hell or meeting with long departed ancestors or relatives messages from murder victims with details of the crime that took their life one of the most convincing examples of possible messages from the afterlife is the story of Pennsylvanian jack froze in June 2011 froze suffered a fatal arrhythmia that left all of his friends and family devastated by his passing he was just a 32 years of age five months on and the grieving process was beginning to settle down when it was suddenly regenerated by a series of emails sent from the froze email account Tim Hart considered himself to be amongst Rosa's closest friends and was the target of one of the first emails to be sent titled I'm watching this email outlined our conversations the pair shared several months before froze his sudden passing the short email read as follows did you hear me I'm at your house clean your fucking attic hard did admit to feeling concerned when he initially read the email he almost felt the color drain from his cheeks during an interview conducted by the BBC he also revealed that he replied to it but never got an answer back Hart firmly believes that there was very little chance that anyone outside of the pair would know of the private conversations between the best friends it would appear unlikely that neither would really share the experience to a third or even fourth party Tim Hart was not alone in receiving an email from Fross Jimmy McGraw was froze his cousin and was also a recipient of an email from the same account this time the message was even stranger and potentially more unsettling after froze his death McGraw suffered a broken ankle that became the basis of his email message this time the message read hey Jim how are you doing I knew you were to break your ankle tried to warn you gotta be careful while Tim heart was less than enthused with the email he received Jimmy was much more so far from considering it as some kind of ill omen McGraw took it in a much more positive manner he wanted to believe that his cousin was still keeping an eye open on his behalf but concedes that the chances that Frost sent the email was slim McGraw felt like he was being coerced into moving on with his life on the whole it looks like a sincere message and nothing like the banter that was sent previously the big question is who is sending these emails none of roses friends believed that anyone other than Jack knew the password to his email account and there were no signs of the account being hacked there is one logical answer and that is a service known as Deadman switch this site allows users to send emails on a regular basis after death occurs these emails sent at regular intervals which can range from 30 to 52 days are automatically sent to predetermine email addresses there are problems with this possible solution though nobody knows for certain whether or not Fross actually signed up for this service his death was a sudden one and chances are that Frost did not anticipate it and cater for his passing even if he did then he would have had to written them himself but how could he have possibly known that weeks after his unforeseen passing that his own cousin would break his ankle are these really messages from beyond the grave number nine the Manhattan Transfer abductions story bordering on paranormal the phenomenon of alien abduction has polarized the world in opinions and conclusions the truth of whether or not extraterrestrials are somehow finding their way to our planet to perform strange experiments on hapless victims is possibly secondary to the mystery of the widespread accounts of such visitations how can so many people have had encounters and yet there is little concrete evidence the following story is about a woman Linda Cordell who claimed that grey aliens abducted her from a retirement in Manhattan as is the case with all abduction stories skeptics have labeled her as a hoax this is the Manhattan Transfer abduction story during his lifetime but Elliott Hopkins became one of the world's foremost UFO investigators rather than investigate Close Encounters he opted to discover more about the growing reports of alien abductions Hopkins poured so much of his curiosity into researching the phenomena that he acquired the nickname the father of the abduction movement he wrote a pair of books on the subject the second of which led to a third in April 1989 the 41 year old Linda Cordell was curious about the second of these books intruders the incredible visitations of Copley woods and began to read it the more she read the more she began putting two and two together thirteen years previously she discovered a bump on her face not far from her nose when a doctor examined this bump he told her it was nothing more than a surgery the only problem with this hypothesis was that no surgery had taken place seven months after she initially met Budd Hopkins Linda became the center of what many people cited as the most compelling and controversial of all alien abduction cases they called the case the Manhattan Transfer abduction she originally called herself Linda Cordell but she later changed her name to Linda Napolitano around 3:00 a.m. on November 30th 1989 Linda supposedly had an experience with several gray aliens at the time she could only recall fragments but she remembered enough to claim that she floated out of her closed bedroom window on her 12th floor apartment into a hovering UFO once on board the beings escorted