organ wins attack will receive the opening campus Arizona facing it third three top 10 opponents the 10th ranked organ donor and pick on through the end zone for a touchback so take a look now at chick-fil-a impact links for Oregon it starts with the Darrin Zama the unquestioned leader at the ductus really grown in his maturity understanding the game even more and believe it or not playing faster than it sees in the goal of Michael James busy nights per quarterback if will Michael to hand off to a running back Michael Michael if he's not the best running back in America is the most explosive and Derek horrible play both inside and outside imperative he gets his front 7 to play with aggression and downhill the theme first in 10 for Oregon from the 20 the Michael James in the backfield look this here because I'm enabling [Music] from behind by lamar juego but there is a penalty flag down as thomas is very slow getting off duck fans remembering significant injury to dennis dixon here on this field i want to see commas go down personal foul close calling tackle on the defense number 93 a 15-yard penalty will be added to the end of the run first and Lamar Drago the defensive end and by rule anytime that skill position player is outside the box and pulls him down crowd applause that was not inside that was outside of the calf about Thomas the throw on first down complete to the outside David pulse in the tight end and quickly the Ducks get ready for second in short after the completion to pulse and as you watch tonight but there's success on first downs you can expect that bold he snapped enough furry for organ the Thomas from the 35 keep it again first down Thomas tripped up by Trevon Wade after faking the give to LaMichael James last year Darron Thomas was very active in the run game against Arizona they will commit to stopping the run with the front seven they're in shows he's fully capable and athletic enough with the lane there to move the chains of his legs both games in Varner behind Darrin Thomas in the backfield person again Thomas keeps again cut back to get positive yards when Derrick girls and the rest of the cats had him behind the line but Thomas gets away the real frustration defensive coordinator for Arizona assignment football when you play the read zone for Arizona in this case you've got two defenders that couldn't be in better position their girls are in tight player he's got to make that play second ensure Thomas to the ear completing for a first down near the 30 its respond Vaughn the junior college transfer to Lucas [Applause] Oregon 51 points a game for the last two weeks they've hung big numbers on Nevada and Missouri state versus an opening drive to the Ducks on the Arizona 30 meanwhile the pack gives a doesn't he three really good office another good one tonight Thomas keeps it again Darrin calm is rolling for a nine yard pickup to make it second in short Chip Kelly 1980 drive this season for his dog oven five less than a minute back to what Arizona does not want to see Oregon do and that is to get into rhythm and tempo no negative plays for the Wildcats that's a recipe for disaster Mike Stoops knows it James makes the comments on second insurance this final Michael James hit good and rolled for an Oregon first down stopped just outside the 10 running back - Sophie candidate [Applause] samus and off King kicking inside the fire down Michael James in Oregon on opening drive touchdown for the duck that just mean Carter did Oregon look like they're playing in a different speed than Arizona in that opening drive we talked about penetration do you see any penetration there is none not Arizona he sent the front is that a stalemate when you're in a stalemate you got a jitterbug like the Michael James that spells real problems when you can't tackle her face that yards after contact you need a lot of touchdowns even 80 yards on the opening drive for Oregon 53 of them on the ground this is all the Hondo Maldonado who's going to pay a fee for Oregon rockier did not make the Crick injured for organ first the backup kicker Maldonado who sneaks it through really need to get it going they have to get it going here early the last thing you can do is dig yourself a hole against Oregon Thomas the throw on first down incomplete intended for LaMichael James Previn way barren coverage the senior from Round Rock the corner for Arizona who was excited about the opportunity to play against the duck you saw Thomas on the back end a point of emphasis for us in that front four that's a four-man rush we Aleman to get into the legs once again a Darron Thomas so a couple big hits to comment back into the pen now in the backfield Thomas will see for this time he is met and draw Lamar Diego makes the stop his time now come over to stop James bottles makes the grab leans for an apparent Oregon firs down hauls a solo there on the stop so third and eight Arizona has Oregon backed up to third and eight ducks convert to keep the momentum on the Oregon side second level of years own those linebackers just getting a little too much depth for the Michael James showing his versatility out of the backfield toppika throwing first down down the middle incomplete intended for tuna in area for Oregon this season tonight Trevon Wade one of the better corners in the pac-12 last year Darron Thomas had Jeff Maehl he had the home run hitter the go-to guy in those one-on-one situations where there is no safety it could take the top off and be a difference maker Chip Kelly very much still developing that receiver and Aaron Thomas trying to find that continuity down the field Allison is the blocking of CJ Davis from the lodge receiver position I'm out Arizona prior to second down DJ Davis second pan LaMichael James takes it around great we're in the Arizona Territory for an Oregon first down actually run that don't stretch into a very tight boundary watch organ tonight I told you defensively you've got a dent you've got to defensively get upfield and squeeze that zone watch organs very athletic group that Chip Kelly has it's young it's an experience it's still trying to gel on that offensive line but they move sideline and sideline is good at anybody play action on Thursday tom is throwing inside the 30 and speaking of young and athletic got D Anthony Thomas the crew freshman print Shaw high school in LA old and showing his level of frustration too early for your senior leader on the back end I like the emotion like being vocal but you can't panic against Oregon they will continue to be patient in the follicle as you're a senior leading some inexperience around got a future career they take on first down tom is to the end it is just overthrown for the Anthony Thomas Lee they have to have have your back when you've lost as Mike has last five conference games you can't afford with the way you running the ball this is going kappa rome ii down for another duck first in game this one just outside the 11 another miss tackle can't be a more explosive backfield in college football there may be some teams with more top end