You possess like a very,
very old soul. I see a bright future
for you in music... ...Molly, you're amazing. What's your name, love? I'm Molly, I'm 17... What?! Wow. You're seventeen?! Yeah... I'm Molly Hocking, I'm 17... ...and I'm from
St Ives in Cornwall. My mum has a shop
in St Ives. It's called 'Fabulous'. All right, mom! She named it after me,
no, I'm joking. So I work in mum's shop. Molly, can you get
it back please, my love? We just have a laugh. Even when there's
not people in... ...we'll just mess about with
the kids toys in the back. It's really fun. The first time I realized
I wanted to be a singer... ...was when I was five... ...I played Mary
in the school play. Mom has actually
got a video of that... ...that she shows to everyone
when they all come around our house. I was like,
'I just want to be Beyoncé'. I've been watching The Voice... ...since I was very little... ...and being here today
is absolutely surreal. I can't quite get my
head around... ...that I'm actually gonna
be on The Voice. All I want to do is sing
and if I got a turn... ...it would mean everything. It's what I've been gearing up for
since I was about 10. And I just want to make
my family proud. And make myself proud. You sound like a songbird... Your voice is just so beautiful. Oh, thank you! You're amazing. The first few notes,
I heard your voice... I was like, 'wow'! Special voice. You sang with
the story, the emotion. You completely took
my breath away. Oh, thank you. I could listen to you,
all day every day. You're 17, you say?
- Yes. 'Cause you sound like you've
been singing a long time. You know, you're in command of...
- Isn't she? ...of your instrument. The way you put your
emotion into the song... ...a lot of singers can't do that. Anyway... It's time for you to pick. Who's gonna be your coach? I had in mind Tom... 'cause... Have you changed? Hold on, let her finish speaking,
let her finish speaking, Tom. And now my
kind of gut instinct... ...is to go with Olly. Well I've done right, than? Is that confirmed? Deal, I'm gonna go with Olly. Oh my god, amazing! Thank you so much.
- This is gonna be so much fun. Molly & Olly,
He's wise, so great pick! Welcome to team Olly. I think I have the winner in this team,
I genuinely believe that. I can't go the second year
without winning. So, first pairing... ...is Molly versus Connie. It is really emotional, isn't it?
- Yeah. You alright, darling? I just had a heartbreak as well. Oh have you?
I'm so sorry to hear that. All this emotion just came out
and I just started crying. I feel so silly, sorry.
- Don't be silly. With a song like this... ...you need to find
a moment in your life... ...where you can understand it. With Molly,
it's happening right now. You okay, Molly?
You feeling all right? Yeah. Yeah, yeah.
- Are you sure? I'm cool. If she starts crying and
she wanted about to sing... So she's really
got to control her emotions. You guys did spectacular. Each one of you guys
stepped up. And performed better
than your blinds. You both did so well,
I'm so proud of you as a coach. You came out here,
you put them emotions to the side... ...and you absolutely smashed it.
That was beautiful, well done. This is such a tough decision. But based on that performance... I'm gonna go with Molly. Congratulations, that was amazing! Hi, how are you?
- How are you? How are you sweetheart,
you're okay? I'm really good. Hello, nice to meet you. My legs were about
to give away. I'm just a massive,
massive fan of Ann Marie. She's one of
my all-time inspirations. Molly is 18, from Cornwall.