her to a room that was likely a medical bay there she underwent an examination with selected parts the event not immediately available to her Hopkins decided to try Abbe Nanak regression these sessions took place over the course of much of a following year along with her original memories these sessions filled in many blanks of a standard abduction experience what makes the Manhattan Transfer abduction experience stand out from almost every other one was what happened just over a year after the abduction Hopkins received a parent confirmation from two additional witnesses a letter arrived in the post from two men called Richard and dem even though the letter corroborated the reports Linda made Hopkins did have some doubts over the pair wanting to know more about them Hopkins conducted background checks on them it turned out that both men had the same career close-quarters bodyguards additionally on November 30th both men were guarding the same man some people believe that man was the current United Nations secretary-general Javier Perez de Kuler the three of them were in a limousine and were crossing the Brooklyn Bridge when they saw something that shocked them both bodyguards insisted that they saw a woman floating way above the ground towards a massive craft hovering nearby if that wasn't enough of a sight a trio of other beings was accompanying the woman when the four entered the craft it headed for the East River and disappeared underwater interrogation of Linda Cordell whatever took place in the middle of that November night had a profound effect on Linda and even more so on the body guards both men became more irrational and began to display psychotic behavior Dan convinced himself that Linda had an unusual supernatural power or an extraordinary influence on other people Dan's borderline obsession with Linda took on a much more serious threat when he began stalking her things took on a strange turn on April 29th 1991 when both men inflicted a more down-to-earth abduction of Linda they bundled her into their vehicle and interrogated her for several hours all of this took place in broad daylight it was damn who took on the role of a so-called bad cop at no time did he accept Linda's denials about the original abduction experience the more protests she uttered the more upset he became six months after the second abduction Linda suffered a third Dan brought Linda to a safe house in Long Island and forced her to put on a night gown similar to the one she wore when they saw her floating away from her apartment Richard was nowhere to be seen but Linda did recall that she spotted some official paperwork from the CIA Linda did manage to escape the house but the foot chase ended when Dan caught up with her on a beach Dan dunked her head into the sea more than once before Richard turned up and coaxed and into releasing her Richard took Linda home a month later Richard turned up at her door he told her that Dan's obsessive behavior had become so out of control that he was actually committed to an asylum while all of this was taking place but Hopkins received another letter in the mail this came from a woman called Janet Trimble she revealed that she was driving across the Brooklyn Bridge at the time of the original abduction Trimble a retired telephone operator assumed that the event was nothing more than a scene who were filming of a scene from an upcoming science-fiction film with the addition of a fourth witness Hopkins made the decision to go public with some of the details of the whole event if killer had come forward publicly he could have propelled the chordal abduction into the stratosphere of UFO cases with credible documentation Hopkins and cooler correspondent on a regular basis and while he did confirm details Kula refused to go public Kula was willing to meet with Hopkins behind closed doors on the condition that Hopkins never disclose his name to the public domain in 2003 Linda Cortile agreed to a sit-down interview with French magazine loggers at 14 during this interview she added several new facts to her account the main addition to the original report was information of an undisclosed witness to the abduction all that Cordell revealed was that the witness was a truck driver for the New York Post and had an ideal vantage point from the Brooklyn Bridge today the Linda Cordell case website claims that there are 23 witnesses of the Manhattan Transfer abduction case on public record skeptics provide many loopholes to the story of Linda Napolitano and argue that many details of the case could be too good to be true the apartment block that Kordell lived and was a stone's throw from the active loading dock of the New York Post none of the workers on duty that ship reported anything unusual at the time that could be due to their own schedule at a time in question a more telling fact that counts against the subduction taking place could surround killer in his limousine security personnel insists that transporting a dignitary such as the secretary-general of the United Nations is an enormous logistical process security teams often prepare high-ranking officials travel well in advance a huge part of this is the timetables given if the car that is transporting the secretary-general is even a few seconds behind schedule then United Nations forces would have to move in and determine what if any action is required checkpoints are also set up and used to help determine whether or