talent but as far as running four guys out can be difference makers you're not going to find it anywhere else or again hurry to the line on first down this is Varner inside the pen to make it second down the Anthony Thomas you referenced earlier he the second-leading wide out on this team fastest 200 meters and in the country last year of any high school or Varner's of burner but Michael James is explosive no by the way Josh Huff - took 185 against the Catholic days ago those four by the Arsenal like well organ runs it again turning up field again uncocks his Kenyan border two possessions for Oregon to Russian cut down and a two-touchdown lead early in the first how many times have you heard dome blocking to put your foot in the ground and go look at the offensive line get some movement you show daylight then explosiveness of this backfield and your day [Music] Maldonado PhD makes the 14-nothing defense coordinator to kiss he feared that organ could take advantage of any weakness that you presented exactly what they've done to opening drives that didn't fire who tackled in the open field look humble make the stop brick a second to play we're three seniors and that ball security for anarchy and happen I look like Justin Blackman today get the ball in [Applause] you can't afford that you're not good enough right now at Arizona losing seven consecutive two FBS schools five in a row within the conference the little details Stoops knows that it just drives him crazy to watch his veterans make these kind of mistakes [Applause] Sabine Kari get the couple but third down again for the cat cool [Applause] [Music] Russell down at the 48 by Eddie Pleasant 18 you pick up on third down pull us apart so Kelly cannot get more clear in his evaluation of this game you know that organic and score some points offensively the key matchup to him with Nick Foles in his estimation top five quarterback in America David Shaw week ago at Stanford's that Knicks the most underrated college quarterback playing and if he gets started and he can make some of these plays chip knows some of these matchups favored Arizona on the outside those rolling on first down so he's the back danger of pass but it is caught by Morrison after a couple of misses folded completed his last three [Applause] Gary get to the second level 225 and it doesn't find the grazing down a question from right here in Tucson and quickly becoming a fan favorite this is a guy I like he has got some bursting from athleticism and no offense to fuel antolín this is a different guy you the north-south grinder Gary's the explosiveness the home run hitter recruited by most schools within the pac-12 he's got a different year he said he did like the organ he got you know film option but still tough if Arizona they carry side the 22 make a second cure from inside the doctor 20 online so red zone now for Arizona where they have struggled to put it in the end zone and when they haven't put it in the end zone they've struggled to put it through the upright just one of three last season against Oregon scoring touchdowns when you don't run it effectively it's awfully hard as the field condensers in the red dome to provide the balance you need to attack the defense [Applause] to the box count runner check to the end zone almost intercepted intended for krump john-boy at the free safety got both hands on a really nice job by Nick Foles what I mean by a box count runs checks when they get into these situations it's all about the numbers around the line of scrimmage and when Nick Foles sensed pressure and watch the safeties come over the top he gets out of the run call tries to hit his home run just a little bit too much air on that ball to safety recovers third down in three and when Arizona has struggled mightily in the kicking game you think about threw it down just about every time Gary takes it on 33 still off and drop so it's fourth and one Rutgers Arizona do now Arizona going Carrie move the chains first down Arizona first and ten from the 15th Angela back in at tailback Ott's around the line of scrimmage how many bodies are in there will dictate a run past halt stop great present complete on the outside breaking away from the first tackle is puckered and they get a positive game too near the dam doron Kriner at the top of the screen matched up with a red Kurt Pressman parents Mikkel fold the throne complete full carats in coverage [Applause] the easier throw to the boundary without about it and Buckner off the coast the best foot is out of them the crowd wants to replay clearly see his foot on the white paint third down and six heavy pressure coming back home again input bleed again intended for Buckner with cliff Harrison coverage now it's fourth and six [Applause] good hold they came through college campus is the punter and the holder and he'd get a terrific hold down allowing Alexander Haas the Buddha through [Applause] [Music] I'm catch not so stellar on the smell as here it is just been a constant source of frustration including last week when it was I made Salazar against Stanford into the hack started a second half [Applause] [Music] again 6210 football game of that point put six more on the board here you can succeed with pink really the turning point and all of these losses we talked about could have not even been happening Mike Stoops last year if they function within a PhD in the territory over there to Arizona tape they don't have this losing streak that the curtain damas play-action furs down here Harvick looking long completed for Josh off the sophomore from Houston Breanna lifetime Oregon had the football bomb his peeps boss is on second cane Clark turns the corner first down duck the corner beats Robert golden to the edge if you're wondering how that ankle was feeling and whether Kenyon barner was going to come back full speed if you've seen all of that speed clearly back chip said he'd be about 90% for this game just yet another weapon in a very deep skill set Gorgon in that backfield final half of the first comet swings it with a black hair corner 35 Kenyan Barna wrapped up in the open field by Paul and going with a College Football Hall of Fame one of the key members of that famous desert swarm d-pads honored on the field between the first and second quarters here at Arizona Stadium Bednarik Nagurski is Outland Trophy notes first play of the second quarter LaMichael James carries for brief game Trotter Blackburn with warmer all packed in quarterback Rock Huard here in Arizona third Street cops an opponent for the Arizona Wildcat an Arizona team who has struggled moves 7:08 overall 37 for Oregon Thomas stepping away from presser well Michael James who had the pit block that allow Thomas time to throw makes the grab for the first down it's incredibly disheartening for a defense to get into the third down situations against Oregon and on two occasions tonight LaMichael James has been the outlet receiver third leading receiver for the Ducks should not come as a surprise for the Wildcats they will check it down to him why because that speed he has to