and mixing and stuff like that but a lot of the songwriting is so interesting there's of course a lot of amazing music right now that's interesting but in the mainstream there was more interesting more good 80s songs than 90 songs there's more interesting 80s songs than interesting 90s songs i would say just songwriting-wise [Music] there's still more jazzy stuff going on in the mainstream [Music] singer and journey so underappreciated that tone [Music] patience forget about the words on your mind [Music] man always that tone is just unbelievable for you how high is that the high note is a high c sharp i don't think we need houston had the biggest range of anyone she just had like the best tone and amazing delivery high c sharp like that is still high but it's not you know crazy [Music] so many of these songs i just want to keep listening to you but every clip in this video is super short [Music] so this wasn't 80s for some reason i always think of michael jackson as 90s yeah 1988. [Music] i always thought that was michael jackson actually somebody's watching me it's the same vibe like it's mysterious and the vocals are very similar [Music] oh what a cool theme for a song oh is that serious i wear my sunglasses at night so i can so i can watch you weave then breathe your story lines i can keep track of the visions in my eyes while she's deceiving me i love it i love it it's so [Music] cringy [Music] dang roxette were actually big i thought that they were mainly big in sweden but it seems like they were big internationally as well so the guy in that band actually had a big swedish band as well and he's still a big swedish songwriter even though not as relevant in the mainstream as boys in the 80s with roxas [Music] [Music] i love you luis and the news they're considered really cringy but they have this one amazing i mean this one is in back to the future they also have stuck with you which is a really good song and uh yeah there's just a bunch of them his voice is so deliciously raspy listen to that ah michael jackson's just in a league of zone isn't he [Music] what was that supposed to be suggestive kind of like just delivering just a bowling ball out of her um uterus yes ricky boy always that's the same dance doesn't matter i love him this really sounds like a crow here she's croaking [Music] oh this is sick in a video the other day i came to the conclusion that a lot of collabs between famous artists are kind of forgotten but this one is well remembered queen and everybody under pressure there's so many collabs that just can disintegrate for example rihanna has been a feature with so many big artists but when you think of rihanna you never think of those you always think of her own songs which is interesting also iconic said sound or i guess that might be an organ [Music] there's so many cringy rock songs from the 80s and stuff where they just sing about rock and roll no one's singing like that about trap music nowadays like oh i'm gonna make some trap gonna rap on trap beat maybe there are like dubstep songs that's singing about dubstep hey up there yeah let's do the dubstep i love dubstep sick voice is who's that trick based on that madonna song he must be yeah david guetta and rihanna yeah madonna is listed as a songwriter on it the song uses the sample of madonna's 1987 single who's that girl [Music] hey he's wearing a green screen it's such a weird song i love it how did that become a hit though that's so interesting to think about what are those lyrics about the lyrics can be interpreted as describing a man experiencing a mid-life crisis where's my wife and family what if i die here who'll be my role model apparently just about paul simon's own life [Applause] cringy boy bands you can find them in any era [Music] it's funny a friend of mine always said this i don't know if this is edgy to say it wasn't me you said it originally basically said that like there are two people there's like one super white guy and one guy that looks like a little bit mixed whatever you would think listening to the album that is this guy that has to be like really you know meaty voice but it's this guy who sings just you make like super awesome voice so awesome what a voice look so creepy it looks like jim carrey trying to look creepy in the movie [Music] uh the 80s was a weird time okay guys good care for more music coming to our videos okay for music vs videos and i will see you tomorrow in another daily video have a very 80s day and an 80s life and an 80s wedgie here you go that was you you got a wedgie you've been bullied today you deserve something to pick yourself up a snack go get a snack okay i'll see you tomorrow bye

I loved this.. I was only a youngster in the 80s (I'm a 90s kid) but this had me baltering in my best silk bomber jacket, nkob jeans and neon wristbands with my Yamaha keyboard on preset!