not lateness is an issue it has been almost three decades and the Manhattan Transfer abduction is still causing a stir what really happened to Linda Cordell if anything is a debatable mystery number 8 Adam Hecht 24 years old Adam Hecht was the son of famous movie producer Harold Hecht senior after graduating high school Adam became a tennis instructor in Beverly Hills California in the late 1980s On January 10th 1989 he and his brother Harold jr. went to breakfast at a local restaurant and soon encountered a homeless man a few minutes later Adam left the table and went outside and talked to the vagrant Harold asked Adam what he had said to the homeless person but Adam refused to answer after the brothers left the restaurant Harold saw Adam talking to the man yet again this time it was revealed that the vagrants name was Tony Adam was so pleased with his new homeless friend Tony that he invited him to move in with him a few days later he brought Tony to visit his mother Martine she was somewhat frightened by Tony and did not understand why her son brought him in she was especially confused when Tony begin to wave his hands over his food as if he were blessing it overall Adams family disapproved of their friendship believing that Tony was a bad influence on him despite this Adam and Tony's friendship grew and they both became frequent visitors to a dangerous homeless area in downtown Los Angeles called Skid Row Adam even burned his hand during one outing with Tony as they performed a special ritual together on June 10th 1989 harold arrived at adam's apartment after he had not heard from him in several days Tony was there and stated that he didn't know where Adam --is or when he'd be back a few days later Martine went to the apartment and was scared off as Tony tried to kiss her he also said that he was her son the Hecht family quickly reported Adam missing and had Tony evicted by July authorities investigated the possibility that Tony was responsible for Adams disappearance but no evidence was ever found that incriminated him when questioned he claimed to have no knowledge of Adams whereabouts Adams car was found abandoned on a Beverly Hills street one month after he vanished there were numerous parking tickets on the windshield which indicated that the car had been abandoned on the street for quite some time and not just a day or two in his car investigators found that his keys were still in the ignition his wallet and jacket were also inside however no other traces of him were found Adam Hex family adamantly insisted that he disappeared unwillingly but the authorities countered with the are meant that there was no evidence to suggest anything but a voluntary disappearance there was strong belief among Adams family that the homeless vagrant Tony knew more about the case than he claimed and that Adam may have been murdered by him or someone on the streets one year after Adam vanished Herold ran into Tony on the streets and asked if he knew what happened to Adam but Tony cryptically answered by saying that if he stayed on the streets long enough he would find his answer Adam Arthur Hecht is still missing and there aren't any solid suspects in the case Tony was originally suspected in the case but authorities later determined that he knew nothing of Adam's whereabouts if Adam is still alive he would now be 51 years old the case remained unsolved number seven Harold Bennett in 1967 dr. Larry Dossey was a young intern at a hospital in Texas when he was assigned a new patient Harold Bennett who was very ill and weak Larry did several different tests but could not find out why he was sick a baffled Larry called in another intern dr. William Hensley and asked Harold if anything unusual had happened to him Harold asked him if he believed in voodoo which brought William back to his grandmother's ranch in 1945 where he met a woman named Mary who claimed to be a voodoo queen and he actually witnessed her powers at work after a young woman was assaulted by one of the workers when the constable came to arrest the man William's grandmother refused to let that happen in the heaven and sent to the back of the ranch and Mary put a death hex on the man and he died soon afterwards Harold soon told William that he had refused to pay a fortune teller and she cursed him with a death hex larry was unsure what to do and did not believe in voodoo but William knew that they needed to do a voodoo ceremony to save Harold William knew they needed fire a body part and that they need to convince Harold that they were superior and that they could overcome the hex that night the doctors lit a drug on fire took a lock of hair and began the incantation Harold was then released of the hex by the doctors and by the next morning he seemed to be completely recovered and the doctors were amazed the doctors believe that Harold's belief in the hex and Voodoo helped save his life numbered zombies that's the best to scripture medical experts who met identical siblings June and Jennifer Gibbons could come up with to describe the young women they didn't speak they walk in a synchronized fashion they were the silent twins and they unsettled everyone who came into contact with them everyone that is except for Sunday Times investigative journalist Marjorie Wallace Wallace befriended the twins in the 1980s and brought about their shared life and its mysterious and in the 1986 biography the silent twins born in 1963 June and