get to the first down marker [Applause] first congenital michael james again from the core in James is left to the races finally knocked out inside the ten by watery Justin Hoffman outside may not catch a lot of passes to watch the block anytime you see explosive runs the Michael's had 11 of these in his career over 50 yards those receivers on the outside very very physical well coached position group by Scott Brock inside the 15 Thomas hands on TV Anthony Thomas who picked up maybe three or four [Applause] Oregon didn't have a play over 25 yards in the opening loss to LSU in Arlington explosive plays big for the Ducks when they're on the roll again it's David pulse in the senior tight end who holds it in quick strike drive to begin the second quarter for the duck what you've seen unfortunately for Arizona defensively tonight they've let one bad play lead to a second or a third to get organ into that third down situation they nearly sack Thomas instead the little dump down but Michael gets the first down the next play the chunk play and they're just on their heels instead of responding to adverse situations when that bad play negative play comes unfortunately for Arizona they can't stop it Maldonado makes it 21 to 3 Oregon on Arizona in crew from Tucson Arizona organ any wonderful comments grown up is that what you mean by hinting at lateral movement from Oregon that's all oh it sure is to a degree now that's also the zone read and the option off for that and the solid we've seen on back-to-back play is getting into space in making the sound tackle right back to the line for second down low Michael Jean upfield there's jinx sending away James for a first down so even with a minus six on first down docks quick snap it binds the seam in James is up the field however there's an injured duck on the play that is the left tackle Darian Weems patience is an interesting word for a team that is so hurry up almost frenetic pace offense but you're saying patience in the plays that they're running knowing that it eventually even if you take a couple losses those plays are going to work that's exactly right it reminds me to a degree and I know this sounds crazy because the temple is very different is the Indianapolis Colts another stretch zone team a finesse team that just believes in what they do okay you got us 4-0 you got us for one but you know what we're going to do we're going to come back with play-action pass and we're going to stick to it because eventually we'll find your weakness and Tony Dungy knows this watching his son Eric tonight when the backup receivers for the Ducks eventually we're going to get you if we stay and stick to our details in our plan we're going to wear you down and we're going to make the big play you have plenty of experience in that Indianapolis Colt pistol [Music] watching I don't know flying Michael James takes it on first down picked up a couple flag down personal foul has to say on the defense number 97 15-yard penalty we added to the end of the run first and another senior right defensive and outside the end to the face he comes up under the chin strap to a degree I think it's more of the movement at tackles head snaps back that referee is looking at and drama play locks on the march again straight ahead for LaMichael you know what else that patience does and you see it on the other side for Arizona we saw very early with Robert golden you see it for moose when you see it on the sidelines it breaks down a themes composure on the other side when you're willing to just continue to body blow and body blow and body below eventually get the upper cut eventually that frustration seeps in so much for that defensive side of the ball and we've seen half in the first 30 minutes of the ballgame tonight second down in short play vector game for Thomas to throw fly [Applause] receiver for puck down Paulson there is a flag down illegal motion on the offense number 81 was moving forward at the pound the folios penalty second and run will fell to get all those linemen moving down field to get all your eyes into the backfield and sneak a tight end receiver outside with Pete play action shot Thomas on second down screen to go inside the pen and knock down hook was wrapped up near the line of scrimmage but somehow gets free on the screen organs really good I don't know if they're this good and what I mean by that they're really good in their system and getting people in one-on-ones I don't know if anybody should be able to run through two tackles as many times as the Ducks have done this evening that's Jordan Brandon the Nickelback for Arizona without miss pack allowing comments to throw on first and goal cuts down sucks it's Kenya on butter Darron Thomas has his second touchdown pass of the night once again you see the play-action pass and watch what it does your linebackers all the movement and it's that half second you hesitate for one moment your eyes in the backfield you lose leverage with the speed that Oregon has in the backfield expect Kenyon Bonner who had just seven rushing yards in the opener against LSU before he went out with an ankle injury Barner back on the field tonight a touchdown catch 47 or rush yards and the Ducks destroyed Arizona Thomas Moran : and he dropped on first down visited a little bit with LaMichael James earlier this week but talked about trying to run more physically say when he went back and watched that game tape from the LSU loss thought that he was not being aggressive enough running the football at defenders he said if you know especially now in pac-12 play conference play of icdbg I get run over and try and run over rather than trying to run around nothing will Michael said when who gets out of living for an advantage event and I'm in 195 pounds so what's bigger in that because the force in the velocity with which he boy as bar nurse it up on second down to bring up third down for the doc the Michael over a hundred tonight now averaging nearly eleven and a half yards of carry know if he's the best running back in America Trent Richardson would have something to say about that at Alabama Marcus Lattimore at South Carolina give me more complete backs as far as catching it and blocking in size and playing in the SEC and the Michael was got his taste against SEC in Auburn and LSU not fared quite the same way but as far as just pure dynamic and a guy you want on your team because at anytime he goes the distance he may be the most explosive running back in college football well Mike Stoops said yesterday where you face the best wide receiver the best quarterback in the best running back in his estimation LaMichael James three straight weeks and there's very little argument I think about the best wide receiver Justin Blackmon best quarterback Andrew Luck and the Michael James Dean's one of if not the best running backs in the country and that is that is quite a stack authentic group that Arizona has faced in three straight weeks Andrew Luck has no weakness Justin Blackmon has very very few though ball security a problem today down in College