1976 Chevrolet Corvette sold at Coyote Classics

welcome back to another video at Coyote Classics here in green Iowa I'm Dalton and today we're checking out this good sound in 1976 Corvette Stingray really good sound in uh dual exhaust this one came in on trade cool little Corvette these cars are fun because they're a good entry level car you can get in by one of these for under 20 grand enjoy it drive it you know see if it's um see if the classic car hobby is something you enjoy and not have to spend 30 40 50 Grand right off the bat uh motor was uh rebuilt at a time previous owner had a Dyno sheet for it um 350 runs and drives good does have uh Power brakes and power steering was a factory air car I do not think the air works but pretty fun little hot Rod Chad dad would call this a budget Buster wouldn't he Brady yeah he would um little clear coat chip right here the paint was done you know a while back still still looks good still has a good shine but you know driver quality driver quality paint but still still a car you can take to your local car show you know be proud of have fun with it and not have to spend a whole bunch of money off the bat being the older paint we're going to find some chips and nicks things like that I'll do my best to point them out but obviously I'm not going to be able to get them all a small little chip down there couple small chips on the edge of the door door lines up good couple Rock chips down there and then the glasses I think the original glass of the car it does have I don't even know what to call that but some wear on the glass tea Toops got a little chip there and one thing with this thing when the guy brought this car and to trade it in he said it was that way for a few years and it's never gotten any worse so it's nothing to really worry about they did at one point you know redo the back windows still have some like silicone or the stuff they use to kind of get that in there on the back but door jam paint look good rubbers are the original it looks like to me door panels are in good shape Dash is nice and the seats are in good good condition too for you know what looks like original power windows yeah does have power windows don't it fourspeed those are always fun it's got a factory tack little Pioneer or no old JVC radio put in there I like the wheels and tires too you got some BFG RW ler tires with the Rally wheels couple small rock chips back there behind the rear tire got the old luggage rack and that dual exhaust sounds awesome I heard it when the guy pulled it in the lot like BR said took it in on trade and when he when he came pulling in I'm like that's a good sounding you know Cor that couple cracks here around the rear tail lights overall in pretty good shape Little Rock Chip there and if guy wants something they can drive and enjoy you're going to get some rock chips so yeah you know it's kind of nice what's it's what makes it not a 25 $3,000 Corvette but a low teens door lines up good got the rocker molding small little scratch there but overall in the car I'm excited to excit to drive it there's your factory tag there's not really one thing that's like bad about it really now it's a good car except just older paint only thing bad about it is a guy like me struggles to fit in these they definitely are small power windows roll up nice yeah I'm going to keep mine down cuz it gives me extra room for my elbow there you go so looks like your Gas cuge Works oil pressure car good oil pressure uh we'll check on our temp cage here as we get going down the road tack Works porn does not work like I said we go through all these cars when they come in um so we don't do full restoration so there's you know obviously on any old car there's always going to be a few things that uh the next guy can do but so far the only thing I'm seeing right now that's uh not working on it um is the horn yep we haven't checked this yet though and also the AC like I said it's got the compressor there but it does not does not work everything moves freely though for this like the fan I think I don't know if the Fan's working or not but that's what you got windows for and some of that stuff's the difference between a a low teens car and a high 20s 30s car you know so obviously nothing's perfect but shift's good check our brakes here brakes stop perfectly straight really nice pedal said this car is met for guys a little bit smaller than myself but I don't know if the seat goes back anymore or not I think you're all the way back might be all the way back huh there's a lever down at the front all the way back got a good sound to it still not quite warmed up yet but it's got good pole third fourth my roll my window up that's wind noise but fourth gear speedometer works speedometer might bounce a little bit but seems pretty accurate um goes down the road good front end feels good steering's really nice and tight it's a great driving car um temp gauge that looks like that's starting to come up so I looks like that's working gas gauge working yep CEST our brakes here again brakes are great really nice pedal there's a couple potholes here we'll try to avoid all right a lot better now that it's warmed up Def got good pull in third and fourth good car um check it out on the website KY classics.com like I said just a good entry-level classic something to jump in drive and enjoy and not have to break the
