2 Hour Accent Wall That You Can Do By Yourself

all right guys welcome back to our Channel we are here with our friend Lindsay you guys might remember her from when we did her entryway project here so what are we doing today Kelsey today we are going to be doing a little paint accent wall in Lindsay's lovely living room she got the color picked out the decor and we are just going to execute it for it's going to be super cute and super beginner [Music] friendly [Music] all right so this is where the stripe is going we're going to put a peer Green Stripe only like 3/4 of the way put some framing there and it's going to be a little color blocked accent wall that's going to be the same color as her kitchen island that is also the same color as our kitchen cabinets at our house fun fact we are used to this color they influenced me we influenced Lindsay okay I'll just I'll just do the heavy I'll just stand here we got it you you just sit there you just sit there with the blanket you guys looked like you had it I didn't want to mess anything up you didn't want to mess the flow up yeah all righty now we're going to put it right on the line [Music] oh Lord all right you can just tack it a little bit and I'll do everything else yeah so if I'm trying to get really crisp lines when I'm painting a tip that I like to do I shared this before um but I always on top of the tape I like to run some caul there and then just kind of like rub it in and that and then paint on top of that and then it'll give you a really crisp and clean line on your painting project you're doing great thank you you're doing great sweetie yeah keep it up you're doing good over there C we're the peanut gallery supervising yeah best you know what we called back at Disney what stupid vising oh that's not very magical of you [Applause] uh so we are tired of watching paint dry so we have no other options cuz Kelsey forgot the Rover fan so we're going to use some blow dryers to get this paint dry do you do I hold this button yes get to hold the button this one has a cool setting that's right okay nice now we're drying stop wow look at that line oh oh there it goes I'd take them down some it's more towards the middle yeah right there that that'd be good okay right there right there how I would you want this but then if you have like yeah that works like that mhm mhm so offset a little bit the same thing the same okay do you want the same spacing okay yeah yeah what do you think Kelsey yeah good offset and then yeah offset this Ed maybe like a little bit up and have the spacing the same between the frame and then yeah oh got it maybe right I mean that seems about right this is how I high measure just in case you want to use that strategy someday oh I do that all the time like buying furniture lower lower lower okay go yeah there you go go a little lower that's totally yeah when you buy furniture you're like okay here and there yep it'll [Music] fit all right guys we are all done as you can see the wall turned out so good so do you like it ly love it love it what I wanted I love it it was just paint and some frames and stuff on the wall and it made this room look totally different um so let us know what you guys think down in the comments leave us a like um obious ly subscribe to us and we'll see you guys next time see you guys bye
