2 Bottle Dumps and some Exceptional finds! 😳

[Music] what's up guys crick diggers coming to you thursday morning me and corey wellins is out here at a place that we used to call what we just call this place the glass fortress or something i can't even remember a couple years ago it's been a couple years since we were here but i'm gonna take you around and show you some really awesome stuff that's come out of the ground at this place now this was back when we were i'd call us amateurs we didn't know what we were doing really we knew how to dig still but i didn't know how to record videos properly i guess i'll say i was holding the camera the wrong way and uh really appreciate everybody for helping me figure that out there's a huge clay cat but while cory's opening that up take you around look at all the pieces of crocs we're just gonna do a little walk around this place real quick pieces of crocs everywhere pieces of beautiful blue salt glazed crops this would be a gleaners paradise but i'm not going to disclose the location this is kind of a little sweet spot that we've kept under our hats for a while you can see bottles laying everywhere it's a beautiful piece of some kind of a master ink or something like that i'm just going to keep walking i just want to show you guys the amount of materials in here monster trucks big big pieces of crocs lots of bottles whiskey bottles bitters bottles of course ketchup bottles you can see bricks everywhere it basically looks like they just threw the town just threw right down over the hill here you can see a big mound here that none of this has been dug yet walk up the hill a little ways there's a couple beautiful broken uh blue stenciled crocs over in this way there's a hole that we had going a long long time ago pieces of crocs laying around everywhere everywhere i'm standing up kind of mid ways of the dump now this stump goes back to about 1870s 1880s and most everything in here is blown in mold you can see the whole hillside is pretty much covered in glass it is very tough digging it's real rudy real rocky real bricky definitely takes some serious effort to get through these caps that they've put in here but well worth it when you can see any of these crocs come out full you're talking big bucks but just broken crocs everywhere there's cory right there looks like he's looks like we're going to be starting starting a new hole and we're going to see what we can get into guys stay tuned for the action all right guys we're back a little update you can see that massive massive clay cap it's about three feet this is the biggest clay cat we've encountered i mean it was gonna be a mother so we got back into one of our old holes right into the side of it and we're just going to continue going right down the side of the bank you can see you can see down in there that ash layer now from the top we're just getting to the dump you can see we're about eight eight feet here's what's on top we're about eight feet down that's what's on top yeah that's right on the very top just because it dumps water on top don't mean it isn't old underneath right and there might be a three and a half foot clay cabinet very very difficult to probe this dump tree the only reason we dug this deep is because what was at the bottom all those crocks and and broken uh old old salt glaze stuff iron stone everywhere so that let us know that the dump is older now we ain't been here in a couple years so it was weird this morning corey messaged me and uh at first we were talking about river digging going going to dig river dump and uh i messaged him at the same time he messaged me about coming out here so it was pretty ironic and then after that happened we definitely had to do it yeah corey has been bugging me to come out here but this is a mother to dig us a mother i'm telling you so we're in it we're in it we're going to start getting down into the good stuff i'm going to stay live right here because i know this dump has produced some killers very rare locals here that we pulled out and i don't remember salt glazed crocks real quick yeah a couple joggers going by talking on their speaker phones real loud all right nothing interesting yet guys but i'm sure that it's going to happen real soon see you back when it does guys first bottle out of the hole is a real nice fell out of the wall early early bigsby's music lodge dang it is nice yeah it's faint bigsby on the base nice they're always fun to dig they're crude hey yeah first part of all the holes nice one we're down about 10 feet now guys we're just now getting to the bottle layer you can see where the uh bank collapsed a long time ago there's a plastic bag down there yeah we dug we dug there many many years ago so we're like right on the edge of where we stopped so over here to the right we haven't even touched and that's the way we're going to go today we're going to see what we can get into but that's nice 80s 90s museum lodge right out the first one see you guys back we're gonna keep opening up a little bit all right so uh we've been digging in this pocket we got some there's some pretty early stuff coming out this cobalt would have been real nice looks 70s um a soda beer balloon and mold beer over here trap says he's got a druggist i gotta drug this guys i flipped it over and it is