walking to manhattan bridge above chinatown and and we're gonna uh a little ways across the manhattan bridge you can see the wonderful graffiti hopefully it'll stop raining soon and usually there's a hole cut in the fence oh nope they keep patching it up yeah so but they keep coming through catching it up but this is a spot that everybody takes photos at so we're continuing a walk of manhattan bridge huh it is i think and it's stopping raining nothing we can celebrate but and then here's the oh yeah you can see they cut holes and then patched it up yeah quite a lot yeah oh yeah yeah this won't last by friday but this is a good perspective with the freeway city brooklyn bridge and at night the sunset is over that way so you'll get like clouds and it can be really gorgeous [Music] so and uh it's almost sunset or it is sunset but we're going to hit time square broadway see it's like that it's been raining pretty much all day but uh finally made it got some food took a little rest and now we're gonna hit the ground running until friday morning [Music] [Music] so [Music] in brooklyn heights right now uh taking shots daytime long exposure i'm here with damian this is just gorgeous everybody comes here i don't care i still love it and it's not raining the sun's out a little bit of clouds it's a gorgeous day and the photo's done hopefully it came out three minute shot i'm going to let damian borrow my filters i use breakthrough photography's uh magnetic nd filter nd nd15 they have a whole sweet system so i can easily load it and load my filters to somebody else as long as i have the right adapter i get the right threads but i just love this brooklyn heights area so cool damian taking a standard selfie nyc selfie it's a classic damien shot we are now near a carousel between brooklyn bridge and manhattan bridge another i bridge that's williamsburg bridge so just use such a beautiful area city skyline shots and everything [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] so we just stayed at timeout market and it was pretty good all right let's say what's up what's up sup um you basically can get whatever the you want there because they have every type of food almost imaginable um and now we're gonna try and suit sunset at uh same place we were just at [Music] now we're at irish hunger memorial in new york just pretty spot beautiful structure architecture take some photos just such a cool beautiful structure seven six five four three two [Music] one [Music] is so we just shot at the irish hunger memorial danny lewis damien lewis scott.t december devil and uh now we're gonna head to the bar actually uh lewis got to go home we're gonna head to the bar and meet a friend at um the moxie in times square largest rooftop bar hopefully it's still open hopefully that's not too cold gonna get a couple drinks oh no it's been a good day i didn't even realize yeah i love nyc uh it's called a rock scramble so it's like it's literally like in between rocks you can't carry your bag it's hard so i have these high topping rods um that look exactly like my air horse bones but they're black but um we just finished shooting in this small glorious room and i'm here with damian and deja and we are about to head to the street to get some more