Jennifer were moved by their Barbadian parents to a small town off the coast of Wales called Haverfordwest known for its tranquility the town and the twins had but one thing in common quiet amazingly the two had never spoken to anyone else their entire lives instead they communicated with each other in a strange bird-like language only they could understand Haverfordwest was a predominantly white town and the siblings were consistently bullied at school because of their race their continued resistance to speak to outsiders only resulted in more exclusion eventually June and Jennifer withdrew from society entirely and turned to literature as an outlet for their pent-up aggression at age 14 the twins were separated in an attempt to encourage socialization they responded by slipping into catatonic states doctors and family members reunited the siblings thereafter and they spent the next few years holed up their room performing intricate plays for one another and writing extensively in their Diaries it was on the blank page that June and Jennifer revealed the darkness their bond exploring the joint need and hatred they felt toward one another Juna wrote nobody suffers the way I do not with a sister with a husband yes with a wife yes with a child yes but the sister of mine a dark shadow robbing me of sunlight is my one and only torment born ten minutes apart Jennifer viewed her older sibling as mightier in every way looks brains wits for her part June sensed the envy writing she wants us to be equal there was a murderous gleam in her eye dear Lord I am scared of her she is not normal someone is driving her insane it is me a chilling excerpt from Jennifer's diary further illustrates their shared disdain and possibly sheds light on why the two took to inflicting bodily harm on one another we have become fatal enemies in each other's eyes we feel the irritating deadly rays come out of our bodies stinging each other's skin I say to myself can I get rid of my own shadow impossible are not possible without my shadow would I die without my shadow would I gain life be freer left to die without my shadow which I identify with a face of misery deception murder such writing was a major creative outlet for June and Jennifer Gibbons they even penned a few novels though the books continued themes of mayhem and violence June's pepsi-cola addict is about a teen who's seduced by his school teacher then sent away to a reformatory where he fights off the advances of a homosexual guard Jennifer's disco mania is a disturbing little tale about the insane violence that goes down at a disco the books failed to make a serious splash in the literary world so the Gibbons twins found another way to get noticed criminal mischief they got their thrills from petty theft choking each other and eventually burning buildings to the ground it's the latter offense that landed them in court a judge ruled their deviant behavior combined with their severe social disorders were grounds for confinement he sent them to Broadmoor Hospital the very same high secured mental facility where legendary British gangster Ronnie Kray lived out the remainder of his life and brought more the doctors found June and Jennifer to be deeply disturbed even dangerous the two took turns eating one indulging one day while the other starved and Ville they were split up and housed in cells on opposite ends of the hospital nurses often found them nearly frozen in the same distinct poses this went on for 11 years until doctors agreed to transfer the twins to Caswell clinic a lower security facility in Bridgend Wales only one of the sisters would survive the relocation Wallis claimed that during her final visit with the twins it brought more Jennifer abruptly stated over a cup of tea Marjorie Marjorie I'm going to have to die when Wallace asked why Jennifer just said because we decided indeed as Wallace states in the silent twins the Gibbon siblings made a pact at Broadmoor one of them had to die so the other could live a normal life in March of 1993 June and Jennifer Gibbons aged 31 were transferred to Caswell upon arrival Jennifer appeared unresponsive doctors rushed her to the hospital where she was pronounced dead cause of death acute myocarditis were a sudden and lethal inflammation of the heart doctors found no evidence of poison in Jennifer's system according to June Jennifer simply placed her head on her twin siblings shoulder she then took her last breath and said at long last reroute after Jennifer's death in 1993 June went on to live a so-called normal life she sat down for a revealing interview with the New Yorkers Hilton else stating all she wanted now was to get married to and have children with harassed a man like Bob Marley as for her sister Jennifer she's buried under a headstone engraved with a poem written by June it reads we once were two we two made one we no more two through life be one rest in peace number five blue lady ghost of Moss Beach distillery high on a cliff in San Mateo near Half Moon Bay a restaurant called the Moss Beach distillery sits overlooking the ocean it is a very popular restaurant and diners flocked to the establishment for good food good wine and spirits especially the ghostly kind you see although the establishment has a fascinating history all its own it is most famous for one of the most notable unsolved mysteries in California this is the story about the blue lady ghost Moss Beach distillery dates back