Station the by-and-large quick strong physical and the Michael's developing the other aspects that's the big guys Carson York the left guard unfortunately for Oregon we found Williams go down last drive and the Michael needs those big guys those are his veterans up front on the left side of the line well as Carson York struggles to the sideline is our bait time profile brought to you by Edward Jones first team all academic honors graduated in June his program for the [Applause] third down Thomas authorities caught by Paulson near a first down for Oregon inside the 20 Boston already has a touchdown grab Watley make the stop if that makes any sense all the height but intentional Michael James in the speed Aaron Thomas look you got an unblocked guy right in your face and you throw a bullet you have no problem throwing between the numbers if those throws out sides of the hash and sidelines it just need to continue to refine and take that next step and be like Andrew Luck where there's very very few weaknesses in your game how good was I school district 29 5a state of Texas Brock Darron Thomas Andrew Luck and for taking Michael Thomas all playing good 15 years it's the second team track team quarterback first looking at going in second 3/4 unless put it up momma's paralysis nap fantastic Jam 2002 and into the end zone LaMichael James puck down Oregon this duck rolling and Indian Alejandro Maldonado one for the pap it is good and it's 35 3 Oregon Arizona nothing more news for the Alejandro Maldonado's kickoff after Oregon puts it in the end zone again and make it 35 to 3 Gary brought down again short of the 20 yard line LaMichael James is beginning to fly up among some of the all-time greats in this conference LaMichael now in the ninth place in career rushing leaders anything to take into account receiving all-purpose yards long way to go to get Charles White when you go past Gaston Green Anthony Davis Steven Jackson Rickey Bell pretty impressive former duck Derek Louisville was hoping he can hold on to a couple of those records and a LaMichael owns every duck record yards touchdown cold sack on first down it's Joschka do who gets to him LaMichael James in this game already 189 all-purpose yards two rushing touchdowns first half and there's still 220 to go in this first half I got like Michael and Aaron Thomas you think they're having fun [Applause] detective made explain for Duncan mold to grow on sucking down it pulls david douglas hauls it in nice pass by david douglas to take it into oregon territory near the 40 flit Harris there in coverage and Douglas one senior yet to have a miscue really tonight gets his opportunity Cliff Harris one on one outside that's a nice have you seen him used it body and give Nick Foles just a little bit more room outside the two best friends on the team and finally hook up [Applause] very solid gain on first down really some positive momentum for Arizona both strangled on second John it folds will take them in a glean near a first down [Applause] you have opportunities organs giving you some underneath throws incomplete so you got to take on just an incomplete actually starting to see some of the flash coming back with Cliff Harris as well Nick Aliotti defensive coordinator said this week the cliff had his best week of preparation coming into pac-12 play they're going to need him this season to be that dynamic playmaker on the defensive side of the ball [Applause] [Music] [Applause] Richard North the floor makes the group his strength has been the beat ball you can got one early you let get way away from him but outside of that he's kidding receivers opportunities tonight down the field to make play Alex in dejan the VAP and is [Applause] [Music] hard hit the hand on it [Music] [Applause] nice little combination the man underneath coverage Boyet unable and the two main coverage to cover all the ground across the field not welded receivers in collar quarterbacks and college football and Mike Stoops knows that that's why he was frustrated after he sees hold again take a shot down drive under two minutes so minute for it's going to be Oregon football again Mike gets even after touchdown dat block so just when you have some light that's the flip away this taking it reflected by Arizona Haskell on side at the end of the first act to breathe a little life back in his own reliable Trevon waves going to come up with it off the kick from banana my Gorgon just letting up a little bit Bonanno has been burying those dicks for deep touchbacks it's well executed both to go on first down over the middle complete first down in more for the classic David Douglas to make the ground hurry up now for polls in Arizona a little different balance to the stepped amazing what a play an execution and a touchdown can do for an offense will be ready to staff are going to both put in play organ drops too deep Safety's near the goal line so full thumbs it's short prior makes the grab is wrestled down at the 35 by Anthony guild in the physical corner the clock for 38 seconds oh man Arizona is there anything big you change second half for Arizona you avoid the miscues in the negative plays more execution managing and I think to do what Brandon Weeden did today that's throw it all over the yard and take those shots catch the ball and tackle defensively rolls in the shotgun on second down Rick for long in complaint Eric Dargan laid a lick [Applause] Nik pole with a timeout left 33 seconds just move the chains don't need to touch down back here both touch it on Thursday away from the last duck in dion jordan the junior from just up the road in Chandler Arizona hit the sack on poles [Applause] [Music] I think we know they're not going to attempt a 58 yard field goal Sebastian Janikowski down here in the desert line game beyond Jordan they call the praying mantis six foot seven to forty getting his first sack of the season that one's worth repeating Nick Aliotti I think is the one who hung that one on him be praying mantis converted tied in mound defensive end for the Ducks so one more shot proposed in the cast at the end of the first half over a fourth at 35 out there for the Ducks first two quarters of play riders lined up at the bottom of your screen tries the Beverly here is pressure again on cold cold has nowhere to go takes another sack two and a half once again it's Jordan applying the pressure back-to-back sacks of Nick Foles is how the first half comes to an end there is a flag down on the play after the play personal foul unnecessary rough numbers on the defense number 75 plus 16y [Applause] in Arizona now three straight weeks all against top ten opponent Arizona's been competitive really through large stretches of those games first half tonight hardly competitive again third visible airs mental errors can wait with any critical errors against the very good organ team and really all over the field rock nine points on the scoreboard the block PAP but that really doesn't explain what has gone wrong for Arizona tonight a lot of things still right for Oregon lot of things really wrong very