embossed it is a ln meadows company frostburg maryland yeah check that one out guys that's a real hard to find bottle there filling meadows i think i have heard of that though dug a couple of them have we dug a couple only a couple yeah we're the only ones that dig them so real nice druggest local druggist to us from frostburg maryland guys l in meadows first real good bottle out of the hole it's really tough digging today but we're going to keep working at it just moving this way and we're probably going to take some overhang down but we're going to keep working and see what else we can pop out all right guys we are finally made it to the bottom you can see it is deep it's about 12 feet we're about 12 feet to the bottom cory thinks he's got a small little pocket but it's pretty dark down there glass everywhere actually [Music] just a root beer extract an old one yeah i don't know if i can pull that anymore i don't think it's ready but it's a soda [Music] nope it was a blob yeah it was slick slug plated blob right there guys broken but that's the status layer we're in 80s and 90s now there's something yeah it's mixed and when they push it down over the hill all right we'll see you back here as soon as something else cool comes out corey just pulled another bottle out guys a uh nice blown in mold cumberland brewing ladies leg beer 1905 to 1910 on that one you say still got bottles coming out so i'm gonna stay right here what is it glass everywhere no i wish we'd have thought to bring the big light it's been a while since we've been this far down we got spoiled on them shallow pits we're just gonna keep on working guys we'll see you back all right cory's getting ready to pop another one out of the hole what is that slick it's pretty ice blue pretty nice blue slicko this one's machine made 1910 1915. bottles are starting to come out though guys see back guys we started working back the other way taking the uh step down where we initially was working on this dang that was a monster croc and cory's got a bottle right here in the sidewall you can see sticking out popping bricks and stuff out here doctor dr sbh chemical bottle yeah clear bone and mold turn the century right there yep some bottles coming out it seems like a better concentration working back down the hill a little ways just right off the bottom we are there's about a foot and a half layer of bricks and glass and ash burn stuff it's really nice it's hard to dig you can see you got to really really pick out it you know get a lot of metal burn barrels in there well worth it though i'll see you back soon something else uncovers itself german yeah the famous german is coming back to see you again a little bit for you guys so you can actually see a little bit what's going on now might be a little shelf right there too nice to find a lot of glass yeah glass bricks pottery lots and lots of top pieces coming out right now we'd love to see four going back to the hamburger that's pretty much what we do guys we dig a little bit clear it clear out our spot that we dug and then take the hand digger and just go in feel them for the glass that old clothing looks it looks good up above you still seeing no cracks or nothing some big roots running through there holding everything together yeah should be fine piece of a beer lots of pieces of beers coming out right now a few sodas just that one embossed mud so far as a piece of strap strap side whiskey's coming out oh that's sounding good down there [Music] launching bunches of broken stuff guys way down in here nothing nice and sealed [Music] oh sounds like something going on in there all broken nice broken stuff down there today guys hopefully some nice full stuff we got a little bit more room to work we've taken the walls down a good bit we'll keep on working at it see that you're just honest guys cory's working on a couple bottles down here he just popped out a uh blown and mold independent brewing in pittsburgh and then a little amber one popped out and he was freaking out i've never done oh nice poison yeah real nice poison for cory sharpened down from baltimore three-sided check it out blown them all 1890s 1905. real nice cory how could you find that brother i like it working on a couple of them down here [Music] there's a crowd with john krause [Music] that one is that a warner frederick warner nice soda ball a local soda bottle for cory frostburg maryland blowing in mold real nice condition on that one he just got into on that last run got a soda beer and a poison real nice i love it hopefully i can get me one and cobalt but all right guys we're gonna get get a little clean out and this will be my turn we'll see what i can pull out see back guys i was just digging you can see the rubble pile here i was working up on this upper layer just under the clay cap check out this beautiful flask i just popped out guys this is a bucket list for me i've always wanted to dig one of these beautiful little uh i think these are called pumpkin seed flask this one is embossed merry christmas and happy new year it's got wreaths going around it it is blowing and mold it does have a crack there so it'll be going in my personal collection but i love it i absolutely love that bottle check that out i'm gonna let corey jump back in the hole and see what he can pull