19 AWESOME GIFTS FOR CAMPERS: Best Camping Gifts (they will love!)

hey there welcome to my channel happy holidays i cannot believe we are already at the holiday season and in this video i have a roundup of some really fun and useful gift ideas for car campers before we dive into the list i just want to let you know this video is not sponsored this is all of this stuff that i genuinely bring card camping and use and i think would be really great gift ideas and everything will be linked in the description below without further ado let's dive right in number one is reusable water bottles so i have two options here these are both by hydroflask this is the one that i use the most often so this size here and i'll link to it in the description below you're going to see quite a bit of hydroflask stuff just because i love all the colors and the functionality of these items but a good water bottle is super super useful and as you can see i do have a few in different sizes and in different colors so if your person needs a new water bottle or you see a color that you know they're gonna love this might be a really great option next up on my list is some camp games what i have brought to show you guys are a couple decks of cards so this one is a night sky with constellations and this one is a national parks illustrated playing cards so they're just fun like outdoor themed normal decks of cards so you can play card games at camp i love bananagrams so i bring bananagrams camping a lot nick doesn't love it i like word games more than i like card games actually so i bring banana games banana grams so something like this would make a cute little stocking stuffer bananagrams is a little bit harder to play camping sometimes because you do need a pretty flat surface but i take it camping nonetheless so camp games idea number two number three we are coming back to the hydroflask products and this one is for those of you who like to drink wine or cocktails at camp hydroflask makes a portable wine bottle so you don't have to worry about any glass breaking at camp which is key and then they also make these cute little wine glasses with a sippy cup that comes top so that you don't spill your wine everywhere so i love these because i don't want to be bringing glass when i'm camping because if that breaks that's a huge mess that's really hard to clean up so these make it really nice they also make these little cocktail glasses for those of you who like to do a cocktail at camp these will keep your drink colder and again you're not worrying about glass nice and easy to hold and carry around camp number four is a nice pair of binoculars in my other videos i've talked about how much i love taking the binoculars camping you can get a tripod adapter for these and then just sit at camp and look way in the distance you can try and find animals you can look at birds there are just so many things that you can do with this we use it a lot too for the night sky so if we have a really beautiful dark starry night sky nick is really good about constellations and planets and finding stuff i love having binoculars because it just allows you to notice more of the things that are around you this is a really nice pair by the brand vortex again i will link to them in the description below having a nice pair of binoculars is not something that i really thought to bring camping when i first started camping but now they always come with me number five is some stasher bags as you can see here they come in all different sizes and colors and i always just bring a few of these when i go camping for food leftovers or if you open a block of cheese you can put it in here you can put toiletries in here they're really really useful for i mean so many things that you might not even think about right off the bat but you'd be like glad you had them stasher bags oh i forgot i had coffee here oh what number are we on six next up we have coffee cups reusable coffee cups so i take one of these camping all the time because i really like my coffee to be hot and with these mugs they just help keep your coffee hotter longer and again they're super durable and they have lids so that you don't spill your coffee all over the place this one is by hydroflask and then this one is by yeti i love them both i use them both i would say the men in my life tend to gravitate more towards yeti products nick loves yeti i've given my dad this mug for a gift one year both of these brands make all sorts of colors and i just i do really love them both if your person doesn't already have a nice insulated coffee mug i would say this is one of the items that i literally use every single day when i'm out camping sticking with the coffee theme my next gift idea is a coffee setup so here i have this little gsi outdoors java mill and you put the coffee beans in here and then you grind it now of course you can just bring pre-ground coffee i just like to grind it right before i use it so that's nice and fresh and then i have this little silicone pop-up pour over thing that's kind of the system that i use to make my coffee when i'm camping i thought it would be a great gift idea to maybe get a coffee set up you can even add in the coffee mug with this and then a really nice bag of your favorite coffee would be a really great little complete gift for someone who loves coffee all right next up is a great little stocking stuffer and that is a nightcore flashlight so this one is a really heavy duty durable very bright i always keep this in my car so that i have a really good source of light easily accessible in my glove compartment and i can tell you this is really actually helpful if you drive up to a campsite in the dark you can kind of pull this out and it's so so bright that you can easily kind of see where you're at and where you might want to pitch your tent anyone who's driven up to a camping area in the dark knows that it can be really hard to see what's around you and what might be a good spot to camp and so that's just one scenario in which this light can be really helpful again having a source of light is really important when you're camping you know i have a headlamp as well but this is just a really great durable backup light source that i think would make a great stocking stuffer what number are we at i think we're on number nine number nine is a hammock hammocks are so relaxing and nice to just pitch on a really relaxing casual day at camp you can read a book just sway take a nap i'm gonna adjust the lighting because the sun is on me now so let me fix this next up is the enamel kitchen camp kitchen dining gear from bare bones living i love just really everything that barebones living makes and they have the cutest line of enamel dining wear these are their bowls but they have plates in different sizes they have cups that all kind of match they're enamel they're really durable they're the perfect size for camping i mean they're made for camp outdoor dining kind of stuff this is a really nice idea if your person loves to cook at camp getting them a nice set of bowls or plates would be a really great gift idea now speaking of bare bones