Damn I canβt believe itβs already been 10 years
I've said it many times. This was the last game that non-fans had our backs in.
After this one, we had the target firmly on our backs.
I was at this game in the upper deck - the crowd didn't realize Tebow was crying until they put it on the jumbo screen. It got a louder cheer than anything else that day.
That was the beginning,We are still not at the end,FO Finebaum!
And Tebow cried.... a lot......
It was my daughter's 4th birthday. We were having a party for her at my in laws with a bunch of other 4 year olds and Im having to sit through this damn party and all I can think about is THIS GAME. My stomach was in knots all day. Most nervous I have ever been before a game. That 4 year old is 14 today. Man that was a quick 10 years
My all time favorite Bama game!
I'll never forget seeing Colin Peek break open and making an over the shoulder catch for the back breaking touchdown.
At this point I was living 30 minutes outside of Gainesville. And they were really confident going into this game. There fans were talking so much to me all week and sending me text before the game. Let's just say it was a quiet week.
I was a freshman in highschool. First time I had ever gotten to witness us have this kind of success (not counting the countless times I had watched recordings of old games of course lol)