- Nice. It baffles me every time
I meet you, how young you are. But how much emotion
she brings to a song. I love that. I don't think Molly really,
truly believes or knows, how good she is. Everytime she sings,
she makes me think of the song... ...she makes me think of the lyrics. It's a very unique talent, she's got. I can't wait to hear you sing. I'm worried,
because since battles I have had... ...braces. I've not sung with them yet,
so it's gonna be quite a new experience. All the songs you sung previously,
have been amazing... ...very emotional. This time... I want to give you something much bigger
than what you've done before. So the song I picked for you
is 'Human', Christina Perri. You're face... You look at me like
'I'm scared'. It is a massive song. And I lack confidence
in singing bigger songs. I just feel like,
she does hold back. She's getting to the chorus
and she's doing a soft way. It kind of loses the impact. Your voice is so pure. There's like some rasp
that you've got there... ...that you shouldn't
be scared of. Just go for that. I know I need to impress Olly. To get through
to the next round. But I didn't feel like
I was doing that. I've gone wrong. I know you can do it. You've got to be
confident in yourself. Because you're
very, very talented. I know she's got such
a big voice in there. We just need to get it out. Just open up and use
that range that you've got. I've come too far now
to let it all go. I just need to make sure that
I can hold my nerve on stage. You possess like a very,
very old soul. And it shows through in your character
and how you perform. I see a bright future
for you in music... ...Molly, you're awesome. Thank you. Olly? I was with you every single step
of the way of that performance. Your voice gets me everytime. And I know this was
your biggest challenge so far. And it was so nice to hear
you sing out... ...and sing them long notes. Because you've got such a great,
great voice and I just loved it. Loved it! Olly, can you give me
the name of the singer... ...that you want to take through
to the live semi-final? Okay, okay, okay! The person I'm taking
through to the semi-final... ...is Molly. Molly! Great to see you, darling. We're in the semi-final! I can't believe it.
It made my year. I'm only 18 and I'm
from a very small town. I'm used to just
singing in my bedroom. This is by far,
the most daunting thing... ...I've ever done in my life. Everything we've done in the moment,
has been great. Yeah, brilliant. So I just want to like, continue that.
-Yeah. So, I'm as nervous as you are. All you're lacking is confidence. It's beautiful, but you
don't actually believe it yet. The production and staging
is absolutely massive. I don't know how
I'm gonna cope with it. I felt a bit wobbly. Just keep doing what you're doing.
Sounds great, honestly. I'm so terrified, but I've just got
to go out there... ...and give it my all, because,
I want to get to the final. The buzz of live performances. I love it
I love it, this is what I live for. It's amazing, I'm like... I'm just so...
I can't, I'm speechless. You're speaking,
so you're doing good. You're doing really good. Molly... All I can say is, you lucky
I can't get these shoes off my feet. 'Cause you, lil sister,
almost caught a shoe on this day... I was like: 'Should I throw
that notebook, what should I do?' That was so gorgeous,
your voice is so amazing. This set, everything, is just awesome . And if you're not in the finale,
I'm gonna be highly upset. Thank you. The second act, performing again
in next week's final is... ...Molly! Yes! Final! I can't believe
I've got this far. Now I just can't wait to get home
and see my family & friends. And everyone that supported me. I've never been away
from home this long. It's's actually been one of
the hardest things I've ever done. We're so proud of you Molly,
well done. You never say anything
like that to me. Everyone stands behind Molly. We've made the t-shirts,
We've got a hat with Molly on it. Good luck, Molly. Now I'm on my way
to my old school. I haven't been there in two years. And I'm so excited,
because they are so supportive. The reaction from the kids... ...was better than anything
I could have hoped for. I just wanted to say. An absolutely, huge, thank you
to everyone who voted for me. It is amazing to
see her flourishing. Go Molly, you're fantastic. Molly is only just 18. She started off not having
the most confidence... ...but I think
she's flying now. Yeah, so proud of her
and what she's achieving. Can't believe you're in the final. Knowing that I'm surrounded
by such supportive people... ...is the best feeling
in the world. So proud of you. You can do this. It just made me really, really... ...want to go out there on Saturday
and win The Voice. Thank you, for entering
The Voice this year. Honestly.. You entered this competition like a girl,
and you're leaving it as a woman. And I truly believe you can win,
you should win this show. Well done. I can now announce... ...that the winner
of The Voice 2019 is... ...Molly! Molly, congratulations!
