There's a guy at my home mountain who likes to "flurry". I always wondered "WTF is he doing???". Now I know...

Watch the movie "hot dog" it's got moguls, ski ballet, freestyle aerials, a Chinese downhill, and lots of boobs.

Competition held in Edelweiss Valley, very weird seeing a place I ski at sometimes on here, especially a place relatively small.

[Music] and here's the semi-final results Dean coming from the US is leading with Doug Robinson from Canon in second place and the u.s. takes third and fourth and the Canadians and Australian split the next four spots in sixth place it's Darryl heaps from the Ontario freestyle team and at 8th place Dominic Gautier from Quebec he's 18 years old and Steve's out of Mulsanne end and he's our first year down the course in the men's final round Meredith will want to keep an eye on this run yes Dominic is a leader of the strong Quebec Scottie has a very exciting style and a strong start as he does his first era of Twister spread well done as he skis down the top part of this tough icy course yes there's a very quick series it turns of skiers call a flurry the judges love it okay and as he comes through the middle part he's just cruising no problems there and down at the bottom he'll be setting up shortly for his second aerial and it's a double twister you really pulled that one out very balanced very quick nice run he's a very tight balance here and he can see him setting up for that quick series of turns Dominika hot rod how did it feel a little good yeah how's the course holding up but I didn't I cellphone I really grabbed me next in the gate is 18 year old Craig Rodman who lives in skis in Park City Utah it's his first year on the Norum tour he's used to those powdery Western conditions so let's see how he handles his Iceland Eastern force well Craig has an aggressive look on his face as he comes off the top and into the first jump it's a big daffy floor I'm skiing well here at this point he's handling the course well but you can really see how we reach in the skis out to the side I don't think he edges as well as we put on this kind of ice craig handles the difficult middle section of the course gets thrown a bit by that big bump just below the pitch nice secondary daffy twister and handles his bottom section really welcome flurry right there at the end good run for Craig's you can see how he really reaches his skis out to the side but being abducted a bit for that Craig a solid run how did you feel a little bit a little bit more conservative than I wanted to be let's uh hope to uh pick up the speed a little bit more but uh hey I'll take it next up is 24-year old Doug Thomason from Thunder Bay he's a veteran of the tour and he's known as a wild man on skis well he is a wild skier and here he comes out of the starting gate Doug's a member of the national freestyle development team he's off to a really good start here he's moving fast turning well big first air a little messy but very high Doug style is a little more loose than some of the other skiers well I said while he has a lot of upper body motion and it's very exciting to watch although it's not very technical as some of the other spheres are and a bit of a problem there here he comes into a second air a big daffy twister good jump beautiful second air it finishes off the run well good run and he's happy here he is coming into that first air you can see he's really high and that's impressive for the judges it's a tough course to jump high in all right good air coming down how was the course of course is a lot better was couple days ago that's for sure not to to get a lot of work put things together trying to get this contest off and boss just great now how do you think you're gonna do with that one oh it's could be aware I don't know though you know could be aware I want to be a winner and next up is Dean Cummings from Los Alamos New Mexico at 25 who's one of the oldest mobile skiers all right Dean Cummings was our men's winner in the semifinal round let's see if he can hang on to the top spot through the finals he's off to a really good fast start here and in his first day of double twisted nicely done okay he's turning well through this top part of the course but he seems to be getting back look at a pick up speed she's really cooking down this course although it's a bit ragged okay coming into his second air and it's a helicopter and the form was a little crazy but he landed it really well he had some trouble across the finish line and here we see Dean just cooking through that middle section of the course and with speed being 25% of the score which people probably make up for what he's losing in tournaments here Dean certainly one of the fastest runs of the day how did it feel good time how's the course holding up you seem to manage it no problem no problems with the ice it's totally ice hard bulletproof snow ice let him go sharpen my edges okay and today's final results Dominic go che from Quebec takes on the gold Dean Cummings from the US slides into second with an incredibly fast time and Doug Robertson from Canada takes home the bronze Dominic congratulations on winning today's mogul event how does it feel it's feel really good you know I a slowly beginning of the year I wasn't that ski real good let's keep my my best and this weekend ice to my vests and I'm real glad about this where do you go from here do you expect another year on the NorAm circuit before you make it to World Cup well this the most important for me at Nick's Europe I will do some work up and have a good result this year on Miranda maybe they will give me spots for next year [Music]