out see you back guys we got about maybe five minutes left and uh look corey just popped out the sidewall here a little ring neck racer uh snake local to us non-poisonous real pretty guy yeah okay he must come back down in the very hole we're finishing up here guys go ahead and show you the wrap up today [Music] got a real nice sharpened dome poison from baltimore three-sided blown in mold really nice cool in there got a blown in mold hires improved root beer a nice older one got a frederick warner soda local soda got an independent brewing of pittsburgh beer got a bratic pure some cumberland little whiskey glass her little shot glass not quite full but close really nice little perfume bottle a couple beers black cat stove polish this is probably the oldest shard that came out today look at that real old 1850s 1860s definitely late throw but would have been absolutely superb you can see our shard pile and mini mini brick file and then this one here ln meadows company from frostburg nice frostburg local druggist that's gonna do it guys oh yeah in that flash christmas flask up here forgot about it probably my favorite one of the day right there real cool says merry christmas and happy new year yeah that's gonna do it for today guys i gotta get home get trapped in football to a double diamond ridge today to do some digging we're going to jump in one of the holes that me and corey had previously left open with permission from the landowner and we're going to open this up make it wider see what we can get into guys you can see rich is just raking the basically the overgrowth away we're gonna bring it out to about where my bag is make this hole real big i think it's from what i remember about eight feet deep to the bottom here so we're just gonna dig and see what we can get into guys stay tuned for the action [Music] here we go don't say nothing on it nope no face cream rich has got a uh amber in the hole right here guys you can see i gotta block the sun out for you about ready to come yeah smaller oh sweet of heroin bear heroin bottle check that out first outstanding a bunch of smalls today got a lysol a couple opium tubes and blood vials the heroin beggar that's probably the best one a real light honey amber colored uh cumberland brewing and a richard hud nut a couple stoppers that's about it guys nothing too uh exciting but still is a good time getting out here yep you have fun brother man good i had a lot of fun that's good bro it's always fun for a couple hours with rich we dug a hole up here a little ways big hole pulled 100 bottles out but a bunch of slicks we didn't end up taking home but maybe a handful me and corey's gonna go further back in there i'm waiting on him to get back from the vehicle right now you can see a couple of pieces like some of the shards that come out of this right now i'll show you while we're waiting on him real pretty transfer aware civil war air pieces of iron stone whiskeys beers sodas we'll walk up here to one one of the discard piles wine bottles pretty cool sauces like milk they let you through oh cool man i was just showing some shards real quick all right guys corey just got here we're going to take the tools that i just went down to the flea market and picked up because we left uh our other tools add another dump yeah we usually have a little couple stash spots so we put tools but check out the handles on these things guys dude made them handmade riveted and stuff they're about six and a half seven foot long hopefully they do the trick short one and then a little rake of course i got the hand tools and stuff in the bag but we're gonna get going we're gonna walk back in through there we'll see you back when we get to our destination guys stay tuned all right guys we made it to our destination we walked way down from down in there now we're over in here this is the last place we dug i pulled the bush mills out of there i pulled a master ink yeah we haven't been back this far in quite some time couple months chris was digging right here beside us but pretty much this we feel like this area through here how it's kind of flattened off and then it starts dropping as it goes over there we think this is all undug so you see where corey's opening the hole up we're just going to kind of punch into the side of the mountain right here and go right in and see what we can come out with so we're gonna get started we got about four hours of digging we're just gonna blast on it on and off taking turns kind of a warmer humid day we'll see we can get into all right guys see when something cool happens all right so we finally got this hole down i don't know how far do you think we are down about five and a half feet yeah trav just popped out a pipe bowl while we were cleaning the hole out here and it just wicked real nice pipe bowl guys check it out cory showed up close it's like focus on it an eagle claw or something holding i don't know what it's supposed to be it's definitely a claw of some sort yeah it's cool around it one of the neatest pipe bowls i've doug and i've dug some neat ones but we just got in yeah we're getting down to a thick thick layer yeah nice rust layer hard layer undug for sure but we're gonna go ahead and punch down in here and see what's in it all right guys we're gonna do some live digging we're down