many times those coaches will take notes on the sidelines you'll see them write little notes to themselves so they can remember at halftime Mike Stoops wouldn't have enough paper there were so many errors on so many levels often defense special teams every phase your veterans maybe most critically tonight not stepping up and being a real big part of the dysfunction we've watched in the first 30 minutes now 35 the number entering the second half and Arizona get back in this football game I'm sure they can this is not the NFL you're going to get possessions as fast as Oregon plays and the opportunities you will get you'll get enough possessions if you score every time and that has to be the mindset of Nick Foles and a veteran receiving for alongside of him the margin of error is zero to none you've got to score and score touchdowns on every drive now the good news for Arizona trouble running the football eight yard pickup on to begin second antolín close to remember first down second down it's short and one advantage airs only to have a little bit like Oklahoma State today and we reference that come back earlier there's no huddle team so they don't have to change their whole identity in tempo now they do have to get this third down converters on fourth down earlier but the pace with which they play should benefit them amount to come back this is third in short third and one Arizona only one for nine on third down in the first half [Applause] antolín convert moved the James first down path before any Pleasant find a stop be real curious to have heard that halftime speech from Mike Stoops he had seen it all in a very difficult stretch for his team over the last year and a half I bet he challenged his veteran because those were the culprits in the first half it wasn't your freshman making mistakes it was your veterans and your seniors and your leaders I would bet that he would got right into the faces of those veterans and challenged them step up here in the second half eight years Arizona for Mike suits from the Stoops coaching family to include Bob at Oklahoma and the ball series in Arizona they have a win over a ranked opponent all seven years that he has been at Arizona they've never been through a stretch like this in program history three straight against top 10 opponents Iowa last year with the signature win when Arizona got off to a 7 & 1 start then finished Owen five in the last five at stretch rolling now to seven longer and last eight games only win during that stretch over northern Arizona Espie Espie golde to throw on second down in it is nearly picked parents Mitchell read it all the way that's intended for David Douglas there's throw down the little redshirt freshman corner prepares on the other side Arizona trying to go the double move this is a disciplined Oregon team the way they go about their work their level of focus and detail inside the disparity of that in the first 30 minutes of the ballgame tonight pride themselves on takeaway [Applause] those on 39 hit if he broke though we this Arizona moved the chain with Richard North any rate this trend into Oregon Territory no one that came out and tried to run the ball early you've got to slow down the rush of organ the duck sack nickel hit him harassed him they thanked him four times in the first half you hope that rush and sprees some drawers could just slow down that front for an allowing it to do what he does best and that's chunk it down the field to a lot of in a variety of weapons there's holes looking down field is incomplete as bully at laid what may be a scary hit on Austin Hill [Applause] [Music] [Applause] one more look here Carter you tell me that boy ed is going for the ball and he'll starts to fall down if you have a chance to avoid and hit him in the chest or some targeting the head fifty-fifty tall so complete his David Douglas in ng said Rogers one more point on that that could have gone either way but the emphasis being the player protected easily understand what that could be flagged that's right can that be a little bit of a spark for this Arizona team that desperately needs one you see one of your players carried off the field frustration from your head coach to provide some emotion here for the Wildcat both crying out for an Arizona first down you talked about the emotion of the head coach Mike Stoops says I'm not going to hold back I'm going to be me rare Morrison throws a really nice block for Geron trainer Sunday 82 I'm real anxious drunk riders an NFL prospect he's got a lot of skills big bodied he's in the impact player I'll be real anxious to watch him here in the second half if he responds after a really difficult first half of football for him take catches now for crying but a couple of big drops on 1st and 10 both look that way excited incomplete nearly pick and Boyett taking Cliff Harris out his cornerback and charging over to try and get that pick 510 in 200 pounds is John Boyet and he throws every bit of it around and Nick Foles here when you stare down that wide receiver and you've got a center fielder that's friendly fire boy yet had a big pick 6 versus LSU negated would have been a huge play for the Ducks second down and 10 polls for the air game completing Morrison again this is third down coming up for Arizona [Applause] [Music] opening drive cut down to begin the second there is a lot of time in college football box stopping is often to does it's fast his organ plays second worst in America in time of possession you're going to get opportunities tonight got to be patient take advantage of two safeties they're in the red zone a box count the favors running that time vehicle in the rough game finally delivers for Arizona he's good and a big hear from the Arizona fan polls turns no one there though he doesn't hurt he left that car missed tackle after I tried to go charging down near the 31 this looks like the Arizona team it started seven in one last year before falling apart in 2010 rolling into 2011 it looks like an Arizona team that's simply executing pitching catch knowing what they can do and do well and to Ron Kriner is responded in this second half why I love football get your backs against the wall plate a woeful first 30 minutes well now here's your chance with the other 30 minutes to make some play Angela nothing doing on first down trying to run behind the togi cause you said rock it was going to take at Oklahoma State like second half for Arizona the way the Cowboys came back in Aggieland you got to be patient you're not going to get it all back at once that's why you run and try to slow it down actually do it Stuckey linebacker runs off the field Drake in his arm a little bit two organs down a few people defensively you've got to have peaches that your Knicks fold still the execute play-by-play timeout Arizona and the momentum begins to slow for the cats do you want to guess that maybe David Douglas made a mistake on that play bro it's a personnel situation yes and Mike Stoops can let you know and he's told us in our production meetings and you see the comb figure there