to 1927 when Frank Torres built a restaurant bar he named it Frank's place and turned it into a speakeasy a place that illicitly sold alcohol during the Prohibition era it was frequented by some very influential people of the times and it was a place for a variety of underground criminal activities politicians gangsters and silent film stars ranked among Frank's clientele this proved very advantageous to Frank you see Frank's place was used as a drop spot for Canadian room runners they landed on the beach below hoist did the rum up the cliff where it was loaded into vehicles for delivery to other illegal establishments up and down the coast Frank's connections provided protection for the operation and his nightclub was never raided even though others in the area were not so fortunate but Rome was not the only spirit in Frank's place the restaurant is rumored to be haunted by the blue lady ghosts supposedly she is the spirit of Mary Ellen a beautiful woman who loved to wear blue dresses the blue lady story goes that around 70 years ago Mary Ellen a married woman with a young son fell in love with a piano man John Cantina John and Mary Ellen carried on an illicit love affair for quite some time they would rendezvous at a hotel right next door to the Moss Beach distillery and take romantic walks on the beach below during their passionate encounters the affair ended when Mary Ellen was tragically killed they were conflicting stories regarding the way in which she died when a count says that someone attacked her while out on a walk with John at night she was stabbed repeatedly and John was also attacked but survived another story goes that Mary's jealous husband found out about the affair and took up a fight with John in which Mary was stabbed subsequently John disappeared and then washed up dead on the beach the second account of Mary's death reports that she died in a car accident during a bad storm to add to the drama John was supposedly having an affair with another woman at the same time as Mary this woman Anna Philbrick jumped off the cliffs and drowned after she discovered John was involved with another woman parapsychologists indicate that such emotionally charged tragedies often lead to hauntings this seems to be the case at the moss Beach distillery some of the reported activity attributed to the blue lady ghost include objects moving on their own whispered voices and taps on the shoulder when people are alone a couple who once owned the place said that they were locked out of their rooms on several occasions and furniture would inexplicably move around some female patrons have claimed that their earrings disappeared those earrings would later reappear along with a bunch of others had been previously reported missing there are a large number of stories from children who say they have seen the lady in the blue dress one really crazy story that employees tell has to do with the computerized cash register for reasons that no one including the computer tech could explain all the dates in the system change to 1927 the Year Frank built a place other employees claimed to have heard her whispers been physically touched by the spirit or called via cellphone a few years ago a popular paranormal show conducted an investigation at the Moss Beach distillery they discovered many contrived paranormal effects that were the work of the most recent owner it appears that the restaurant intentionally plays up the hauntings to create a dining experience somewhat like a Disneyland attraction although this has cast some doubt with the skeptical many personal stories still abound the number of people who have had strange experiences lend for a very intriguing if not convincing narration who can resist a Shakespearean tale of tragic love affairs broken hearts murder-suicide and ghosts number four lady of the swamp disappeared and was never found was it murder was it an accident these questions still haunt the case of a missing Australian Margaret Clement now know as the lady of the swamp Margaret's fortunes were accidental her father worked as a caretaker of bowls he impassively bought some shares in a gold mine which skyrocketed in value suddenly the Clements could afford the best in schools clothes and vacation tours of famous sites her father died in 1890 and in 1907 Margaret and one of her sisters bought Ellery a mansion with approximately 20 stately rooms in South JYP's land in a land down under the mansion was a fine one although the location was mostly surrounded by swamp and flood waters Margaret traveled and enjoyed a plush life until the 1920s when it was discovered that man she and her sister had trusted with their fortune or crooks who had taken most of the Clement fortune for themselves there was no other way around it sections of the teller II property would have to be sold eventually the financial situation got worse and Margaret and her sister had to resort to buying cheap food at a local store and watching their mansion crumble into ruins by the 1950s almost all of the money was gone and margaret stated Tillery even though it had no electricity or other common messages eventually the situation became so dire that margaret was almost forced into selling her land and she moved into a small cottage on the estate it was there she spent her time reading mystery novels and taking care of her dog dingo the puzzle started on May 22nd 1952 margaret vanished off the face of the earth