1000HP Audi RS3 Sleeper Hot Hatch - A GTR’s Worst Nightmare (and mine...)

let's go pray for [Applause] us that's only a half throttle that was half throttle that's full F away welcome back to the channel guys my name is clayon and today we have a killer car out here it is extremely quick it is no slouch take a look at this insane 2018 Audi RS3 it looks a little bit modified but guys this is the most crazy Audi out here because guys it's basically a stage 10 check out that intercooler it has 1,000 horsepower and a gigantic turbo on this fully built 5 cylinder engine it's such a stunning car and with the hatchback form like this honestly you couldn't even tell that it's that quick I'm so hyped to feature this we're out here in Sydney we're here with the owner and the man himself Chris how are you can you tell us a little bit about your pride and joy over here so like you said 2018 RS3 built engine nothing's been spared what a brand new second day we had it I went and tuned it a warranty been a a journey from there did you intend to build a drag car like this or no no it was just uh you know starting from one thing and then end escalated obviously like everything does out of proportion and uh yeah and here we are and here we are you know what an engine so who built this car okay I've built everything in the car you did it yourself yes I'm a mechanic by trade wow and uh I only gave it up not long ago so yeah I've done everything to this car from the engine this is like your swans song isn't it that's right the final K lot that is so sick most people that buy these cars send them off to workshops everybody but it's sick that you actually did this this is awesome man it's hard work all my heart and sweat is in this one would you be able to show us what's under the hood sure of course let's do it guys check out that crazy intercooler is that like 100 Mil 5 in guys it's an insanely big intercooler it doesn't look much under here wow still got the standard cover other than the manifold obviously standard line computer that manifold is humongous yeah RPC manifold wow Spain you've got the turbo in the background there there yeah so what turbo are you running to push 1,000 horsepower 7275 was the original turbo that we're running it we ran 1,000 horsepower on it and then uh on the street on the on the street it wasn't that responsive with too much leg so we downgrade it to 6875 now okay wow yeah so you can basically run two setups for this you can run the Big Turbo for the drags and a street setup Street set up the one Turbo from the other is just a smaller one size down for so it's not a big big huge difference yeah exactly the big difference that made was we ran the standalone cyx computer oh wow that's a neat piece of Kit I've never heard of that company before cyx yeah cyx is pretty big in Audi okay wow that's really cool Forge Pistons rods bigger sump oil pump heavy duty oil pump um the head it's got different it's got 2 mm plus valves on Inlet and exhaust okay it's been ported I don't think we Spar anything on this it's like the max that you can go on it the big ticker big that's it as big as it gets though isn't it yeah kind think you can do anything more than that like than this so everything there's nothing on this car that I have not pulled apart yeah and fixed you know do you upset a lot of people in this thing I have I feel from G evos evos yes two cars actually commod you know yeah 100% And does it get much cop trouble no no nothing never been pull never been ped diver never been hassled that's the way di for being stupid but yeah nothing today cuz we are in Mexico nothing and so what's the fastest time you've ran on this okay we haven't ran A4 of a mile time as yet on this car but this car does hold the Australian stock engine and turbo record which was 10.2 at 136 mph no one's been able to sort of beat that so far and full preface guys it's not stock anymore it's it's got a massive turbo now so we just haven't had the chance to run the quarter of a yet right and capable of eights probably high eights yeah definitely I just realized you've got stock wheels on yes stock everything stock normally when you say 1,000 horsepower people come here with their Pro Street set up they come here with their Simmons or something like that stock full sleeper it's a stock the only thing you to do is got wheeled uh front uh six piston brakes six piston brakes which is the drag brakes right they're not uh like any uh heavy duty breaking course I run the TSI re brakes as well so I can run 15in um rims on them with the Slicks on them that's really smart yeah yeah and stock exhaust stock exhaust as well BRS Sports exhaust on it wow who even needs a modified exhaust yeah exactly still makes enough power it's good yeah it sounds good right sounds does it sound even better now it sounds even better we'll have a look at the interior as well let's do it so beautiful the stock add inter interior except the front seats which are raros oh yeah the sportser seats hey the sportser seats really that's the only thing that's been upgraded into the interior and the gearbox has been fully built and everything as well I wouldn't expect anything else awesome nothing is nothing nothing that I haven't touched nothing that I haven't pulled down and stripped and checked and and modified yeah to you know for the horse so it's reliable so it doesn't break right but guys that's a little rundown and taste of Chris's insane Audi RS3 let's time we go for a drive man that's let's go let's do it let's do it let's go pray for us oh it sounds good not over the top either for 1,000 horsepower car feels like a normal RS3 in here already a little bit more vibration I wasn't expecting that already yeah that car got real close within a second yes [Applause] how do you normally drive your car Chris like I stole it I mean as it is the car feels very standard honestly you could really drive this everywhere every day W from driving it there no issues with drivability or anything like that yeah so on full Boost how much psi are you pushing 46 I think Max 46 PSI that's insane I think it's where we CT it off for 46 wow that's huge okay still got a few more PSI left in it are you trying to hit hit 50 50 psi on the cards I think so with a new turbo most probably a bit more than [Applause] so I need a bit of action holy moly it does it effortlessly though it feels very planted yeah it's planted it's so planted wow it honestly builds that power without even trying there's no lag it comes on hard I feel like it doesn't stop pulling either no it keeps going that's only a half throttle that was half throttle what's full like holy that needle is like that it bounces off quick [Music] that was sick how did you engage the anti- with this go back stalk ah and you hold it down flat foot on the floor and then let it go do you launch it as well or only at a drag I just to preserve the drive line and everything it takes the out of strain on drive line with the street ties probably won't but with the S it does oh yeah I can imagine rolling ant like for you that was nice us but we haven't got enough yeah it's always it just as it starts boosting you got to got to back off yeah I can't believe how quickly the taco is just flying right through very responsive even down low very responsive yeah 3 and 1/ 12,000 RPM [Music] I got it here you can really turn it as well but still not kicking at full Boost was like you know starting to build that up yeah for sure for sure all right let's see how go it's like prepare for warp speed I see as soon as the this comes in here you can feel it yeah that's only what map three got one more to go one more to go yeah map four is when full Boost comes off okay wow and that was uphill mind you guys [Music] that's how's it feel B the speed comes up so quick quick and he starts getting a be yeah you don't even notice just how quick it falls through the tack that's what that's in third GE third gear guys we just survived the 1,000 horsepower Audi RS3 wow guys we have to do a part two very soon but this thing guys is absolutely insane drive it to the street drive it to the track take it to Ma's drive-thru this