David Roberts talking to his seniors Mike Stoops said I don't get on everybody I'm gonna yell at everybody I treat my players differently when it comes to my seniors I will get after them and especially for mental errors and if they repeat the mistakes wasn't Roberts a real pleasure to talk to yesterday hit'em eyes everything about a student-athlete aerospace engineer just a tremendous young kid on inside homes everybody down plenty of opportunity here in the second night he was trying to limit the entropy old incomplete on second down the umpire in coverage that pass is broken up by the umpire [Applause] just unfortunate there's nothing you can do there he's trying to get out of the way Greiner is trying to see the field in front of him to make a play odd way to get the third 10 holes for the air on 13 quickly incomplete intended for Morrison fourth and 10 that's unfortunate on 3rd and 10 that's one the Nicole it's got a hit out of that body language tonight for Mike you have an open receiver you picked up the Blitz that's going to move the chains put you down in the red zone and continue to build the momentum that you have started here by scoring in the first half and getting organ at least a little bit defensively on their heel [Applause] one port down conversion tonight where is onna to drive on for content pages crackers pain relief in Haiti there's david douglas who make a mistake in the formation foraging areas one of the carp i'm out comes back to the football to convert move to change best the friends off the field david douglas these nick foles out of the pocket what you're ton all the time as a receiver the quarterbacks best friend that play breaks down come back to the football critical fourth down conversion carry back in and running back first and ten just outside the twenty marry get diffused [Applause] the play-action there's a foot put inside the pen chocolate world drop to earth and then another expert break down you're going to run and you're going to have the patience to do that you're going to get 0 and 1 then you better pay it off and do lancelin actually that's the young kid look at the green care you referenced it earlier the trusty beam from the coach is that because of his willingness to stick his face mask in there his sacrifice there buys the poles the time put them in crime scoring position bloodless over 100 receiving yards that's a new career hot first and goal area again Gary mint right at the line DeWitt Stuckey Kiko Alonso there on the stop along with Deion court let's turn in just a little them to song second and go back to crackdown David Robert makes the ground is it a cat come back to Chloe tonight and put a little it's wrap space there Kiko Alonso remember he's replacing micro play the best linebacker for Oregon Arizona found a little offensive little mitts a little balance will play action pass all of a sudden this becomes an 11-point game with consecutive touchdown drives if they can get this two-point conversion conversion is cool and Arizona was right back in this game thirty five to three a minute five to go in the first half [Music] for possession the Anthony Todd is trying to break away for Oregon he has his essays on in the open field by Previn Wade making plays on defense and special teams for this game it was a 32-point game largest comeback 27 for Arizona and what a comeback it would be program wise for the Wildcats and sometimes scores don't tell the whole story just like statistics out of 35 3 did it was a one-sided a first 45 minutes of football we have seen in a long time come back to close out the day for Arizona Pat trying to do a cowboy impersonation - and a makes the grab and Oregon respond knocks only one possession in the second half so far that was a three and out so that is the first first down of the second half for Oregon and the takeaway would go a long ways for Arizona one of the worst in college football just two interceptions through three games yet to force a fumble can you imagine a piccolo in the throwing up here not game finding a team well Michael can't do everything right to get in position Robert golden comes down he's the contain man from the secondary in just victimized that's a one-yard gain you know Michael James isn't a special player he is duck snap at first in pin give it to Kenyan Barner on first down rushing it out again Varner takes it inside the 25 sayo Oregon has patience and doesn't panic [Applause] quick nap on second is for my Arizona with too many men on the field midway through the third quarter Arizona their second into that Arizona Stadium ass trying to come back against Oregon second down and three but Michaels game has another Oregon first down spinning out of bounds near the 15 two possession game 14 points at that point with as well as you move the ball offensively that has to be your mindset give it right back to the Mitra's James on the same play threats out James bouncing taking some hits may have lost the yard second down in ten coming one of the rare occasions we've seen this evening what we talked about in the open dentine that lateral movement look at Arizona look at them actually reestablish the line of scrimmage and stopping LaMichael James began are still brilliant he's dancing everywhere but instead of that full speed of momentum actually make you've stopped and exactly what LSU in Auburn consistently again sorghum called second and eleventh mom is going to the end zone incomplete Anthony Thomas got a hand on it Bouldin there in confidence their new kicker Maldonado yet to attempt the field goal in his police career Rob beard organ stellar kicker didn't make the print battling a leg with the premium more than likely with all will be thrown underneath the first down on gonna tackle Thomas hands off the Barna picked up stays on his feet Carter with a diving near the berth down whipping away from at least two tacklers the line judge spots at just shorts he got fourth down and maybe a yard coming and no hesitation whatsoever from Chip Kelly with as well as they've executed in the run game tonight a really nice call Sawa nearly trips them up and forces the field goal kick you can get the Barner rule I don't know about that boredom one organ nearing 300 rushing yards on the night the offense on the field Thomas will keep it himself Thomas as the first town's only a touchdown yes adores Garrett why was stretching for a touchdown run on fourth down what an answer from Darren Thomas in Oregon patience just relentless that they have more plays in their playbook they can continue to go Thomas just follows Barner into the endzone [Applause] Maldonado's PAP and hit all night long by the organdy from 49 in the past attempt in fact come in all shapes besides is that feeling missing on the linebacker Nick Foles with an unwanted fenders got to get the ball out and then just immediate the quarterback on the fourth down put an exclamation point on Oregon's effort tonight just plain faster so many times in so many places in the Wildcat the four-man rush versus your five offensive line [Applause] five - 46 yards give it right back to Oregon in LaMichael James the duck all-time leading rusher goes over 200 rushing yards tonight a 48 yard game by LaMichael James in Oregon and they will not let up they absolutely will not let off the gas one of the real advantages to the up-tempo system with which they play to 38 rushing yards in a game for the Michael game nearing 300 all-purpose yards in the game [Music] in fact given 303 now all-purpose yards for the junior from tech dark an attacker Michael gets it again on first down breaking a tackle LaMichael James stays inbounds inside the pen there's what LaMichael told me about earlier running more physical taking on the contact getting through it look at the stretch play he finally is able to get a good edge Paul Vassallo has just been a step late many times tonight and I finished third in the Heisman a year ago I can still put up some prolific numbers well on his way to inching up the pac-10 record books won this best efforts in his career tonight it's a career-high 250 rushing yards in this game for the Michael James first and goal Barner in a tailback now forward and no gain there well Michael told me yeah I've always been fast but it was summer before tenth grade started training by dragging tires up the hill in the middle of the summer infects our can of Texas the detects our can of Texas in the middle of the summer you know what a task going uphill without tires is Michael said we came back to that 10th grade year so sophomore year of high school he had the extra birds that he has helped with Gary Campbell the running back coach for renown his 29th year honor inside the 5 so you asked me earlier about that number 10 next to work and I'll tell you they responded with versa and that's what rivers with teams to this game got closed this game and the momentum had turned in Arizona's favor at home come out to touchdown drives what did you see it what does the Oregon and Chip Kelly did respond Darron Thomas Michael James my best players and momentum was that that's my next big player waiting to happen and that's what they hit done on their last two possessions [Applause] corner cut our second of the second half for Oregon [Applause] Jin Yan Barnard touched down and made a 49:24 Oregon lead on Arizona here kitty Terry on the return spinning to the 24 LaMichael James at career-high deny 250 rushing yards over 300 all-purpose yards 204 rushing yards a week ago against Missouri State not really been included many heintzman conversations after finishing third a year ago and hit back on national thief night with a career night and just watch his feet our spotter lanes even pointing out it's a Reggie Bush light performance when he had 513 all-purpose yards against Fresno State in the game 2005 similar to the efforts of the mica game to put up the night hold and the pads for kitchen intestines David Douglas rolled to the 40 Michael James night 260 rushing yards second highest in duck history only Onterrio Smith had more room in that kind of night for Nick Foles hook it around aimlessly trying to find the mouthpiece I wonder how much more we're going to see of Nick tonight who have taken an absolute beating through three and a half quarters [Applause] bold play action going on first down to Gino crumb saw that salt line moment there with Gary Campbell the veteran running back coach with arrogant Michael James one reason Michael James is still an Oregon Duck is Gary Campbell LaMichael was packing his bags ready to head out of Oregon back to Texas in his freshman year and a contingency led by Michael I chef Kelly was an offensive coordinator with Eric Campbell well Michael and coach Pilate or coach Kelly all say Gary Campbell is the man who convinced LaMichael to stick it out in Eugene and it is turned into one of the most productive offensive players anywhere in college football down the 40 beyond that you've got a youngster by the name of Trey Carson who's a true freshman from Texarkana Texas who broke LaMichael James record there in high school Michael paving the way for even more stars pipeline from Texarkana in Carson special different 225 pounds you may see him even even his fourth quarter bold flings it complete with david roberts dr. LaMichael earlier and asked him how do you block out everything with the willie Lyles investigation LaMichael very close with willie Lyles who's a part of the NCAA investigation into Oregon they received that official letter of inquiry last Saturday LaMichael says how do I block it out practice I go to practice that's that's what we do Chip Kelly is very focused you hear it from a lot of coaches but he is a very much a believer nothing else matters that today attracted that goal win the day philosophy when you ask the Michael James about everything that's going on he says practice work at it live in the moment and all that distraction can exist off the field you go on to the practice field day in and day out with the routine and that's what I really respect about what ship is built that organ habits that are developed through to Sisyphean routine he preaches it like you said and then also delivery poles and Arizona driving you know front makes the ground on first and goal and stretching to the five leras ona has done exactly what the cats needed to do move the bowl and move the ball quickly now it's get it in the end zone if you have any shot the 7:30 to go onside kicks an onside kicks and it's desperation time the Nick pole is probably going to end up with over 400 yards passing continues to battle and take care of the football and for Arizona this brutal stretch is nearly done a four-game stretch is difficult as anyone's faced in college football this year in any year will come to the close next week in the collar food Angelyn stood up how difficult is stretches it you say boy you're done playing the top ten teams now go to the Coliseum and play USC I mean this is first time in Arizona program history they've played three straight top ten teams at Oklahoma State Stanford Oregon that it's at USC and then another road trip after that to Corvallis lay the Box you still have memory and I'll tell you it's been very easy after the first half that we wouldn't it to roll over in quicksand and they didn't they came out and score touchdown two-point conversion to score a touchdown and organ was just too good Michael James too special this evening breaking tackles making plays but to put at least a little silver lining you still have number eight deal and you're going to have him the rest of the season to come out and execute at a much higher level in the second half at least gives you some hope as you push into an easier second-half schedule Isaac [Applause] [Music] [Applause] number three of the night when it cold David Robert back same play we saw earlier three by one he's just been a hook-up holes is going to anticipate where his senior buddy is and his anticipation beats the cover party one block this one is good right through the uprights calls to celebrate affect the on side here Brock absolutely try the other way