living the next gift idea is a dutch oven this ratty towel is just because this was rattling in the car when i was driving all right so this is that was close so this right here is my dutch oven and i love this thing it's just the perfect size this is the 10 inch four quart dutch oven on the inside of the lid it has like a whole charcoal briquette guide so you know exactly how much charcoal to use for creating specific temperatures within the dutch oven if your person really enjoys cooking and baking this would be a really fun gift idea i absolutely love love cooking with the dutch oven it's just so fun and crazy the things that you can create when you're camping with this thing it's really probably not a item that the average camper would go out and buy but if they like to cook and bake like i said this would be a really fun gift idea the things that i love about the bare bones living one are this temperature guide which i already mentioned and then it also has a ventable lid so depending on what you're cooking you might want to be able to let some of that steam out and this design just allows you to do that really easily it comes in another size it's bigger than this but this is a great size for about two to four people next up is more cast iron and it's a good cast iron pan so this is what i cook on all the time when i'm camping i love cast iron for camping because you can cook on a camp stove you can also cook over a campfire with the cast iron this one that i have right here is actually an antique cast iron pan because i like to collect antique cast iron but it's kind of cool because this is an antique that you can actually use it's about somewhere around 100 years old which i think is pretty cool if you're not into collecting antique cast iron which i'm guessing you're probably not because how many people actually really do that i don't know but bare bones living also sells some cast iron pans and those are really great option as well with the cast iron pan uh my next gift is a little brush cleaner for your cast iron so this is a really nice one it has some wood here and it's just a really firm durable bristles here and you just kind of use that to get all the bits off of your cast iron pan it's a small great little stocking stuffer and easy to throw in your camping bin that will be really helpful for cleaning next we have a portable power bank here so this is just a place that you can charge your phone you can charge camera batteries which is something that nick and i use it a lot for because we both film he's a photographer where are you going so we bring this with us to charge things like phones and all of our camera gear batteries as you can probably imagine with all the filming and photography that we do we end up needing to charge our cameras quite a bit so something like this is just really sleek small portable and it will charge a lot like you can even charge a computer off of this it's very versatile and something great to just have in the car if your person likes to film and document things and storytell through video a gopro is a great gift now i would say most of my videos i'm using the gopro especially vlog type camping things because this thing is incredibly easy to use compared to my other camera which the amount of hours i have spent trying to figure out my camera that i'm currently filming this with this one is just so easy it's waterproof it has great bird it has great image stabilization great audio for anyone who just likes to have a creative project or wants to document their adventures a gopro is great next up is the shirt that i've talked about the most on this channel and it is the patagonia kapolein cool daily hoodie this is just a great all-around adventure shirt i like the long-sleeve version here with the hood and for hotter summer trips this thing is just the best it's designed to keep you cool it has sun protection built into the fabric and so it's just an all-around great shirt to have i know a lot of men who love this shirt i've given this shirt as a gift before and then i absolutely love it so it's just a really simple shirt that i'm sure would get a ton of use and it comes in a few different colors i have a size medium in this to help you kind of gauge i did actually try the small when i originally bought it and the small was way too small for me so i'm definitely a medium in this shirt i just love it it's definitely my most used shirt when i am out camping or just spending lots of time in the sun next up here we have a flannel as you can see i like a good flannel because i'm wearing one and this one here is by fall raven i love this one it's thicker a little bit warmer it's kind of pricey but this one right here which i love just as much is from target a lot cheaper and i just love the colors and patterns and i wear flannels all the time because i just like the look of them and they're easy to just throw on when you're kind of out and about they tend to be pretty durable i'm actually wearing a medium and this one and this one so i'll link to these in the description below but i've gotten a lot of compliments on this one actually and it was like only 20 bucks it's a little bit boxier on me it's definitely more of an oversized fit i think i could have gotten away with a small on this one from target so again i'm just giving you sizes to help gauge what one might work for you and the person you're buying for great gift idea next up on my list is homemade fire starters i think this is such a cute little idea you can make them and then give them as a gift in little stasher bags this is actually a cute little holiday one it has trees on it and you can wrap this up put a bow on it and it's just a cute little homemade gift that's super useful so i have a separate video that shows you exactly how to make these little diy fire starters with egg cartons and some wax so things that you probably already have in the house it's really easy it's really fun and they actually burn for quite a while it's like at least 10 minutes or so so they're great for starting a campfire and i just think that this is such a cute little gift idea the last thing on my list is something i don't feel like lugging over here and it is a yeti cooler it is right over there but you know what i'm just gonna stay where i'm at now a good reliable cooler i think is an awesome gift if your person loves to camp and they don't already have one because it just allows you to bring more things when it comes to food and therefore cook and prepare different types of meals when you're camping nick and i have the yeti tundra cooler i think it's the 45 and it's the perfect size for us for camping we can fit quite a bit in there usually for like three four five day trips it's totally totally fine we love having that and again it just allows me to cook all sorts of stuff when i'm out camping and i just think that if your person doesn't have a good cooler it doesn't have to be a yeti i mean that's just what i have and what i can recommend and i know that works so that rounds out my long list of gift ideas for car campers i hope you have some new ideas here like i said
