12 Slow Stitched Needlebooks

good morning this is Chrissy and welcome to my channel thank you for joining me today um in front of me I have um what I've been working on for since Christmas actually um I like to just have a project that I can sit quietly and do after Christmas and I decided that I would make um some more needle books and my aim was to make sex and I reached that number and then I thought well I haven't really had enough of this project yet so I'll do nine so I did another three and at that point I was still not really ready to um call it quits so I I did another three so all in all I've got 12 needle books here many many hours of stitching now they are all hand stitched uh everything is completely hand stitched in them so um I'd like to go ahead and show you so what I'm going to do is just pick one and show you um give a description of what I've done and then I'll just um put on some music for you too see the rest of them so let me start with this one pop these over here they're all roughly the same size um which is roughly nine by fifteen or a 14 or 15 and an inches that's three and a half by about five and a half give or take so I'll zoom in a tear it for you and um as I said they're all hand stitched I just love um putting the Fabrics together and coordinating them and um choosing the buttons a lot of the buttons are vintage or even antique buttons they're very old some of them are not um and also some have a rustic um overcast um age and others are blanket stitched um it wasn't about the Perfection and creating these it was about the enjoyment so let me just show you anyway I'll undo this one and open it out give you an overview um some nice and little Suffolk paths um can't really say very much about it it's it is what you're seeing there in front of me and then they all have a lovely wall blanket page for the needles or pins and that's very nice actually for sticking in Needles and Pins and each one has a little just a little charm down here and a piece of lace and I also even thought that you could perhaps use that as a scissor keep um if you wanted just to put on your scissors it's just a thought I had maybe might be not I'll pop that back in there um then each one has a little uh pocket that I've hand stitched here and a button card with coordinating buttons and then it just goes around there like that to close it so now I'll just show you the other 11 and I hope you enjoy [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] thank you [Music] thank you foreign [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] foreign [Music] thank you foreign [Music] thank you for joining me bye