to the second layer of rust corey's got a couple bottles here comes some kind of handle or not sure there's a nice layer down here though it's full of glass guys you already pull that one out it's way down in there like sticking straight up and down we're down now about six and a half seven feet and it's still crawling still going down mosquitoes and flies are pretty nasty today look like hires or something yeah digging basically me and corey are just taking turns we dig for half hour 45 minutes and then switch off take a break hydrate drink some water listen to all that glass down in there yeah and dig it i got i got a hand digger if you want one what's that slick it's like you got anything else ready all right guys something cool happens here that's corey just raked out a uh reinhardt bottling work soda here it is real nice and patinaed up look at that wow it's a cool soda it'll keep on working see if anything else pops out all right so trav pulling pieces of fence and pieces of copper wire out of the hole and he's like wow look what just popped out this piece of wire look i'll pull this clawed off of it guys there it is a milk just popped out of the hole right i was pulling this piece of fence out this old piece of fence outcome of milk what is it oh my gosh i don't know idea akron it says the acron pure milk cream pasteurized cream one point what in the world oh it's nasty in it i don't know the acheron pure milk company one pint pasteurized milk and cream does not say where it's from but something i've never seen it's ribbed all the way around it absolutely incredible milk man yeah it is i think it's probably something local guys i i can't make out a mark on the base of it but it's old looks like it had tobacco spit or something in it might be from akron could be i'm not sure there are a lot of ohio bottles around here so yet again trav's got another he thinks is a really nice bottle local to us if this is a gayola guys i'll put it in the auction on saturday oh man i wouldn't say all that i think it is i think it is it definitely is i can tell aqua that's the ember it's an amber one it is a gaiola oh my it looks like it is in mint condition other than being extremely dirty [Music] cumberland maryland that's a nice bottle how about that guys now a lot of the videos you guys watch of other bottle diggers for some reason they have this rule that when they dig together in a big dump like this they get all their fines together and take pics me and corey don't do that you put in the labor to find something like this you keep it so you come out here digging with us and you dig something like this you keep it see back come let cory in the hole guys corey's down here right underneath where that gaol just came from he's got a croc in the hole check it out oh man right in that rust layer too that thing looks so sweet here it comes yeah yeah it's cool nice man thank you cut it out guys nice little fruit jug for cory sweet man yeah oh he's digging him crosstalk yes you are that's a nice one too rock man mr croc man look at that guys nice croc for corey wellins you can see we're about nine feet down now just working our way down in there we got to bulk it out we're taking turns emptying the bucket so i'm gonna put this crock up here with the other plants check it out looking good so for rock and milk two sodas and a nice pipe bowl so far on double diamond ridge heck yeah see back corey still down in the hole guys he just pulled this out and he thought because he thought it was broken check it out it's a nice stafford master inc and clear 16 ouncer sweet he's into a nice little pocket down here but i'm going to get the buckets emptied out so i don't know what it was i thought it was one of the damn batteries guys corey thought he had a battery core in the hole because there's a lot of them in this dump go ahead pick it up monster capers look at that big old capers bottle emerald green that's awesome man heck yeah pulled it right up from the depth that's a nice one too brother get that out that's on you nice blowing and molding sweet what's that you can see now we're about 10 10 feet 10 and a half feet this is probably the deepest that we've ever been in this in double diamond ridge and it's paying off the nice large emerald green capers all right guys i think i'm gonna get in the hole and see if i can't pull something else see you back uh a lot of embossed stuff coming out all right guys we are about 11 12 feet down cory just popped a little bottle out we're right off the bottom we found the bottom now right at 12 feet he thought it was a bromo seltzer but no it's a uh bromo caffeine yeah harder to find one check that out romo caffeine and he's got a gin coming out there's a gordon gardens yeah gordon gorgeous drive yeah real nice bromo caffeine sweet well keep working down look at it way up above court way up there look at that guys [Music] double diamond ridge 12 feet down who would have thought we didn't know we had any spots in here this deep and there's a lot of glass down there on the bottom see back saying something else cool comes out just wanted to show you guys that really really neat fine there romo caffeine guys are on the bottom we're expanding out a couple bottles popping out cory got a uh used dill's flavoring extracts you got a