This is a great race, but did they just not care what lap they were on? The few times they show graphics it's just the first five positions, and the announcers haven't said what lap we're on since the start.
I don't think I've seen this whole race all the way through before. So I guess I know what I'll be doing for the next few hours.

It's amazing how far the broadcasts progressed in such a short time. The '89 500 broadcast feels a lot more modern than this one
Where did Bobby get the idea that he could just pass under caution? He said that Mario did it too. Has USAC just always been that bad at running the sport, that they just knew it would work?
