2015-2017 Mustang Bumper Sag / Broken Tab FIX

I'm going to go ahead and try to fix this bumper sag here on a lot of the 15 to 17 Mustangs um these tabs on the corner will break off so on this corner all of them have broken off my bumper Ford's recommended repair is to replace the whole bumper cover which is I mean close to a thousand dollars after a paint so in this video basically I'm just going to show you how you can kind of tuck it up clean it up make it look good again for cheap basically free basically there's one zip tie you'll kind of remove the fender liner zip tie one of the bumper mounts back up to the bracket it'll kind of close this Gap it's a quick fix um not the proper way but at least it will look good for cheap so to start we'll basically just take out this pin right here uh this pin up here and then if you want you could take out this top pin it's not necessary but for now we'll just take out these two over here and we'll go from there so I removed the two pins and then you can kind of get the fender liner out of this lip up here and pull it back and we can see we're going to go to this top hole here and we're going to go around this bracket up here we're actually going to go below um this bracket right here I don't know if I'm pointing to it there we're gonna go under that so down here and actually over this area right here so I'll go ahead and show you what that looks like so here's the zip tie you can see it's going under this bracket it's going through the headlight basically Above This top bracket okay so I now have the zip tie routed back down over that bracket and through here so I'll just go ahead and tighten it up and we will see how it looks all right so I went ahead and tightened up the zip tie I kind of have to put pressure on the bumper upwards and sometimes push in a little bit um it definitely tightens up this Gap it's not perfect but it is definitely way better than it was and you can actually put the pin back in over where the zip tie went don't know if you can see it in there let me turn on the light there we go so I don't know if you can see it in there but you can actually put the pin in in the same slot that you actually put the zip tie because it's tight enough um in case you're wondering I used 11 inch zip ties so these are kind of small um but 11 inches is enough to get the bumper all the way tied up
