- [Glen] Minibikes and scooters are a wonderful way to have fun while saving on the cost of fuel. Minibikes can be seen tearing up go-kart tracks around the world, while scooters are a great way to maneuver around on any city street. This is Glen, and today we are bringing you 15 minibikes and scooters for any adventure. (upbeat electronic music) (electronic static) - [Woman] Number 15. - [Glen] The Challenger by KUBERG is an electric bike made specifically for trail riding and comes with a 48-volt lithium-ion battery. This is made with a lightweight frame that has a super strong structural integrity, comes with a clutchless one-speed transmission, and has three power mode settings. The bike has a redesigned motor that is centrally located with the battery, creating a well-balanced center of gravity. The battery has a 2 1/2 hour charge time and will run for one hour at full speed on a full charge. These are WiFi ready and have a cost of about $4,700. - [Woman] Number 14. - [Glen] Honda has redesigned and re-released their popular Monkey 125 lightweight minibike which was developed in the early '60s as part of a children's ride at an amusement park in Tokyo. This feature a 125cc air-cooled engine with 9.3 horsepower, a steel frame, USD forks, and twin rear shocks. Weighing 234 pounds, it comes with a 1.5 gallon fuel tank, will get an estimated range of 235 miles, and comes in a choice of Banana Yellow or Pearl Nebula Red for colors. Released last month, this minibike will cost you just under $4,000 to ride. - [Woman] Number 13. - [Glen] In 2010, California Scooter Company revived the old Mustang motorcycles from the '50s with the newer version, coming with either a 150cc or 250cc engine. This is a basic motorcycle that is more of a scooter, really, and is excellent for recreational riding. Originally these came with a cost of around $4,000 plus the cost of any extra accessories, and even though they are no longer produced, CSC continues to offer parts, support, and technical expertise. - [Woman] Number 12. - [Glen] This 2009 Sachs Minerva MadAss 125cc, like the smaller 50cc scooter, has a twin seat that sits on a single tube frame that also hold the fuel, and both bikes will get range of 150 miles per tankful, with a fuel capacity of 1.5 gallons. The 125cc bike has a top speed of 55 miles per hour and a weight of 209 pounds, while the 50cc bike weighs in at 187 pounds. The cost of the 50cc is $1,899. The 125 costs $2,399. - [Woman] Number 11. - [Glen] The Yamaha EC-03 is a silent running electric scooter with an AC synchronous motor that is cost effective. And when riders need a little extra boost of speed, they can switch from standard to power mode with the press of a button. This slim and light bike has comfortable upright seating, a digital LCD display, and user-friendly design that is easy to use, plugs into a wall socket, and has a top speed of 25 miles per hour. One of these will cost you around $2,800. - [Woman] Number 10. - [Glen] The Kawasaki Z125 PRO has an LCD dash with a gear indicator and dual trip meters, with Z-family mirrors and turn signals. This has a manual clutch with a four-speed gearbox and an SOHC engine that is made with parts from the earlier KLX models. With a two gallon gas tank and acclaimed 135 miles per gallon, this has a top speed of 60 miles per hour. This has a curb weight of 225 pounds and a weight capacity of 350 pounds, with a cost of about $3,000. - [Woman] Number nine. - [Glen] The 121 pound Pocket Rocket made by Sol Motors of Germany is a cross between an electric bike and an electric motorcycle. It comes with a 5.4 horsepower motor, large street tires, and dual suspension should smooth out the ride and take some of the stress off the small seat. And this has a top speed of 31 miles per hour with a range of 31 to 50 miles, depending on the riding mode. Though this is not available yet, the price is expected to be around $6,000. - [Woman] Number eight. - [Glen] The Massimo MB200 is an entry-level, gas-powered, 6.5 horsepower dirt bike. Made for new riders both young and old, this comes with a 196cc air-cooled engine, a full automatic clutch transmission, and wide off-road tires. This has a hydraulic, telescopic front suspension, rear-wheel drive, weighs 152 pounds, and with a weight capacity of 200 pounds, this gives you a top speed of 24 miles per hour. The MB200 is delivered to your house pre-built and will cost just under $700. - [Woman] Number seven. - [Glen] Designed by Italian designer Alessandro Tartarini, the Velocifero is a foldable, electric scooter with tires that will handle all types of terrain, and has a wavy wooden deck for an unforgettable look. The basic version has a 500-watt motor while the top model features a 1600-watt motor. These are customizable with a top speed of 28 mile per hour with the 48-volt motor, and a range of up to 35 miles with the lithium battery. Prices on these start out at approximately $1,100. - [Woman] Number six. - [Glen] From SSR Motorsports, we have the RAZKULL 125 motorbike. With an eight horsepower air-cooled engine that comes with either an electric or kick start, and has a four-speed manual transmission. Weighing 225 pounds, this has LED indicator lights, front and rear, stylized mirrors and mirror stocks, an inverted fork, digital gauge cluster, and has a big 3.17-gallon fuel tank. This bike is sold in four colors, red, black, white, or yellow, and has a cost of $2,000. - [Woman] Number five. - [Glen] The Honda Grom is a single cylinder, 125 cc motorbike with fuel injection, electric starting, and weights in at 225 pounds. The low center of gravity and narrow profile make it easy to get you up to the top speed of 70 miles per hour. This comes in either blue, orange, red, or green, with plenty of maintenance-reducing features. And with other models like the MSX-125 and the Streetfighter, Honda will be around for a little while longer. This has a starting cost of $3,400. - [Woman] Number four. - [Glen] The Benelli TnT 125 was designed in Italy and built in China. It's comfy to sit on, easy to steer and control, and looks like the scaled-down version oof the company's Streetfighter model. Aimed squarely at the Honda and Kawasaki efforts and designed to bludgeon them on power and specifications, this will have a 9.5 horsepower engine, a two-gallon fuel tank, a curb weight of 267 pounds, and a top speed of 68 miles per hour. Currently the Benelli will be limited to international markets like the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, and Australia. And the cost, around $2,300. - [Woman] Number three. - [Glen] Honda's chunky little 50cc Zoomer is easy to ride, stylish, and Honda claims it has low emissions. Lots of bungee hooks, a skeleton frame, and a lack of bodywork give this a lot of storage space. These were first produced in 2003 in the U.S. and Japan, and later in the United Kingdom in 2005. Called the Honda Ruckus in America, this bike with a single-cylinder, four-stroke engine has a top speed of 30 miles per hour, and a range of 114 miles per gallon of fuel. - [Woman] Number Two. - [Glen] In production for six decades, Honda's original Cub is the most popular, most produced motor vehicle in history. And now the latest version by K-Speed, the all new 2019 Super Cub is coming to the U.S. in limited quantities. In stock form, the 109cc fuel-injected scooter is modern retro with a fork-mounted headlight, LED turn signals, vintage-looking, wing-shaped handle bars, fat off-road tires, and a classic black and white finish.