but nah no fun to get high that time the Ducks would cover so Arizona 1 for 2 on the onside kicks they packed well backtick compact 18 pack 12 a Michael James and the Oregon Ducks are in the pac-12 North Arizona is in the pac-12 South and the important the paren she ation there is there's going to be a pac-12 championship game at the end of the year and Stanford in Oregon the two frontrunners in this conference are both in the pac-12 North Division and loaded with the top end talent that is what you see I think in a differentiator between the two Stanford adds the best quarterback in college football Michael James is making his case tonigh with a career evening that continues to add on it climbs up the charts and what is now I guess the pac-12 record books inching his way up there with an incredibly productive night that's Previn Wade the Arizona owner back about the difference between preparing for Stanford's apparent for Oregon name goes rolling for another first down he said Stanford power Oregon speed both effective all senses gold out is a very different way and 21 and epitomizes that and how about the heady play they're staying down here they keep that clock churning but in the final five minutes visible Thomas and LaMichael James can stay healthy 277 the rest hoping for games organ record 285 so Chip Kelly may be trying to get Michael to another record rd time rusher in American history Derek old lays a big lick on the Michael on first down fully earlier if I was the coach making that fourth down call I go for and I think if I'm the coach here with a healthy barner the weapons in the Anthony Thomas I've seen enough from the Michael James I know it's not about records I guarantee you that that is not in his thought process whatsoever for Chip Kelly but I don't think I risk 21 with any more undue contact this evening they see the play clock 25 for organ clock obviously King stood up he taken to him bathing this game there down coming up or LaMichael and the Ducks yeah but you see what he does there is contact you see his feet just continue to drive like this and they just never let up and that's where there is a risk of injury you get tied up you're in a pile instead as you said he ran uphill down there and the humidity of Texas those legs keep churning all the way through and you don't need to Google Maps to figure out where it techs are canta is it's where Texas and Arkansas join tents that's our candy thank you for the geography lesson phone [Applause] stay put again third and five stretching for a first down for Oregon and LaMichael James with that rush 288 rushing yards in a game the Oregon single game record is the Michael James is going to come out of the ballgame and young barner in there for first and zento organs all-time leading rusher now has the single game Oregon record with 288 and the duct bands who made the trip to Tucson applauding a tremendous effort the junior LaMichael James Morgan coming into the game with 260 western yards per contest 8th in America about 400 yards right now rushing total for the duck [Applause] Aaron Thomas rolling on first down Thomas that the dangerous play near the goal line is Thomas rather than going out of bounds puts the shoulder pads down and guess who's coming back into the game here for first and goal LaMichael James the night is not done for 21 he continued to move up that incredible in started tonight 13th on that list and it's climb some 50 impressive names on the way to number six most surreal to see Horgan allow the play clock yeah sit down yeah you should go yeah take a picture of that [Applause] Tomic keeper where Thomas will walk in and going put six more on the board the duck is loading now continue to see those Arizona defenders to a LaMacchia the D tackle 91 its what that zone blocking can do sets up that zone read so well the play-action Thomas athletic enough hug there with Chip Kelly all they do is execute you're better than that duck last year they were full push-ups yeah but he get tired last year by scoring 6000 boring that's not his best effort its Thomas's best effort in the Ducks best night but over 400 rushing yards and I've actually more from the best you expect more from the dog honestly don't you think it's the heat down here 95 degree Alex at the factor the fact there no doubt 56 on the board for organ the most that Arizona has allowed LS used for 59 here and 2003 this was a ball game for a fit in the third quarter but it's all origin now [Music] [Applause] it's okie they're running back with Kari for Arizona he fumbles the football out of bounds Arizona cute there's a lot of people not liking the Oregon Ducks in the pac-12 either because all they've done is won and been consistent and at times ruthless if you're going to continue to try to run and to score well Darron Thomas LaMichael James I'm going to continue am i in to execute and score and if Chip Kelly says and preaches to live in the moment and Chip Kelly now 18 and 1 in conference play as a head coach that's unbelievable 13 straight wins now for Oregon in conference play to think that five years ago Chip Kelly was the offensive coordinator at the University of New Hampshire now he's coached in the Rose Bowl a BCS Championship game 13 straight conference wins back-to-back pac-10 coach of the Year honors and you think about the coaching stops for Chip Kelly the native of Manchester New Hampshire Columbia Johns Hopkins and New Hampshire Mike Bilotti hired him to be offensive coordinator at Oregon Mike Bilotti hired him to be head coach the University of Oregon when Bilotti came an athletic director and now on his team's esteemed colleague about many people can put a list together of the attributes and traits to be a phenomenal head coach and obviously his innovation and his X's and O's is top-notch what he does in the position he puts his talent in the one thing that I really respected we showed the shot earlier Tony Dungy in the stand washing his son back up receiver here for Oregon is consistent through the ups and the downs good times the bad times the adversity there was nobody better than Tony Dungy - whether those storms in Chip Kelly with the monstre that he leads this program the consistency the habits there is so much that reminds me of Tony now chips a little more emotional more adamant on the sidelines and things aren't going his way and he doesn't like particular calls or as we saw earlier this evening when the linesman's aren't and the referees aren't setting the ball as quickly but as far as the level of detail and the preparation and work ethic in the consistency very very similar and it's sure carry this program is some tremendous Heights now we were hoping for another duel in the desert between Oregon and Arizona but too much LaMichael James 288 rushing yards in the game two touchdowns for the Michael James over 300 yards all-purpose running for LaMichael and the doc then they will leave Tucson with a 56:31 win for Brock here at our entire crew on Carter Blackburn it's been a presentation of ESPN the worldwide leader in sports [Music]