possibly unconnected but intriguing her dog had died from having its throat cut about two weeks previously did she wander off into the swamp and perhaps fall prey to some of the snakes and rodents who thrived in the murky water did she commit suicide or as evidence seemed to point was she murdered the most important clue turned out to be a simple but significant piece of wood her walking stick she never wandered outside without it but it was found at her house it seemed Margaret did not leave the house under her own power wherever she had gone since she didn't have her walking stick a local man who was suspected but without a body or other clear clues nobody was prosecuted the lady of the swamp is never found the newspapers in Australia created a frenzy regarding Margaret's mysterious disappearance she was soon dubbed the lady of the swamp in every small clue or conjecture was vividly reported a set of bones found in 1978 seemed after investigation to belong to an Aboriginal female Margaret vanished and to this day nobody knows where or why as an avid reader of murder mysteries Margaret probably enjoys that number three ban mcdaniel nearly six years have passed since Ben McDaniel disappeared while fresh water scuba diving and despite extensive search efforts clues as to what happened to the 30 year old Tennessee native remained sketchy and unresolved the oldest of three brothers born to Shelby and Patty McDaniel Ben had endured a failed marriage a bankrupted construction company that left him despondent in addition he was saddled with a hefty tax debt estimated $50,000 and he was still deeply affected by the 2008 death of his younger brother Paul from a stroke returning to his parents suburban Memphis home McDaniel took up their offer to take a sabbatical to Santa Rosa Beach Florida where the family maintained a beach home the move appeared to be beneficial as he gradually began to be returning to normal aided greatly by rediscovering one of his boyhood passions scuba diving he soon became a regular at vortex Springs one of Florida's largest fresh water diving facilities August 18th 2010 had been a typical hot summer day in the region and at around 7:30 p.m. McDaniel was seen by two other divers as he descended into the springs presumably headed for a cave a popular attraction for divers primarily due to the challenges it offered the cave had a well deserved reputation for being extremely treacherous so much so that the state had debated banning it following 13 deaths attributed to it in the 1990s in response the owners had placed a sign at the caves entrance discouraging further exploration a second deterrent a locked gate was placed some 300 feet further into the cave a key to unlock the gate was available at the dive shop but was only given to certified cave divers which McDaniel wasn't but his presence at the facility had become commonplace so one of the two divers employees at the dive shop who'd spotted McDaniel as he began his dive followed him to the cave unlocked the gate then resurfaced he remains the last known person to see Ben McDaniel two days later when McDaniels truck was noticed to still be in the parking lot the Holmes County Sheriff's Department was notified and following an initial search turned up nothing by Ben's keys wallet containing $700 and cell phone in the truck word spread quickly and a detailed search began the McDaniel family was contacted and for the next three days volunteer divers and cadaver dogs scoured the cave and surrounding swampland with the only recovered evidence being two oxygen tanks discovered at the caves entrance professional water rescue teams were brought in but after 36 days of exhaustive search efforts there were no positive results the family then offered a sizeable reward but when a diver ostensibly searching for clues became trapped and died in the cave an uproar ensued in the diving community claiming that the reward had become too much of a temptation endangering not only the safety of the divers but also that of subsequent rescue efforts the reward was then rescinded several theories have been proposed over the ensuing years including foul play McDaniel staging his own disappearance in order to escape his financial burden and perhaps the most likely possibility McDaniel becoming trapped drowning and eventually being devoured by aquatic predators after six years it's unlikely that the tragic saga of Ben McDaniel will ever be definitively uncovered adding his name to the long list of unexplained disappearances that continue to baffle and mystified number two mystery of the people in the floor when belma's resident Maria Gomez Pereira noticed a stain forming on her kitchen floor one day in August 1971 little did she know that she would become the center of one of the most fascinating and best documented cases of paranormal phenomenon in the whole of the 20th century the belma's phases without any apparent cause the stain begin to develop over a period of time and eventually mould in itself into a face while this face was forming the stain was said to have moved position terrified by this Pereira tried to remove it several times by scrubbing vigorously all of her efforts proved futile so she solicited the assistance of her husband study the family asked the local council for any help that they could avail when surveyors came to the property the decision to excavate the kitchen was taken at the time it was considered the best
