foreign [Music] 1987 New Holland replaced their 8 000 series with the first of a long line of TX combines the range spanned four main models the tx30 32 34 and 36. the tx34 was a very popular mid-size combo the standard version of which could be fitted with a 15 or 17 foot header the more powerful hydrostatic drive version was also offered with a 20 foot option this tx34 is working with a 15-foot header thrashing was carried out by a large diameter 1.3 meter wide drum followed by an extra large 5-blade beater with its own concave and new Holland's rotary separator this was an extra beater again with its own concave to give a change in crop speed and direction to remove any last grains and increase output [Music] the tx34 had five strawberries slopes of up to 17 were no problem as the combine used new Holland's self-leveling cleaning shoe the full vision cab with tinted glass came as standard an optional performance monitor gave information about the sieves and Walkers so the driver could keep an eye on losses [Music] the grain tank mounted between the cab and the engine held 6 000 liters and was filled by a bubble-up order the lightweight tank covers could be lifted if need speed when full the whole tank could be emptied in less than one and a half minutes [Applause] [Music] for the first few years of production the tx34 had a six-cylinder turbocharged Mercedes-Benz om-352a engine of 162 horsepower This was later changed in favor of a 183 horsepower Ford 678 HT unit on the Standard Version and the hydrostatic drive version was equipped with a 205 horsepower Ford when it was launched the top of the range tx36 was the highest capacity straw Walker combine offered by New Holland it had hydrostatic driver standard and 17 or 20 foot cut headers the tx-36 used a wider thrashing system than the 34 at 1.56 meters it also gained an additional straw to cope with the extra crop flow bringing the total to six [Music] [Music] the grain tank was also larger at 7 700 liters a 240 horsepower Ford diesel provided extra power