lydia pink comes vegetable compound and he says [Music] just popped out a real nice druggist bottle what's it say miss potter waters hygienic supply company cincinnati ohio dang check that out guys mrs potter's hygienic supply company cincinnati ohio number one it says nice blown in mold 1905 and 1910 their 1890s and 1905 i mean yeah that's cool corey and then a little tiny uh brahmos seltzer all right or something do you yeah all right we'll stay live for a minute okay i'm watching it's just leaves and stuff falling out of trees making dirt come down and touches them this tree up above us and just like raining leaves pretty it's real pretty real pretty you can see how far down yet hmm oh it was a virginia brewing west virginia brewing company all right way down here you're staying ready for it whiskey all right so tribe get out of the hole i got in dug around for a while i was digging up high traffic mad at me because i filled the hole in a little bit and jumped out of it because it started falling but before it started falling i went back down low got down on the bottom to the left of where we were digging and got into a pocket it looked like it might have come out of a granite bull but this come out a bigger bromo than we normally dig another bromo caffeine and [Music] this i can't remember what the name one is something i don't know from pittsburgh pa up here or so it's got a picture of a blob one in a triangle and then a uh boker's pyrox poison drawer pretty cool not a bad little pocket i get into there but after i pulled them out i jumped out of the hole trav got back in and he said he thinks he's got a soda he's got this little bottle is that it for now yeah all right we'll get back here he's got something yeah just pop that awesome brookfield insulator it actually says west brookfield new york and then it says patented november 13 1883 and february 12 1884. check that out yeah that thing's nice [Music] he just pulled out this broken croc from what'd you say brighton pennsylvania yeah and the family extract broken lashes better even more broken lashes bitters he says he's got a heck of a pocket going down here i'm trying to fend off flies i was trying to find my digging tools they weren't biting us at first but now they got a little taste and now they want to bite everything's broken is coming out since real bright beer hey come ground up i don't see nothing without getting i think you're good i don't see any cracks or anything you got some showing we'll get back to you as soon as it gets a little pause all right so i jumped down in the hole with trav he says he's got a big whiskey cylinder yeah and then i got a soda bottle right there showing let me pull this out i think it's fun yeah look it is a slick but it's blowing them all i like it it's a nice amber big old whiskey and then i'm gonna get this soda right here oh inner soda it's one of them new bros yeah new bros herbicide for the scalp nice big old lip chip on it all right well trev's getting back in here and gets another layer bottles turn you back on all right we got about five minutes until tribes you gotta leave to take a little tribe to football practice but trav says he ain't done yet he's got well you got a couple things down there showing big chemical thomas there's a nice little cone no embossing on it slick taking that home yeah there's all kinds of stuff going on here salt shaker got a little tiny i know i have a couple of jars that's pretty fit [Music] so all right guys that's going to do it got to get out of here go get trav and get him to football practice you can see corey frantically going at it trying to find one last bottle way down today we dug about a 12-foot hole today in about four hours put in he-man mode and just kicked it we're going to come back out here maybe tomorrow open it back up what's wrong with you i might have something pull it up all right well why cory's working on that i gotta get packed up give you a run down real quick seeing that pretty cool insulator come out before we get the nice croc we got a some kind of a croc lid just got a cool design going around it pretty neat amber strap side med and then we got a couple of different meds we got lydia pink and vegetable compound a little tiny teardrop colgate cursive lysol a couple of dills family extracts heroin bayer aspirin some kind of pretty cool rib olive oil two bromo caffeines that cool mrs potter's hygienic company promo seltzer pretty neat pittsburgh beer poison jar capers bottle reinhardt bottling works melanphi bottling works master ink bromo caffeine gayola and acron milk and another little thing and then that four hours of digging i mean corey did really well we'll get everything it it is a nice uh aqua threaded real heavy never dug one of those before tell me about it guys guys i'm gonna do another video of this uh amber gayola that dog it's really really dark black glass can't really see through it with the light very good so i'll just show it it's got tremendous panini patina on it reinhardt bottling works on one side of it you can see it's got the lines all the way across it that's how i knew what it was in the hole and then the back side of it says gaiola the improved cola really cool from cumberland maryland really really extremely hard to find soda right there guys see you
